"Of course pup."

The Golden Trio make their way to the Gryffindor Tower. Hermione immediately brings out her books to the table that Harry and Ron sat down at. Ron rolls his eyes at Hermione's antics and shakes his head. Hermione sees this and defends herself.

"Sorry that I actually care about my studies. Need I remind you that we take our OWL's in 3 days and you two aren't taking them seriously. We need to get at least Exceeds Expectations in all of our classes, not to mention the OUtstanding in Potions, in order to be allowed into them next year."

"I suppose we could study a bit don't you think? Ron?" Harry agrees with a sigh.

Ron makes a face at the thought of studying and Harry laughs.

"Ron, we do need to get good marks in the subjects that are required to be an Auror. You still want to be an auror don't you?"

Ron groans loudly and stands up at the same time as Harry. "Yes, I do."

Hermione is shocked that Harry got Ron to agree to study. No matter how much she has bugged him she has never gotten him to study ahead of time. But, one word from Harry and Ron agrees, albeit grudgingly, to study.

Harry and Ron come back down with their books and start studying. They study until lunch and then return to studying, although after lunch they move to the library so they have more references for the topics they were trying to memorize.

That is how Sirius finds them several hours later when they didn't appear at dinner.

"Studying hard I see." Sirius says, scaring all three of the teens.

"Yeah, OWL's are in a few days so we figured we should at least study once." Harry says.

Sirius just smiles at his godson and his friends. "Well, your studying must have worked up an appetite. How about you walk with me back to the Great Hall?"

"We missed dinner?" Ron asks, shocked.

"No, you are just late, there is still plenty of food for you."

Ron sighs in relief. The thought of missing a meal was laughable, to him eating is the most important time of the day.

"Come you guys. Let's go to the Great Hall."

The trio gather their things and put them in their satchels and follow Sirius. They reach the Great Hall in no time, all of them deep in thought. Sirius sits down along with his godson and friends. The other 5th years and Weasley's bring the trio out of their thoughts and talking with people. Hermione and Ron immediately start filling their plates with food Harry, however, doesn't start filling his plate. Harry pushes the plate in front of him away. "I'm not hungry. I'm going to go up to the Common Room. Come up when you're done ya?"

"Sure Harry. But you really should eat something." Ron says worriedly.

"I'm fine, don't worry."

Ron isn't convinced but allows Harry to go. Sirius is concerned at the fact that Harry isn't eating. Sirius stands up and follows Harry out of the Great Hall. He catches up with Harry just down the next corridor over from the Great Hall.

"Hey Pronglet." Sirius says to gain Harry's attention.

"Hey Siri."

"Is everything alright?"

"Yeah. Everything is fine, why are you asking?"

"You didn't eat that much at lunch and you didn't eat anything at all for dinner. I was just concerned."

"I'm fine… I'm just not hungry right now."

"You promise that is all?"

"Yes Siri. That is all."

"What are you planning on doing while everyone else is at dinner?"

"Homework I guess. It needs to be done and I don't want to give the teachers reason to give us more just before OWL's."

"I get it. I always thought that it was overkill to give us homework the week of exams."

"You're telling me. You couldn't have convinced Remus to not give us homework?"

"Sorry kiddo… It's not my call. He may be my friend but he takes his job very seriously and wants to make sure that you know what you are going to be tested on. Especially since you didn't have a practical the entire year until he took over teaching."

"I know, he is the best Defense teacher we've had."

"He does know what he is doing. He was one of the best in the year except Potions and Transfiguration."

"Really?"

"Yes, your father was quite good at transfiguration."

"What about mum?"

"She was always second in the individual classes but she was top of the class because of her consistently good grades and never got in trouble."

"So she was like Hermione?"

"No. Hermione gets in more trouble because of the two boys in her life but on her own, yes. She was like Hermione."

The two men reach the Gryffindor Common room quickly after the last statement.

Harry starts his homework and is joined by Ron and Hermione about 20 minutes later. Hermione finishes first (of course) so she pulls out a book she checked out of the library for some additional reading recommended by their teachers. Harry is the next one to finish at 11 o'clock. He goes to bed to ensure that he falls asleep before 2 AM as he has been the past few nights.

Harry lies awake for 45 minutes before hearing Ron come into the dorm. It is only about 5 minutes before Ron is laying in bed and another 3 minutes later he is asleep. Harry manages to fall asleep about half an hour after Ron. The dorm is filled with soft, even breathing.
