Man, did I crank this one out. Anyways, another chapter! That's one more than I originally anticipated than what I thought I would do! Anyways, enjoy this second chapter, and stay cheeki breeki my tovarschi!

Chapter 2 : Pizz- Bandit Time

Now, let me get this straight to you, walking in games is a hassle and even more so in real life. Not that I hate walking mind you, I think everyone should go on a walk or two with their best buds or mates or what have you. It's just… I sincerely hate nothing to do while walking alone in a forest armed and kitted up. The last time that happened was in Pripyat and I got ambushed by bandits with AKUs… Not in real life obviously, but I wasn't keen on experiencing that in real-life either. But for now… I started less to 'walk' through the forest and more on actually dancing through the forest with whatever songs I could remember in my head. Hey, anything to keep me happy and the boredom away, eh?

"Doo de doo, do do de doo.. do doo de doo doo."

If there was one song that I liked to listen to occasionally, it was the Bandit Radio with it's rather… upbeat? I guess sort of tune. Never mind that in Clear Sky I murdered every bandit I came across, hey, I was more of a Clear Sky person alright? Sure, that game might be considered the worst in the series, but it was a good game and I enjoyed playing it. Now, where was I? Oh yes, walking through a forest with an AKM in my hands wearing a SSP suit ( which surprisingly, was very comfortable to be in ) humming to Bandit radio. That soon stopped however as I went to check on my PDA and went into Commander's View as I looked to my base.

The Harvester was doing fine enough, his first batch of Tiberium coming along… Strange considering it was his first batch and I had hardly noticed my income go up until he finally deposited in the Tiberium, guess the game works slower in real-life than in actual game-time… Yeah, that would be overpowered as shit. But enough about that, I was constructing my first Barracks and soon it was ready…

"Objective List Updated."

Train 5 Rifleman Squads

- ?

I was about 200$ barely short of affording my 5th rifle squad, so I just merely hopped out of Commander's view and decided to continue on my merrily bandit journey to god-knows where. Speaking of bandits… It didn't take me long to find some sort of encampment out in the woods. Huh, who would've thought they be so close… Or relatively close to my base anyways? Thankfully the forest was plenty of cover as I peeked out. You know good thing I had Gamer's body otherwise I would've been stuck with my crappy vision, having to use some binoculars or something for losers. This was not the case as I could see them wearing some sort of black and white uniform… Ugh, they stood out in the forest like rats in… something, dunno I'm not a good metaphor guy unless it's midnight and I'm bored. There was also a few tents nearby, a crate, and a jeep… Yeah, I'm probably going to snag that as soon as I was done with em. Looks like they were playing cards too, so they were distracted.

I raised my AKM up to firing position… Wait, was I going to be killing people? Oh to hell with the idea! They were marked red on my PDA and as far as I was concerned, they don't count as people! Oh… Should probably get closer, shouldn't I? So I decided to crouch down, getting closer to their camp as I hid behind the jeep… If those fuckers shoot out the engine block, I'm getting pissed. I could hear them speaking,

"-Fold."

"Ah-ha! I win motherfuckers! Now hand over the Lien."

"I hate you Aizen."

'Aizen eh? Looks like you won't be able to cash out tonight!' I raised my AKM as I pulled the slide and popped out of my vehicular cover, the three of them turned their faces towards me as I was expecting their surprised faces… Too bad they were covered by masks, but hey, easier for me to deal with them! "AHH NUUU! CHEEKI BREEKI MOTHER FUCKERS!" I shouted as I essentially sprayed the area with my AKM, holding the trigger down as the bullets went wide. I could hear ONE of them get hit with the spread of the bullets, they cried out in pain as I assumed that they went down. I could hear the other two panic,

"OH SHIT, JADE'S HIT!"

"GET TO COVER!"

Oh, so one of them was a woman? Good thing I never had any problems with Gender Equality, Kazuma style. Wait… They were bandits, right- 'OH SHIT'. I ducked down as gunfire came towards my direction, and oddly enough I felt less wind brushing past me and more of a brief flash of heat come over. Were they shooting… flares? Regardless, I did NOT want to get hit by one of those damn things anyways. And hell, it was too late to back out of this gunfight anyways, 'Shoot first, loot second, questions later!'. Once they were done firing, I popped up and unloaded my entire magazine where the concentrated fire came from, watching as my bullets connect to another person as they crumpled to the ground.

The last guy actually HIT me with BULLETS! Or well, at least it felt like bullets… Thankfully, it was nothing more but a quick but also sharp pain, so I hissed as I fired… Only to realize I forgot to reload indicated by a 'clicking' sound. Quickly I ducked down behind the jeep as I cursed to myself, 'Goddamnit! At least I don't reload when I only shot one bullet!… Wait, that woul- Oh to hell with it!' Once I loaded in my magazine I popped up from the jeep and saw the guy standing there ready to fire… Only for him to turn into a red mist from a combination of me holding down the trigger without much control and ejecting all of my bullets directly into his face… I looked down at myself… and mostly my suit, checking to see if anything had breached it, I'd be pissed if I had to repair it this early. Fortunately, it was intact ( Or at least from what I could tell ) and the screen wasn't even cracked.

I checked my magazine to see that I had 22 rounds in the current one… Well, they were all either incapacitated or dead anyways, no harm in not reloading. I could hear one alive at least, whimpering… I stepped out from behind the jeep, looking to see that two of the three were alive but injured, the last guy dead. I held my AKM in my arms as I walked over to the nearest 'Bandit' or whatever and held my rifle to them, my finger on the trigger ready to end their life. "P-Please… Don't." They held their arm out, as if holding it out would stop a bullet… And yet, when I tried to pull the trigger, I just couldn't. I twitched with my finger on the trigger, but eventually I removed it… Would it be right of me to finish them off? I knew that I could finish bandits off in S.T.A.L.K.E.R without hesitation, but that was Strelok, not me. In the end I let my rifle hand, and although they were wearing some sort of mask I could practically feel the fear radiating off of them within their last moments of life. I felt guilty, but they were… No, I don't even know if they were bandits.

I looked down at the one in front of me, holding their chest since that's probably where I hit them with my AKM. They were wearing some simple clothing with a red emblem of a wolf's head and three claw marks behind the head, so clearly they were bandits, or am I just misinterpreting it? No, obviously the logo is meant to inspire fear, so they must be bandits. And then I noticed something odd, something on the top of their heads… Wolf ears? Instinctively I went out to touch them, but the girl ( which I had assumed since they obviously had the sounds of it ), tried to cover them with their hands. I pulled my hands back anyways… Besides, that would be odd of me… when I could be looting them. Well, I tried to loot this one but they tried kicking my hands out the way, probably assuming I was going to do much worse than what I actually had in mind, "Hey! Cut that out. I'm just stealing your shit!"

"Get you hands off me!"

Annoyed, I pulled back on my AKM and they stiffened up immediately, "Good. Now stay still, I won't touch you, just your loot. I may be a bandit, but I have some morals goddamnit." I started to pat them down, taking out what seemed to be some sort of magazines for some gun before I shoved them into my suit's pockets. I also fished out their wallet and flipped it open before looking inside and pulling out some plastic cards. Were these credit cards or what? They looked like actual currency though, so I shoved them into my pockets and tossed the wallet aside. They were awfully being submissive to me, I expected more of a fight to be perfectly honest. So, once I was done patting them down for any valuables I pretty much left them alone to go loot the other two people I had shot.

The other one who was injured did try to actually fight back, in fact they tried to reach for their submachine gun. I promptly ended their life with a bullet or two to the head, which I had no regrets for doing as it had to be done. I managed to snag a few more magazines off of them, taking the SMG off the corpse as well as I inspected it. The gun itself was fairly stylish with a silver painting and red outline, but aside from the paint job it looked… well, regular I guess? They also felt lighter than I expected it to be, but I suppose that's probably because of Gamer's body making it more comfortable for me to handle. I also stole some more money off of them, and for once I actually looked to see the symbol in one of the corners of it. It was the letter 'L' but with two horizontal lines going across the letter… Still didn't know what it meant though. Wait, they said something about Lien earlier… Perhaps it was that then? Pretty weird thing to call currency, although 'Ruble' is pretty odd too now that I thought about it.

The other dead guy also had a SMG, so I looted that off of him too. Now, you may be thinking to yourself why I need so many guns… I don't know either, I don't know if there's any vendors or anything but goddamn do I love hoarding shit. I mean, what if I run out of ammo for my AKM, what am I supposed to do then? Anyways, once I looted the Lien off of him too, my final amount of Lien gained was 56$'s worth of Lien… That is assuming it's a 1 to 1 ratio, should've just said 56 Lien then. I thought to myself as I patted him down, 'Now… Let's see about those keys…'. Eventually I fished out a set of keys to which I thought belonged to the jeep, 'Wait shit, I don't know how to drive'. I eventually shrugged off the thought, driving a jeep was simple enough when there's no actual rules on driving in an area, not like anyone was going to stop me in the middle of a forest for going 20 miles over the speed limit.

As I was walking to the jeep, I looked behind me to see the only person still alive curled up and holding tightly to themselves… They would be fine out here, right? Goddamnit, I hate having a moral compass of a saint, why couldn't I just be evil for once. I sighed as I walked back and crouched down next to them, pulling out my only medical kit as I spoke, "Listen. I'm going to be treating your injures… So uh… Don't try anything, I'm wasting a medkit on you ya know?" What the fuck was I doing? I barely knew how to treat anyone of injures much less panic about blood loss because I cut my finger once with a knife ( thankfully I didn't need stitches since it was shallow ), and yet why did I find myself patching them up better than how I would've actually done? I attempted to try to throw their armor off, but they tried to swat my hands away off of them which was understandable, I suppose I'd do the same considering I wouldn't want a strange man tending to me if he wasn't an EMT.

"Why did you help me?"

I found myself pausing at their question, 'Why did I help them…? I should've kept that medkit to myself. But, I don't like to-….'. I bit the inside of my lip, not like they could see anyways before I finally spoke, "Killing you would be a mercy, leaving you to succumb to your wounds would be… wrong. I guess I prefer the third option then. Never did like to see death much," I paused, "even if they were enemies… Or at least ones that begged for mercy." While I couldn't see their eyes, I could tell they were slightly shocked at my response due to them gaping slightly. Yeah well, I had to deal with this shitty mentality too, not so quite naive yet still kinda am.

Once I was done patching them up to the best of my abilities, I just… left them there as I got walked towards the jeep. I'm surprised they weren't going to kill me as soon as I turned my back, but I guess they were still in pain and well… frankly, I had just given them a second chance at life, so they'd BETTER be grateful I spared them. As I was walking I could hear them call out to me, "Wait… Your just going to leave me here?"

"As a matter of fact, yes. Why, you got a problem with that?"

"Yes… I'm def- Ow. Defenseless out here!" I could see them trying to push themselves off of the ground with one of their hands.

"So? Not like you need a gun anyways! You'd shoot me in the back if you had one."

"But there's GRIMM out here!"

"The fuck's a-" I paused for a moment, realizing I've heard that term around somwhere… But… No, I couldn't possibly be- 'Am… Am I in fucking RWBY?'

"You don't know what Grimm is!?"

I snapped out of my thoughts as I stared slightly irritated at both the shouting and the woman herself, "I DO know thank you very much!" Better to deal with the here and now than to dwell on such a stupid subject like where I am at the moment. I paused for a moment to contemplate a moral decision… I leave them to die, or to take them prisoner without the means to? Well, I had my AK, but no zipties or anything. In the end I just shrugged as I got out of the jeep and started to walk towards them. They looked up at me as I leaned over them, "W-What are you doing now- Eep!" I crouched down as I lifted them up in somewhat of a bridal carry, they clawed at my screen slightly and punched my chest whilst shouting to be let go. I complied, and promptly dropped them on the ground as they hissed in pain, "Asshole! "

"Listen, I either leave you here for the Grimm or I take you prisoner, what is it going to be?"

She looked at me for a moment, eventually pulling off her mask as she scowled at me… Although, to be honest I was sort of staring at her in a different light instead of being intimidated… She did have nice eyes. "Fine… I'll go with you. But I want to walk!"

"But can you walk though?"

"I-… Yes! Of course I can!… Um… Just give me a moment!"
"Don't have a moment, nor do I care about waiting here."

"Don't you dare!-"

I picked her up in my arms again as she shrieked, "Put me down!" Although, she wasn't punching me in the chest this time and more of just merely glaring at me as I walked towards the jeep. She'd crossed her arms like some sort of angry child, even huffing at me and looking away… Hrm, why do I feel like I picked up a Tsundere all of a sudden? Anyways, the back of the truck was flat so I merely let her lay there as she still glared at me, 'Hey, I didn't want to bring you along either, but my damn morality- Wait, I already said that'. Well, at least she wasn't looking for a weapon or anything, but she could still crash the jeep while I was driving so- "What are you looking at? Huh?"

I snapped out of my thoughts for a moment, huh, guess I was staring at her for a bit while I was thinking to myself, "Nothing. Just making sure you didn't have a weapon on you." A pretty lame excuse honestly, but I didn't have anything else to work with so that was my best and only option for me to use. Eventually I got into the jeep, putting in the keys in the ignition as it started up… I looked down and- 'AW FUCK, IT'S A STICK!'. Wait, Sticks were easy to deal with… Just had to do a bit of extra effort into actually using the thing. Eventually ( and after fumbling a small bit, to which the 'prisoner' happily called me out on my faults and accused me of not knowing how to drive, which was true to a degree ), I managed to get set off on the road, driving down a dirt path in the middle of the forest. Do I know where I'm going? Nope, but I figured my best bet was to drive on back to my base so I could drop off the prisoner before they tried to murder me in the jeep. Hell, did I even have buildings ready to take a prisoner? It's not like the barracks could be used for a temporary jail anyways, I'd probably have to queue up more repulser fields just as a holding area of sorts.

Well, here I was, driving down the road in a Uaz-looking jeep with a prisoner untied right behind me, possibly ready to kill me at any moment as I drove on. Probably a stupid idea to let them go untied, but I had a rifle sitting next to the seat in case I needed to shoot them on the spot, and if they tried to grab it, it would be self defense if I shot them. She was fairly docile though, albeit she hissed and cursed at me every time her injuries acted up because I hit a bump in the road or something similar. Hell, I didn't even bother to check if the fuel was topped off in this jeep, so as far as I'm concerned- No wait, it was nearly full, so that was the only good thing so far. Well, it'd be a while to get back to base so I might as well enjoy the ride for now…

When I did eventually get back in my base, I stopped the jeep as I immediately grabbed my rifle. I pointed it at her as she looked at me, "Alright, time to get up. Come on, up up!" Once again she hissed at me… You know, for a wolf faunus she hissed quite a bit… Maybe she was a snake faunus in disguise, heh. Eventually she stood up, having recovered from her injured as she stared me down, "Now now… I know what your possibly thinking, but don't try anything funny now you hear? You do that, and you'll get bullets into your head. Alright? Now, march into that building over there." I pointed to the MCV… Was it a bad idea to keep a prisoner inside there? Probably, but I had nowhere else to put her besides the barracks and I don't think the MCV really had any weapons inside.

As I marched her towards the MCV she looked over to see the Tiberium Sanctuary, "What the hell is that?" I shoved her from behind with my rifle to get her going, "Shut up. Keep walking." When we did enter the MCV, I made sure to have her line up against the wall with her back facing me… I looked around, making sure to have one hand with the AKM trained on her as I looked around in the MCV. I'd shoot her if she turned without my permission or even vaguely tried to touch anything that didn't belong to her… Fortunately, there was a reinforced part of the MCV with room for a single person to be in, which admittedly might've been a room for holding or a testing area for Tiberium, but… Well, I tossed that stuff out into the field so it could grow. So, I 'gently' persuaded her into entering the room before locking the door behind her as she entered. She immediately turned around, looking as me as she shouted, "Hey! You're not going to leave me with anything?! There's not even a toilet or anything in here! It's just blank!"

I sighed, "Listen, this is only temporary, if you require someone I will be watching the cameras in here…" I didn't know if there were actually any cameras, but I did a quick scan and saw a camera vague out the corner of my eye, "… Don't try to break the glass either. As for food, eh… Dunno, I'll grab something for you later."

"Seriously? Ugh."

"Would you rather be dead?"

". . . No."

"Then you'll have to deal with this." With that I exited the MCV, taking out my tablet as I looked to see I had new funds that had came in recently. 'Hopefully, she won't perish… Or at least, well, die horribly of starvation till I find something to deal with her.' I immediately queued five infantry squads for training.

"Training..."

Eventually, I watched as the first riflemen squad came out of the barracks as I exited Commander's View, soon approaching them after.

"Ah, Comamnder! Good to see you. Rifle squad is ready sir!."

"Yes yes, good to see you too soldier. Now, I understand your a soldier, but... your going to have to be military police for the time being."

"Sir?"

"There's a prisoner in the MCV holding area, and yes, I understand you may find that odd but it's the only place where I could put her. I want you to watch over here for the time being with your squad, just generally make sure she's doing alright and well… Yeah, do what you think is best. The rest of your squad is on MCV protection and prisoner watch, got it?"

"Uh, Course sir, anything you say."

"Very well then, you and your squad is dismissed."

I watched the first squad leave the barracks exit area, the 'Leader' of the group entering the MCV… Yeesh, I needed to find a place to drop off the prisoner, and soon before she wrecks anything. Regardless I queued up roughly six squads as I watched them exit the barracks-

- ?

Ah, a side quest? Hrm, I wonder what that could be then? No matter, as I looked to see my new batch of squads come out of the barracks, I called out to them, "Atten-tion!" They snapped to position slightly surprised, as they turned to face me as they shouted, "Sir! Riflemen squads are ready!"

"All of you men, you will all be following me for a routine patrol commissioned immediately! Do you understand me!"

"Sir yes sir!

"Good! Now then, let's get moving. Rifle squad, on me!"

I decided to leave the Uaz jeep back at base, taking my new infantry squads into the forest as we walked… You know, I always did like the idea of having an army behind my back, I felt powerful… More powerful than I had ever felt in my life. I just hope they don't quickly fade away like Cadian Guardsmen in the 40K Dawn of War games, that would suck big-time.

As we were walking ever so deeper and deeper into the forest, I could hear the sounds of gunfire and someone shouting… Huh, seems like this little expedition party wouldn't be so boring after all.
