What if the protagonist is a man named Simon Shields instead? Welcome aboard to Commodore Simon Shields' ship called Paradox if you are not afraid of the story that is different from the original Sunrider's story.

4. Update on Sunrider and my future plan

As you can see this is not a chapter update on my Sunrider fan fiction. This is because as I was doing more lore research of Sunrider for my next chapter update, I came across this overhaul mod project for the Sunrider. This new mod called Sunrider Refitted is going to provide more lore to the series, and I thought that it would be bad if I continued my fan fiction without knowing more. That is why my Sunrider fan fiction is on hold until I see what kind of new lore exists in Sunrider Refitted. I encourage you guys to see a first glimpse of what this Sunrider Refitted has to offer as there is 8 hours gameplay of Chapter 1: The Fall of Cera available in their official fan mods website.

Looking at how Sunrider Refitted has provided so much lore just from the first chapter made me reconsider how I am going to write my Sunrider fan fiction in the future. That is why even after I see what Sunrider Refitted has to offer, I may have to rewrite my Sunrider Fanfiction a bit. I, however, still going to keep core aspects of fan fiction as my Sunrider fan fiction is the story of Simon Shields and not Kayto Shields. That is why don't worry if you thought that what made you come to read my fan fiction is going to change due to me adjusting according to the expansive lore of Sunrider Refitted. This is because this is the story of Simon Shields and his ship Paradox, not Kayto Shields and his ship Sunrider. That is why be patient and look forward to when I write this again in the future.

This delay doesn't mean that I will be idle, however, as I will now focus on my Kantai fan fiction now that I am relatively free from writing Sunrider fan fiction. I also did my research on the future plot of my Kantai fan fiction recently so I should have a chapter update within one or two weeks. So see you then!
