Emma spent her last day in Boston trying to find a quick way to sell her appartment. Then she decided to go shopping for a while, a little tense from the tiring morning she'd had. She talked to Regina at noon to confirm the hour of her return to Storybrooke. Regina had called her to know if she would be in town for dinner. Apparently, Henry wanted to show her one of his books, and he was quite impatient to do so. Plus, Regina told her she would make lasagna. Since she was free from now on, Emma decided to go shopping, then to go back to Storybrooke a little earlier than what she had intended to do in the first place. But for lasagna, she would do anything. Especially Regina's lasagna. Even when they had been ennemies, she had fallen in love with the dish, asking Henry to invite her when there was lasagna for dinner. Regina hadn't seem to like seeing her way too many times in her living room, but she had seemed to notice Emma's love for the lasagna, and she had never really said anything. She hadn't tried to put anythig nasty in the lasagna to make Emma flee either. So maybe, in a way, lasagna had helped them become best friends, or at least what they were now.
Emma went to several shops, and she laughed several times seeing what they sold. She still had a gift to choose for Regina. She hadn't forgotten. She saw a shop that she thought was fun. She found Regina's present there. She hoped she would like it. It was a little bit funny, a little bit serious, so that Regina would not tell her that it was childish.
She then drove back to Storybrooke, stopping when Regina called her, which was quite often. She then got near the town line. She passed it, and she saw that Regina and Henry were there. Henry ran to her once she stepped out of her car. Regina stayed behind, but Emma told her to join their hug. Then Emma told them to go into the car and she drove them back to town. She followed them to Regina's mansion, and they ate dinner. Then Emma showed them the gifts she had bought for them. For Henry, she had a Star wars sweatshirt and a funny mug. Regina got a beautiful necklace. She looked happy about it, and she even let Emma put it around her neck. The second gift seemed to surprise her. Emma had told the seller that it was a gift, so it was a package, a big package. Regina couldn't see what it was. She tore the paper, and she gasped. Henry laughed. It was a big Stitch plush. Regina gave Emma a hard stare. Emma said :
- Well, I know you are a fan, so I thought it would be a good idea.
Regina lost her serious expression, letting a small smile show Emma how happy she was to receive the plushie. When they watched a movie later, Regina cuddled with the plush. It was really cute.
