Abhijeet was standing. At his side his mother was present and cid team was there.
His mother put his hand on his cheeks and said " Bhagwan ka lakh lakh shukar hai ki tu theek hai. Dekhna beta sab kuch thik ho jayega. "
Abhijeet was looking towards the other side.
Mother : Bete mere taraf dekh. Mai mai teri maa hu.
Abhijeet : Aap ?
Mother took his hand in her own hands and said " Ha beta. Mai ma hu. "
Abhijeet : Mai aapko nahi jaanta.
( pointing towards the lady ) Ye kaun hai ?
Mother : ( pleading ) Beta aisa mat keh.
Abhijeet still not looking towards his mother.
He was moving restlessly on his bed from the last few minutes. Finally he woke up and went inside kitchen. He took out a particular tablet from the medicines box and took it along with water.
Abhijeet : Uff ! Ye sapna.
At the same time his phone rang. He picked up the call. It was about a case that had been reported. He got ready and went to crime spot. It was almost 2 : 30 am at night and he was about to go home . He took out his car and started driving. While driving he found Tarika on road. He stopped the car near her.
Tarika : Abhijeet tum yaha ?
Abhijeet : Wo bas ghar ja raha tha. Aap yaha is waqt ?
Tarika : Laash check karne ke liye Dr. Salunkhe ne bulaya tha. Bas kaam karte karte waqt ka pata hi nahi chala.
Abhijeet : Ye dr sahab bhi na. Kitna kaam karvate hai aapse. Mai aapko ghar chod du ?
Tarika : Jee.
Tarika sat inside the car and Abhijeet continued driving.
Abhijeet : Aapki gadi kaha gayi ?
Tarika : Wo actually meri car kharab ho gayi hai. To use maine repair karne ke liye di hai.
Abhijeet : To aap lab kaise aayi ?
Tarika : Cab se.
Abhijeet : Tarika ji itni raat ko cab me ?
Pata hai na kitna khatarnak hota raat me travel karna.
Tarika : Abhijeet aap bhi na. Mai apni raksha khud kar sakti hu. Mai bhi cid ka hissa hu.
Abhijeet : Ye baat to aapki sahi hai. Isme na saari galati Dr. Sahab ki hai. Itni raat ko bulate hai kya aise ?
Tarika : Ab Isme salunkhe sir ki kya galati hai. Wo to humari duty hi aisi hai.
Abhijeet : Baat to aap thik keh rahi hai.
Abhijeet stopped the car and said " Ligiye aap ka ghar aa gaya. "
Tarika : Thanks. Andar nahi aaoge ?
Abhijeet : Nahi. Phir ghar bhi to jaana hai na aur phir subah bhi to jaana hai na bureau.
Tarika : To aisa karo aaj yahi par ruk jao.
Abhijeet : Mai yaha.
Tarika : Dekho abhi tumhe yaha se ghar jaane ke liye waqt lagega. Tum ghar jaoge kab phir kab so jaoge. Subah hone me abhi waqt hi kitna bacha hai. Isse behtar hai ki tum aaj raat yahi par ruk jao.
Abhijeet : Ab aap itna bol rahi hai to ruk hi jaata hu.
Tarika opened the door and both of them went inside. Tarika went inside her room whereas Abhijeet went to guest room. He was sitting there. After changing her clothes , she went inside guest room. She found him sitting on bed.
Tarika : Ye kya abhi tak soye nahi tum ?
Abhijeet : Wo . . . mai ye kapade
Tarika : Samjh gayi.
She went inside her room and came back to guest room having pair of clothes in her hand.
Abhijeet : Ye ..
Tarika : tumhare hi hai. Jab tum pichli baar aaye the tab yahi par reh gaye the.
Abhijeet : Oh !
Tarika : Ab ye lo. Jaldi se change kar lo aur so jao.
She went inside her room whereas Abhijeet went to change. After changing he went to bed for sleeping.
He was sleeping but his eyeballs were moving inside closed eyes. He was changing his side again and again. Finally he woke up.
Abhijeet : Phir se wahi sapna aur ye sar dard bhi.
He started pressing his head. He went inside kitchen to have a water. He was searching inside cabinets for tablets box. Just then he remembered that he was in Tarika ' s house. His head was paining a lot. He took a glass of water to calm down himself. He drank the water and went back to the guest room.
He laid down on the bed but the headache as well as the dream were not letting him sleep. He opened the windows of guest room and was standing near the window. He felt like someone came inside the room. He without turning " Kaun hai ? "
No voice came from backside. He turned and found Tarika there.
Abhijeet : Arey Tarika tum yaha ?
Tarika : Yahi sawal mai tumse pucho to ?
Abhijeet : Ahan sawal pahle maine pucha tha. To jawab pahle aap nahi dengi.
Tarika : Pahle tum.
Abhijeet : Pahle aap.
Tarika : Ab yahi kehte rahoge ya bologe bhi kuch.
A sudden shot in his head. His hands automatically went to his head. Tarika saw him. Abhijeet noticed that Tarika ' s eyes were on him. So he quickly removed hand from his head but Tarika ' s eyes were on him only and she noticed his hand on head before he could remove it.
Tarika sat beside him and said " Sar dard kar raha hai ? "
Abhijeet was already having hard time to control his pain but still he managed to say " Nahi to. "
Tarika : Tum jhoot bol sakte ho magar tumhari aankhe nahi.
Abhijeet : Matlab ?
Tarika : Ankhe dekhi hai apni dard se lal ho gayi hai aur car mai bhi tumhare ankhe dekh kar pata chal raha tha ki tumhari neend puri nahi hui.
Abhijeet left a sigh.
Abhijeet : Ha wo thoda sar dard kar raha hai.
Tarika : Ruko.
She went inside and brought a balm for him.
Abhijeet : Arey iski kya jarurat hai ? Bas ek pain killer.
Tarika : Tumhe pata hai na jyada pain killer nahi lene chahiye. Mujhe pata hai tumne isse pahle bhi pain killers liye hai.
Abhijeet : ( murmured ) Kitna acche se jaanti hai. Inke Doctor hone ka yahi ek disadvantage hai.
Tarika : Ye kya bol rahe ho tum ? Tum chalo aao. Bed par let jao.
Abhijeet : Iski jarurat kya hai ?
Tarika : Dekho Abhijeet abhi 3 : 30 baj rahe hai. Ab tum der lagaoge to 4 baj jayenge. Jab tak tum nahi so jaate tab tak mai bhi no soungi. Meri aankh jaldi nahi khuli mujhe lab me jaane me der hogi. Phir Dr. Salunkhe mujhe daantenge. Tum chahte ho Dr. Salunkhe mujhe daante ?
Abhijeet : Aap bhi na. Bikul Daya ki tarah baatein karne lag gayi hai.
Tarika : Ab tum sidhi tarah se baat nahi mante to yehi tarike ajmaane padte hai.
Ab let bhi jao.
Abhijeet laid down on bed.
Tarika : Ab aankhe band karo.
Abhijeet : Ye bhi kya baat hui ?
Tarika : Chup jaisa mai keh rahi hu waisa karo.
Abhijeet closed his eyes. Tarika started to apply on his forehead. He could feel her fingers on his head.
Abhijeet : Aap balm laga rahi hai ?
Tarika : bikul chup.
Abhijeet felt like his headache is reducing. He felt sleepy and within few moments he slept. In the meantime , Tarika closed the windows and sat beside him , pressing his forehand. Few minutes and she also slept in that position. It was only half an hour, when Abhijeet started changing his side. He started talking in sleep only " Maa. Aap meri maa ho. Maine aapko pehchan liya hai. Aap laut kar aa jayiye na maa. "
With his talking sound , Tarika woke up. She started patting his cheeks.
Tarika : Abhijeet kya hua ?
He still in the same trance said " Wo maa. Mujhe chod kar ja rahi hai. Maine unhe pehchan bhi liya phir bhi wo ja rahi hai. Aap rokiye na unhe. Aapke kehne par wo ruk jayengi. "
Tarika kept hand on his shoulder and hugged him. Both of them separated after a minute. Within a few minutes, he got the situation.
Abhijeet : Sorry. Tarika ji mere wajah se aap bhi disturb ho gayi.
Tarika : Mujhe disturb hua hai ya nahi ye mai decide karungi aur tum aapna ye sorry apne pass hi rakho.
Abhijeet : ( murmuring ) lagta hai naraz ho gayi.
He hold his ears and said " Galati ho gayi mujhse. Maaf kar digiye. "
Tarika kept looking towards him.
Abhijeet : Aap jo kahegi mai wahi karunga.
Tarika : Good.
She spread her hand on his hairs. He felt that all his tension and worries were gone. She stopped moving her hands in his hand.
Tarika : So jaye ?
Abhijeet laid back on bed. Tarika also remained in the half sitting position.
Abhijeet : Aap karte rahiye na. Ruk kyu gayi ?
Tarika got that he wanted her to ruffle his hairs. She took his one hand in her hand and with her other hand she started ruffling his hairs. Within few moments, he slept. This time with no nightmares were there. He was having a sound sleep.
After he slept , Tarika ' s eyes filled with tears. She could imagine how Abhijeet had spent nights like this.
Tarika : ( thinking ) Aaj pata chala ki is chere par jo muskaan hai uske peeche kitna dard chupa hua hai. Aaj bhi apni maa ki maut ki wajah wo hai iska guilt uske maan me hai. Kitne asani se sab kuch daba lete hai apne dard.
Bas ek cid ki duty hi hai jiske wajah se usne aapne aap ko sambhala hua hai.
Mai tumse waada karti hu mai tumhara humesha saath dungi. Tum par jo bhi musibat aaye sabse pahle use mujh se guzar jaana padega. Chahe mujhe iske liye kuch bhi kya na karna pade. Jab bhi tumhe meri jarurat hogi mai humesha tumhare saath rahungi.
She looked towards his calm face and said " Ab se tumhare jindagi me khushiyan hi hongi. "
She also slept beside him.
It was 10 am when Abhijeet woke up with a jiffy. He glanced at the clock and saw that it was already 10 am.
Abhijeet : Oh no ! 10 bas gaye. Aaj to khair nahi.
He started to do all his tasks fastly. After some time , Tarika came inside having a cup of coffee in her hands. She handed him a cup of coffee.
Abhijeet : Nahi Tarika ji iske liye waqt nahi hai. Already bohot late ho chuka hai.
Tarika : Shant ho jao. Maine Acp sir ko inform kar diya hai ki aaj tum late aane wale ho.
Abhijeet : Oh !
Tarika : Isliye pahle tum ye coffee lo.
Abhijeet took the cup of coffee and started sipping it.
Abhijeet : Aap ko bhi to lab jaana hai.
Tarika : Maine bhi Salunkhe sir ko bol diya hai ki mai aaj late aungi.
Abhijeet was done with coffee.
Abhijeet : Ab mai naha kar aata hu.
He went inside bathroom and found a set of clothes already present inside. So he came out wearing that clothes. He was about to put coat on when Tarika came and said " Coat rehne do. Waise hi acche lag rahe ho cream shirt and brown pant. "
Abhijeet put down that coat and said " Aap keh rahi hai to rehne deta hu. "
Both of them got ready for bureau and lab respectively. They were about to go when Abhijeet said " Tarika ji ruk jayiye. "
Tarika : Kya hua kuch reh gaya kya ?
Abhijeet went and hugged her tightly before she could realize. Both of them seperated.
Tarika : Ye kis liye ?
Abhijeet : Bas aise hi maan kiya.
Tarika : Ab chale ?
Abhijeet : Hmm.
Agar ye pasand aaya to iski series soch rahi hu.
Like set after senior inspector abhijeet, giraftar series , abhijeet in danger , glass room murder, etc but for the time being I am posting the this chapter only.
If time permits I will try to write these only.
