Burning Godzilla glared at Ghidorah with his glowing orange eyes and let out a earth-shattering roar. Ichi, Ni, and San both surprised by this new form and bursting energy roared in retaliation taking several steps back to maintain distance from Godzilla. Ichi face stiffened at the sight of him and he noticed several distinct factors he analyzed within himself, his brothers and the battlefield.

First of them was Godzilla; it wasn't just about the power surging inside him or the new appearance but his eyes. Ichi has seen them before during one of his battle in the universe - cold dead burning with pure raw anger and hatred. This was different from those encounters and it haunted him the more he stared into the Kaiju's eyes. If there was a hell the universe, there was one now and Ghidorah was facing its full wrath.

Second factor was the atmosphere; it was tense and shifted with Godzilla new appearance. The storm that Ghidorah created was in conflict as it fought against the generated caused by the glowing Kaiju. It was getting hotter every second and less cool causing the storm to die out and leaving Ghidorah powerless to generate any electricity from it. They already extinguished most of their energy encasing the sky with they're power and the battle against Godzilla. They thought they dealt the last blow against him… they were wrong.

Third and final factor was his brothers, mostly San. Sharing the same body and mind allows them to share the same thoughts and emotions. Right now, San was trembling in fear and that emotion bounced between the Kaiju's minds. Ni, arrogant and headstrong as he was attempted to ward off that motion with anger. Ni however couldn't hide it either and probably wouldn't believe it himself if Ichi had told himself

He too was exhibiting fear…

Ichi was distressed by the fear in Ni but mostly San. Through all they're battles and engagements with the creatures of the universe they have never shown they're opponent the weakness of fear. They always maintained a strong presence and never faltered before their enemy. San was the youngest and Ichi always wanted his brother to follow his lead despite being the clumsiest of the three. He didn't treat San with the same respect as Ni but it's not like he didn't love him either. He always made sure his brothers maintained that terrifying and powerful appearance.

San never became scared as he was always with his brothers obviously and relied on that to stay strong against their enemies. Ichi enjoyed being on top even though he was the middle head with the most control of their actions, he wanted his brothers to follow his approach and live up to his standards and expectations. Seeing them like this cause him to become worried. They were a King, a God. Fear shouldn't even exist within them. Especially with Ni as he was the most aggressive and hotheaded of the three.

Ichi attempted to challenge Godzilla's challenge to mitigate the distressing emotions and inspire his brothers but as he snarled it failed miserably. His throat was tight while his head and neck was tense. He thought the bounce back of emotions between his brothers was causing conflict within his own mind but then he realized one thing.

He too was exhibiting fear.

Each of them controlled they're own head but also combine into a single synchronized mind. They can share everything in terms of information, emotions and reactions to situations. The middle head – Ichi – is the center of that. They can choose to detach from the mind and succumb to they're innermost hobbies in their free time but during battle they combine for that advantage in battle.

Ichi thought that both of them was causing a chain reaction in they're minds that ricocheted that fear but Ichi couldn't deny himself either. He was scared and he knew why as well. He wasn't scared for himself or for the threat they faced but was scared for his brothers. He would've chastised San for such emotions but now the irony of Ichi showing the exact thing he dreaded.

All three of them knew that they were outmatched and as much as they wanted to hold their ground, hold they're pride and become the true King, Ichi knew between the battles they could win and the suicidal ones.

Just as he wanted to call the retreat a presence and sound echoed into they're mind and it gnawed at the inside of they're most complex mind.

Kill… Attack... Destroy…

They couldn't ignore the command despite their greatest efforts. The voice that carried them throughout every battle and every journey in the universe pushed them to challenge the glowing Kaiju. They thought the voice was gone when they were frozen within the ice but it returned upon their reawakening. The voice would be they're downfall as Ichi battled against the command but failed miserably as it demanded action. It took control of them and forced them against their will.

Gathering up they're energy and focusing it to their mouths Ghidorah unleashed they're Gravity's Beams against Godzilla and feared ignited even more as the Large Kaiju tanked the hits barely budging.

He gave absolutely no fucks with the amount of rage fuming within the Kaiju himself. His queen perished and all Godzilla was looking for ways to destroy Ghidorah. Godzilla radiated repeatedly and unleashed a lethal orange pulse with distinctive shapes that seemed like Mothra's wing. Her voice was suddenly heard and as Ghidorah braced for the impact the shear amount of pain they felt was unimaginable.

Wing membranes and muscle tissue disintegrated while scales and flesh seared and burned. The amount of heat generated against them was too much and left the Golden King Flightless. Any chance of escaping was now too late. Without they're wings they were grounded and now centered against the overpowered Kaiju.

Ichi noted with the Fallen Queen call that her power was given to Godzilla. He always thought the Moth was just a mere overgrown insect. How he was horribly wrong by the magic or sorcery she was capable of.

Her death only gave birth to the reborn Kaiju who wanted nothing more than death of Ghidorah. Any other form of emotion was swept away. There was only 1 priority the Kaiju wanted and that was Ghidorah… to… DIE.

Enduring the volumes of pain that soared throughout they're body Ghidorah attempted another attack. This was it for them and Ichi felt it himself. How he have failed himself and most importantly… how he failed his brothers.

Before they could react tho Godzilla had already unleashed another pulse against the dragon and Ichi cried in horror and his brothers head were disintegrated. The sound of his brothers call haunted him and like a instant the connection between all three of them severed and Ichi was left to alone.

"ICHI!" San roared as he was turned into ash.

"I have failed you… brother," Ni said suffering the same fate.

Ichi felt his chest swell tightly and his vision blurred not knowing tears were forming in his eyes. His brothers were gone and wanted to believe that there was still a away to beat Godzilla. He didn't want to admit his brother were dead. If Ichi dies, if the body dies, they die. They're would be no regeneration process as they're wouldn't be enough energy inside, they're bodies to rapidly regenerate the lost cells and tissue.

King Ghidorah also noticed that the extreme heat generated was damaging they're cells. They would've started regenerating the second they were disintegrated but nothing was happening. The blood and tissue only boiled and burned under the tremendous head obtained in the attack.

Ghidorah or Ichi as he was the only one remaining of the heads attempted to shake off the pain and looked towards Godzilla again who already closed in the gap between them. Godzilla kicked Ichi into the chest causing him to lose balance. All the muscle he lot on his wings disrupted the center balance and Ichi fell to the ground.

Ghidorah did something he never thought he would do as pride refused aid against a one versus one situation and called out to the Fire Demon Rodan for aid. None came and Ichi suspected the Fire Demon was officially dead from the battle against Mothra. Within those few seconds he had to dwell he was troubled by the Fire Demons demise as he taken a liking to his followers' loyalty. However, Rodan was dead and so were his brothers. This enraged Ichi who wanted Godzilla to suffer.

He watched as the Kaiju stepped onto his chest and started into Ichi's eyes. Whether or not Godzilla stopped out of mercy or to give one last laugh before killing him, Ichi roared in agony, grief, and vengeance. "I'll kill you!" Ichi cried knowing Godzilla could not understand his alien language.

In a futile attempt to kill Godzilla by taking him with him. Ichi spurred the inside of his body with his remaining energy and overloaded his regenerative cells. A last resort mechanism none of them brothers ever thought they planned on using as they were believed to be the most powerful Kaiju in existence. Ichi – King Ghidorah – gave one last earth-shattering roar but his body detonated in a powerful visible electromagnetic explosion and engulfed the city.

Ichi fell into darkness and felt as if he was floating in water

His mind searched for the comfort of his brothers, but found none. He searched endlessly but could never find anything. He was alone… in darkness… trapped.

He accepted death and closed his mind off from whatever dark universe he dwelled inside.

The Golden King… was dead
