Deception
He should have known it wasn't Juliette. She will never let him forget it. She wasn't malicious, but he knew he had hurt he deeply.
He thought he took care of Adalind the night he took away her powers, but he should have known a witch like her always had a trick up her sleeve.
Her deception took away his powers and Juliette's trust in him.
