Planet Tuffle
"I'm not sure who revived you two. However, whoever did it is going to be exchanging words with me soon enough." Goku said as he stood in his Super Saiyan 4 form. He was staring down the faces of Frieza & Cell.
Frieza only cackled as he looked upon the transformed Goku. "You've changed quite a bit since I last saw you. I can tell it is you, the same filthy monkey that bested me on Namek." The frost demon said as he walked towards Goku.
Perfect Cell cracked his neck as he watched Goku prepare himself for a showdown. "That woman who appeared and gave us an offer we couldn't refuse was simply extravagant." The bio-android said as he took something out, and Frieza did the same. The appearance was that of an apple—a frankly ugly apple.
Goku gazed upon the fruits as if he had seen them before. He was sure he had. The idea of seeing it was at least as accurate as it could have been in his mind. He tried to think back to when he had seen them before his eyes widened. "The tree of might-" His mind pieced together. Without wasting a beat, he charged forward. He wrapped his hand in energy, getting closer. "Don't eat that, Frieza!" As soon as he within range, the two beings took a bite.
The resulting explosion in energy was ferocious. Enough to send Goku careening back with enough force to topple a skyscraper. He emerged quite agitated. He then turned his attention to several newly arrived power signatures. He looked up to see Baby, Gohan, Goten, and Trunks all floating above him. They floated down beside Frieza & Cell. All six sharing a similar white, black, and purple aura.
Goku let out a groan of annoyance. "I don't want to hurt you three." He commented about the three Half Saiyans. "And I cannot mortally wound you without risk to Vegeta's body…" He continued speaking out loud. "This is quite the predicament you worked up, Baby."
Baby only laughed, metaphorically congratulating himself. "Why my Dear Saiyan scum, to eradicate you and your disgusting breed, it was only natural. Now you will die at the hands of your children, friends, and greatest foes. This turn of events is the true reckoning of your entire retched race!" He said as he prepared to attack Goku.
"Tch, as confident I am in my power, this guy thought of everything. Even in the chance, I decided to go all out and risk the chance of hurting Gohan, Goten, and Trunks, Frieza & Cell are powered up. Speaking of, where did they even get the Tree of Might fruit?! This entire scenario is against me." Goku thought to himself. He tried to peace any fragment of a plan he could. However, he only came to one idea that gave him an edge.
He mentally prepared himself for the physical pain he would have to endure for a few minutes, hopefully. He clenched his fists and, with a roar, unleashed the technique he hadn't felt the need to use in years. "KAIOKEN X20!" He shouted as a red aura stacked upon his golden one. "No time to think, just go!" He thought as he charged forward immediately engaging into battle Baby.
He exchanged multiple strikes with the tuffle before landing a kick to the face knocking him away. Then the moment he handled Baby, Frieza and Cell appeared beside him. The two foes unleashed several fast KI blasts at point-blank range at which Goku barely dodged. Shocked at his immense speed, he delivered two kicks to them with ease. Finally, given a moment to rest, he felt a fist slam into his stomach, seeing Gohan looking at him. Before behind him, Goten arrived and blasted him at maximum power, sending him into the Earth. As he emerged, he caught an attack from Trunks and smashed his fist into him. Then, with a yell, he delivered repeated strikes to the Half Saiyan before, Cell appeared in front of him and fired a Kamehameha. The blue beam exploded in size and was wrapping around and sending Goku rocketing on to the surface.
"Jeez, these guys just don't know when to stop..." Goku said before he looked up and realizing he was cornered by the six opponents, each with a KI Blast ready to go. He had instinctively let his guard down. He prepared himself to dodge the KI waves before he was rained down upon by thousands of attacks.
As smoke erupted from the collision, Goku opened his eyes to see a barrier of sorts was around him before he looked up to see a figure standing high above him. "It seems we arrived a little late. My mistake Son Goku." He said as he turned back and looked down upon by him. "I'll try to make myself as clear as possible. I want you to focus on Baby. I'll handle everyone else." She said as she floated downward. He looked at the girl in amazement. He could sense a tremendous power emitting from her.
"Who… who are you?" He asked.
"Not that'll you will remember but…" She began her fearsome red hair blowing in the wind as she drew a sword from her back. "The name is Toyo; the #3 ranked Time Patroller. At your service, Mr. Son Goku!" She announced her title proudly as she prepared herself for the battle.
"Toyo…? For a Saiyan, that's a rather odd name. But anyway, thanks for the help." Goku said as he shot off into the sky and rushed Baby and teleported them both away using Instant Transmission.
With the two crucial warriors out of the way, Toyo turned her eyes upon the five remaining threats. "Now that introductions are unnecessary here… Why don't we wrap these things up quickly fellas." She announced as she a fiery godlike aura began to emerge from her.
Dragon Ball GT: Super - Gods & Mortals Arc
Chapter 2 - Following
Toppo looked out at the night sky with a look of expression on his face. "Something has awakened. Something dangerous." He said with his face laced with concern. His heart and mind were in confusion. He was unsure of what to do.
"If you keep brooding up here as you have been, you're going to turn into Jiren at this rate, Mr. Justice." Dyspo said with a smirk as he slapped his comrade on the back. "Now what's this about an awakening you've mentioned."
Toppo looked at Dyspo, surprised, "How much have you heard?"
"Not much, but Jiren said to check up on you. Your energy has been all over the place for a while now. Did something happen with Belmod?"
Toppo looked at Dyspo and lowered his head. "Belmod removed me from the position of God of Destruction candidate."
"So, that's what it was." A voice from beneath them said. Jiren rose into the air with a look on his face. "There's more to it, right?"
"You're here too, Jiren?! Shouldn't you be training for your rematch with Renegade?" Toppo asked, trying to change the subject.
"My friend wasn't opening up about his feelings. I knew I couldn't reach you, so I asked Dyspo to do so." Jiren explained as he landed in the middle between Dyspo and Toppo. "Now, what is this awakening you've sensed?"
Toppo looked at them both and nodded to himself. "Recently, Belmod asked me to come to his palace. He asked me if I would be willing to give up my role in the mortal realm. As I gave him my answer, he banished me from the realm and told me to never return. It coincided with Miss Macarita returning from an Angel Meeting at Zen-Oh's Palace."
At the mention of Zen-Oh, Dyspo's ears perked up. "Hey hey, you don't think this is another tournament right? I know we all have gotten stronger but at this point, if that Renegade guy is there… Or even if that one Saiyan who fought alongside him we'll be in trouble, right?" He questioned immediately to which Toppo shook his head.
"I have high doubts about this being another Tournament of Power. Though even if it was, we have our new trump card to provide us some much-needed aid." Toppo explained, the person in question bringing Jiren's face to that of displeasure.
"I still am against the idea of allowing a mere child to fight alongside us. It is irresponsible." He argued only for Toppo and Dyspo to frown.
"Jiren I was against it as well. However, she is not a child she is perfect of age. Just a bit smaller than the rest of us. Along with that, she is of a proper mindset and can hold her own in a fight. Her ability is also extremely useful."
"Yeah Jiren, an ability like that is extremely rare, and its nothing to be slept on. She asked for the position and knew what she was getting into. Just like the rest of us. Why are you so against it?"
Jiren only looked at the two. "It was her eyes." He said while lowering his head.
Universe 6
At this precise moment in time, Caulifla would have taken anything else over what was happening right now. Much to her dismay, Cabba had stood above her as he had done so countless times. His eyes were that of complete and utter disappointment. "Is this all Miss Vados' training accounts too? I didn't even need to transform to put you down this time. I am quite honestly disappointed Caulifla. I knew you were slacking but come on…" He berated the female who let out a groan.
"Shut up Cabba! Ever since that one fight during the Tournament of Power you've spent every waking moment doing nonstop training while I have been filling in to cut down my sentence with the Sadala Patrol force." She shouted back as she forced him off of her. "Its not even a fair comparison anymore!" She continued as she transformed into a Super Saiyan 2 and flew at him.
Cabba cracked his neck and clenched his fists. The aura of a Super Saiyan shining briefly as he charged forward, landing multiple fast and decisive strikes on her, leaving her in her natural black-haired form and out of the fight. "You're never touching Son Goku or Master Vegeta at this level." He sternly admitted to her, crushing her pride slightly.
"I wonder if that guy has grown stronger too…" He thought to himself remembering Uub of Universe 7.
Then just as suddenly Cabba transformed into a Super Saiyan 2 and dodged a strike that was coming at him from behind. His eyes shined emerald as the figure of transformed Kale passed over him. "I was wondering when you were going to jump in Kale." He commented, seeing the tall and muscular Saiyan looking at him with confidence on her face.
The two Saiyans stared each other down, their eyes focused on one another's fighting stance. Searching for openings as they squared up. They began to step back away from one another not even attempting to lose sight of one another. Before with a thundering boom, they clashed, their fists flying back and forth, not connecting with anything other than the others' fists. Cabba swept her feet and as soon as he brought a KI blast down to her, something crashed right between them, forcing them apart.
Cabba's eyes widened as he recognized the divine figure standing between him and Kale was none other than their mentor Vados. As the light from her entrance faded she let out an exhausted sigh. "That was quite stressful. Sorry for leaving you all to your own devices." She said as Caulifla stood up. "Caulifla, you seem stressed out." She commented before she turned her attention to the other two. "I need to speak to all three of you."
The three Saiyans lined up in a row based on natural height. The three Saiyans bowed their heads in respect to their mentor. "I am afraid that this will be the end of our time as master and students, despite the two short years they were spent." She softly said, sadness present in her voice. "I do apologize I could not raise you to the heights of Son Goku & Vegeta as you wished." She continued. "However, the potential to be greater than them will have to be accessed by all of you without my guide. Though it is there. The key to unlocking it is not through fusion but through cooperation and understanding. That is for a certain." She explained.
"Miss Vados… why is our training ending so suddenly?" Kale asked.
"Yeah, what's the big deal with that?" Caulifla added while Cabba remained silent, listening intently.
"I am afraid I cannot tell you all that… At least not yet. Though I am sure we will meet again… one day. Goodbye, my precious students." Vados said as she tapped her staff twice, a white halo surrounding the three and teleporting them back to Sadala. The last thing she saw being the understanding eyes of Cabba.
The Tree of the Gods - Outside the Universal Plain
The three Gods sat quietly studying their soon to be opponents. Each God looking into a separate universe, one looking at Universe 2, the other at Universe 6, and the other at Universe 12. Their eyes were glued to their subject that kept their attention.
"That Jiren guy is freakishly strong… Though that Renegade guy was clearly holding back, any God worth their name could see that he was hiding a good portion of his power. And he's clearly grown stronger since this fight with… Mira? Who came up with that name?" The one with a catlike appearance spoke jokingly. "I... want to kill him. I want to see him beg for the life of his o and his friends' while on his knees. This guy, this guy is the one I want to fight. He will truly be an opponent worth fighting, I call dibs on Universe 7 first." He said confidently.
The black-haired Calamity God with the resemblance to an angel only shook her head. "Yato this is not a fight we can afford to lose. Fighting isn't everything either I hope you realize. It is unfitting of a God to pick a fight with a mortal. Our task is to eradicate mortals above that of the universal average. Don't forget the mission. Isn't that right Demi?"
The last of the three was trapped in deep thought. His eyes looked at a picture of Gogeta & Broly from the fight that had happened fairly recently. "A being with power that corrupts his own mind. A power that never ceases and grows limitlessly until it tears the user apart. How tragic. Putting him down should be your first priority Yato. Bisha you handled Universe 6. I will deal with the other ten myself." He said with resolution and determination present in his voice. He flapped his wings and took to the skies. "In one day the Hierarchy of the Multiverse will be re-established in the name of Lord Zen-Oh." He announced to the other two. His body covered in sunlight and wrapping his figure in shadow.
"Tch, this guy really doesn't know when to not show-off, looking all cool, just because he's the oldest of us three Gods. So annoying." Yato said, annoyed by his brothers' announcement. Bisha only sighing seeing the irony of Yato seeing Demi as the "annoying" brother.
Conton City - The Time Nest
Toyo arrived in the Time Nest with a broken sword. As she exited the room seeing the Time Scroll was restored to its natural state. "Jeez, I cannot believe I broke another sword. Renegade's going to kill me for breaking his stuff." She said worriedly as she walked away seeing Renegade and another person waiting for her at a circular table drinking tea.
"Jay! Renegade! You both waited for me? I'm touched." She said as she floated over, seeing her drink was fully empty. As she looked for the culprit, Renegade aimed a Death Beam at Jay, the brown-skinned Saiyan who whistled innocently.
"I was… thirsty?" Jay said calmly putting on an act of a disciplined warrior. "You simply took too long."
Renegade only lowered his eyes in disappointment. "That's completely Saibashit and we both know it." He said without hesitating Jay shooting him a glare.
"Dude-" Jay began before Toyo kicked him in the hip knocking him off of his chair and causing his drink to spill on to him.
Toyo let out an annoyed sigh. "Honestly… you're unbelievable."
