After breakfast, the Zula Patrol and Astranova went back to the Communications Room.
When they entered, a loud siren wailed out which meant that someone needed their help.
Zeeter raced over to the computer, sat down and began to get to work.
Bula embraced Astranova, in an attempt to calm her down.
"It's alright, Astra. I'm right here. You haven't done nothing wrong. Shh. Astra, don't cry!" He said, rubbing her back and with his other arm, rocking her back and forth like a baby.
Astranova was now beginning to calm down.
Multo picked up a small, black remote and pressed the glowing red button on it.
A medium sized TV screen came down.
Zeeter pressed a certain key on the keyboard and the TV screen began to come on.
First the screen was black but then, it went static.
About a couple of minutes later, a clear image of Comet Teremy appeared.
Wizzy and Wigg were amazed.
"It's Teremy!" Both of them excitedly said.
Bula walked over to the screen, holding Astranova's hand.
Zeeter, Multo and Gorga joined them.
"Hey, Teremy. Haven't heard from you in a while. Are you alright? What's the flipside of the stardust?" Astranova said, looking at her best friend comet.
Teremy was silent for a little bit, trying to gather up what he had witnessed.
Zeeter crossed her arms.
"Hurry up, Teremy! We don't have all day!" She said, getting really impatient.
Bula looked at the lavender alien with a stern look on his face.
"Zeeter, shh. Let Teremy think. There's something on his mind that he's not telling us." He said, looking from her to the screen.
Astranova closed her eyes and began to mind communicate with the comet.
Inside the space void…
Teremy and Astranova flew towards each other.
Both of them met up in the middle.
"Hey, Teremy. It's been about a couple of months since I have last seen you, right?" Astranova said as she was trying to hug him.
Teremy used his short comet arms to hug her.
"Right. First…How are you doing?" He said as they were looking at each other.
Astranova sighed sadly.
"I'm doing okay but, it's sad that I can't return home…" She said, with tears in her eyes.
Teremy nodded.
"I know, Astranova but…" He began to say, hesitantly.
Astranova looked at him, curiously.
"But what, Teremy?" She said as Teremy gave her a Kleenex.
Teremy helped her dry her tears.
"But I'm going to bring home to you since you're feeling homesick. That's why I've made it all the way to Zula for. You're my best friend, Astranova and I am never going to break my promises! You can count on me!" He said, reassuringly.
Astranova was blushing at the thought of Bula.
"Yep. Alright, Teremy. Just let us know why you called us, okay?" She said as a bright white light began to appear on her side.
The same thing began to appear on Teremy's side.
"Alright, Astranova. I will. Bye!" He waved with one of his little arms and then went into the light.
Astranova sighed and walked into the light as well, on her side.
Outside the space void…
"Astra…Astra, are you alright?" Bula said, calling her back to reality.
Astranova's space eyes blinked open and looked at Bula.
"Hey, Bula. What did I miss?" She asked, groggily.
Bula looked at the screen that was still static after going off for a couple of minutes.
He then looked back at Astranova.
"Nothing much, Astra. No need to worry. We'll help your best friend." Bula said, reassuringly as the TV screen now had a clear image of Teremy showing.
"Hello? Zula Patrol? Astranova? Are any of you still there?" Teremy said, now trying to get their attention.
Astranova floated over to the screen as Bula, Multo, Zeeter, Wizzy, Wigg and Gorga were now beginning to follow right behind her.
"Yes, Teremy. We're still here." Zeeter said, reassuring the young comet.
Teremy sighed in relief.
"So…What seems to be the problem, Teremy?" Bula asked, wondering with concern.
Teremy looked at the screen, silently.
He then sighed sadly.
"Maybe it's best if Astranova explains the situation." Teremy said, looking at the team who were willing to help him.
Bula, Zeeter, Multo, Wizzy, Wigg and Gorga were now looking at Astranova.
Astranova began to breathe in and out, calmly.
"Teremy came here to Zula so that he could drop off some of my family and friends…" She said, staying calm as she was talking to them.
Bula was excited.
"This is really amazing, Astra! We'll finally be meeting most of your family and some of your friends!" He said, looking at her and kissing her.
Astranova blushed at him and kissed him.
Bula blushed back as well.
"Astranova, get back to what I witnessed! PLEASE?!" Teremy said, with urgency in his voice.
The team turned to look at him.
"Teremy, what seems to be the problem?" Bula asked, a second time.
Something seemed to be quite awry with the comet.
What was he hiding from them?
Well, whatever it was…Astranova was the only one who knew about it besides him.
Teremy sighed and looked at them.
"Well…I was just about to get in position so that I could drop off some of her friends and family when…When I…" He said, now beginning to flashback to a couple of minutes ago.
Wizzy and Wigg looked at the comet, concerned.
"It's okay, Teremy." Wizzy said, in an attempt to comfort him.
Wigg nodded his head yes, in agreement with his sister.
"Yeah. You can tell us." He said, looking at the comet.
Bula smiled at the two fireflies.
"That's right. We're here to help you, Teremy." He said, with reassurance.
Teremy smiled at them and now began to pick back up right whre he left off.
"I saw a dark purple ship heading straight towards the atmosphere. I knew that I should have followed it but I then remembered what Asteroid Dude told me…" He said, bravely continuing to tell the tale.
Multo then chuckled.
Wizzy and Wigg looked at him, confused.
Astranova twiddled her fingers, nervously.
"What's so funny, Multo?" Bula asked, with one of his eyes raised.
Multo stopped chuckling.
"Sorry, Bula. It's just that I remember the surfer asteroid." He said, apologizing.
Bula smiled.
"I remember him too, Multo." He said, in agreement.
Zeeter looked at Teremy, with an eyebrow raised.
"So…What did Asteroid Dude tell you?" She asked, wanting to know.
Teremy began to continue and remember the past events.
"He said that once I hit Zula's atmosphere, we're talking about major damage to the planet!" He said, in an explanation.
Multo's eyes then began to crisscross each other in different directions.
"Oh my stars! This is bad!" He said, beginning to panic.
Astranova was thinking and as she was thinking, she felt something dripping down from her lips.
It dripped onto the floor.
Teremy, from the screen could see what the color of it was.
It was a black-red.
Bula looked at Astranova and saw that she wasn't looking too well.
Astranova was now swaying from side to side, feeling like she was about to fall over.
"ASTRA!" Bula said, concerned as he was now holding her steady.
Zeeter came over to them and looked at the puddle of the black-red alien fluid.
"Something seems really suspicious here. Don't you think so, Bula?" She said, looking at him as she was investigating.
Bula looked at Zeeter.
"Yeah. Let's help Astra!" He said, looking at Astranova who was holding onto him.
Teremy saw what was happening to Astranova.
He then exactly remembered what Nova told him before he departed to Zula.
~ Flashback~
Nova's house…
Stella was on the couch, looking over comet statistics and galaxy statistics when Nova came into the living room.
Her indigo-white hair was gleaming with the lights in the room.
Stella looked up from her statistic readings and saw her mother.
"Hey, Mom. Where are you going?" She said, seeing that Nova was dressed in her dark purple Zula Patrol coat that she wore back in the day when she was the head captain of the old Zula Patrol, and yet she still is.
Nova also had on her dark purple Zula winter boots.
"Stellar Star, I'm about to go talk to Teremy. I need to give him some specific instructions." She said, in an explanation as she was about to head out the front door.
Stella looked around.
"Why are you going to leave me in here by myself?" She asked, in wonder.
Nova turned to look back at her.
"Not to worry, honey. I have someone who'll look after you while I'm gone outside." She said, reassuringly as she was now looking upstairs.
Stella looked upstairs as well.
"Bob! Zela! Miles! Get down here! I have a job for you, team!" Nova yelled, hoping her squadron would respond.
Meanwhile…
A grown up version of Bula, a grown up version of Zeeter and a grown up version of Multo were in their rooms hanging out when they began to hear Nova yelling for them.
Bob, the grown version of Bula came out of his room.
Zela and Miles did the same thing.
The team met in the middle of the hallway.
"I was in the middle of getting a high score on Centipede!" Zela started complaining.
Bob sighed.
"We better go see what's wrong. Let's go, team!" He said, immediately as he began to lead them.
When they got downstairs, they saw Nova and Stella.
"Mrs. Nova, what's the emergency?" Bob asked, looking at her and placing his hand on hers.
Zela and Miles looked over at Stella.
"Could you three look after Stella while I go outside and talk to Teremy?" Nova said, before she was about to head out.
Bob looked at Stella and his teammates who were sitting beside Stella, watching her work.
"Sure, Mrs. Nova. We'll take great care of her!" He said, determinedly.
Nova smiled and began to leave, shutting the door behind her.
Once she was outside, Nova began to get in position for launch.
She was getting ready, just like an airplane would be.
After she was ready, she began to launch herself.
Nova flew off of the comet like a little comet.
Just as Teremy was flying, he began to see a silver like little comet flying right beside him.
He stopped.
The little silver comet flew right in front of Teremy's face.
"Teremy! Teremy!" The little comet called.
Teremy recognized the voice.
"Mrs. Nova?" He said, calling out to her.
The silver and indigo blue light disappeared around the small comet and what was left was the medium sized alien.
"Mrs. Nova, what are you doing out here by yourself? Where's Stella? You usually bring her out here with you." Teremy asked, in wonder.
Nova sighed.
She knew that she was really wanting to see Astranova, since she's been missing for almost a couple of months now.
This was going to be the only chance that she was going to get to see her and she didn't want to lose it.
Well…Here I go.
"Stella is inside the house with the Zula Patrol's parents. I'm not losing her like I lost Star-Star!" Nova said, with an upset mother's voice.
Teremy nodded, in sympathy.
"I see…So…What are you doing out here, Mrs. Nova? How can I help you?" He said, looking at the floating alien.
"Can you take us to Zula? Stella and I would really like to see Astranova. Plus, some of her friends have been dying to see her as well." Nova said, looking at him with truthful eyes.
Teremy then began to turn around.
"Sure, Mrs. Nova! Of course! Of course I'll take you all to Zula! Head back in and let Stella and the Zula Patrol's parents know!" He said, excitedly as Nova began to turn white silvery indigo blue again, in the formation of a small comet.
Nova was now about to head in.
Teremy then remembered something that was on the tip of his stardust tail.
"Nova, can I ask you a question?" He said, with wonder.
Nova stopped going in and looked back at him.
"Yes, Teremy?" She said, looking down at him.
Teremy then remembered the Zula Patrol and Astranova going head to head against a dark purple ship.
"What happens when Astranova is too close to the person that's in the dark purple ship?" He said, in wonder.
Nova's eyes widened at Teremy's question.
"H…How d…do y…you k…know about that guy Dark Truder, Teremy?" She said, surprised.
Teremy gulped nervously.
"I saw Astranova and her boyfriend Bula fight against him before in an epic showdown but…" He said, remembering Astranova and Bula fighting against Dark Truder.
Nova sighed.
"But what, Teremy? I have to go back and tell Stella and Astranova's friends that we're going to Zula to see her!" She said, excited.
"What is that red stuff dripping down from her lips?" Teremy asked, with concern in his voice.
Nova then remembered what it was that Teremy was talking about because she took a course in high school about nursing.
"Bl…Blood…"
End flashback ~
(So…We get to meet the Zula Patrol's parents, who are still alive and patrolling with Astranova's mom Nova. Teremy remembers a lot, doesn't he? Anyways…Stay tuned for chapter five!)
