"Dinner's ready Izuku!" My mom calls from the kitchen, jerking me out of my thoughts. "Make sure you look nice, the Bakugous are coming over!" I hop out of the shower and throw on a hoodie and some shorts. I rush downstairs into the living room where everyone is waiting before I realize that I'm wearing my boyfriend's favorite Pikachu hoodie instead of one of mine. Kacchan has a savage look in his eye as he also realizes that it isn't mine. "Oi, Deku. Why the fucking hell are you wearing some damn extra's hoodie? If you need a fucking hoodie you can have one of mine." Katsuki roared as he rushed at me aggressively. "Language Katsuki!" His mother shouts loudly as she grabs his ear and drags him back to the sofa.

I'm lucky that we are sitting down for dinner but I don't know how long I have before Kacchan snaps. He looks about ready to rip this hoodie off my back. 'This doesn't make any sense, Kacchan shouldn't care about me wearing someone else's hoodies. And what the hell happened earlier? Why would he say my name like that?' I look up as I feel my cheeks heat up again and I know that I'm blushing. My mom is looking at me with a question in her eyes and I can tell that she's worried about me again. I keep pushing my food around my plate without eating it. This goes on for another five minutes before I scoot my chair back and say that I'm going upstairs and that I'm not hungry.

I calmly get up and leave the room before anyone can say anything. I lay down on the floor of my now-empty room. Everything except for a few boxes have been moved into either the storage unit or the apartment. About five minutes later, I hear a knock on my door and Kacchan walks in and slams the door behind him. "What's wrong Deku? You're acting really weird" He says loudly. I open my eyes the slightest bit to see him scowling down at me. Something seems off with his scowl but I can't decide what. I open my eyes fully as he heads twoards me slowly, but in a threatening way. I sit up to look at him and give him my usual innocent words, "Nothing's wrong Kacchan. I'm fine." As I give him a big smile his scowl fades and his face grows soft like it does when we're alone. I still find it sad that I'm the only one who ever gets to see this side of him.

It seems like everything is back to normal when he suddenly picks me up by my shirt before carrying me over to the far side of my room just to drop me and pin me to the wall. He pushes my wrists tightly against the wall and leans in real close until his face is hovering before mine. I can smell his sweet breath coming from his lips and driving me crazy as Kacchan's ruby eyes stay locked on mine. It takes all of my will power to not get lost in his eyes while he holds me there, as if he is fighting himself. "Goddamnit Izu," He growls in a low, husky voice that send shivers up my spine before he drops my wrists and lets his head fall against my shoulder. "K-Kacchan?" I stutter nervously while slipping my arms around his waist to keep him from collapsing. I slowly sit us on the floor and hope he doesn't get angry as our limbs get tangled together. "Why do you have to make me feel this way? I know you're lying about being ok. Something's up and I know it. I'm not gonna make you tell me tonight, please just let me stay in you arms. I don't want you to leave me again." He whispers so that I can barely hear as he starts softly crying. "If you tell anyone about this I'll blast your ass into the sun." He threatens me, but there's no real power behind it. He just curls his body around mine and tangles our limbs while crying on my shoulder. We sit there, curled around each other for I don't know how long, but when his mom calls him downstairs I'm half asleep. He carefully detaches himself and whispers that everything is ok as I sleepily open my eyes.

I feel better now that he has a soft smile on his face and his tears are gone. Our pain has always been the other's pain even when we were the worst of enemies. It had been like this since we were kids but recently it had grown much stronger.

He whispered soft reassurances in my ear as he picked me up bridal style and carried me downstairs. "I'm gonna drive him to our apartment since I have a car now." He growled at Auntie Mitsuki, as if challenging her to stop him. I smiled slightly at how protective he can be. "I have a spare room you can just carry him up there since he was planning on staying there tonight." My mother says calmly. His arms tighten around me the slightest bit and I curl into his chest hoping this wouldn't end in another Bakugou family argument. "You can stay in there with him tonight Katsuki." My mom whispers quietly and she goes to negotiate with Auntie. He just turns around, giving an annoyed sight before hightailing it to the guest room so I can curl up and sleep.

Kacchan toes the door open gently so he doesn't jostle next around and lays me on top of the bed. He turns on the fan and gently strips my shirt off, already knowing my favorite sleeping conditions. I feel myself slide under the silken covers as he makes sure that I'm comfortable. He takes off his shirt before climbing into the other side of the bed. I'm slightly more awake than earlier and I slowly tug on Kacchan's pinky until he scoots closer. I feel the air conditioning turn on and I know it's going to be a cold night again. I immediately curl up against whatever's the warmest when my mom does this, and in this case Katsuki is the warmest thing near me thanks to his quirk. He immediately curls around me and I feel him sigh as the tension in his muscles fades. I slowly drift of to sleep as the thumping of his heart soothes my worries. "My Kacchan" I whisper quietly before my consciousness fades into a dream.
