OTP: Carol x Therese.
A/N: Sometimes you'd inculpate yourself for something you didn't take responsibility but mainly; guilt. Was always something that a person perseveres on themselves. Remember that you are lucky to have someone beside you. Take care!
Brunch
It was one of those nights where Carol and Therese usually felt amorous for one another. That long hectic night of tremendous lovemaking. It gotten really intense and a little rougher than usual since it was only the day before it happened. Then it was finally the next morning, as Therese found herself huddled into Carol as the blonde held her, cradling her into her arms. Then Therese after all notices the bites and bruises Carol's body from the intensity of it. It was everywhere, her shoulders, slightly above from her collarbone, neck, literally every inch of the woman's skin. There they had it, love bites and every kiss they shared together.
The blonde then immediately wakes up with a small mewl that passed her lips.
Carol was already wide awake, as she got herself out of bed. She gently rubbed the stiff bones and sores that remarked around her body as she stretched every part of her body, as she palpates her bared shoulders as she rubs it with a mild pace, once a small sigh escaped her lips. Therese had a little guilt for that night, but it wasn't her intentions to hurt Carol. Or hopefully hurt isn't the exact even if it was used correctly. The brunette then places her hands behind Carol's shoulders and rubbed them tenderly without a word she mentioned before they woke up.
"I'm sorry, Carol."
Carol took the younger woman by the side of her waists as she turns around, grasping her from the bottom of her ribs, reassuring her as she gazes acutely into the brown-hazel eyed woman. "Ohhh it's okay, my darling." She cupped her cheek as she caressed her temple, wiping the diminutive noticeable tear droplets that was developing from Therese's eyes. Carol couldn't tell the truth but keep it to herself but she was still really amused and contented from the night before. She knew that it wasn't entirely Therese's fault, and it wasn't necessarily her intentions. I mean she was older so she obviously couldn't have Therese take the blame. They were both elaborated in it so it didn't matter. What mattered the most to the both of them that they were happy. Always.
The brunette was still in her bra, the two were both naked but Carol also had her cinnabar recurring tessellated plaid robe wrapped around her torso and such as the clothing was prolonged and profitable to be worn either way. Especially if it was worn by Carol.
"Listen, it's not entirely your fault, Therese. It will mend. I'm sure of it. Why don't you go freshen up and I promise... we'll go out for lunch. My treat, Alright?"
Therese just gives a sacred nod as she sobs quietly, nose stifling as she immediately buries her face into Carol's neck, slightly leaning onto her collarbone as her brown luscious hair hits the tip of the blonde's temple with a soft whip of exhilaration. "I... I love you." her muffled voice as she implied, face buried into Carol's clavicle
"I love you too, dear," Carol clings onto Therese's sides, positioning herself as her hands met the brunette's bared shoulders as she leaned in for a toward response. She plants a light peck onto the younger woman's forehead, causing her body to heat up as her rosy cheeks start to tinge a color of pink, losing context with her deep desires that led through her mind, flourishing with passion. Almost a whisper... has passed those red delectable lips. Angelic eyes glimmer as the hue repeatedly glared her reflection of Carol, pupils dilating. "Now go on, my love. Get dressed."
Carol has always cherished every moment with the person she was absolutely fond of, regardless of what she is or for what purpose she had. It didn't matter to Carol if she had bites or a bad ridicule mark on her body, just as long as she had Therese. She was her love. And it will always be Therese; no matter what outcome it is in depth to.
The words 'I love you' has always appealed to Carol, especially when she hears that small phrase, it makes her awfully flustered when the young woman mentions it. They had deep affinity that led to the two. Very compassionate.
After Carol reassured Therese from the contretemps, she then watches the young brunette sway herself towards the wardrobe with more than a variety full of the two woman's clothing in their department. Carol was happy, quite amused to share her closet with the true love she has always absolutely adored for how many years, Carol didn't forget about how much she spent so time with Therese, especially with sharing the wardrobe, she hasn't counted or misspoken, or did she?
The blonde gazes up at Therese, the tint of full-colored blue met eyes with the brunette as her pupils dilate, the diagram of the ocean has always showed how much Carol's eyes were so breathtaking. Especially her in general. Nothing nor nobody compared to a woman of foundation, deep senseless compassion she had. Some couldn't really read her. Except, they could find her very fascinating.
Therese opened the brown vintage denoting with embellishment of authentic garments patterned around the closet as it seals when its secured. She picked up a beige creamed pullover with a fabric texture of Viscose and Cellulosic fibres; combined. It was a perfect bodice for the weather, especially when it was thin and partly delectable. The young woman bungles herself into the clothing, expeditiously. Meanwhile, the brunette has huddled herself into a pair of grey variegated streak of red, a skirt she's been hankering on for a elongated width of time. She remembered the exact time and day when Carol bought her the clothing. Therese literally felt like her lover has spoiled her that day. The variety of garter sets, repro sweaters that honestly looked beautiful on Therese. She never forgot or lost memory of that day. The woman felt memore. Occurring to the fact of external stimulus from fascination that flourishes in.
Carol instantaneously studies the other woman, vacantly. Carol has always thought that she was a charm. A gift. An angel. She was her soulmate. And will be the only one in the time of her life besides anyone else. She had a brisk smile curve her the corner of her lips as she deeply thought that outfit looked tremendously familiar to the blonde, especially when the thoughts would overcome.. she'd get brittle and quite trembly when it came to things like this. Then it rang a bell! She remembered exactly where and what that outfit was from. It was perfect for her, Carol thought, "I remember this set of yours. I bought it for you that day. On Fulton street, I'm astonished to see you wear it. It's lovely." The blonde implied, without breaking her thick gaze away from the brunette as Therese started to 'take a trip down memory lane' when it all appealed to her, during the mind of harking back into those memories.
"Yeah. I realized that it was just sitting in the closet, thought I'd give it a day out, I suppose. Especially when it hasn't been worn."
Carol nodded, leisurely. Smirking as she studied her lover with a sharp gaze that made her feel overly obliged. "I know. It looks... stunning. You look stunning." The blue tall eyed woman managed to make the younger frail blush. After all, it wasn't exactly her intentions. Or was it?
Therese felt her cheeks heat up; quickly. Her gut telling her to stop consterning, but her heart was still throbbing from that deep affection she seeks into Carol. Her stomach churning, as it rumbles with butterflies. Indeed, the spontaneous woman gave Therese butterflies each time she complimented her, it was fully endearing. Eyes glisten with a soft tremulous light that sparked.
The blonde has always knew that nothing but her love for Therese wouldn't give up anything but herself. Though, Therese was quite deeply fond infatuated with the older woman. She loved her. That was it.
After quite a while, Carol didn't do anything but approach the girl with a lento pace, "Yep. This definitely rang a bell. It's adorable, Therese!" Carol fiddled with the hem of Therese's cloth skirt of fabric. Still restraining herself from recalling the day she bought the brunette the very pleasant set. Therese leers broadly, ear to ear; as she heard the other woman's diplomatic words that appealed to her. Chest from heart.
The shorter woman was gratuitous, oddly but highly strung. A feeling she couldn't scat that mended to her. Therese gives the other woman a sheepish smile that had her cavernous in the feels. Carol admired her lack of skepticism. She knew how much Therese was confidence for her beliefs. That's what she honestly profoundly lurks into her angel. "Sorry I disturbed you, darling. I better go back to what I was doing." Carol immediately conjects in context without distraction.
"Hey, you never disturb me. I appreciate your presence, especially when you're here. Your admiration is all that I care for. Don't worry," Therese's words were among from her will. Carol then disrupts the other woman with a warm rapid kiss on Therese's tender lips. The young girl begun to get mixed feelings, the warmth of touch that was presented by Carol against her was just very breathtaking. She couldn't restrain herself from pulling Carol back into the kiss but knew that they'd get distracted. She savored that kiss, feelings still sterling but she was quite hasty. Carol couldn't really implement anything besides leer and look at her soulmate. Therese-then had a speechless expression appearing onto her face that got her into a flustering mood after Carol stormed out of the room.
After Carol got herself settled behind the door of their bedroom, she was finally out in the hallway, slumping against the wall, contemplating about what she has witnessed. Her beautiful lover was everything she cared for. She couldn't restrain herself from her own actions. It was impossible to kiss a person whom is just so delightful. The blonde let out a deep breath; sigh of relief. Murmuring things to herself as she headed towards the toilet.
⁕
Therese had everything. She was ready, her shoulder bag around her torso from her forearm. Something she'd usually keep her vintage camera in, and her currencies in a miniature sewed cadet cornflower pouch she'd kept for many years for her savings. She heaved the strap from her shoulder that was brought more towards her collarbone with a soft tug as she waits for Carol who was in the bedroom for quite a while, most felt like decades. Therese has always admired her camera for how many years. She wouldn't let anything bad happen to it especially if she's studied and shared memories with it for not many years ago. As she assiduously held one's horses, she fiddled moderately with her camera, just analyzing it as she plopped herself on the (shit-brown-colored) sofa that she slouched on. Therese was used to the fact of waiting for the other woman. She can take as much time in the world. It wouldn't presume to the brunette. Maybe even decades. She can wait. As she waited, and waited, she then heard a loud sweep as she watched the wholly doorknob turn clockwise with a slight budge from the hinges as it made a small creek. Therese had a glimmering, exhilarating expression that drenched her whole face as she inspects her elegant significant other with a sharp stare this time. Her eyes scintillating as the hue of light hit her pupils, the beauty that attracts from her. Her eyes chuffing as she met eyes with her lover that exits the bedroom.
"Sorry dear, for the wait. Are you all set?"
Therese admired Carol in a gorgeous collared blouse with a texture of linen and chintz pattern. It was short, the exact perfect fit for her especially when she fits anything. Her polyester skirt with a tint of sapphire that covered her knees completely, with a lavalliere that was tethered around her bertha garment material from her collar. She attired remarkably in that depth which led Therese to gasp inaudibly, with a speechless expression that toned her face, as exhilaration bliss. Her stomach began to turn, thoroughly. Having a feeling with parched sense. The brunette immediately got up from her seating without breaking her gaze off of Carol. She had her camera, book, and a thingamabob, all grasped into her hand as she swiftly wraps her bag around her shoulder; as her body grew hotter. "Um.. y-yes. Of course." Therese nodded, thickly. As she sprints shyly towards the blonde. The two women budged theirselves out of the door, as Therese was the last to lock it. She then had to remind Carol every time they went out somewhere if she was "forgetting anything". Which was mainly Therese's go-to phrase.
"Wait, Carol. Are you sure you have ever -"
"Goodness. Yes, dear! I did not forget anything, I promise." Carol titters, inwardly. As she almost forgot that Therese had to jog her memory, again. Therese chuckles, shyly. Continuing to race over her thoughts to Carol from before.
"Okay. I mean, whenever we go out you're always forgetting the car keys, your wallet, your purse, your-" Therese went on-and-on about Carol's hysterical flaws that occasionally made the brunette strike a laugh, until Carol interrupts her from finishing off her sentence.
"Alright! Alright, I get it. I'm a loathsome of ridicule." Carol emerged herself, as she went deeper into her concept of beliefs.
"You're neither of those things. All I'm saying is that you should probably be more.. as sure as eggs is eggs."
Carol didn't do much but burst out a peek of heavy laughter that she couldn't restrain herself from guffawing at the other woman's words that she couldn't get in control of. As the brunette was extremely bewildered about the woman's actions that made her stomach churn with embarrassment. "What the hell did you just say, Therese?" The blonde catechized the younger woman as she snickered between those words.
"Umm.. What do you mean?"
"That silly thing you remarked just a second ago,"
"'Be as sure as eggs is eggs?'"
Carol couldn't hold in her laughter that briskly made her radiance light up.
"Carol!"
"Oh, I'm sorry, honey. When you say it, it's just amusing. I love that."
Therese let out a desolated sigh that passed her lips as she kept her eyes peeled down to the calcined concrete floor then back at Carol as she spoken once more. "I'm being serious." Therese says. "You should really have commemoration in yourself."
Carol lets out a breath that swished into the air as her feelings begun to lend to her with a mixture of guilt and mortification.
She knew that it wasn't a bad thing, but she knew that Therese was long gone right about that what she has stated. It mended to her that the gnawing in her was distressing, but she glistened.
The two remarkable women have just made their way outside of the apartment building. The air that swayed clockwise from natures as the fog mushed together with pollution and that dull grey sky that muffles through the balmy stratus surface that lade from the reducing effect of gently sooth. The chit chattery that led towards the sidelines of the street. It was just a blumerous day in New York, weather changes. It snows, not too many endorse the city but some grew up in such a fascinating place which was quite pulchritudinous.
It was currently 11:23 a.m. on the Lower level of 79 St. that was near 4th Ave.
Carol and Therese would usually have lunch or coffee at a café called Café Atelier. It was fundamentally their go-to place substantially for coffee or just beverages in general.
The two have just settled themselves into the café. Seats been taken as they got their usual on the menu. Carol would just order a cup of coffee with two creamers and one sugar with cinnamon depending on what her sensation conveys suggested, until Therese coaxed her into ordering a meal on occasions since all she'd get was her usual refreshment that helped her remedy; circumstances. The brunette would once in a while drink coffee but she'd prefer a hot cup of tea or any beverage besides coffee now. Therese ordered a dish of Pastrami on rye, Profiterole, lox and schmear. What they'd originally refer it as was a delicious; fancyfrancourse. For now, Carol would just get a usual of Pan roasted vegetables and a grilled swiss cheesed bacon yeasted bagel sandwich. It was probably one of Carol's favorite thing to eat now for lunch since she was used to fact of ordering it now.
"Do you like your meal, Therese—honey?"
Carol warmly leers at the younger woman with commending pleasure from across the table. She took another masticate bite on her bagel sandwich as the melted cheese splotched, chewing, as she covered her mouth with her hand as her fingertips touch her red sultry lustrous lips.
"It's delicious. I mean I almost get the same thing when we come here. What about yours?" Therese says. In a sanguine tone that remarked her whole expression on her celestial face with jarring passion.
"Mhm. It's quite appetizing. Wouldn't say the best thing I've tasted since I only take a coffee here, but it's delightful."
Therese peered conceitedly, at the wonderful blonde's words. Sipping her tea in a subdued procedure as she curls her fingers around the sweltering cup with a light grasp.
"So...about what you said earlier," Carol paused, as she lets out a dim sigh that was obligatory to escape her lips. "I just wanted to let you know that I'm prospering well. I endorse your advice, my dear."
"That's great to hear. And you're welcome, Carol." Therese sets her steaming cup down as she slopes down from the right side of her seat as she hurriedly grapples suitably onto her bag and morally uplifts her camera more ushered against the front of the table as she leans and analyzed it more into it with a decent gaze. She emerges herself into getting the thing turned on while she wholly's the aperture and focusing ring that she brings up into the equidistant center surface of her eyes that was prevailed to Carol.
"Oh, darling! Please, not again with that thing."
Carol wasn't exactly mortified but she could get shy in front of that thing Therese was holding up-in-front of the woman. Therese giggles humorously without breaking that sharp gaze with Carol from the film of the camera. "And..." the giggly brunette took a sudden snap of the shot that she satisfied with as she pressed down onto the upwards part of camera from the side. " - got it." The young woman visualized how the shot turned out especially if it had to do with Carol related with her heavenly magnificent self.
"Oh goodness, my love. You better take other pictures of stuff besides me before I become the whole damn camera roll."
Therese couldn't do anything but nod and Carol's attractiveness that led deeply inside of her. The shivers begun to run down the girl's spine as she squirms in her seat out of her own grasp as she felt an agitated feeling that grew more thoroughly into her stomach that made her go crimson.
"Carol.." Therese pauses. As she distinctively considered the process of her words that was about to slip over her mouth. "I didn't get to mention this earlier back at your- the apartment, but you look lovely today."
The blonde woman was quite stopped in her tracks for a minute as Therese's words appealed to her and meant the world to her. Especially Therese herself in general. She didn't commit anything except she averted her own gaze from Therese then went completely pale red; garnet. Carol could not resist herself from suddenly grasping onto her lover's hand that was compressed onto the table as she had her camera fiddled into her other hand. She looked at Therese once more, staring into her hazel-brown eyes with a modest connection that blossomed between them. She intertwined their fingers together, gently rubbing her knuckles with her thumb. Carol was after all initially convulsed (but in a positive amused way). "You make me flattered. You don't look to bad yourself, dearest." Carol wanted to say more, but she didn't want the other woman having a heart throbbing conjunction that would make her mind explode into little thin pieces. Seeing Therese turn red as tomato would just make Carol burst into laughter which was quite commodious for her.
Therese was pleased to see her lover take the compliment that she has proposed. It was quite ravishing, she thought. The touch of the blonde woman's against hers was awfully magnanimous. That warmth she couldn't explain at heart that got her terribly redden.
It was a fascinating afternoon for a day out for lunch. The two women was pleased to have that satisfactory for themselves to express how beautiful or lovely one another looked which was as pretty as a picture.
It was already 4 o'clock in the afternoon and the two marvelous woman couldn't explain how pleased they were back at the Café. It was pure. It went wise. They were wise. Especially with words.
After Carol and Therese had made themselves at home in their apartment, the brunette was just observing over her photos she has taken past the hour while at the Café and mostly out in the opening; being optimistic as usual. She was at her desk in the dining room where she'd usually get settled in which was initially her thinking space whenever she can never cudgel one's brains over. She had her photographs marshed flat against the table, camera stationed on her right-hand corner of the desk that led her to sorting out pictures that looked expedient and less expedient. In a way where she realized that art can come in many forms.. But she knew how much photography meant a lot to her even if it can be complicated, occasionally. Therese took each photo that was occupied in both hands as she tried to not make it difficult for herself to organize the mess she made that was scattered everywhere around the desk. Carol was in the other room, bedroom in fact that she took over but had no choice to since she had to make one of those inconvenient - salient calls that she may had to take care of. As pure usual, she'd take a cigarette out of her silver sturdy aluminium case where she kept them occupied. She took heavy drags of it every minute, as she curled her fingertips around the cigarette center. The calls were mostly about parties, events, Fred (her lawyer), and maybe even from Harge. She never expected anything else besides friends or family trying to get in contact with her. She was quite a hectic person and it was morally infuriating for her especially when she had a job at the furniture store. She was lucky to have a job as a mother, an independent woman, but it has always stressed her out, day by day.
As the two women was distracted while doing completed different things, Carol; mainly, was finally fulfilled with everything she has splintered out. It was exasperating, especially when having to worry about so many things that was the less complicated to her. Some were, But she didn't mind it at all. Especially if it wasn't as complicated then taking care of her girlfriend. Her soulmate. Her angel.
Minutes, maybe even hours passed.. Carol got up from the edge of the bed and stretched out her numb muscles along from her stiff bones that made her pulsed as she stood on her feet, sauntering towards the door that was shut sealed connectedly. She twiddled the doorknob open and made her way down the hallway towards the room where her lover was. As soon as she made her way towards the dining-room, Carol noticed and witnessed her adorning angel in the chair, slouched and toward, face laid against the table trampledly. Carol's eyebrow arched as she studied her lover who have fallen asleep. The mess of photographs scattered everywhere around the table was a bit cluttered. Some were also treaded onto the ground that wasn't a concept the woman was going for.
After a deep stare and inspection into the brunette, Carol immediately walks over to Therese as she stood behind her, hearing her wisp soft breathing that was gently pressed against her chest. The blonde deliberately places both hands onto the young woman's shoulders, as she begun to whisper softly, leaning more into her lingering ear. "Therese," Carol murmurs soothingly into the girl's ear, as she tucked errant strands of hair behind the brunette's ear with a sudden arouse. " - darling, wake up." Carol cautiously shook her, by her forearm. She noticed the small groans that came from the other woman that made the blonde smile, broadly, ear to ear. The wakeup call may not be what she was expecting but she had no choice to wake her up. But although, she has always loved the gentle feeling that lingered into Carol while watching her soulmate sleep. It was heaven, calm and alluring.
Therese opened her eyes, at a snails pace; once she met eyes with a hue light source of blue and gleaming that led to her pupils. She tilted her head, as she rises it up with a decent glare that she made eye contact with. Carol was still slightly behind her, but now beside from her as she held Therese by the side of her arms, grasping them sensitively as she smirks at her lover who was still lurched into her seat. Once the two made eye contact with each other, their eyes glistened.
"How long have I been asleep?" Therese asked, the sound of exhaustion that toned her voice with a hasty beam.
"Not sure. I've been in the bedroom since then making a few calls. I just found you here out like a light." Carol mentioned. "I thought you'd still be awake," Carol's lips, that curved the corner of mouth that turned into a smirk. "Although, I did enjoy watching you sleep, not gonna lie."
Therese smiled. "What time is it?" The young woman asked, shyly.
"Seven. Slightly almost Eight o'clock."
"Geez. Already?"
"What can I say..? Time flies, baby." Carol expressed. Confidently.
Therese could only snag a smile, derisively. She got up from the piercing squawking wooden chair and stood on her feet, gasping feebly, as soon as she notices her trampled photos that were laid and scattered around the dining area, even some pictures that is bulked to her, were underneath the table. She sprinted and scurried onto the ground as she begun to pick up her photos, in each hand, muttering something under her breath. Then there was Carol, leaning toward beside the other woman as she pitched in and assisted on helping her. "Here, lemme help." Carol took as many photos in her hand, grasping them carefully as she gazed thickly into one of the photos she recognized.
"Darn, I remember this day. We went to a beach back in Montauk point. Ah, it was quite a lovely time there. Cute how little hermits were crawling up on your feet."
Therese begun to stimulate that day where she and Carol visited a beach near that point which was half an hour and twenty-nine minute drive. "Right. I remember that I couldn't get a single shot of the view 'cause of those crabs which startled me." The two shared a laugh, as Therese went on, "But until I saw you, you looked perfect for a shot. You're worth a snap."
Carol smiled, from ear to ear. Hearing those remarkable words that came out of the lovely ladies mouth which quite flabbergasted her in a sequence. She was blessed. The heartwarming things her lover says to her. It meant so much to her, it almost feels like her heart would thrust along from Therese, she might've even have heart palpitations. Therese is and her only one. She had mourning affection for her. She was the one she only adored. She loved her.
