25. Chapter 25

Chapter 25: Igniting the Embers of Companionship - Lilly's Heartwarming Date

Kara was awakened to the sound of her alarm going off. Her night of sleep had been a rather good one for the first time in the past couple of days. She remembered what she had talked about with Charon and planned to go forward with what had been talked about between them. Knowing that today was also her special time with Lilly had Kara feeling a little nervous as she hurried out of bed.

"I've got to go over one last time to make sure everything is all set." Kara said to herself.

She went over to her closet and picked out the set of clothes. That she would be wearing on this day setting them on the bed. Kara followed up by getting her things together so that she could hurry and bathe first.

"Did we set a time for when our date was?"

Kara hurried to the bathroom wondering if the others were up yet. As she got to the bathroom, she opened the door and stepped inside.

Kara awoke after a pleasant rest and began to quickly go through her preparations for the day ahead. She was in such a rush that she didn't notice that someone had sneaked into her bed the previous evening until she placed her clothes for the day down on it.

Nestled under the slightly pulled aside covers was Haley. It looked like she'd crept in and bedded down with Kara overnight. She was just starting to stir, likely from the loss of her cuddling companion. However, Kara had already bolted out of the room by that time and rushed to the bathroom to take a morning shower.

"Ugh...what's the rush? It's only just turned eight o'clock and your little date doesn't start until nine."

Possibly due to Haley's presence in Kara's bed, Erys had latched herself onto Kara and had likely been forcibly awoken by Kara's rushing around.

"At least you didn't wake my Mistress up, though you nearly did. Hurry up in here and go say good morning to her, okay?"

Kara in the rush that she had been in had not noticed that. Haley had crept into her bed with her until she had placed her clothes upon it. But as she was about to rush into to take her morning shower. Erys spoke up for the first time that morning asking why she was in such a rush.

"I'm just wanting to get prepared and everything in order for when that time comes."

Kara finished her business in the bathroom and quickly returned to her own room. Where Haley was just starting to stir Kara sat down on her bed. Waiting for Haley to open her eyes she reached over and brushed some of the loose hair from her face.

"Good morning did you sleep well?" Kara asked.

Blazing through her morning routine, Kara explained why she was in such a hurry.

"You've got nearly a whole hour before then. If you rush, you'll just forget things."

Regardless of the warning, Kara still hastily blitzed through the rest of her routine and headed back to her bedroom to see to her stowaway. Sitting down on the bed next to Haley, Kara waited until Haley began to show signs of waking up. However, Haley just rolled over and placed an arm over Kara's lap.

"Want to sleep more..." Haley mumbled in response to Kara's question.

"Wait for it..."

Haley looked to be drifting off back to sleep until she started to fidget around under the covers. A couple of minutes later, Haley was forced to get out of bed by her own body reminding her that she had a night's worth of bladder filling to empty. Bolting out of the room as Kara did earlier, Haley rushed to the nearest toilet before her holding failed.

"She's getting better, I guess. At least she's stayed dry."

"You're right about that."

While waiting for Haley to wake up she had rolled over. Placing her hand upon her lap Kara reached over and held it gently. Before letting go as Haley started to fidget under the covers a few minutes later. She bolted out of bed heading towards the nearest toilet. Kara watched her leave the room.

"That's good with a little more practice she'll get the results she wants."

While waiting for Haley to return Kara reached over. To her phone resting on the nightstand near her bed. Turning it on she waited for it to boot up before clicking on the KiraApp. "What about yourself how are you doing this morning?"

Once the App opened Kara checked to see if she had gotten. Any messages from any of her coworkers, too Kiki as well. Before placing her phone back on the nightstand so that when Haley returned, she had Kara's full attention.

Haley's abrupt exit left Kara and Erys alone together once more for at least a few minutes.

"While that may be so, she still requires me to wake her up before letting loose in bed. She has quite a way to go before she can claim to have overcome this hurdle. Perhaps you could help her out in that at some point? Encouraging words or intervention, whichever method should help her out in some way."

During the time she had before Haley's return, Kara checked her phone to see if she had any new messages in the KiraApp. The first thing which came through before Kara got a chance to open the App was a text message. The sender was her school's faculty. By the time she realized this, the KiraApp had already fired up. She had a few new notifications, mainly system messages introducing new trial period workers which started the previous day, alongside these, she had three PMs, one from Rya, the second from Kiki and the final one from Annmarie. At the moment, she only got the headers of each PM as she hadn't clicked into them yet:

'Ry-Ry' - "Please forget what you saw!"

'Kiki' - "About last night..."

'Annmarie' - "Thank you for yesterday."

Once her check of the App concluded, Kara asked Erys how she was that morning.

"A little tired, for reasons I've said before. Aside from tiredness, I guess I could be counted as doing well?"

Deciding that it was probably best to see what the school wanted, even though they had a day off, Kara opened up the text message:

'Dear Parents/Guardians and Students of Evergreen Academy,

It has come to our attention through our Safeguarding Representative that we may need to revise some of our policies in regards to the availability of our After-School services and how our Students head home. Recent reports have come through to our Safeguarding Representative about potential risks towards Students who attend schools in the local area. While these may still be rumor's, we would like to strongly advise our Students to take care when heading home at the end of the school day.

Due to a recent rise in risks towards Students in the St Augusta Area, we recommend that all Students head home in small groups, with family groups being paramount, and friendship groups if there is nothing else. However, if the Parents/Guardians of the Students are available to collect them, that would be preferred as it is the safest method. Students whom do not have these options are able to attend our After-School club until their Parents/Guardians are able to collect them. Previously, the After-School club was only available for an additional small fee however, in the interest of safety, we have wavered the premium and will be allowing all Students who wish to attend to be able to use its services until this matter has been confirmed as solved by local Authorities.

Thank you for your time and understanding. To all our Students, please enjoy your day off and we shall see you again tomorrow.

Just before Kara had finished reading the text, Haley had returned from her dash to the toilets. Judging by her posture, she had just made it before wetting herself, although it was uncertain as to whether there were any complications before the release.

Erys suggested that Kara should try to help out Haley. With overcoming her current problem, she is having.

"I'll try and help her out the best I can but until I know more about. What she's trying to do I don't really know how to help out. For now, I'll try out what you suggested and try helping out with waking her up and offer her some encouraging words here and there."

While she waited for Haley to return Kara after having opened the KiraApp saw that. She had gotten three PM's from Rya, Kiki and Annmarie she didn't really know what. Those messages were about having only read the titles of them. But she had a feeling she already knew what they would be about. Kara also got a notice from her school about the day off she read the text.

She wondered just what sort of these reports could be about. That had come their way of having making everyone worried about how everyone got home safely.

"I'll have to discuss this with the others."

Kara had wanted to then click on the PM message from Kiki. But Erys broke the silence and Kara had already turned off her phone.

"You can always try going back to sleep?" Kara offered.

Haley had then returned and this was the best chance for Kara to start saying something. Encouraging to her with the progress she had made so far.

"Congrats with having such a good start this morning."

Kara decided she'd assist in helping Haley overcome her issue. Afterwards, she checked the messages on her phone and was a little unsettled by the School's Text message. She resolved to discuss it with the others to shed some light on what might be the true reason behind it.

She was about to check up on the PMs in the KiraApp, but realized that she'd already turned her phone off. She proposed that Erys could try going back to sleep, yet that idea was quickly pushed aside when Haley came back from the toilets. Trying to jump onto the encouragement, Kara offered supportive words to Haley, but neglected one very important thing before doing so.

"I wouldn't exactly call it a good start, but I appreciate the attempt at cheering me up." Haley answered looking a little down about something.

"Probably best to get her opinion before giving your own. This is exactly why it'll be difficult for me to catch up on lost sleep."

While it hadn't exactly had the desired effect, at least nothing bad came from Kara's rushed praise. It would be better to hear Haley's thoughts on it before offering any kind of support.

Kara wondered what the best way of talking to the others. About what she had learned in the School Text. She didn't want to scare the twins as they were still pretty new at this whole empowered deal. Talking with Lilly first might prove helpful in how it would be best to tell the twins.

Kara had tried to offer praise to Haley, it didn't have the desired effect. But it worked a little bit even Erys offered some advice.

"Rushed the gun there I guess."

Seeing how Haley looked a little down about something. Kara tried to help out a little thereby finding out what it was.

"Is something wrong and would you like to talk about it?" Kara asked.

Kara realized her mistake and opted to rectify it.

"It wouldn't exactly be 'you' if you hadn't done that. Mouth moving faster than thoughts is always how you've been."

Asking what might have caused the sullen look on Haley's face was Kara's first course of action. Haley looked to be mulling over whether she should answer or not, but her feelings towards Kara won out over her apprehension.

"I kind of made it but..." Haley began, blushing a little. ". I couldn't get them down in time so I technically still had an accident."

From the sounds of it, Haley had managed to at least reach the toilet before losing it, but at the cost of her panties. Thankfully, the nightdress she had on managed to cover what might be being bared underneath it.

"I'm still new at this sort of thing you know."

Haley answered Kara a little later after mulling over if she should tell her or not. "If you'd like I can be the one to wake you up in the morning. So that you will have more time in getting to the restroom on time?" Kara offered.

She got up off the bed and went over to Haley and hugged her. Doing her best to try and cheer her up a little.

Kara offered to be Haley's morning alarm so she had more time to make it to the toilet.

"It's not just in the mornings, though. If Erys doesn't wake me up during the night then I'd still wake up in a wet bed." Haley answered as Kara hugged her close. The hug was enough to get Haley talking more. "If there was some way of making it so I wouldn't need to pee overnight, then a morning wake-up might help out more."

"The usual times I have to wake her up before she wets herself is anywhere between half two and quarter past three in the morning. It varies a bit, but it happens most often in that 45-minute timeframe. Is that enough to get you started? Although, don't tell her I told you that. Try and get her to realize it for herself."

"Do, you make sure to use the bathroom before you go to bed?" Kara asked. She still was hugging Haley as she listened to what else the girl had to say. "That might help a little bit or we could always try somethings that could help you out?"

Erys spoke up.

"I'll see what I can do about that setting my alarm on my phone. Could help us out there as I'd be able to wake up before her and make, she gets up to use the restroom."

Kara after a few minutes of still hugging let Haley go.

"Would you like to get cleaned up?" Kara asked.

Kara asked if Haley made sure to use the toilet before getting into bed.

"I always go before getting into bed, but it doesn't seem to help much." Haley explained. "That's what the stuff on the internet said to do. Could I be forgetting a step?"

"Are you certain you want that kind of duty? Waking up in the night might make it harder on you come morning."

Finishing the hug, Kara asked if Haley wanted to get cleaned up.

"Let's take a shower together." Haley suggested. "We can help wash each other's backs that way."

Haley appeared to already be comfortable enough to bathe with Kara. Their relationship was on the right track!

"There could always be a chance that might be happening. We could always create a list for you of things that you would need to do that might help?" Kara suggested.

Erys spoke.

"I don't want to be sleepy in the morning let me think on it more before I decide on what I want to do."

Haley suggested that they bathe together. This caused Kara to blush a little bit herself.

"O... Okay, though let's get you what you want to wear for the day." Kara then went on to ask Haley a question.

"I... I was wondering if y... you like to the a... arcade sometime just the two of us?"

"A checklist might help a lot. Good thinking!" Haley replied. "If I can see what I need to do, then I won't have to remember it all at once."

Listening to Erys's caution, Kara decided to think a little more on whether she wanted to risk getting up in the night and potentially being sleepier in the morning. Haley's suggestion at a paired shower broke Kara from her thought process a little.

Agreeing to the duo shower, Kara went with Haley to pick out her clothes for the day.

Afterwards, Kara asked if Haley wanted to go to the arcade with her at some point.

"The Arcade is more Lilly's thing. I can play whatever games I want to at home. I'm more for stopping by sweet shops and the playground at the park." Haley explained. "When school's out next month, I like going to the pool, and would really love to go to the beach again, but the beach is more of a family thing."

Heading into the bathroom near the Twins' bedroom, Kara and Haley started to undress and started the shower up so it was warm enough after they'd rinsed down.

Haley was all for the creation of a checklist.

"I'll help you out with creating it so, we can go over the things you. Would need to do so that everything will be listed." Kara offered.

Kara helped Haley pick out her clothes for the day. Then asked if Haley would like to go to the arcade. With the things that Haley was saying was giving Kara ideas of treating Haley to a special day of her own. Much like how Kara would be spending time with Lilly today.

"I think you might be able to do those things." Kara says. She was going to surprise Haley with this but needed more time on forming a plan of action. There was still Holly who was being left out of the picture and Kara needed to make it up to her somehow.

Arriving at the bathroom, both girl's undressed and stepped into the shower. There they washed each other's backs and add some water fight.

The checklist idea was agreed upon and both girls decided to put one together later that day. Haley's suggestions for what she deemed to be a fun day out were taken into account by Kara. With the knowledge, she decided to form a suitable plan before diving in headfirst. After all, she still had to make amends with Holly.

The bath time between the girls started out as just normal washing before Haley's playfulness kicked in once more and it turned into a water fight, which still ended up cleaning both girls down. While cleaning Haley's back, though, Kara noticed a faint purple marking shaped like a large crystal shard with fallen angel wings branching off from it. This marking was in the epicenter of her back between her shoulder blades and was slightly harder to miss than the small one she saw on Holly the previous evening. However, as quickly as it appeared, it vanished, as if it was nothing more than a trick of the light.

Following on from their playful exchange in the shower, Haley and Kara dried themselves off and returned to their usual morning routine. Holly had woken up shortly after Kara left the bathroom and, upon noticing her, greeted Kara with a quick morning hug.

During the time Kara had washed Haley's back. She noticed a faint purple marking in the shape of a large crystal shard with fallen angel wings. It reminded her of something similar she had seen on Holly. Even going as far to look at her own naked body to see if she had any sort of markings on her.

After their playful shower fun, they dried themselves off and Kara got dressed in. The clothes that she was going out with Lilly in. Kara put on a white halter top which shows off the top. Part of her small chest on her bottom half she has on a pair of violet shorts. With a black belt around her waist, on her legs are a pair of black thigh-highs that end in a pair of small black shoes. Around her neck is a small black choker-like necklace and over her clothes, she wears a long black twin-tailed jacket.

Heading back to their usual morning routine. Holly had woken up and after leaving the bathroom. They noticed her and Kara greeted Holly with a small hug back.

Concerned with the second coming of the strange markings, Kara looked over her own body to see if she had any on her. Much like in the previous World, the only marking she had was the one on the back of her hand that was placed there to signify her pact with Erys. Thinking back some more, Lilly also had a Marking on her to show her pact with Chanki, so perhaps these were pact marks? Either way, they must have some significance to the way this World works...

Dressing herself before leaving the bathroom, Kara headed out with a fully dressed Haley and greeted Holly in passing. Lilly was nowhere to be seen at present, yet she was clearly up and about as the Maids were tidying up in her room and collecting whatever washing she had.

Haley split off from Kara with a parting hug and, unusually, a small kiss on the cheek, before heading back to her own room to gather up both her washing and Holly's.

The only mark Kara saw was the one from her pact with Erys. Thinking back to Lilly's markings with Chanki Kara could help but think about him. She had not heard anything from him since she had entered the new timeline. Did that mean she was no longer bound to him or what as she didn't know.

Seeing that Lilly was nowhere to be found at present. Kara split off from Haley with her own hug and small kiss. She headed back to her own room where she grabbed her phone and turned it on to first check the time. To see how much time, she had left before her date with Lilly began. Followed by opening up the KiraApp once more and getting the chance to click on all three PM messages from Ry-Ry, Kiki and Annmarie to see what they said.

Last but not least Kara decided to send Mikan a text.

Kara to Mikan: 'Good morning, I know this might seem sudden and all, but I was wondering. If you like to hang out for an hour or two this afternoon that is if you are not too busy?'

With the text sent and the messages read Kara turned off her phone. Leaving her room to go in search of Lilly by going to her room and knocking on her door.

"It's me are you there?"

After parting ways with Haley, Kara was left with her thoughts about why she hadn't heard from Chanki at any point in this world. He was clearly still present, as Lilly maintained her powers, but he seemed to no longer be bound to Kara, perhaps because of her pact with Erys.

Returning to her room, Kara checked the time and then each of the PMs she'd received. The current time was around half eight in the morning. This meant she still had half an hour before the scheduled meeting time.

'Ry-Ry': "Please forget what you saw yesterday! That was a one-off due to the toilets breaking down. I've never done that before at work, seriously! I had Performance Practice before my shift so I'd been holding it since the end of lunch break and still didn't get a chance to go. Accidents happen, right?"

'Kiki': "I'm still confused about what went on between you and that other girl. Just what was all that about? I think you told me who they were yesterday, but I can't remember at all what you said. All I can remember is that large clock in the background of the fight. Might that have something to do with it?"

'Annmarie': "I would've said this yesterday, but I was too embarrassed to after all that happened, so I'll say it now. Thank you for helping me out when...you know... If you weren't there to help, then I don't want to think about what would've happened. / Thank you...Big Sis."

After the messages, Kara sent a text over to Mikan and then turned off her phone once more before any response could come back. Then, she headed over to Lilly's room and knocked at her door. The one to answer the door was not Lilly, but one of the Maids. They explained that the 'Young Mis' was already awake and had gone to breakfast earlier. Judging from the explanation, Lilly had likely awoken even earlier than Kara had and was potentially downstairs at present.

Kara was given the chance to finally read all three of messages that had. Been sent to her that morning each of them needed a reply back and having been only. Half past 8 that morning it left Kara with a little time to send replies back to them as she waited to see Lilly.

Kara to Ry-Ry: 'Accidents to indeed happen but I was also at fault I was only in there. At the time because I was busy helping Annmarie make it to the bathroom on time. So, it was just all a misunderstanding and we can move on from this right?'

Kara to Kiki: 'That whole thing was mainly about helping me control the Dark Powers I use. While I did learn to better control them there are still some other problems. As she's clearly upset with me with how you basically did all the work. While I did nothing but follow what you said and didn't try doing things myself. That large clock you saw was a part of the whole thing as I'll just say that girl is related to the Sera's.'

Kara to Annmarie: 'Your welcome, if you ever need any help, I'll do my best to help you out. Thanks... Little Sis.'

With all three messages sent Kara turned off her phone she would check the messages and reply from Mikan in a little while. As she had went to Lilly's room, she found that Lilly wasn't there and one of the Maids told her she had gone to breakfast, Kara thanked her and headed downstairs to find Lilly.

Upon finding out that Lilly was already up and about, Kara headed downstairs to see if she could find this elusive girl. Evidently, she wasn't in the main hall, as Kara could see the complete open space as she headed down the curving staircase. Next, Kara checked the dining room as she had heard that Lilly went to breakfast. There were signs that someone had been in there, but nobody was present in there at the time Kara checked.

Finally, with few rooms left to check, Kara headed into the sitting room to finish her search. This time, her efforts were rewarded as she could instantly pinpoint Lilly's location. Sitting on the sofa facing the large TV across from the doorway was a person with instantly recognizable short white hair. Granted, it looks very different, being neatly combed, parted and feathery in texture, but there was no doubt it was Lilly. Seeing the small Fox Spirit floating just above the back of the sofa to Lilly's left, all suspicions were soon confirmed. Even so, it seemed that the two hadn't noticed Kara yet and had their attention on something else.

Kara was still busy trying to find Lilly she checked the main hall and dining room. But Lilly wasn't anywhere to be seen. Kara even went as far as putting her phone back on and trying to call Lilly that way. At least she might be able to hear Lilly's phone ring but didn't instead she place her phone on silent. Heading into the sitting room to finish her search Kara finally found Lilly.

She was sitting on the sofa with the small fox spirit floating just behind to the left. As Kara looked at Lilly, she saw that she looked very different with her hair being neatly combed and parted. They had not noticed her yet as their attention was on something else. Not knowing what it was Kara waited a few moments trying to listen to what. Both girls were talking about before finally walking into the room.

"Morning you two." Kara greeted them.

When she managed to find Lilly, Kara didn't intrude just yet as she was curious as to what might have gotten their attention and drawn their focus away from what was going on around them. Kara attempted to secretly listen into the conversation, yet it seemed she'd joined in mid-way rather than near the start.

"Do you think it could be...?"

"There's a good chance it could be related, but something just seems, I don't know, too overt?"

"You mean that nothing was done to hide it, right?"

"Exactly. It's almost as if they want others to know, kind of like sending a message of sorts. There must be something we're missing."

"I just hope that it's put a stop to, and fast. The numbers are far too close to theirs. If they're hitting in Rank order then..."

"They might be soon."

Just from the tail end of the conversation, there was a definite feel of caution and worry from the discussion. There likely wasn't much else their conversation could've been about. It had to have been in relation to the message sent out.

Nonetheless, it couldn't be allowed to interrupt their outing together and perhaps a distraction might be what Lilly needs now. Just when the gloom of the conversation had passed, Kara announced her presence by greeting the two, which resulted in Shiro getting so surprised by the sudden arrival that she ended up falling from her hovering perch straight onto the sofa.

"Oh, Good Morning." Lilly returned the greeting as she stood up from her seat and turned to face Kara. Kara just managed to catch Lilly putting her phone away into the small purse she had resting against her waist.

"Good Morning..." Shiro replied, her voice muffled by her tumble to the sofa cushions.

"We setting out, then?" Lilly asked as she moved around the Sofa to stand just a little way in front of Kara.

Now that Lilly wasn't being covered by the furniture, Kara got a full view of how different she looked.

As Kara had noticed before, Lilly's hair was much more maintained than normal, even when compared to how neat she normally has it. She had really gone all out to make sure she looked presentable, despite how she might have viewed this as a sisterly outing. Part of her might have subconsciously caught on to Kara's intentions, and that's why she went to these lengths. Noticeable even with a quick glance, Lilly had made sure that her fringe was held out of her face by a flower shaped hairclip designed after her namesake flower. It blended in so well with her hair that Kara had a hard time noticing it.

Unlike her usual casual wear, Lilly had donned a near translucent sundress which covered down to just beneath her waist. The way it shimmered in the light streaking in through the windows was almost mesmerizing. Sewn into the very fibers of the dress were small glittering threads that bought about this luminous decoration. If the light was just right, Kara could see through the dress and look upon Lilly's slender body. Although, likely knowing about this very phenomenon, Lilly had a white tube top on underneath it to cover her upper body. Another unusual sight to see on Lilly was jewelry, yet on a golden chain around her neck was a locket shaped like a love heart, with the middle of it indented out. Kara recognized this necklace as the commemorative Sister jewelry set that she had crafted for herself, the twins and Kara when Kara was adopted into the family. Around Lilly's left wrist was a flower bracelet, likely paired with the hairclip she had on.

Finally, covering Lilly's lower body was a set of cream-colored short shorts, and adorning her feet were a set of white strap sandals with a slight heel to them, making her just around the same height as Kara. Slung over her right shoulder was the strap to the purse Kara had seen Lilly place her phone into. Much like the rest of her clothing, the bag itself was pure white in color, with golden accents to the clasp.

Kara at first listened to what was said between both Shiro and Lilly. As it turned out they were talking about. What Kara had learned about when reading the school text message this morning. It was a part of the very thing Kara had wanted to talk to Lilly about. Soon enough both girl's noticed Kara after she had greeted them both.

"Are you doing well Shiro?" Kara asked.

Lilly had moved from the sofa to now stand in front of Kara. "Yes, if that's okay with you?" Kara got this chance to see how Lilly looked that morning.

She seems to have gone all out in making her appearance look as great as possible. Lilly had really outdone herself and Kara tried to not stare for too long. "You look beautiful," Kara told Lilly meaning every word of what she had said. "I was thinking we could start with a walk to the park."

Probably out of concern for how skittish the Fox Spirit was, Kara asked if Shiro was doing well. Floating up from her fallen position, Shiro dusted herself down and gave her response with her usual happy demeanor.

"Yes, I'm doing just fine, thank you." Shiro responded with a smile. "Although, you really do have a knack for arriving unexpectedly."

Looking over her partner for the day out, Kara was overwhelmed by how much different Lilly looked and couldn't help but utter the cliched line to begin any Date.

"Come on, I don't look much different from normal." Lilly bashfully replied as a blush formed on her face. "From the way you're dressed, I wouldn't be surprised if people took us as a couple." She added on with a small giggle.

Kara suggested that the first stop for their day out should be a walk to the park.

"It is nice enough weather for that, and it's meant to be sunny all day. Plus, I think the fresh air would do me good." Lilly agreed.

"Have fun, you two." Shiro chimed in.

Kara returned the smile to Shiro. "I try not to all the time but it seems I can't help that from happening all the time."

Kara then looked over at Lilly. Who'd blushed a little at what Kara had to say to her.

"I. I wouldn't mind if people thought that." Kara stuttered a bit she blushed herself. Kara after saying what they'd start out doing. Lilly was all up for the idea and the pair said their goodbyes to Shiro. Before walking to the front door Kara opened it and allowed Lilly to walk outside first before joining her and closing the door.

"May I hold your hand as we walk to the park?" Kara asked.

Kara wasn't against Lilly's observation of the couple thing and would actually be happy if people did think that. Saying goodbye to Shiro, Kara led Lilly to the front door and immediately took on the role of what a 'Boyfriend' would do for their 'Girlfriend'. Catching on to the assigned roles, Lilly gladly slipped into the tender of the two and accepted being the Dated and not the Dater.

Ushering Lilly out of the house, Kara requested if she could hold Lilly's had while they walked.

"You really are pushing that couple thing." Lilly grinned. "If that is what you want, my dear, then I would be mean not to let you."

Even through her playful words, it was evident that Lilly would prefer to hold hands.

Kara took ahold of Lilly's hand with her left one and the two. Started walking in the direction of the park. "I just want to enjoy our time together and think we do make a pretty cute couple." Kara grinned.

Lilly seemed to be enjoying their time together so far which was a good thing. They walked off the grounds of the Sera Manor.

"Is there anything you would like to do together today?" Kara asked.

The (partial) joking of both girls continued with the Couple idea being the topic. As the two headed out of the Sera Manor Grounds, hand in hand, Kara asked if Lilly had anything special in mind for something to do on this outing.

"I'd like to stop by Sweet Paradise sometime today. While we're there, if it isn't too much trouble, could we watch one of the fights in the Coliseum? I want to get a better idea of the competition we'll be facing come the Tournament. I know it isn't that much of a prime day out activity, but it'll help us both."

Both girls still joked about the couple idea, then Kara asked if Lilly wished to do anything today. Kara used this moment to let go of Lilly's hand for a moment to take off her jacket. Placing it over her other arm she took hold of Lilly's hand again.

"How about after we are done at the Park we can. Visit Sweet Paradise for a snack if you like." Kara agreed to the first part of Lilly's suggestion and thought about. Watching one of the fights at the Coliseum. "I don't see why not, that's a good idea there." Kara agreed with the rest of Lilly's idea.

After a short walk, the two arrived at the park. Kara's first act was to suggest they head to a familiar spot.

"I was thinking we could take a walk around the fountain. If you want, we can get something to drink or wait until we hit Sweet Paradise?"

Kara accepted the suggestion to visit Sweet Paradise.

"That sounds good to me." Lilly agreed happily to Kara's plan.

The pair soon arrived at the gates to the Park. Even though it was still early in the morning, lots of families with children were enjoying the pleasant weather around the various facilities the park had to offer. A handful of young couples had the same idea as Kara in mind and had also set up picnic and date spots throughout the park grounds. Kara informed Lilly of her plan of action for the Park visit.

"That'll be a good starting point, although coming all this way to just walk around the fountain kind of feels like it's not enough. The weather's good enough to do a lot more here. As for drinks, I can wait until we go to Sweet Paradise for now."

Lilly was happy with Kara agreeing that they head to Sweet Paradise later. When they arrived at the park, they saw lots of families with children enjoying the weather, along with setting up various areas of the park with either picnic or date spots. Kara looked around at the various people as they walked towards the fountains.

"I planned this with starting at the fountain as that's where I first met your sisters. As our first meeting place was when I saw you entering the school grounds." Kara told Lilly. They arrived at the fountain while there Kara looked around the area slowly. Looking for anything that might seem like it didn't belong there.

"Okay, would you like to sit down for a bit?"

Kara explained her reason for starting at the park's fountain.

"That seems like it happened a long time ago, what with how things have gone and all, when it was little more than a month since then. I see what you're getting at, though, as it's a common scenario in Romance Books. Returning to where it all began, reminiscing in the memories of bygone days, and comparing how things have progressed over time, that's how it normally goes."

Kara decided to look over the fountain plaza to see if anything seemed out of place.

However, as she had absolutely no idea what to look for, perhaps it would be better to come a little more prepared next time. Kara offered a chance at sitting down and relaxing around the fountain.

"I don't mind if we stop here for a bit, although, you do know what fountains do to me, right?"

The two of them sat down beside the fountain.

"I'm not really sure as to what life would be like right now. If I had not meet you or your sisters." Kara says. She looked at the fountain and then back at Lilly. After she had even gave the area around the fountain a look as well.

Lilly then brought up what fountain's do to her that being with water and all.

"We could move now if you wish, want to play on the swings?" Kara asked.

"Everything happens for a reason, so I wouldn't even consider how things might have gone differently. There's no use in thinking about what could have been. Instead, you should look forwards and take things one step at a time." Lilly explained as the two rested on a bench by the fountain.

In the short while which she was there, Kara looked over the fountain area for anything out of place yet found nothing of note. Everything looked to be normal and in order.

Taking into account Lilly's weakness to running water, the break around the fountain was concluded quickly. Kara offered the option of playing on the swings.

"The girls might be more into that, but I think I outgrew the swings a while ago. Why don't we take a walk around the shady areas under the tress instead?"

They both got up from the fountain and started to walked around the shady areas. Under the trees which was a short distance from the water fountain. "We can walk that area for a while." Kara agreed.

When they entered the tree area Kara looked around the area this time. Checking for anything that might catch her interest in taking Holly to.

After her search, she thought of something to ask Lilly.

"Later on, today would you want to go to the arcade or maybe see a movie?"

The next course of action was agreed to be a walk under the shade of the trees. Following one of the main pathways around the park, the pair enjoyed the mild breeze and sounds of birdsong around them. During their walk, Kara looked around for places which might be of interest to Holly.

Due to the excellent weather, Kara was able to notice a few places which Holly might enjoy. A little way down from the play area, there was a small duck pond complete with safety fences around it so children could feed the ducks without any risk. Occasionally, frogs hopped out of the water as well to snack on the many insects that entered their strike zone. Around a couple of minutes' walk down from the fountain, there was a clearing in the trees that opened out into a bed of mixed flowers. Butterflies fluttered and bees buzzed around the many scented flowers that inhabited that clearing, carrying the pollen across the park to wherever they needed to. Finally, a short distance away from the flower clearing, there was evidence of a wild rabbit burrow, but there didn't appear to be any rabbits in view at the moment, potentially because of the amount of activity in the park from all of the families that had decided to have picnics.

Near the end of the shaded trail, and after her search had yielded some good results, Kara turned her attention back to her current companion and asked what other activities she might want to do.

"I don't think there was anything I wanted to watch on at the cinema, so perhaps we could stop by the arcade."

Walking under the shady trees the pair enjoyed both the mild breeze. Along with the sounds of birdsong Kara used this time to search for places that might interest Holly.

Kara found quite a few things there was a small duck pond, there was a clearing. Of the trees where it opened up into a bed of mixed flowers. Lastly there was evidence of a wild rabbit burrow but no rabbits were on display. Kara made mental notes and they reached the end of the shaded trail.

"We could visit the arcade if you like."

Kara used this moment to check the time on her phone. Before deciding it was time to head to Sweet Paradise. Both girls took another shaded trail that lead. Towards the park's exit and turned in the direction of where they wished to go.

"I was wondering have you given it anymore thought about. If you wanted to sign up for the tournament or not?"

Concluding the walk around the shady pathways, Kara checked her phone to see what the current time was. It was going on for around half ten in the morning, which means that they'd been keeping good time so far with the activities. Alongside this, Kara noticed that she'd gotten the replies to her PMs and the text sent to Mikan.

Deciding that they'd spent enough time at the park, Kara started to head towards Sweet Paradise for the next decided activity. While heading to their next destination, Kara asked if Lilly had given the tournament more thought.

"I'm still mostly undecided, but I think I'd have a better idea after I've seen the kind of competition I'd be up against. I'm not one for the whole 'fame and fortune' part of it, so, if the competition looks like they'd be a good experience to face, then I might go for it."

Sweet Paradise was only a short distance away from the park, around a ten-minute walk at most if they followed the main roads, but this could be cut down to a shorter time if they cut through between some of the other stores around the main shopping area.

The young love birds left the park, as they walked there. Kara asked Lilly about the tournament and she voiced a reply.

"If you do after all decide to join, will you reply to Yukina's request in teaming up. Or let fate decide on who you will be partnering with?" Kara asked.

She had checked her phone for the time seeing how it was 10:30. They were making good time it was decided upon too take the shorter route. By cutting between some of the other stores. Once again Kara looked around for places to take Holly to, she looked for a book and pet store.

After giving the area a look, the pair finally arrived at Sweet Paradise.

Kara wanted to know whom Lilly would partner with should she decide to enter the Tournament.

"You seem rather focused on what would happen if I entered, even though I haven't said if I would yet. If I do enter, I'd prefer to leave it to chance who I get partnered with. But, aside from that, it's ultimately down to if I decide to join or not."

Kara likely wouldn't get much more from that line of questioning, and pushing for more answers might end badly. Kara has observed, on multiple occasions, how stuck Lilly can be in her ways, so trying to get her to do something she might not want to do isn't the best idea.

En route to Sweet Paradise, Kara looked around for other places she might be able to take Holly, but couldn't find anywhere that immediately stood out to her. This could be due to her cutting through alleyways rather than taking the main footpath.

The pair arrived at their destination at just gone 10:35. Kara had managed to cut the travel time in half by opting for the shorter route. Even though it was early in the day, Sweet Paradise was already looking quite packed with people. Even the outdoor seating area looked to be filling up fast. There were some tables left, but it likely won't be long until those were taken as well.

Kara was only curious to see who Lilly would team up with nothing more. Yet Lilly was still against either joining or not so Kara let the matter drop.

Not being able to find any other places to take Holly. Kara stopped looking for now and saw that they had cut down their travel time by half. Inside of Sweet Paradise, the place was indeed packed and only a number of tables were left open.

"What do you want to eat or drink?" Kara asked.

They walked over and stood in line to wait their turn.

Mildly disappointed with the sheer amount of people who shared the same idea as them, the duo took their place in the line that had managed to stretch to the outside of the store. Despite the length of it, the line was going down relatively quickly so it shouldn't be long before they got a chance to order.

"Let's wait and see what they've got left, first." Lilly suggested in response to Kara's question.

Near enough ten long minutes of waiting later and the line had just gone down enough for both of them to be within viewing distance of the remaining stock. As expected, not a good deal of Ice Cream was left, but staff members were quickly replacing the emptied cartons with fresh stock. Some of the more popular flavors were completely sold out and had their spaces in the display replaced by doubled up flavors to allow for faster serving.

Eventually, a total of fifteen minutes after their arrival there, it was time for Lilly and Kara to place their orders. Before Kara could even offer to pay for Lilly's order, she had already gotten out her purse and was putting together the change inside to reach the transaction price. Unsurprisingly, there was no request for the 'Mega-Pop Challenge' from Lilly.

Their wait in line went fairly quickly. Also, it was agreed upon they'd wait and see what was left before purchasing anything. When it was finally their turn Kara ordered for herself and took bowl of vanilla ice cream and a small soda. She let Lilly pick out her own meal and drink each of them paid for their stuff together. Then moved off to the last empty table where Kara set her things on the table.

"I'll be right back just got to use the restroom." Kara told Lilly.

Kara had been feeling a small need to use it but. Also wished to check the messages on her phone in private. So, she went over and waited in the small line of a few people. She took out her phone and booted up the Kira App. So that she could check her PM's and text from Mikan. Once that was taken care of Kara's turn to use the restroom came up, she went about her business before rejoining Lilly.

After purchasing their desired snacks, Kara and Lilly headed over to one of the last empty tables left inside the building. Wanting to check her received messages from earlier in private, Kara excused herself to the toilets and waited in line for her turn. The line was long enough to check each message before she actually reached the door to the toilets.

'Ry-Ry': "That's a relief! I knew I could have faith in your kindness! ❤️ Um...just one more thing, though, not a word of it to anyone else, okay? Not even Mii! It'll be our little (and soon forgotten) secret."

'Kiki': "So, they wanted it to be a Solo challenge? Then why did I suddenly get pulled into it? Everything's so complicated when it comes to those girls. Either way, what's done is done so there's not much we can do about it. I'll ask more about this when you're back in work tomorrow, as I think it'll be easier explained face to face."

'Annmarie': "You are perhaps the best Disciple I've ever had the chance to work with. Although, you must not forget to aid the others as you have me. Tama and Mary are just as important to the Dark Lord as I am." (Translation: "You're the best! But I won't keep you all to myself. Don't forget to help my friends as well!")

Text from Mikan: "Hey there! I think I'm free this afternoon, so we should be able to meet up then. I've got some school stuff to do with Rya this morning, but that should be done around midafternoon. That is, assuming that we don't run into any issues. What time were you thinking of meeting up?"

With her messages sent out, Kara's turn came around. Quickly finishing up in the toilets, Kara rejoined Lilly at the table they'd managed to claim earlier. The place was still filling up rather fast and looked to be reaching max seating capacity very soon.

"Considering we're here now, why don't we watch a couple of fights in the Coliseum while we finish our Ice Cream? That way, we're not taking up a table which families might need. After all, there's bound to be more seating there than there is here." Lilly suggested.

While Kara was in line to use the restroom, she checked her messages. Reading each one and then sending a reply.

Kara to Ry-Ry: 'Don't worry I won't tell anyone about that you've got my word on that.'

Kara to Kiki: "Yeah, she thought I might need some help when facing her. So, she allowed you to join in as well. We can talk more about this tomorrow at work when I'm not super busy with anything."

Kara to Annmarie: 'You're the best teacher a disciple could ask for. Helping out Tama and Mary is just as important as when I'm helping you. Oh, that reminds me while I do worship our Dark Lord, I actually worship a Dark Lord of my own her name is Erys. Perhaps you would like to join me in answering her call?"

Text to Mikan: "That's great as I'm really looking forward to this. I'm currently spending some time with Lilly right now. So, I was thinking of around 3:30pm if that's okay with you?"

Kara finished sending everything and then rejoined Lilly after her trip. Who suggested that they head to the Coliseum to watch a couple of fights. "Sure, we can do that I wonder who will be battling today?" Kara asked.

Gathering their food and drinks Kara and Lilly headed for the Coliseum. Passing through the entrance to get inside once there they headed. Towards the arena to get some seats for the next upcoming fight about to begin. However, on one of the monitors it appeared that one of the people about to take place in the next match as Yukina.

Kara sent off replies to the messages she'd received and concluded her business in the toilets. When she rejoined Lilly, the two agreed to head off to watch battles in the Coliseum while they finished their snacks.

The Coliseum was quite busy as well, but there was still plenty of seating. The talk about the upcoming tournament was probably the cause of this as people wanted to get in as much training before the tournament. Heading out into the audience seating area around the arena, Lilly and Kara found a place to sit which had a decent view of the fight but was also a safe enough distance away so that they wouldn't be at risk.

The current fight, which was near enough concluded, was between two young girls which neither Kara nor Lilly recognized. Even so, it provided some entertainment until one of them was eventually defeated by falling for one of their own Spell Effects. There was a short interval until the next fight started.

Sitting side by side with Lilly Kara was reminded of when she first. Arrived in this new world as this spot had been her first memory. When she and her sisters along with their friends had watched Nicholas battle against a set of girls. She looked around at the gathered crowd of people searching to see if she saw anyone she knew.

After her search she sat the remainder of her food and watched the match. Between two young girls who she didn't know. The fight was soon over and the next combatants entered the arena one of the people Kara knew.

'Hey isn't that Yukina?' Kara asked Lilly.

She pointed out her to Lilly as the second opponent entered.

Reminiscing over the scenery, as this was where Kara had awoken upon entering this Timeline, Kara looked around the arena to see if there was anyone she recognized.

Firstly, Kara spotted Nicole in the waiting area for combatants, but wasn't able to see her usual group. Even so, Nicholas, Elle or Chloe must not be too far away otherwise Nicole wouldn't be in the Coliseum. Also, in the waiting area were Kiki and Ryu, likely waiting for their turn to train as a pair for the Tournament. Kara wasn't able to see anyone of note in the audience, but she did point out Yukina's entrance into the Arena to Lilly.

"Haven't seen her fight for a while, so this could be entertaining. Where's her usual partner?" Lilly commented.

Kara was able to spot Nicole, Kiki and Ryu but wasn't able to see anyone else. Lilly then commented on it being a while since she had seen Yukina fight. Plus, not knowing where Yvraine might be at the moment.

"I'm not really sure I haven't seen her around lately." Kara replied.

Yukina waited in the arena for her foe to show up. She transformed into her battle outfit as the next person finally arrived it was the twin-tailed white haired and green-eyed girl. Lilith stepped forward quickly changing into her own battle outfit. As Kara looked upon Lilith, she couldn't feel any sort of magical power coming from her.

"Who's that?" Kara asked pointing at Lilith.

Neither of the two knew where Yvraine was. The arrival of Yukina's opponent was another unknown variable.

"Can't say I know her either, but I think I remember her signing up for the Tournament." Lilly informed Kara. "Not sure who'd win in the fight as I don't know what kind of powers the other girl has."

The battle should prove entertaining, if only from lack of knowledge on the outcome.

"I remember seeing her at the sign ups." Kara pointed out.

Kara looked to where both Yukina and Lilith were. "There's something strange with that girl I don't sense any sort of magical aura from her."

The battle soon began with Yukina making the first move. Things looked to be even between the pair at the start but when Yukina started to cast Water Magic. Against Lilith did both Kara and Lilly see the first sign of the power under Lilith's command. She matched Yukina's water magic with her own water magic. Only to suddenly switch to earth magic to block an attack the switch to fire magic to attack Yukina who quickly shielded herself with water.

"She can control three of the elements?" Kara asked clearly in shock at what she was seeing.

Before the combat started, Kara picked up on the distinct lack of Empowered Aura around Lilith.

"Maybe she got a Wellstone to make Empowered gear for her to fight? She wouldn't be the first to do that." Lilly commented.

The first exchange of blows happened between the two combatants. They looked to both be on even footing until Lilith countered Yukina's Water powers with her own, to then swap to Earth to form a shield and then fire to offensively attack.

"Interesting piece of kit if she's able to do that kind of thing. Must've been quite expensive, as stacking traits onto an item drastically increases its cost." Lilly observed as the fight continued. "She's either a try hard who wants to impress others, or someone who's got way more money than sense."

Lilly spoke on that Lilith might have had a Wellstone make some Empowered gear. For her to fight with she was right about that.

"I didn't know they could make gear that does that sort of thing," Kara replied in a surprised tone.

The battle was beginning to turn in Lilith's favor. At one point she switched to the Air element to cut through a torrent of water. Every so often Lilith would switch between the four elements to either attack or defend herself. Yukina was beginning to sweat as it seemed that none of her attacks. Were getting through to Lilith Yukina then switched tactics and called upon her Blood Magic. Managing to catch Lilith off guard and finally score a hit against her. Lilith then smiled and for a moment and then the battle got serious.

"Seems like she can tap into all four elements at will. Got it to be some sort of item she might be using or her real magic power?" Kara asked. She was then about to say something else when she was finally able to feel an empowered aura coming off of Lilith.

Right then and there a massive surge of power was felt by both Kara and Lilly. An aura of dark red-flame formed around her body. "What power," Kara said clearly amazing at the magical power emanating off of Lilith. Using her own power for the first time her real power which was Chaos Magic. Lilith quickly gained the upper hand against Yukina countering everything she cast against her like it was child's play. Yukina was hit with multiple attacks and was almost knocked out.

When she quickly activated her Awakening Form. Granting her an extra boost in power but even that wasn't enough. That was the moment Lilith decided to end things she concentrates a massive amount of magic energy right where Yukina was standing getting ready to attack. With snaps, her fingers the massive magic energy is released into a huge explosion of dark red flame-like magic energy destroying anything caught inside.

The fight between Yukina and Lilith was over in record time when Lilith used her full power against her opponent, decimating Yukina in a few swift moves. Using a form of power which Lilly had never seen before, Lilith had claimed victory.

"I might have to look that power up if she's fighting in the tournament." Lilly responded. "I've never seen anything like it before. In fact, is it even a Power which other can get?"

With the fight concluded, the arena was cleared out once more to prepare for the next combatants.

"Should we stick around for the next fight, or would you like to move on to somewhere else?" Lilly asked Kara.

Watching the match had gotten Kara excited. Wishing that she had been the one down there instead of Yukina. She didn't know if the outcome of that match would have been the same or different but Lilith was someone she wanted to battle against. "Neither have I, I would not even know about that, do you wish you could have access to that power?" Kara asked.

With the battle over the arena cleared out for the next fight.

"I'd like to stop by the bookstore if that's okay and then we can get lunch?" Kara suggested. She then said one more thing, "though I would like to let Haley and Holly know that we are doing okay."

Kara expressed great interest in the powers which Lilith displayed.

"I won't deny that her Power is impressive, but I still prefer my current Power. After all, it makes for good heating in the Winter Months." Lilly explained in response to Kara's question.

Kara decided that the pair should move on with their day out and suggested some places which they could visit, while also wanting to check in with the twins.

"It might be good to see what new books have come out, so I don't mind stopping by the Bookstore. However, we've just had a snack so I think we should do something else after the Bookstore rather than having lunch." Lilly replied. The pair had now left the Coliseum and returned to Sweet Paradise. Upon hearing that Kara wanted to check in with the twins, Lilly searched through her bag for her Mobile and offered the Phone to Kara. "Just drop Holly a text or give the House Phone a call. While you're doing that, I'll take a quick trip to the Girl's Room."

Leaving Kara with her Mobile Phone, Lilly headed off towards the toilets.

"I'd like to see that power of yours again sometimes. Perhaps in a training match sometime which should be fun?" Kara asked.

It was agreed upon that they would head towards. The bookstore next followed by doing something else afterword's. "We can stop by the arcade if you wish?" they left the coliseum and returned to the ice cream shop. Lilly then gave Kara her Mobile to check in with the youngsters while she headed towards the restroom.

Kara to Holly: "It's me Kara I'm using her phone to let both you and Haley. Know that we are both doing fine. We're at Sweet Paradise right now, and are heading to the Bookstore next. Is everything alright on your end?'

Kara sent the text to Holly.

Then decided to use this chance to search Lilly's phone. What Kara was looking for was anything on herself like a photo or something special like a lewd photo or document.

After her search she checked her own phone for anything new from her work friends and Mikan.

Kara decided a slight change of plans was needed in regards to when Lunch should occur.

"Playing a few games would be perfect before lunch." Lilly agreed.

Entrusting her Mobile Phone to Kara, Lilly headed off to the toilets while Kara sent a message over to the twins to give them an update. With her message sent, Kara took this chance to invade Lilly's phone storage for anything questionable or mildly lewd.

It was almost impossible to miss, so Kara instantly noticed that Lilly's phone background was of the Twins in swimsuits at a water park. Considering how different the twins looked, this photo was likely taken a couple of years ago. Looking at the date the photo was taken in the gallery, it was from their eighth birthday. Holly had a rainbow polka-dot one-piece on and was looking her usual meek self, while Haley was sporting a horizontally zig-zagged black and yellow one-piece and hugging her sister while smiling for the camera. Normally, this may be counted as an adorable family photo showing love for her sisters, but those kinds of pictures are usually framed around the house and not sitting as a phone background.

Looking through some more saved photos, Kara came across another one of the twins. This time, they were sleeping and hugging each other closely, looking quite cute while doing so. Haley had kicked most of the bedcovers off and also displaced the lower half of her nightdress, revealing a rather full looking pull-up with its design faded, indicating that the deluge had happened a good while ago. Again, could be counted as innocent, assuming that Lilly had adjusted Haley's nightdress before taking the picture. The date of this photo was near the end of the previous year, back when the twins were nine years old.

Finally, just short of Lilly's return, Kara had found a more recent photo from a couple of days ago, on the day of the Twins' tenth birthday to be exact. This one was the family photo Kara remembered from the previous Timeline, including herself and her new adoptive family all grouped together to commemorate the occasion. It was evidently sent from a PC to her phone due to the sheer size and quality of the photo, likely after uploading the image from a camera to be printed and framed in the Picture Room back at the Manor.

Kara just managed to notice that Lilly was en route back to rejoin her and quickly stopped her snooping to view the message reply from Holly:

'It's good to know that you're both having fun. Haley's actually quite jealous of being left out of going to Sweet Paradise, but I think it's for the best. She'd only just force that Mega-Pop challenge on me again if she went. We've just finished going through our Homework for tomorrow and Haley's already flaked out in front of her games complaining about how boring it was. Can you check to see if there are any good books at the Bookstore? Anyway, hope you have more fun and looking forward to seeing you both again later. Bye~ '

"So, any response back yet?" Lilly asked Kara upon returning. "I hope you didn't rub in the fun too much otherwise we'll be in for an angry Haley when we get back."

Returning the perused phone back to Lilly, after cleverly disguising her visits to the picture gallery, Kara checked her own phone for replies. Everyone except Rya and Kiki had responded, but it was noticed that Rya had seen the message sent. Kiki hadn't read the response yet, but that might be down to her being at the Coliseum.

Kara had sent the text to Holly and then searched through Lilly's phone storage. Kara was able to find some photos of both the twins in swimsuits and sleeping together. Lastly, she had seen the photo of herself and the twins from the birthday a few days ago. She wanted to know if Lilly would ever try and of this sort of thing on her. It was a strange thought to think about but it was better than nothing.

Going back to the main screen again she got a text back from Holly.

'We can all go to Sweet Paradise, together as a family. I'll take her on in the Mega-Pop challenge so you need not worry about that. I'm glad the Haley finished her homework, and will see if any good books are at the Bookstore. Will see you again later this afternoon.'

Kara saw that Lilly was back, "yes I just got a reply and sent a text back to her. They both finished their homework though Haley's jealous of not being able to have come here to Sweet Paradise."

Kara gave Lilly back her phone and checked her own. She checked what Mikan and Annmarie had sent her before they left the Coliseum.

"Shall we be going?"

Kara pinged a response back to Holly and it was notified that she'd seen the message. Checking her own phone, Kara looked through the responses to her earlier messages. Mikan was fine with meeting up with Kara at 3:30pm and Annmarie seemed quite confused with Kara's preaching of another Dark Lord.

Kara informed Lilly of the response she got from Holly and asked if they could set out to their next destination. Lilly had nothing else which needed to be done in Sweet Paradise, so the two set off for their next destination.

Back within the Coliseum Lilith who after having won her match. Walked over to the officials and decided to try and arrange an open challenge. To anyone who wished to face her in combat here at the Arena. The challenge would take place Friday afternoon at 4pm.

Having set off to their next destination the two headed towards the Arcade. They arrived there in about twenty minutes. To find the place packed with various kids and teenagers their age.

"Didn't think this place would be like this right now." Kara told Lilly as they walked inside.

Much like all the other places they'd been this day, the Arcade was no different with how packed it was. Just getting inside would prove difficult, regardless of whether there were any Machines free to play on.

"It is a day off and the weather's nice enough, so I'd be surprised if everywhere wasn't busy." Lilly agreed as the two headed into the Arcade. "Should we go to the Bookstore first and see if this place clears up?"

Once they arrived at the arcade, they found it to be packed with kids. "Yeah, hopefully it clears up in a bit." Kara agreed. They left the area and headed down the street for about ten minutes and arrived at the Bookstore.

Kara opened the door to allow Lilly to walk inside first then followed after her. Kara used this chance to look around for any of Holly's favorite books that were 'new' and on sale.

Deciding that the Arcade could wait, Kara changed plans and headed to the Bookstore first. Inside the Bookstore, Lilly and Kara went off to different sections which catered to their interests.

Kara managed to find a collection of books which Holly might like and they weren't too expensive either. However, stock of them was limited due to popularity so waiting too long might mean that they could go out of stock. Even so, there wasn't any immediate risk of losing a chance to purchase them.

Kara found a few books which Holly might like and picked up two books for her. Before moving on towards another section of the bookstore. She found herself in the manga section and looked around for something that catered to her interests, she looked for a nice ecchi manga that had plenty of panty shots.

But also decided to look for a manga that would cater to Lilly's sister con fetish.

Kara continued shopping for books and searched for any kind of fetish-specific Manga's that might cater to Lilly's and her own interests.

Even though this bookstore stocked more traditional forms of written media, like novels and tomes, there was a small section dedicated to what the store called 'Hobbies and Specialist Print', in which some Manga's were present. While limited, there was around two manga's which Kara would be interested in.

However, due to the limited stock, they did not have any Sis-Con Manga's, likely because it was a very specific fetish that carried rather negative connotations in the Modern World.

Picking up the perverted Manga's was sure to catch Lilly's attention if Kara casually left the store with them. Perhaps it would be better to leave those to a more 'private' outing?

Kara found a couple of manga that catered to her own interests. But not much for Lilly's own after she finished her search she went back in search of where Lilly might be hiding. On her way to find the siscon Kara looked around the store for any familiar faces. Those being her fellow Cafe Kira members perhaps some of them liked to read books.

Gathering up her finds, Kara headed back to Lilly, but not before searching around for any familiar faces or Kira Crew that might be in the bookstore.

However, Kara saw nobody she recognized among the people browsing the bookstore.

"Got what you came for?" Lilly asked Kara.

Kara found Lilly.

"Yeah, I did find anything that interested you?" Kara asked.

They headed up to the cashier where Kara paid for her purchases. Then they left and headed back to the arcade which while still fairly busy. Had a few less kids running around they entered together.

"Which game do you want to play first?"

"Nothing that I haven't read before. Although, it seems there might be a few series with continuations coming out soon." Lilly answered as the pair concluded their business in the Bookstore and headed back to the Arcade.

The arcade was still very busy but they could see a few attractions in it which didn't have too many people around them. Kara requested to know which game Lilly might want to play first.

"I wonder if the dance mats have some spaces?" Lilly suggested. "If not, then I guess I'll make do with the Crane Games."

Lilly wished to either try out the dance mats or the crane games.

"Let's see if the dance mats are free first?" Kara offered.

The two of them headed a tad deeper into the arcade passing by youngsters. Having fun while walking Kara asked Lilly a question.

"Is everything okay?"

They reached the dance mats which was empty for the time being.

Kara decided to see if the Dance Mats were available before moving on to the alternative offered. Heading in the direction of the Dance Mats, Kara asked if her companion was doing okay.

"Huh? Oh! Yeah, I'm okay." Lilly replied, smiling slightly. However, as she's known her this long, Kara could tell that wasn't a fully natural smile.

Surprisingly, the Dance Mats weren't being used at present. Acting upon this rare occasion, Lilly headed over to one of the mats and placed some tokens into the machine. The machine then started showing a list of songs which could be played. Picking one of the ones which she knew best, Lilly started up the game.

Lilly said that she was okay, but knowing her as Kara did. She could tell it wasn't a natural smile something was wrong with Lilly.

"Are you sure?" Kara asked and then added. "If something is wrong maybe talking about it might help you feel better."

With the dance mats, empty Lilly headed over and placed some tokens. Into the machine, Kara soon joined in on the other free machine. Waited until Lilly picked the song and the game started up.

Kara could see through Lilly's strong front and questioned once again if everything was okay. Realizing there was no point in lying at present, Lilly voiced her concerns.

"It's just about the message we got from the School earlier." Lilly began, whispering so as to not alert others to their discussion. "That's only half of the story. The reason behind that message being sent might be linked to a rumor that I heard. Apparently, someone's been going around targeting low-ranked Empowered Ones and killing them. I don't know the reason behind the attacks, but I'm worried that the girls might be targeted next. Their Ranks are too close to the recent victim for comfort."

It certainly wasn't happy date talk, that's for sure. However, this was news to Kara and it cleared up what she overheard the pair discussing earlier. Even so, Kara decided to join in with the dance game and occupied the other machine before starting up the song choice.

Lilly was still worried about the message from this morning. About the attacks against the low-ranked Empowered one and their deaths.

"Why would someone do something like this in the first place?" Kara asked in a small whisper. She thought about the chances of both girls' being targeted next. The thoughts didn't sit well with Kara 'I won't let that happen." Kara stated. Seeing as how the date was turning sour. Kara tried to help cheer Lilly up in their game.

Kara was taken aback by the announcement and wanted to know why anyone would do such a thing. Lilly didn't know the answer either and explained that she'd consulted Shiro about it earlier. Trying to get the day out back on track, Lilly and Kara turned their focus to the game at hand. Lilly had made it a 'co-op' score rather than 'vs' score.

Both girls, being nimble and dexterous, scored quite highly in the song that was playing. However, Kara's score was slightly higher than Lilly's in the terms of notes hit, but Lilly's 'Chain' score was higher than Kara's. Having dexterity was always good for hitting the buttons, but having the Knowledge of when to hit them was also important. Getting a balance between the two would mean incredibly impressive scores.

With their focus turned back to the game. It started up as a 'co-op' with both girl's scoring highly as the song played. Both their scores were different with Kara having a higher score and Lilly having a higher 'Chain' score. Kara did her best to try and match Lilly's 'Chain' but it was hard when one didn't have Knowledge of when to hit the buttons.

The Song playing out on the Dance Game came to its end and the final results were displayed. Together, they'd managed to score quite high and end up in the Top 50 rankings for that particular Song Difficulty on Co-op. Each inputting a 4 letter Username to tie the scores to, the rest of the results came up. Sitting at a decent halfway of 25th place, Kara recognized a Username pair she'd seen before, that being 'RyRy & Mii'. It didn't really come as much of a surprise, considering both of them attended a Performing Arts Academy, but that meant that both of them probably frequented this establishment as well.

The next decision came to either try again using a different song or on a harder difficulty, or move on to another game.

The final results showed up and were displayed both Kara and Lilly, had managed to make it up into the Top 50 rankings. After inputting their usernames Kara noticed a pair of familiar names that belonged to Rya and Mikan. The next decision came to either trying another song of moving onto another game. Kara decided to move on and took Lilly over to the Crane games to try and win some other prices.

Following on from the Dance Game, Kara decided to try her hand at the Crane Games to win prizes. Instead of wanting something for herself, Lilly suggested that they won prizes for the twins back at home. Finding a relatively well stocked machine, the two set about winning as many prizes as they could while limiting the spending of tokens down so that they could try some other games afterwards.

Crane games are well known for being notoriously rigged against the player, but patience is of utmost importance for winning anything from them. And so, began the battle between human and machine...

So, began the battle between human and machine. As both Kara and Lilly tried their hands at the crane games. At first things didn't go so well as both of them failed a few times to snag any of the prices. Once Kara got super close to getting a small white wolf but. The machine dropped the item at the last second before the small opening that. Would have allowed Kara to take it.

All in all, it took each girl 12 tries to finally get an item for one of the twins.

Through perseverance (and a copious number of Tokens), Kara and Lilly were finally able to win something from the Crane Game. Before they spent any more tokens on the Crane Game, the two went elsewhere to win another prize with hopefully a higher success chance.

They had a choice between three games which offered prizes and these were: A Coin dozer, a Shooting Gallery and a Ring Toss. The Coin dozer had small prizes like keychains and lucky charms, the Ring Toss had a variety of prizes but some may be harder to get than others and, finally, the Shooting Gallery rewarded the biggest prizes of the three but in return was the hardest of the three.

Nimbleness and Strength were key to winning the Ring toss, as one would need to have a strong throw to knock the prizes down and be good at controlling their Strength to aim accurately. Knowledge and Precision were paramount for the Shooting Gallery, as knowing where to shoot the prizes so they fell was a necessity as well as being able to hit the prize in the right spot to claim it. The Coin dozer didn't need any specific innate skills, but required patience and dedication to win anything other than Tokens.

Withdrawing from the crane game the pair. Went elsewhere to win another price they had to pick between three games. Kara looked at each of the games that they could currently pick from at the moment. Kara decided to go for the Ring Toss which had a variety of prices and was medium in terms of difficulty. Walking over Kara looked about to see what sort of prices could be won before letting Lilly take the first try.

Kara decided upon trying the Ring Toss out and looked over what prizes were available. The prizes were organized in terms of size, with the larger prizes being at the back and the smaller ones near the front. The small prizes consisted of various knickknacks like phone charms, keychains and children's watches. The slightly bigger prizes were phone cases decorated with notable children's TV show characters, small figurines from popular media and small plushie toys. Finally, the large prizes right at the back were things like super soaker guns, Nerf guns and large plushie toys.

Kara allowed Lilly to take the first throw to try and win something. Lilly loaded up the machine with some tokens to release five throwing rings. Carefully judging the distance between the throwing area and the prize she wanted, Lilly focused on watching the power of her throw. When she believed her aim to be accurate, she released the ring and...

...just missed one of the small plushies. The throw was accurate, but she didn't put enough power behind it to knock the prize down. The pair had four attempts left before they'd have to load it up with more tokens.

Kara looked over the prizes that were available, the prizes were organized in terms of size. She finally decided on what she wanted to try for as Lilly. Gave her ring a toss only for it to fall short of one of the small plushies. With it being Kara's turn she took her ring and sized up her aim and judged the distance to her prize. Kara tossed her ring only for it to end up for over one of the large plushie toys.

Lilly's turn was again and she tossed her ring for another small plushie toy. This time the ring landed around the prize and it was knocked down. Kara then tried her hand at it again and managed to knock down one of the super soaker guns. With their prizes won they each took the last turn together and tried for one of the small figurines. Taking a deep breath, they tossed the ring together but it ended up fall a little short.

They claimed their prizes and played a few more arcade games before Kara asked. "Want to go get some lunch?"

Carefully using their last four tries at the Ring Toss, both Kara and Lilly managed to win some prizes. Two of their five attempts netted prizes, so it was just under half a win/attempt ratio. Either way, if they combined the cost of the two prizes they'd won, then their payout is better than the cost.

The pair tried their hand at other arcade attractions before deciding to go off and do something else. Thankfully, Lilly's bag had some fold-up reusable carrier bags in which the pair were able to store their winnings in. As the time was now nearing 1pm, the duo decided to go and get some lunch. Lilly had no preferences for any particular restaurants that she might want to eat at, so Kara was left to just pick based on whatever she deemed appropriate and, most of all, affordable.

Having it fall upon Kara to decide on where the pair would eat for lunch. She picked a sandwich place well known for their "meatball' sandwiches. They walked about fifteen minutes to arrive there. Walking inside the place for mildly packed but there were some empty tables for the two to sit at. They walked over to the small line of two customers and waited until it was their turn.

"How are you enjoying our time together?" Kara asked.

The place for lunch was finalized and the pair headed off towards a Sandwich Place that Kara knew of. It was quite the walk, being a full quarter of an hour away from the Arcade, and noticeably busy when the pair arrived. Thankfully, there were a few empty tables for the two to pick from when they'd ordered their food.

Taking their place in the short line, Kara asked how Lilly was finding their time together. The question came as rather random to Lilly, but she still answered it.

"It makes a nice change to spend some time away from the twins, although I still can't help but worry about what they're getting up to at home." Lilly answered. "Also, I do hope I'm not taking too much time out of your day as you seem kind of preoccupied with something yourself."

Kara had asked her question and Lilly responded with an answer.

"Sometimes one needs to do what they would like to do. Or could always use a small break every now and then." Kara answered. "I'm sure they are doing okay if you want you can message or call them?"

It was soon their turn and they both placed their orders. While Kara thought over what else to say to Lilly. "You're not taking up too much of my time do, I've been having fun spending time with you today, I have been thinking about Holly a bit and how I can make up with her. As she has been feeling down lately."

Kara suggested that Lilly could contact the twins if she was worried about them. However, Lilly decided against doing so, trusting that her sisters were safe and behaving back at home. Moving closer to the register, Kara carefully considered her answer to Lilly's question.

"That explains the interest in the Book Store." Lilly replied. "Holly's not as easily bought over with gifts and sweets as Haley is. You'd probably be better off spending time with her over buying her things."

"I'm currently thinking on something like that." Kara says.

The pair placed their orders and picked them up before going to an empty table. Where they started to eat their lunches. "Anything you want to do after this?" Kara asked.

The girls ordered and purchased their lunches before heading to an empty table to continue their conversation. Kara had changed the topic to what would be done after lunch.

"Not really, no. What do you think we should do after this?" Lilly answered.

As the girl's ate, they talked about what to do after lunch was finished. "Want to window shop for a bit or just walk around before we end things at Cafe Kira?" Kara asked. They then finished their lunches and left the sandwich shop.

While finishing their lunch, Kara suggested some activities they could do before finishing up their outing together.

"Let's go window shopping for a bit. We can do both at once, then." Lilly replied.

With their next action decided and their lunch finished, the pair headed out of the shop and towards the City Centre to look around the shops there.

Out and about again the pair walked towards the center of town. Passing by various shops that sold any item one could ever ask for. They had passed a few clothing stores and Kara looked at the clothes in the windows. She was looking for just anything that might catch her eye or something that would look could on Lilly if they ever did this sort of date again.

Making their way through the streets, Kara looked in various shop windows to peruse whatever wares the establishment was selling. They passed by a couple of clothing stores as well in which Kara spent a little more time looking for things which might suit Lilly.

Try as she might, Kara only found clothing for either mature women or young children advertised in the shop windows. However, something was niggling at the back of her mind which dissuaded her from pressing for further options. Knowing full well that Lilly and her Sisters came from an Affluent family, it wouldn't be well received to try and buy their affection with trinkets and clothing as they could easily afford that themselves. As Lilly had reminded Kara in regards to Holly, it would be wiser to treat them well and get to know them as a person rather than attempt to buy her way into their hearts. Considering Lilly purchased all her own food and drink this outing, this further cemented the ideal that material gain is not going to improve their view of Kara.

Kara found nothing of value in her search and just kept. Walking along with Lilly making small talk about this and that. So, giving up in her search Kara went on to ask Lilly a question. "Would you like to do this again sometime?"

Having no luck with her clothing search, Kara gave up on it and just passed the time while walking by talking to Lilly about general things. Concluding her general chat with Lilly, Kara asked if she'd want to do it again some time.

"It made for a nice, relaxing change of pace, so I wouldn't mind. Just be sure to treat the girls every once in a while, as well, as you know how jealous they can get."

They were a short distance away from Cafe Kira. "I'll make sure to try," Kara answered she knew she wanted try something similar with both Holly and Haley. But first needed to find the right time and place to even attempt that sort of thing.

They soon arrived there a few minutes later. "Would you like to go inside?"

The walk around town ended outside of Cafe Kira. Not even looking through the windows of the Cafe, it was clear that it was busy like normal from just the muffled sounds of conversation and ambient music which penetrated through the door of the Cafe.

Kara offered for the pair to go inside to which Lilly agreed, however she wasn't sure if there would be any available tables with how it sounded from outside. Regardless, the two tried their luck and headed into the Cafe. As usual, there were staff members on door duty, with today's pairing being a Purple Apron and a Pink Apron. Kara didn't know either of them personally, but did see them working at the Cafe before.

By pure luck there was a couple of tables free, but they wouldn't remain that way for long. Nearly every other table in the cafe, including the VIP ones around the edges, were full of customers and staff members going about their business. As it was a training day, a good number of tables were filled by Students from the local schools just to hang out and chat on their day off. With no uniforms present, Kara couldn't exactly place who was from which school at first glance. If she listened in to conversations, she might be able to pick up on factors which could pin down which students went to which school.

Claiming one of the few free tables, Kara and Lilly were left waiting for a worker to serve them.

Once they arrived at Cafe Kira, the found that it was quite busy. Kara saw who was on door duty that being a Purple and Pink Apron. She didn't know who they were but did wave to them as she entered. By pure luck they were able to find a free table, seeing that just basically every table was filled with students.

Kara listened to a little bit of what was said. As she and Lilly waited for someone to come serve them.

During her wait, Kara managed to secretly listen in to a conversation between two students on a table behind her. A quick cursory glance at the source of the conversation, disguised by a feigned search for a staff member, revealed that the students were around the same age as herself. The talk between them appeared to be about a particular student a couple of years younger than them which one of the student's sibling was in the same class as.

"You know that girl in my sister's class? The one that's always present before even her teacher arrives at school?"

"I think you've mentioned her before, haven't you? 'Lia', or something?"

"Yeah, that's her. Apparently, she's been skipping out on P.E lessons lately with Doctor's notes. Nobody knows why, but the teachers seem to accept whatever's on them."

"I never pegged her as the type to cut class. What's she like during the other lessons?"

"Sis keeps saying she looks tired and, even though it's so hot out, she never removes her blazer, even in the classes that she's in front of a window in!"

"That's odd...I mean, she's pretty cute and all, but lack of sleep won't do her any good. As for the blazer thing..."

The noise of the cafe overpowered the rest of the conversation, but something strange did happen shortly after they were zoned out by the rest of the hustle and bustle. Despite the noise, Kara faintly heard something indistinct and heavily muffled.

"...'Because you're cute'. That's the reason they give..."

It was too muffled to clearly make out who'd said it, and it most certainly didn't fit with any of the other conversations in the Cafe. In fact, it sounded like it was said over a static laced line in a poor reception area on an old phone or radio. Gender of the speaker was impossible to discern due to how distorted it sounded. Even though it was weird and severely out of place, Kara felt like it was a... memory? resurfacing. There was some unusual feeling of familiarity with the distorted speaker, as if the events may have happened once before.

Breaking her chain of thought over the strange happenings, Kara and Lilly were approached by a Cafe Worker and their orders for food and drinks were taken and the server went off to fulfil them.

"Are you really that much of a workaholic that you'd come here on your day off?" Lilly teased Kara with a slight smile. "Or are you here to see those little ones you're so close to?"

As they waited Kara listened to one of the groups chatting about a fellow student. Kara couldn't help but wonder just who this student could be. But the rest of the chat was overtaken by other people talking. Shortly after Kara heard a voice but she didn't know who had said it. Kara tried to think of just who could had said those words it felt familiar to her.

A cafe worker took their orders for food and drinks. Then Lilly spoke up with a light teasing about coming here.

"Would it be so bad if I were to say Hi to them, I find it fun to work with the little ones." Kara said. She blushed a tad as it couldn't be helped those little ones Kara had taken a liking too in more ways than one.

Kara puzzled over the strange thing she heard until a worker came to take her order. Pushing aside the unusual occurrence, Kara countered Lilly's teasing with a (partially) honest explanation.

"Go say hello to them if you really want to. We'll probably be waiting a bit for our order, anyway." Lilly suggested. "I'll make sure your seat's safe from being taken."

Kara was given the go ahead to see the Young Cafe workers, whom she noticed over by the VIP section taking a nap with Kate. She still had a little while before her agreed meeting time with Mikan, around twenty minutes give or take a few.

Lilly said it was okay if Kara went to visit her little friends. "Other than that, I'm also meeting Mikan here as well is that okay with you?" Kara asked. When she had gotten Lilly's answer she got up and headed to the VIP Section. Where they were gathered with Kate. She soon reached them and said hello.

"Hello, everyone how is you all doing?"

Kara explained that she was meeting with Mikan a little later, to which Lilly reacted indifferently to. She didn't look upset or disappointed with Kara's other engagements and simply viewed them as what's normal. Kara used this opportunity to pay a visit to the Young Cafe workers over in the VIP section.

Kara greeted the gathered young ones and had a return of Tama and Mary hugging her in their usual form of greeting. Both of them were likely not on duty today either as they were dressed in regular clothes. Kate also didn't look like she was on duty, so the small group spent some time together engaging in idle conversation while the little ones squeezed in on the sofa between them. There were a handful of on-duty little ones for the other Apron colors relaxing in the VIP area, likely on their break.

Kara hugged both Tama and Mary back then sat down. On the sofa letting both young ones take turns sitting on Kara's lap. This she found really enjoyable and would have liked to have played with both girl's a little. She made small talk with the group even asking if they had seen her message, she had posted on the message board. Time seemed to fly by but soon Kara had to say her good byes to everyone. Before she left and returned to where Lilly was currently waiting.

Passing her time pleasantly with the little ones, Kara went through therapeutic relaxation via soft hugs and head pats. All her care seemed to melt away as she hugged, patted, snuggled and nuzzled with her little co-workers. She almost completely lost track of time while talking with them! Eventually the painful moment of temporary parting came as Kara realized that maybe she's spent a little too long with them. With a final hug to Tama and Mary, Kara returned to her other obligations.

On the way back to her table, Kara overheard some more conversations between customers and, this time, workers. The 'Topic of the Day' seemed to be relating to the 'rumor' of "Mysterious Disappearances" around the St Augusta area. Obviously, the darker sides of the internet have exploded with theories of Supernatural and Occult origin in regards to these events. She even got a couple of Web Addresses to check out later in regards to the more active forums for this discussion, which was mentioned to a worker by a member of a College Newspaper Club. While most were probably completely blown out of proportion rumor's, the Newspaper Club member proved to be a valuable resource of information, but that might be because they had Eve as their requested Worker. They seemed to know more details than anyone else.

"I happened to be passing by the area of town that the most recent Missing Person was said to have been when I heard the Inspectors talking about them as if they were a Victim to a murder, or something!"

"Oh, that's interesting. Did you remember what you heard?"

"How could I forget... They mentioned something about a Sigil that looked to be of 'Empowered' origin or something? Apparently, the other missing persons had something similar noted when their relatives last saw them."

"Were they all the same Sigil, or did each person have a different one?"

"Every Missing Person had a different Sigil on a different Location of their bodies. Some had them on their arms while others were said to have them in more...socially awkward areas. No two Sigils looked the same. Some were apparently like normal tattoos, like Planetary Symbols or Calligraphy Alphabet letters, and others were way out there and were immediately noted as being odd."

"Sounds to me like some crazy Gang or Cult has taken root and are abducting people."

"That's not where it gets weird. Get this: Some missing people have already been found!"

"Then why haven't the Police or Inspectors notified their families yet? Aren't they legally obligated to do so?"

"That might be difficult, as they were found dead. Some kind of ritual sacrifice that leaves no physical traces on the person's body. You know the Sigil I mentioned earlier, apparently the color was drained from it when they were found! Each Sigil before had a unique color, like the tattoo analogy I used earlier, yet when the bodies were found, the color was gone and the Sigil faded!"

"That's...not an ordinary bit of ink then..."

"You're right there. This is where the idea of it being of Supernatural or Occult origin comes in."

The conversation continued some more but it had now deviated to being like something out of an Occult Magazine, saying that the 'Sacrifices' are branded in order to revive some 'Daemon' or 'Devil' or something, and that when their life force is taken, the Sigil feeds the creature and hastens its revival. Maybe something like those beings could glean whether it's true or false?

After hearing the disturbing conversation, Kara returned to her table and found that their orders had been delivered while she was gone.

After Kara had left her little friends behind, she was on her way. Back to Lilly when she overheard more conversations about the topic of the day. It was more news about the rumors going around town to the disappearances going around town. She then picked up on Eve talking with someone and listened for a tiny bit.

She wasn't sure as to what to make of it whether she should believe it or not. But it was something worth looking into more and Kara didn't want. Eve to know she had been listening to what was being said. This was something she'd need to talk with Kiki or Lilly about but now was not the time and place for such matters. Kara finally returned to Lilly and the two ate their orders.

Unsure of how to progress with the information she'd gained, Kara made a mental note to talk about it with someone more knowledgeable later. But, for now, she decided to push aside all her unease and return to the matter at hand, the conclusion of her outing with Lilly.

The two finished off their orders and spent the remainder of the time chatting.

After the meal was finished, they spent some more time chatting. She made sure the last few minutes with Lilly were enjoyable saying again how she enjoyed their time together. Even going as far as to kiss Lilly on the cheek. But finally, the time came were they had to go their separate ways and the girls bid each other farewell for now.

Kara got up from the table and went in search of Mikan.

Not long after Kara left Lilly alone Lilith arrived at the cafe and took a seat at one of the empty tables. Not far from where Kara and Lilly had been together.

The rest of the outing with Lilly was spent chatting away until eventually the time came for them to part ways for now so Kara could fulfil her other obligations with Mikan. Seeing Lilly off with a kiss on the cheek, Kara said her goodbyes and went in search of Mikan.

A cursory search of the Cafe resulted in no Mikan being present. However, Kara still did have a few minutes to spare before 3:30pm came about, but only enough time for a short break or stop somewhere.

Kara was unable to find Mikan at present, with a few minutes to spare. Kara went in search of Annmarie to just stop by and say 'hi'. Before going and finding herself another empty table where she could sit and wait for Mikan to show up. Once she found one, she took a seat and opened up her phone to check her PM messages.

Lilith for a short time watched Lilly for a short time. She orders something to eat and drink from a Teal Apron. It wasn't long before she took out her phone and started to text someone while still keeping tabs on Lilly.

In the short time before Mikan arrived, Kara went off to check in on Annmarie. First, she checked the VIP area to see if she was among the Young Worker on break, but didn't find her there. Heading over to the Purple Section, Kara managed to find Annmarie currently seated with some customers. As Annmarie was on duty, Kara kept her check-in brief and quickly went in search of another table to sit at with Mikan.

The time spent in search of Annmarie was enough for Mikan to arrive, find where Kara was sitting and join her for whatever plans they had together.

Kara found Annmarie in the purple section with some customers. Seeing as how she was on duty, Kara said a brief hello and patted the girl's soft head of hair. Before leaving and finding another table. Mikan soon arrived and found where Kara was sitting and then came over to join her.

"I'm glad that you came how was your day?" Kara asked.

When she was content that Annmarie was doing okay, Kara found a free table and waited for Mikan to arrive, to which she did shortly afterwards. Kara greeted the person she'd requested to meet and, in her usual manner, checked out her clothing. Whatever schoolwork Mikan was helping Rya out with evidently wasn't anything too physically active. The fact that she had a casual peach colored blouse and a black denim mini-skirt on attested to this. Such clothing wouldn't be easy to move around in.

"As good as it can be doing schoolwork." Mikan responded to Kara's question. "How was yours?"

"It was rather enjoyable was able to enjoy the first half of the day with Lilly." Kara responded back.

Seeing as how they were both alone and not having to deal with Rya. Being around them, Kara thought of trying to find out a little more about Mikan that is getting to know her. Learning more about her then she already knew. "How's your dance classes coming along?" at that time Kara did check out Mikan's clothing. What she wore didn't look half bad on her.

With no Rya in sight, Kara took this chance to get to know Mikan better. After all, in the previous World, Kara had only met Mikan on the day in which she made the jump back to an earlier time, so she had no chance to learn anything about her aside from the quick look through her Student Record when it was dropped.

Diving straight to the point, Kara bought up the one thing Mikan wasn't too keen on, that being how her Dance classes are going.

"In class I do really well, but as soon as I get on the stage everything just freezes up and won't listen to me." Mikan admitted, slightly dejected from her own lack of performing capabilities. "I've tried all the Self-Help stuff that's on the internet, but it only makes matters worse. I mean, imagining total strangers in their underwear?! Just who thought that up?" A blush began to creep over Mikan's face as she recalled the previously mentioned self-help idea.

Mikan appeared to lack the self confidence in her own performing capabilities. "Could it be that you've got stage fright?" Kara asked. She got the feeling that Mikan didn't like this but Kara wasn't sure how she could offer to help her out. If she didn't know that much about what was causing Mikan's fear.

"Stop scaring yourself with thoughts about what might go wrong. Instead, focus your attention on thoughts and images that are calming and reassuring. Or try to refuse to think thoughts that create self-doubt and low confidence." Kara suggested.

She didn't want try and upset Mikan but was just trying to help. At Mikan mentioning people in their underwear Kara pictured Mikan in hers. A blush creeped over Kara's face at that very thought.

"I hope I'm not upsetting you with talking about this but I'd like to help out if I can."

Kara attempted to bolster Mikan's ability to perform on stage by giving a pep talk.

"My mind just goes blank every time I get on the stage in front of people." Mikan responded. "If I could think, I doubt it'll be anything good."

It appeared that Mikan's aversion to performing on stage wasn't going to be remedied with just words. Kara would have to get much closer to her to properly aid Mikan with her stage fright.

"It's not like I even need to be on stage for what I want to do, so I don't know why I'm still made to go on it."

"What is it that you want to do?" Kara asked.

Even with her prep talk it didn't seem to really have worked that well. Most likely there was a bigger problem buried somewhere. She didn't want to give up on helping Mikan out Kara then went forward and suggested an idea.

"Could I see you dance sometime?"

Perhaps watching Mikan dance might help in learning about how to help Mikan out with her problem.

Realizing that talking alone wouldn't help, Kara asked about Mikan's ambitions and whether she could watch her dance.

"I-I'm sorry, but I can't tell you that." Mikan answered hastily. "And, sorry, but I'd prefer it if I could practice alone or with Rya."

Evidently, Mikan still wasn't completely comfortable around Kara. It came as no surprise as she'd only just met her earlier that week. Kara would have to get closer to Mikan before she'd be willing to do anything like that.

Mikan didn't wish to tell Kara her ambitions and didn't want her to see her dance. Kara wanted to press the matter and find out why not. But picked not to do so and dropped the subject.

"So, what do you like to do in your free time?" Kara asked.

A pink apron came up to them and took Mikan's order but Kara. Didn't ask for anything since she had just ate.

Kara wanted to press Mikan's reluctance further, but decided to not risk upsetting her. A Pink Apron came around to take orders, to which Mikan ordered just a drink, before Kara continued the conversation along a more generic route.

"I tend to practice for things when I'm not doing anything else." Mikan answered. "Rya's normally the one who drags me around to places, like shopping or socializing with others. It's not because I'm antisocial or anything, it's just that I'm not as...um...'conversational' as Rya is."

"Maybe you're a little shy around others when Rya isn't around." Kara replied. She wasn't sure if that was true or not but things didn't seem to be going well. With Mikan at this time she wished the girl would open up a little more. But of course, that was going to take some time and effort on Kara's part.

"How do you enjoy the Cafe?"

Kara deduced that Mikan might be too shy for most things when Rya's not with her. It was an understandable assumption, to which Mikan confirmed.

"That's probably the case." Mikan agreed. "Sounds a little weird, doesn't it? That I'm too nervous to do things without someone else with me."

Kara continued the basic questioning by asking Mikan about how she likes the Cafe.

"The Staff here are all nice and friendly, as well as understanding with how they treat the customers. The sweets are nice and freshly made each day. Plus, the atmosphere is much more welcoming than most Cafes in the area."

"That doesn't sound weird at all it'll just take time until. You're used to doing things on your own." Kara answered.

Mikan spoke on how she liked the Cafe.

"That's true everyone is nice and friendly here, I've become friends with several of them already. It's nice to have a place where one can spend their time and enjoy themselves."

"The little ones here are cute as well. They always try their best to keep up with the older Staff Members and also have quite a large following of their own on the App. One thing I am a little concerned about is why they have such young people working in a place like this. Shouldn't they be out playing with their friends rather than working?"

Mikan's concerns definitely held some ground, considering no other businesses, aside from Magazine companies and the Entertainment Industry, employs children, and even those tend to not employ them so young unless it's a family business. Even though she was concerned for the young Cafe Workers, she still looked as 'cute-struck' as the other customers did when talking about them.

"I agree with you there." Kara agreed at the thought of several of the little ones being cute. "That I'm not really sure about I had never given it much thought before." Mikan had brought up a good point. There was a short quiet time between them as the pink apron returned an brought Mikan her order.

"Would you ever want to work here, I'm sure the little ones. Would enjoy having you around and Rya would surely enjoy it as well?" Kara asked.

After having Mikan's order delivered, Kara asked if she ever considered working at the Cafe.

"I don't really think I'm suited to working here." Mikan answered. "I'm not great at talking to people I don't really know, and even worse talking to people older than me. Plus, I don't really have any defining characteristics. I'm happy just being another customer."

While Mikan declined the option, there was some hint that she might be convinced to join if there was some other reason for her being there, and if she had more than one person to turn to should she need it. As things stood at present, it was incredibly unlikely that Mikan would consider joining the Kira Staff.

"If you ever change your mind just let me know." Kara said. She felt a bit down at Mikan declining the option. It was just hard sitting here trying to get to know her let alone talk with her. In a way it felt like Kara was talking with Holly. They did share similar things both girls' being shy and all.

"Is there anything you'd like to ask me?"

Kara was a little disheartened by Mikan's decline for joining the Cafe staff. Instead of asking Mikan another question, Kara opened up the questioning to Mikan.

"There is one thing I'm curious about, but it might just be me being strange again." Mikan responded. She considered her question for a short while before asking it. "You seem a little...how can I put this...'different' from others. I can't quite put my finger on why, but you're not the only one I've felt is a little unique. Those girls you were with, your sisters I think, I felt the same way about them. Plus, the Assistant Manager here, while a nice girl, also seems different from most. Sorry I can't really explain it better, but is there anything you, and those other girls, can do that normal people can't?"

Mikan voiced a rather interesting question which caught Kara by surprise.

"I will admit that my sister and I are 'different' from others." Kara answered. She wasn't quite sure on how to fully answer Mikan's question. The girl seemed to feel something was different about them. She was even able to tell that something was different about Kiki.

"To answer your question truthfully there are things that we can do that other can't." Kara took a deep breath and placed her hand upon the table. She closed her eyes for a brief moment before a small gentle gust of wind blew from her open palm at Mikan.

Mikan's question for Kara was met with no resistance as Kara began to explain, albeit vaguely, that Mikan's suspicions were not unfounded.

"Really?" Mikan replied, sounding more surprised at the open answer rather than the explanation given. Kara punctuated her statement with a small gust of wind over Mikan. They weren't near any doors or vents and nobody passed by them quickly, so the gust should not have happened in Mikan's logic. "Wait...what?"

The demonstration only served to confuse Mikan further.

"You mean...I wasn't being strange, and that you can actually do things others can't?"

Mikan's suspicions were true while she knew Kara could do things. Kara wasn't ready to admit that the others could do things too. She needed to handle this slowly to get Mikan used to the fact that there were other people who were different.

"Yes, I can actually do things others can't that gust of wind you just felt. Was cast by me for I have the power to control the very wind itself. Think of it as a sort of magic if you it will make things easier to understand." Kara replied.

She let Mikan think this over.

"I know this is confusing to you, but if you'd like I'd be willing to show you more. That is if you want to see more some time?"

Kara explained that the mysterious wind wasn't a natural one, but one formed from her 'Powers'.

"Magic? Like that stuff in videogames?" Mikan questioned, processing this new information that she'd never expected. "It's not limited to just wind, is it? Maybe..."

This might just be the thing that Mikan was looking for. If it truly wasn't limited to just the Natural Elements of the world, then that might be a part of it as well.

"There's something else I want to ask. But first..." Mikan picked up the powder sugar dispenser on the Cafe table and started to get up from her seat. "Is there anywhere we can go where we won't be seen by others?"

"Sort of like that, it's not limited to wind, others like me can use fire, water and earth magic. Light magic and Dark magic can also be used there's a lot of different types out there." Kara tried to explain.

Mikan seemed quite interested in this sort of thing.

Kara watched as Mikan picked up the sugar dispenser then asked. If there was anywhere, they could go without being seen by others. "We can go out back behind the cafe there's a small parking lot back there which isn't really used much."

Kara got up from the table and making sure Mikan was following led her to that spot.

Kara explained that it wasn't limited to just elements but, instead, a variety of different powers. Thankfully, she also knew of a secluded spot which they could use for whatever she was planning.

"Okay, lead the way, please." Mikan requested as she kept hold of the sugar dispenser and took it with her out into the parking lot.

Once outside, Mikan cautiously looked around in case anyone was passing by. For now, they were well hidden.

"Please don't freak out, but..." Mikan requested of Kara before dispensing some of the sugar into her hand. She then proceeded to throw the powder at her own face. The introduction of small foreign particles to her nose caused Mikan to sneeze. What followed next was...

A strange glow came over Mikan shortly after she sneezed. It covered her entire body until she was nothing more than a white silhouette of herself. Her body then began to shrink and morph as her clothes fell off her onto the floor of the parking lot. Soon enough, Mikan was nowhere to be seen and all that remained were her clothes on the floor with a small lump in them as if something was underneath them, and the sugar dispenser lying haphazardly on the mound of clothing.

Her clothes began to move around slightly like something was trying to break out from under them. Through the collar of her blouse peeked a small brown and white kitten's head. It looked up at Kara and then mewed at her as if in recognition. It then hopped out of the blouse and nuzzled its face in the spilled sugar, causing the kitten to sneeze as well. Much like before, the kitten was engulfed in a strange white light before morphing back into Mikan. Due to having her clothes fall off her before, Mikan was now left naked with a deep blush on her face. She quickly grabbed her clothes and hurriedly dressed herself in at least her underwear and blouse for now, yet the blush never left her face.

"So, you see, every time I sneeze, I turn into a cat. Could that be a power like yours? Also...please forget about seeing me naked. That always happens as well."

The pair arrived in the secluded parking lot behind the Cafe. There were a few old cars parked there which were covered in dust. It didn't look like this place was very much used but Kara knew of other places that could be used if they needed to move location. "So, what is it you want to show me?" Kara asked.

Mikan then took some sugar and tossed it into her face. Kara found this strange as Mikan then sneezed followed by a strange glow. Mikan had vanished but all that remained behind were her clothes in a small lump on the ground.

"Mikan?"

The clothes started to move slightly and Kara saw a brown and white kittens head. Looking up at her that mewed. Kara was confused was this small kitten really Mikan. Who once sneezing again changed back into her real self. Though she was left naked and had a blush on her face. Kara couldn't help but look upon her nakedness and blushed as well, vague thoughts of the fantasy she had of Mikan flashed through her mind briefly. Mikan then dressed back in her underwear and blouse.

"I believe so, I haven't really seen anyone who can change into an animal before," Kara said. What Kara did next was show Mikan a little bit more of what she could do with her own wind powers.

The wind started to pick up a little around them blowing a little stronger now. That caused both Kara's jacket and Mikan's blouse to blow gently in the breeze. Kara followed up by creating a small sphere of wind magic before her. Then shot it gently across the ground where it blew apart in a small tornado.

"This is a little more of what I can do, it took a lot of training for me to learn to control. My wind-based powers the way I do now it was a lot of hard work. If you'd like I could train you in trying to better control this power of yours?"

Kara was, at first, very confused with what went down until she realized that transforming into a cat was likely the Power Mikan wanted to show her. When Mikan transformed back, Kara was reminded of the fantasies she'd had about her before. Strangely, Kara's Fantasy Mikan wasn't much different from the real Mikan. Mikan's naked body still looked very enticing and erotic and Kara remembered how she'd seen Cat-Cosplay Mikan wet herself. How would Real Mikan look in that situation, especially while naked...? Now was probably not the time for such thoughts.

Making do with just her underwear and blouse for now, Mikan explained to Kara the nature behind her sudden transformation and Kara offered to help teach her how to control it. Mikan's eyes lit up in joy at this prospect.

"Please, please teach me how to control this!" Mikan practically begged Kara. "I'm always worried about whether it'll happen while I'm at school or out with Rya, and how they'd all react to seeing a kitten where I was."

Kara demonstrated her power some more by creating a small tornado of wind, which Mikan had to hold down the bottom of her blouse to not have it fly up and show off her underwear. When the demonstration was over, Mikan quickly put on the rest of her clothes and collected the sugar dispenser from where it was left.

"Let's go back inside before anyone starts to get suspicious."

Kara had wanted to think more upon the fantasies she had on Mikan. But now wasn't the very best time for such thoughts. Yet even as she learned the nature behind Mikan's sudden transformation. Kara enjoyed seeing, this new side of Mikan seeing her in just her underwear and blouse was rather cute.

When offered up with the chance to learn how to control. Her new-found power Mikan pretty much begged Kara to teach her. "I'll do what I can to help you out, but first I need to learn a few things about your power before. I can come up with the best method on how to help you out." Kara tells her.

"For starters it would be best if you learned how to overcome that sneezing problem of yours." Kara then had shown Mikan a small amount of her power. While it had been a demonstration. Kara would have liked to have seen Mikan's underwear. Who went about finishing redressing as they started to head back inside.

"How long have you had this ability?" Kara asked.

They arrived back inside and took their old table.

"I think we should find another place, where I can train you in private. That way we can go forward and not have to worry about others discovering this side of you. Do you know of the Abandoned factory near the Marina we can meet there to train unless you have another place in mind?"

Kara agreed to helping train Mikan under the condition that she learned more about the Power before deciding on any course of action to take for training to ensure that the most effective method is used. After Kara's demonstration of her power, and Mikan fully dressing, the pair started to head back into the Cafe to the table they were at before. On the way in, Kara asked how long Mikan had had her Power for.

"I can't say for certain, but I think at least a Month or so? I only really noticed it when I had a cold and was stuck at home and suddenly turned into a cat after sneezing. Thankfully, having a cold made it easier to change back into a human again." Mikan explained.

Upon returning to their table, Kara offered an idea for a place they could help train Mikan's powers.

"I don't really like the sound of an old factory being a training ground. Isn't there anywhere safer which could be used?"

Kara learned just how long Mikan had her power for. Along with just how she noticed it that being when she had a cold.

"That's not a very long time." Kara answered.

Kara began to try and think on just how Mikan had gotten her power. Kara had gotten both her Wind and Dark Powers from her parents at a younger age. Her crystal powers had only come recently with the pact made with Erys.

"What were your thoughts and feelings at the time when you first changed?"

Mikan didn't like Kara's idea of used the old factory.

"We can use the Sera Manor, that's where I train with my sisters from time to time. Or the training grounds out by my school?"

Kara commented about the fact that Mikan hadn't had her powers for long at all and asked her what where her thoughts and feelings at the time of Mikan's power activating.

"Huh? I guess I was feeling quite tired and a little down due to the illness, and my thoughts were probably on trying to get rid of it as soon as I could so I could go back to school and not miss out on much." Mikan explained, unsure of how that might have impacted her gaining this Ability. "I think I was watching some animal shows on TV at the time, but I'm not sure what that might have to do with actually turning into an animal."

Upon Mikan's reluctance to train in an Abandoned Factory, Kara offered up the opportunity to train at either the Sera Manor or in the School's training grounds.

"I think it'd be a little weird if I kept going to your school when I'm not a student there. If it's not too much trouble on the rest of your family, I think it'll be better to train in the Manor grounds. Only problem is I don't know where they are."

"I'm just trying to learn more on how this whole thing started for you." Kara answered. She listened to the rest of what Mikan had to say to her.

"There's always the chance that the animal show could have been the trigger. That awakened your power to turn into an animal, or perhaps it awakened on its own. Kara still wasn't sure on how to full grasp how Mikan could have gotten her power.

"The Manor would be a better place, I can show you where they are. But I'd also need to talk with my sisters to see if it's okay for you to train there." Kara explained.

Kara offered some potential explanations for how Mikan could have awakened to her Power. Neither of the two knew exactly how it might have happened, but there's bound to be someone, somewhere, who knows more about Empowered Abilities than them.

"Seems odd that a TV show could trigger something so...unusual." Mikan answered. "How'd you get yours? Was it as sudden and as random as I got mine?"

Kara then went on to explain about the training arrangements, informing Mikan than she'd have to check with the other Sera's before deciding anything.

"Just in case they're not okay with it, do you have any other places in mind? I wouldn't want to inconvenience anyone too much."

"I got mine when I was younger, I got my wind-based powers from my father. Who trained me on how to use them." Kara stated.

Mikan then spoke on the meeting places.

"I have a couple of other places in mind, there's a nice area in the park that's well hidden. We can use that place if needed."

Kara explained how she got her Powers.

"It's good that you had someone to train you with them as quickly as possible. Turning into a cat can't really hurt anyone, but not knowing about being able to control Wind could be dangerous if it's used by accident." Mikan replied.

Upon Mikan asking about alternative training areas, Kara informed her that there's a secret place in the Park she could go to.

"I'd rather it not be too public, for reason's you've already seen. It's bad enough my clothes come off when it happens."

"My training was rather hard and bad my father pushed me to my limits. Also, he was a harsh teacher who would 'beat' me when I didn't do good enough." Kara stated.

Kara wanted to keep Mikan's training to herself. As she wanted to see Mikan's own nakedness as rewards for training her.

"We will try the Manor first I'll talk to the others tonight. About it and let you know what happens next."

Kara responded by saying that her training was anything but good. Having the truth bomb suddenly dropped left Mikan a little confused and speechless for a moment.

"What about your sisters? Were they put through all this as well?" Mikan questioned, sounding slightly apprehensive about a home visit now. She likely presumed that the Sera's were Kara's Blood Relatives, or some very close relation.

Mikan appeared confused and speechless after what Kara told her.

"I don't know what their training was like, as my sisters are not my real sisters. More like adopted sisters as I was adopted into the Sera family several months ago." Kara explained.

"My real family is Ravenclaw."

Kara's elaboration that she was no longer living with an abusive parent visibly put Mikan a little more at ease.

"It's good that you no longer have to live like that. No one should have to put up with such a horrible thing like being beaten by their parents. It was nice of the Sera's to take you in." Mikan replied.

"It's been a lot to take in I've never had sisters before. So, it's hard at times as I'm not sure how best to act." Kara tried to explain.

Even with having several sisters for only a few months' time. It was still hard for Kara too be sister to everyone when she still felt at times just like a friend.

"I guess it might feel kind of hard to fit in, considering they've known each other for much longer than you've known them. Just take it slow and steady and eventually I'm sure you'll feel closer."

Mikan's advice sounded like it might work, but it would be hard to tell without putting it into practice.

"That and there's other things that make it hard as well, but I'll take your advice and try it out."

Kara planned to try out what Mikan had said. They spent the rest of their time together small-talking about this and that. Until it was time for both girls to go their different ways before they parted Kara asked Mikan if they could do something like this again sometime.

Kara took Mikan's advice on board. The pair then spent the remainder of their time together just chatting about things, though most of Mikan's questions were in regards to her newly discovered powers. When their conversation concluded, Kara asked if Mikan wanted to do something like this again at a later time.

Once Mikan gave her answer, the pair went their separate ways for the day after paying for their Drinks and Snacks. Kara said goodbye to the Little Ones on duty and left the cafe to go about her next planned event.

Kara answered the questions that Mikan had to the best of her ability. The conversation soon came to an end and both girls agreed on doing this again sometime. But would need to decide on a place when the time came. They soon went their separate ways and Kara said goodbye to the Little Ones before heading home.

She arrived home a short time later and first stopped by her room. She dropped off her belongings. Then headed towards the twin's room to meet up with Haley, who she had agreed to help out earlier that day.

After knocking on the door Kara let them know she was there.

"It's me may I come in?"

After spending some time with Mikan, Kara felt much closer to her and believed that Mikan was starting to open up a little, but it would still be a while before she fully opened up to Kara. Although Mikan didn't voice it, Kara felt like Mikan was willing to spend time with her in different ways rather than just meeting up at the Cafe. Maybe she could spend a day out with her in the future, like she'd done with Lilly earlier today?

These thoughts occupied Kara's mind as she headed home to spend some time with Haley. Putting her things away in her room, Kara then went to the Twins' bedroom and knocked on the door. Haley was the one who answered the door. She could likely pick up the scent of the Cafe on Kara if the slightly pouty look she gave her was to be trusted.

"Eating cake and ice cream without me." Haley scolded Kara in a childish manner.

The small girl stepped out of her room to give Kara a 'Welcome Home' hug.

"Did you have fun today with Big Sis?"

Kara returned the 'welcome home' hug. "We can all the cake and ice cream at a later time." Kara told Haley. The small girl stepped back into her room and Kara followed her inside. Before taking a seat upon the floor near the twin's bed.

"I did, it was very fun and welcoming I got to see a side of Lilly I haven't seen very often. How about you did you have fun today?" Kara asked. She looked around the room to see if Holly was around. "Would you like to create the checklist that we talked about earlier this morning or would you like to do something else together for a bit?"

Kara informed Haley that they can have cake and ice cream together at another time.

"I'm holding you to that, you know?" Haley responded. "No backing out."

The pair then headed into the Twins' bedroom to discuss things further. Kara explained, in response to Haley's question, that she did have fun today. This prompted Kara to ask the same thing back to Haley.

"Homework's anything but fun." Haley answered. "I guess the games we played after it were fun, though."

Kara looked around the bedroom to see if Holly was present but the other Twin was not there. She was likely somewhere else in the house. After looking for Holly, Kara asked Haley if she wanted to start the checklist planning now.

"Guess it's got to be done." Haley sighed. "I want to stop it as soon as I can. It's not good for me to be doing it at my age."

"I'll treat you to as much of it as you want, just don't try and get sick." Kara warned.

Haley turned out to have a little fun even though homework was anything but fun. After searching for Holly who appeared not to be there. Kara had asked to if Haley wanted to get the checklist started.

"With time and practice this will come to an end, but first we have to take it a step at a time." Kara went over to the twin's desk and took out a piece of paper. Along with a couple of pens upon the paper she wrote 'Haley's checklist'. Followed by placing a few numbers down the length of the paper.

"We've got to brainstorm here, what do you think would be the most important. First step you'd need to take in overcoming this problem?"

The pair started on Haley's checklist. Kara prepared the base outline of the checklist and asked Haley for her input on what would be the most important step for it. Naturally, the most obvious answer came first.

"Go pee before bed. What else would it be?" Haley answered matter of factly.

With the obvious answer out of the way, now came the more situational ones which self-help websites didn't really go into much detail about.

"That is a major one but there are also other things. That should help out with this one when you think about it." Kara says.

She then wrote down one idea on the paper. 'Don't drink anything before bed.' "How about this idea?" Kara pointed to the one she had just wrote down.

Kara noted down another thing on the list which Haley hadn't thought about.

"That's not very clear, though I do know why you put it." Haley replied. "What kind of time should it start from? An hour before bed, or two hours?"

"How about no drinking any fluids before bed, that means any form of water, milk, juice, soda etc." Kara tried to explain.

She thought over what Haley then suggested.

"How about two hours before bed, what else sounds good to try out?"

The timescale for the 'no drinking before bed' was set to two hours before Haley's bedtime to give her body a chance to process the fluids and expel them before Haley went to sleep. The girls discussed other methods which could be used until eventually the list was filled up with things to try in order to help end Haley's dependence on padded protection while sleeping.

Pinning the list up to the door of Haley's wardrobe in the bedroom, Haley tried to commit as much of it to memory as possible before they were called down for dinner.

With the other methods being discussed the list was filled up. With things to try out they pinned the list to the door of Haley's wardrobe. Kara helped out by writing down the important ones on another piece of paper. Suggesting to Haley that she keep this one on her person unless she was sleeping. Using it as a means to help her commit it to memory even if she wasn't home to view the whole list itself.

With that out of the way Kara used this chance to ask Haley a question.

"The next time we have a day off from school, would you like to spend part of the day hanging out?" Kara asked.

A smaller list of only the most important steps was copied out and passed to Haley to help her remember what to do if she wasn't close to her bedroom list. It was suggested that she kept it on her at all times, but Haley was reluctant to take it out of the house due to the sensitivity of the issue.

When the list was put up, Kara asked Haley if she wanted to spend some time with her on their next day off.

"Unless it's a weekend, we've got no more holidays from School until the Summer one. You're busy this weekend with your workplace thing, so maybe next weekend?"

Haley wanted to know if Kara might be free the next weekend.

"I don't have anything planned so, we can hang out for a bit." Kara told her.

That gave Kara an idea of asking Holly the same thing spending some time together. She'd have to ask her a little later though.

Kara then let Haley know that she should just keep the smaller list. On her at home agreeing that it might be a bad idea of it was taken out of the house. Seeing as this was a private matter after all. Soon there was a knock on the door signaling it was time for dinner.

A plan was decided for the following weekend where Kara would spend time with Haley, events permitting. This also reminded Kara that she'd been forgetting someone else and would intend to make plans with them as well.

They were then called down for dinner and made their way to the dining room. The four girls were the only ones in the dining room, which prompted Kara to notice that Lilly had changed out of her earlier attire for more relaxing clothing.

Dinner time went by and soon enough everyone went off to do their own things for the evening.

Having spent the rest of the time with Haley the pair headed down for dinner. Kara noticed that Lilly had changed out of her clothing from earlier into a more relaxing style. Dinner went by and everyone went about their own things for the evening. Kara headed back to her room to get what she had bought for Holly had the bookstore. Followed by trying to find where she currently was after all. There was still time to be spent with her before everyone had to go to bed.

Following on from Dinner, Kara collected the purchase from the bookstore and went in search of Holly. She had seen Holly head into her Walk-In wardrobe. Kara could go in there and see if she could pull Holly aside for a moment. Holly had probably taken Haley in there with her to get everything ready for school alongside her.

Kara had seen Holly walk into her Walk-in wardrobe. She followed along but before she entered. She knocked on the door first letting the others know she was there. "Holly it's me are you free for a moment?" Kara asked. She then walked inside to see if Holly was truly there or not.

Kara decided to check the Walk-in wardrobe for any signs of Holly. Heading over to it, Kara knocked on the door upon arrival and asked if Holly was free. There was a muffled response from the inside of the room which couldn't quite be made out. The person in question was likely at the far back of the room.

As she had no confirmation or denial of Holly's presence in there, Kara opened the door and headed in. At first glance, all she could see were the numerous racks of clothing that were neatly split down the very center, parting the room in two so each sister got a side to themselves. At the far back of the room on the right-hand side from the door, there was some movement from the clothes rack there as if someone was sorting through it in search of something.

Kara only heard a muffled response to her question. She couldn't make out what was said back to her. After walking inside Kara noticed movement in the far back of the room. But looked from side to side. At the rows of clothes spread out for each sister she didn't linger on that long. She started forward towards whoever it was who appeared to be searching for something.

"Holly you in here?" Kara asked.

Kara was momentarily distracted by the racks of clothes in the room before remembering the reason she went in there. Heading towards where she'd seen the movement, Kara called out once more to discern whether the one she was looking for was in this room.

"I'm a little busy at the moment, but I can listen if there's something you want to say." Came a further response from the racks at the back of the room. Holly was definitely in the Walk-in wardrobe but was otherwise preoccupied with searching for something.

Holly appeared to busy at the moment.

"I was wondering if you wanted to spend a little time together before bed?" Kara asked.

She didn't head any further into the room.

Kara wanted to know if Holly wanted to spend some time with her before bed.

"I guess I could, but don't you have to get ready for tomorrow as well?" Holly responded. "Try not to leave everything to the last minute. Getting it done sooner is better than remembering it needs doing later."

Once more, Holly proved that she was a Little Sister in age alone. Her dedication to finishing up tasks before whittling time away on recreational things was not often seen in either of her blood-related sisters. She didn't sound averse to spending time with Kara, but neither did she sound as insistent as Haley often did.

"True, but I'd still like to be with you for a short while at least." Kara answered.

She waited enough Holly answered her back. Things looked to be even harder going out of her way to finally spend time Holly. But having things thrown around like do what needs to be done before doing fun things.

"You've spent lots of time with other people today. While that's nice of you and all, make sure you keep some time for yourself as well. Don't push yourself too hard for other people." Holly responded. "It'd be wrong of me to tell you what to do, but remember that you're important as well."

It was clear through her answer that Holly was more concerned for Kara's health than missing out on spending time with her.

"I can have time for myself some other time, but right now I want to be with others. Rather than being by myself." Kara explained. She knew Holly meant well and all but today wasn't a day where she wanted to be with everyone. Her own personal time didn't matter right now making the others happy and enjoying time with them. Was something Kara had aimed for today.

"I'll wait in your room until you are done searching for whatever it is, you're looking for."

Kara left Holly alone to finish her search and headed back into the main room. Alone for now Kara used this chance to try and speak to a certain spirit who most likely. Was watching the whole thing in secret.

"Remi, are you here I'd like to talk with you for a bit?"

Kara left Holly to what she was doing and waited in the Twins' Bedroom for her to finish. At present she was alone in the room. Believing the solitude to be the perfect chance to contact someone else, Kara called out to the Guardian Spirit that accompanied Holly.

No response came to Kara's request. Either Remi was ignoring her or she wasn't present in the bedroom.

Getting no answer from the troublesome spirit. Kara was left alone she walked around the room looking at the various things scattered about. Then took a seat upon Holly's bed and waited a little longer.

Left with nothing else to do as Remi was being difficult or elusive, Kara looked around the Twins' bedroom while she waited. While their bed had been made, the rest of the room was mostly a scattering of random objects like books or game cases, with Haley's side of the room being the most disorganized. Holly's side, on the other hand, was mostly in good order, except for a pile of books which had toppled. From the look of the still standing part of the pile, they were likely knocked rather than fell naturally.

Kara could have looked through the smaller wardrobes in the bedroom, but potentially decided against it as the risk of being discovered may have been high. As if to accentuate Kara's logical decision, the bedroom door opened and in came...Haley.

"Oh, what's up?" Haley greeted Kara. "Forget something from earlier?"

With one side of the room a mess and the other tidy. Kara was left with nothing really to do waiting on Holly was getting her nowhere. She wanted at least to do something with her but she didn't know how long this was going to take. The bedroom door opened and Haley walked inside.

"Just waiting on Holly, as I wanted to spend a little time with her but she's busy looking for something in your guys closet." Kara told Haley.

Kara now had the option to keep waiting for Holly or do something else with Haley.

Kara explained her reason for gracing the Twins' bedroom with her presence.

"Looking for...clothes?" Haley responded, looking a little confused over the actions of her Sister. Just that moment, realization finally dawned on her. "For that thingy tomorrow, right? I totally forgot about it!"

It wasn't unusual for Haley to forget things she deemed unimportant, so it likely came as no surprise that she'd forgotten the Sports Day practice.

"Think I'd better go and get my stuff together otherwise Holly won't stop pestering me to when she gets back. Must be boring just sitting on your lonesome like that, want to come with?"

"Maybe I'm not really sure I didn't go too far inside to really get a good look." Kara replied.

Haley finally figured out just what Holly had been searching for. While at the same time remembering just what tomorrow was.

"She started on me as well trying to remind me I should get things together. Before waiting until the last minute to do so." Haley then asked if Kara wanted to go with her as she got her own stuff together. She thought it over for while trying to decide if she should still wait on Holly or go with Haley.

"Let's go I don't know how long Holly will be and it's kind of lonely by myself."

Kara eventually decided to accompany Haley to the Walk-in wardrobe. The pair set out from the Twins' bedroom and across the hallway to the Wardrobe once more.

"Right, I need my Swimsuit, Polo Shirt, Shorts and maybe my Leotard in case we get Gymnastics practice." Haley mentally noted down a list of what she needed to look for. "Probably underwear as well if we've got Swimming early in the day."

Just from the list Haley recited, it was clear what might have been taking Holly so long to gather her clothes. Holly was known for preparing for any and all eventualities in case the need arose for a quick change in plans. In addition to that, they knew they'd be doing it alongside another school so embarrassing underwear was out of the question.

Once inside the Walk-in wardrobe, Haley headed over to the opposite side Kara had heard Holly from and proceeded to look through the mass of different outfits hanging on the racks.

Kara was once more back inside the Walk-in wardrobe. As Haley did a mental check list of the things she needed for the following day. Haley went searching through her clothes and Kara upon hearing what Haley needed. Tried to help her out by looking through the mass of different outfits.

"Do, you remember where all your stuff is among all these clothes?" Kara asked.

Kara soon realized that Haley's side of the Wardrobe wasn't as neatly organized as Holly's. It looked like some attempt at organization was made, but that was quickly made disorganized moments later.

"I usually do know where things are, but the Maids tidy up this Wardrobe every week and I can never find anything after that." Haley explained. "I normally put clothes a wear a lot in a pile by the drawers over there, but the Maids move them and hang them up in... seasonal order I think?"

Kara opted to help Haley out with her search...

Haley's side of the Wardrobe wasn't as organized as Holly's side. Kara looked through several of the racks of clothes. Trying to find what Haley was looking for but had no such look in her own search. "Could what you're looking for be over by the drawers?" Kara asked. She started to move that way.

Kara looked through the masses of outfits Haley had in search of her P.E clothes for tomorrow. She didn't have much luck at first and suggested for Haley to check to see if her clothes pile was still by the drawers.

"Nope. Seems the Maids cleaned it up. They've got to be somewhere in this room."

A little more looking yielded some results! Kara managed to find Haley's polo shirt and shorts while Haley was able to find her leotard for gymnastics. All that remained was underwear and Haley's swimsuit. The underwear could probably be ignored until the following day, so the search for Haley's swimsuit commenced.

Kara was able to find some of what Haley needed. She handed them over to her and went about trying to find the pieces of what was needed. Kara looked around for Haley's swimsuit through all her clothes.

Collating up all the articles of clothing they'd found so far, Kara went off in search of Haley's swimsuit. The current section of the wardrobe she was in looked to be Spring/Autumn wear, so Kara headed over to the 'Summer' wear section of this side of the Wardrobe in search of the swimsuit.

Kara sifted around the various clothes strewn across the hanger and came up what she believed to be Haley's Swimsuit judging by how the material of the outfit felt. Pulling it out from its place on the hanger, Kara discovered that it was most definitely not a swimsuit. What she held in her hands looked to be a silky red nightdress. It was far too small to be Lilly's so it must have been Haley's. The nightdress had super thin straps and a ruffled section around the chest. Imagining this outfit on Haley would've created quite the image. It wasn't lewd, not one bit, and it was clearly designed for a child, yet the material was often used in adult's lingerie. Considering how thin it was, there was no wonder why it was placed in the 'Summer' section. She hadn't seen Haley ever wear it, but maybe...

Nonetheless, back to the search.

Eventually, the pair found the elusive swimsuit folded up in one of the clothing drawers near the back of the section. It was just around this time that Holly had also completed her gather list for the events of the following day. Holly's swimsuit was also the thing keeping her from finishing before, but Kara's lucky find of Haley's one prompted Holly to check the same location on her side of the Wardrobe.

While searching for the swimsuit Kara came across a red silky nightdress. Just looking at its Kara could tell it wasn't Lilly's size but why would. Haley choose to wear something like this in the first place. Just staring at it was starting to create an image of Haley wearing it. But Kara placed the outfit back on the clothing rack. Soon finding the swimsuit in the clothing drawer near the back of the section. Holly found hers in the same place as well with everything found Kara walked out of the Wardrobe.

She said farewell to the twins saying she needed to get her own. Things ready for the following day and headed back to her room. Once inside she looked through her own sections of clothes. Finding the various items, she needed but it took time since her clothes were much like Haley's all over the place. After finding them all she placed them to the side for tomorrow.

Seeing as how it had gotten later Kara changed into her own nightwear. Deciding on getting an early sleep since the following day would be a busy one. Climbing into bed Kara drifted off to sleep.

After finding the Swimsuits, Kara bid the twins goodbye as she went to get her own kit ready for the following day. It took her a short while to do so, considering that her wardrobe was just as messy as Haley's was. By the time she'd got her kit sorted, it was already nearing light's out. Rather than wait the last hour or so, Kara decided to have an early night. It was going to be a busy day the following morning, so she thought it best.

Sleep quickly came, potentially due to how packed full her day was, and Kara slept soundly until morning. While she slept, Kara felt her Bond Strengthen with Lilly, imbuing her with new power.
