"Well, that is a topic for another time. Let's talk about the results of your scan. Shall we?" Poppy promptly changing the topic.

"So Harry, you have gotten many injuries from your relatives. The worst of which have healed, most likely due to your magic. Your back is the worst that still hasn't healed, is because you haven't had them looked at or tended to. They will be easily healed but there will certainly be scars. Unfortunately, your wrist has healed incorrectly and is out of alignment. We will have to re-break it and then put it back in its place. You are, of course, severely malnourished which we will start treatment immediately. You will take a nutrient potion at breakfast and then eat a good portion of food."

Severus is looking at all the injuries that Harry has gotten over the years and is shocked. His mother was bad but she wasn't this bad, she just hit him when she got drunk, which was about once a week. But Harry's relatives beat him almost every day. He is angry. He is mad at Harry's relatives and at the situation, but mostly he is mad at himself. He had treated Harry awfully from his first class and made it nearly impossible to allow the child to trust him. Normally Severus can identify the abused kids at the sorting feast or within the first week.

Harry nods, knowing that even though he tries to eat a decent amount at every meal, he still can't eat the amount that everyone else eats at each meal.

"Also, we need to inform the Ministry. You are underage and need to be cared for but in order to pull you from the Dursley's custody we need to supply a reasoning to."

Harry's head shoots up at this. "What?! No, we can't."

Severus has an idea as to what is going through Harry's mind and can't say he blames him. "Harry, we have to remove you from the situation and in order to do that we need to tell those that have the power to remove you."

"No. Can't Sirius take care of me? He is my Godfather and should have had custody of me from the beginning."
"Harry, he is still an escaped convict. He hasn't been cleared from his charges despite the fact that he is innocent." Severus explains, with more patience than he thought he had.

"What about a retrial? Can't we get him tried again? What was said at his original trial anyways that made him convicted?"

"There was no trial Harry? There was a witness., Peter Pettigrew. He saw everything that happened that day."

"What do you mean? Even if a statement was given he should still have been tried! What if he was framed, because he was!"

"I know Harry. We can try and get a re trial but it is very unlikely."

"I don't care. Trying and failing is better than not trying at all. I want to talk to Dumbledore."

Severus nods and sends a patronus to Albus. A few minutes later the Headmaster walks through the Hospital Wing doors. "I was summoned?"

"Yes. Harry wished to talk to you." Severus says. Albus turns to Harry and asks.

"What is it my boy?"

"Why wasn't Sirius given a trial?"

Albus's smile falters and says, "Peter Petigrew was there and saw what happened. Obviously he framed Sirius."

"Let's demand a trial then. Reason to the Ministry. Tell them that saying they would be willing to give him a trial would draw him out of hiding. They would need to actually give him a trial otherwise they would get the reputation of not keeping their word. Which, Siri is innocent and that would be proven at the trial."

Severus is shocked at how Harry had planned. "That is actually a good plan. I am impressed, Harry."

"Why? You think I can't plan things?"

"I never said that I just am shocked at how cunning that plan is. That is a plan I would expect from a Slytherin. Not some dimwitted Gryffindor."
"At least Gryffindors don't try and start something to get someone else in trouble. We always do things for other people and not for personal gain." Harry retorts.

"Touche." Severus says.

Harry smiles victoriously before turning back to Albus. "Can we do that then?"

"I don't see why not. It's worth a shot anyways." Albus says carefully. Knowing that it shouldn't be too hard to convince the Ministry to do that.

"Good. I want to get Sirius cleared as soon as possible."
"I know you do Harry." Albus says. "Well, if that is all I will go back to my office and request the trial."

Harry nods and lies back down on the bed. Albus leaves and Severus sits back down beside Harry. Harry turns to Severus and asks. "Can I leave yet?'

"I think so." Severus says while sending a questioning look to Poppy.
"Yes you can. Just remember, you need to eat good sized portions at each meal."

"Yes Ma'am." Harry says.

"Go on, get changed."

Harry jumps out of the bed and rushes behind the screen to get dressed in his normal clothes and rushes out of the Hospital Wing with a smile on his face.

Poppy laughs and shakes her head. Severus smiles, he is glad to see a smile on the young teen's face once again.

An/ Whew! That was kind of hard to write. What is going to happen next? You tell me what you think should happen. To all my readers in America happy 4th of July even though it is the 5th in 45 minutes.
