34. Don't Touch My Stuff (Also, hi :)

Hello Folks,

101stellastella here. Guess what? I'm not dead! (Though law school has made me dead inside, but that's another matter. I'd like to think I retain my humor at the very least.) Sorry for anyone hoping for anything new. I swear I've never intended to go completely on hiatus. Law school kicked a bit more crap out of me than I could ever really expect. (How the heck did anyone in our fandom end up being a lawyer? These are the questions that will forever haunt me.)

Unfortunately, the reason why I'm writing this is because it has been brought to my attention that someone has copied and pasted my story to wattpad without my permission, with no accreditation. I know this message seems meaningless after so many years, but writing these stories helped me during a really tough time in life and were sometimes my only source of solace. Seeing someone take that away from me without so much of a mention hurts. Plain and simple, it's not cool.

I'd like to thank the people who brought this issue to my attention. I find it heartwarming that there are still people out there still reading my stuff (how far do you have to dig to find any of it nowadays? Kinda mindboggling.) I'm sorry if I let you guys down by suddenly going on permanent hiatus. School got the better of me. I never intended to stop writing. Believe it or not, I still am, just not as often or the same amount. I'm hoping that once law school is over (covid, don't ruin this for me) that I can go back to posting. I at least want to finish the stories I've left on cliff hangers.

At least, if that is what you guys want. To be completely honest, I've seen a lot of fanfic authors and readers disappear with nothing so much as a whimper. I'm not sure how many of my original readers are still out there (I feel old writing that. Ew.) Maybe there's new readers who'll like my stuff, but it's the old gang that encouraged and inspired me when I needed it the most. If you're still out there, I'd love to hear from you. Believe it or not, I miss you guys.

Well, that's enough blubbering. The overall gist is, don't take my stuff guys. I worked hard for it. I'm hoping to get back to it, just be patient with me. Let me know if ya'll are still kicking. Oh and, avoid going outside like it's the plague because, guess what, it's the plague.
