Abhijeet was standing looking at the photo frames of cid family which were hanging on the wall in front of him. He at once glanced at the photo frame of complete cid team. His eyes fell on the picture of him and Daya which was placed on the cupboard. He took that photo frame and spread his hand on that picture. Drops of tears came from his eyes. He was looking at that picture when the bell rang. He kept back the frame at its place and roughly wiped tears which came from his eyes and opened the door. He found Tarika at the door.
Tarika : ( from the door ) Andar nahi bulaoge ?
Abhijeet : Ayiye na.
She came inside his house. He let her come inside and stand in such a way that his back was facing Tarika.
Tarika : Kya hua ? Ghar kyu bulaya ?
Abhijeet : Baat hi kuch hai aisi hai.
He turned his face towards his face.
Tarika : Kafi pareshan bhi lag rahi ho.
She saw his red eyes in which were filled with tears.
Tarika : Tum ro rahe the ?
Abhijeet once again turned his back towards Tarika and wiped his tears in the same position. Tarika went near him in such a way that both of them were facing each other. Looking her at front , he hung his head down. She hold his face and made him look at her.
He still trying not to meet his eyes with her. She hold him and made him seat on sofa. Looking at her concern towards him again few fresh drops of tears came from his eyes. This time she clearly saw tears in his eyes. He again was about to wipe them.
Tarika : Tumhe mujh se ansun chupane ki jarurat nahi hai.
She took him in a hug. Now he couldn ' t control his tears. He silently was crying in her hug. Her hands were creasing his back so as to comfort him. Both of them remained in the same position for a while. After some time he composed himself. He felt better.
He was about to speak something when Tarika stopped him.
Abhijeet : Nahi Tarika. Mujhe mat roko. Badi himmat kar raha hu.
Tarika looked towards him. She saw something unusual in his eyes.
Abhijeet : Jaise hi Acp sir wapas aa jayenge mai unhe apna transfer karvane ke liye bol dunga.
She looked towards him in a shock but got that some reason was behind his sudden decision. She tried to guess the reason by saying " Kahi iski wajah Daya to nahi. "
He just noded.
Tarika : Dekho Abhijeet tum dono to bohot acche dost ho na.
Abhijeet : ( in a scarstic way ) Dost. Wo to mujhe apna dost tak nahi manta.
Tarika : Aisa nahi hai.
Abhijeet : Aisa hi hai Tarika.
Tarika : Dekho doston me to ladhai jhagda hota rehta hai. Agar ladhai ho jaake to iska matlab ye to nahi ki ek dost muh pher kar chala jaye. Baat karo usse.
Abhijeet : Baat karna to dur ki baat hai Tarika wo mera chehra tak dekhna nahi chahta. Sirf itna hi nahi usne to juniors ke samne ye tak keh dala ki aaj kal to dost bhi peeth me chura khupas dete hai. Ab iske baad kuch aur kehne ke liye bacha hai ?
Tarika : Wo bohot dukhi hai. Tum jaante ho na kitna hurt ho gaya hai wo.
Abhijeet : Jaanta hu. Issi tanhai se bachana chahta tha mai use. Lekin aaj mai hi uski wajah ban gaya.
Tarika : Use thoda waqt do aur apne aap ko bhi. Mai sirf chahti hu ki tum koi bhi faisla jaldbazi me mat karo.
Abhijeet : Mujhe nahi lagta ki ab sab kuch thik ho sakta hai Tarika.
Tarika : Tum pahle si hi aisa mat socho. Ek baar baat karke to dekho.
Abhijeet : Tumhe kya lagta hai ki maine baat karne ki koshish nahi ki.
Tarika : To kya kaha usne ?
Abhijeet : Wo bas ek baat ko lekar baith gaya hai. Wo wajah janna chahta hai ki maine wo letter Shreya ko kyu nahi diya.
Mai kya karu mai nahi bata sakta wajah.
Tarika : Aisi bhi kya wajah hai jo tum use nahi bata sakte ?
With this question , she looked towards him like it is depends on him whether to answer the question or not. He should answer the question is he thinks that she is trustworthy enough to tell otherwise she trusts him blindly. He looked towards her and answered " Maine wo letter isliye nahi diya kyunki Shreya ke papa ne mujhe wo letter Shreya ko dene se mana kar diya. "

Abhijeet : Mujh se aur nahi ho sakta Tarika. Mai uski nazroon me apne liye nafrat nahi dekh sakta.
Tarika : Ek baar socha hai ki tumhare jaane se Daya par kya bitegi.
Abhijeet : Jaan de sakta hu Daya ke liye lekin ye berukhi nahi dekh sakta.
He took a pause of one to two minutes and said " Maine faisla le liya hai Tarika. Mai Mumbai se transfer le lunga. "
Tarika went near him and took his hand in her hand and said " Tumhara yahi faisla hai to yahi sahi.
