Hello, everyone!

I'm back...

...after over four months...

...is anyone even still here? If you are, then I'm very, very, VERY, sorry you had to wait this long. T.T

Anyway, I'm bringing you the 23rd and final chapter of The World Kanon Only Knows...

...and maybe something more.

Anyway, since it's the last chapter, the author's notes at the end are going to be longer than usual, but there will be a few interesting things there, so I recommend you check it out after reading the chapter.

Anyway, let's bring this show on the road.

(* * *)

Previously on The World Kanon Only Knows:

Kanon and Keima return to Shiratori estate after their tour-around-the-town ended with a reversal proposal from Kanon, only to find that Kaori and Hinoki have gotten everyone drunk. On another day Keima and Kanon announce their engagement, starting with Mari and then battle to make Kanon's parents agree to the marriage. Kanon and Keima marry during a small wedding ceremony near a lake and a wedding party ensues, which includes a concert by Kanon and Eri singing and dancing side-by-side and Kanon teasing her newlywed husband a lot. :P

Let us see how the married life of Kanon and Keima looks like, shall we? ;)

Enjoy!

"Kanon-chan," the pink-haired woman turned around when she walked into the corridor. She had just finished her voice acting recording session. This was her last job for today and it was time to leave when a person, a woman Kanon's age, approached her. Kanon would immediately be able to recognize the person was from the press even if she didn't have a mic and there wasn't a cameraman behind her.

"Kanon-chan," the woman said, "could we possibly have an interview?"

Kanon's bodyguard wanted to tell them off, but Kanon stopped him.

"Unfortunately if you don't have an appointment I cannot give you a full interview," Kanon told the woman, "but we can talk for a few minutes as I go grab my things. Though no camera, please," she added pointing at the cameraman.

The journalist agreed and followed with a multitude of questions. Some of them were pretty standard, asking about Kanon's career and jobs, and Kanon tried to answer them as best as she could.

All of this felt both very similar and at the same time quite different from her idol job when she had been in her early twenties. Back then she had been doing a lot of jobs: concerts, photoshoots, drama filming, a lot of things really. But her general job had been about being an idol: mostly singing but doing other odd jobs and being generally a someone people could look up to and follow. And her life had been controlled by her contractors and managers.

It had stayed like that for a while, Kanon somehow managing to keep her popularity even with her marriage. Of course, after some time she had had to come clean about this and tell everyone that she was not only not single anymore, but also married. This had been met with a noticeable dent in her popularity, but less than she had anticipated, and while the general industry reaction was mixed, several voices praised her ability to uphold the image of a responsible and model young woman.

Unfortunately, this couldn't last forever. Not only had Kanon felt that the peek of her idol career was upon her, but she had been also growing increasingly weary of not being able to spend enough time with Keima, even if she had been married to him.

Thus, as soon as her career decline had started and she could feel the breath of the competition, she had stepped down. She and Okada had decided that it was for the best: that'd leave the next generation with an example to follow and will make sure Kanon's fans will remember her at her best.

After this, Kanon had become a singer on her own. Of course, she couldn't play instruments so she required a band of some kind. Aside from that she was still doing interviews (which she still didn't like all that much), appeared in advertisements (she was currently the advertisement girl and "brand face" for her favorite manufacturer of stun guns), made photoshoots (although she made sure to never reveal too much) and voice acting for anime and gal games (and enjoyed watching Keima play them afterward).

So, at first sight, she was doing the same things as before, but the difference was that she had more control now. She wasn't tied down by managers. She managed her contracts on her own, wrote the majority of lyrics of her songs herself (with help from Keima), decided whether voice a given character or not.

Another difference was that she wasn't meeting with her fans as often nowadays. Dedicated autograph singing events were rarer, but that didn't mean Kanon had abandoned her fanbase, but it was not so intense, unless during concerts.

"Thank you," Kanon said to the journalist woman politely as usual as she finished getting her things, "I have to go now."

"One last question," the woman asked.

Kanon smiled. "Shoot".

(* * *)

The trip many floors down, through the hall and out of the building took Kanon a few minutes, but thanks to a sizeable crowd of her fans that somehow gathered outside, it took her another 10 minutes till she made the distance of 20 meters that separated her from the street. Finally, Kanon reached and entered the car that was waiting there for her and checking her phone.

She was 20 minutes late. Again.

"You know you could have the security keep the crowd at bay," her long-time driver said from the front seat, "the same goes for that interviewer who appeared out of nowhere."

Kanon shook her head. "You very well know it's not going to happen, Nakamura-san," she told him.

"Apparently so," he agreed. He hesitated before asking, "though what did she ask about in the end?" he added.

"Oh, you see, even after all this time, the press knows surprisingly little about my private life," Kanon explained, "she wanted to know how do I do that."

"And?" the driver prodded, not being able to quench his curiosity. "What did you tell her?"

To his surprise, Kanon smiled a very mischievous and mysterious smile.

"Magic," she said and giggled twice, before looking at the car pane knowingly. Nakamura had no idea what she saw in her own reflection.

"Of course," he replied, as he switched the gear into 'drive' and asking the question he already knew the answer for.

"So where to now, ma'am?"

Kanon pocketed her phone and smiled again.

"Home."

(* * *)

"See you on Monday," Kanon said as the car drove away, leaving her in front of her house.

Her and Keima's house.

After the two of them had been married and their honeymoon had ended the idol, as she had promised, had moved in with Keima. In theory it hadn't been half bad. After all, Kanon loved Keima and Eri. Yes, they had had to do some rearranging and refurnishing and there hadn't been a lot of space, but Kanon had had to return to her work eventually anyway, so she had been rarely at home.

Space hadn't been really a problem: it had only made Keima and Kanon closer. The problem had been that Kanon rarely got to see Keima and even when she did, there had been usually his parents or Eri around. As much as Kanon had enjoyed the company of her in-laws, she had craved for Keima's company even more.

Thus, Kanon had kept her own rented apartment and had gladly used it when she and Keima required more privacy behind the closed door.

Such an arrangement hadn't been perfect and after some time Mari had realized that the chances of Eri getting married sky-rocketed and the house wasn't big enough for everyone, especially if Kanon and Keima were to have a baby. Kanon had leaped at the opportunity. She had left her old apartment and rented a new one, where she and Keima had moved in.

The new place hadn't been exactly stellar either but was bigger than Kanon's previous apartment, while also allowing for the privacy the idol had craved. It had been also the time where their biggest married crisis happened. As restricting as living with in-laws had been, in their own apartment they had to do all stuff by themselves.

For Kanon, it hadn't been really new. And, really, she hadn't minded doing house chores... it was just that she hadn't been home often and when she had, she had wanted nothing more than either rest or spend time with her husband. Keima, on the other hand, as it had turned out, had been relying on his family for house chores a little too long. Needless to say, Keima and Kanon had had more than one argument over this.

Fortunately, they had managed in the end, and after that Keima had employed his amazing resourcefulness to handle things like cooking (sometimes), cleaning and caring for Kintarō (yup, Kanon's long-time pet turtle was still alive and kicking in his slow turtle way), ending their little home crisis. With this, they had been able to live in their cozy apartment and save up money, which hadn't been too difficult with Kanon's career, including the sales of the games she had worked on with Keima before.

Finally, they had been able to get this house. It hadn't been cheap by any measure and, quite honestly, it wasn't paid off yet, but it didn't matter much, as even though Kanon was only 33 now and Keima was 34, she thought they wouldn't ever need another house. It wasn't very big, but it had three bedrooms, a guest room, a sufficiently large kitchen, a spacious living room, and a small garden. Kanon wasn't really greedy (unless when it came to her husband), so this was enough for her.

However, even though the house had been here for several years now, it still seemed surreal to Kanon once in a while even after all this time. Perhaps she had been spending too much time out of the house. Well, at least she had free days during the week. Sometimes, like right now, she even had free weekends.

Kanon went past the gate and up the paved path, before opening the door and entering the house.

"Keima?" Kanon called, but there was no answer. He was not in the kitchen or the living room. She refrained from further calling in case he was asleep. Instead, she walked through the living room and opened yet another door leading to the backside porch and the garden. Sure enough, as soon as she was out she heard a familiar voice.

"Mom!"

Kanon crouched just in time as a brown-haired eight years old girl jumped into her arms.

"Hey, sweetie," Kanon kissed her daughter on the cheek, before shifting the girl a bit to her right, to free her other hand and prepare for another impact.

In vain.

The second brown-haired figure jumped at her. The little boy was 3 years younger than his sister but was almost as heavy as she was and Kanon was toppled back by the combined weight of her children.

"Mommy!" the boy cried out. "You're back!"

"You're late," the girl accused in a much calmer voice.

"I know, mommy's sorry," Kanon said, kissing her son's forehead.

"Why were you late?" the girl pressed further.

"Because mommy has to work a lot," a voice answered from behind the children, and Kanon felt their weight leave her. Kanon looked up and saw her husband helping her get up.

"Welcome home, Kanon," he said, leaning in for a kiss, but he only managed a small peck, as Kanon leaned back.

"You don't have to sound so solemn," she pouted, "I was only gone for one day."

She could hear Keima snort quietly and while she couldn't see it, she somehow knew that her daughter was rolling her eyes too.

"You're right," Keima said, "you being away for only such a short time calls for a celebration."

"Being away? It's called getting out and meeting people," she poked his chest with her finger, "you should try it sometimes."

"But daddy meets people too!" the boy protested. "He met with those two ladies today, I forgot their names."

"It was aunt Shiomiya and aunt Kujō," the girl said immediately and without fail as usual.

"Really?" Kanon and both children nodded their heads.

"Yes, they played with us too," the girl said, which seemed to give the boy ideas.

"Mommy, let's play!"

"Not yet!" Keima said before the boy could pounce Kanon again, "mommy's tired. Maron," he looked at his daughter, "could you set the table for dinner?"

The girl called Maron nodded and trotted in the direction of the kitchen.

"I'll help too!" the boy said but was stopped by his father.

"Oh no," he said, "you spent half the day getting your toys all over the garden, so you should collect them now before the rain starts to fall."

"Do I have to, mommy?" the boy complained.

Kanon crouched. "Be a good boy, Konan-kun, and mommy promises to play with you after dinner."

That was enough and the boy went to collect his many toys.

"Were they a handful today?" Kanon asked. "Usually they keep each other occupied."

"It's a 3-year difference... I think Maron is growing out of playing the way he wants to play," Keima said, "and Konan almost broke the vase in the living room today. That's why I left setting the plates to Maron. No need to risk something getting broken after all."

"Vase?" Kanon asked and Keima nodded. "The one Chihiro gave us a few weeks ago?" another nod. "You do know she'll just give us a new one if it breaks, as usual?"

"Yes, but I didn't like the smirk on her face the last time she did it," Keima huffed, "it's as if she's saying 'what's wrong, can't watch 2 kids without breaking something, otamega?'"

"You exaggerating," Kanon said, "you know she just likes to rile you. For having to take care of the kids when I'm away, you're doing pretty good, you know that," she gave him a kiss, this time lingering longer. Then she pulled back.

"Speaking of Chihiro," she said as she looked at him, her eyes narrowing a bit, "you didn't tell me Tsukiyo and Shiori were going to visit today."

"Because they didn't warn me!" Keima cried out. "Seriously I keep telling everyone to inform me in advance of those things, but they ignore it!"

Kanon looked at him as if he was cheating on her, but couldn't keep it for long and burst out laughing.

"It's not funny!" Keima pouted.

"It kinda is!" Kanon smiled.

"It's easy for you to say! You're not the one married to a yandere!"

"You don't have to worry," Kanon assured, "hiding a body would be very difficult and murder charges would look bad on my CV, so I'm not going to do anything," she said with a sweet smile, "as long as you don't cheat on me, that is."

"I guess I have to make sure you feel like I'm not cheating on you," he said and pulled her closer, kissing her much harder and deeper this time. Any form of tongue wrestling was a rare occurrence nowadays, but Kanon enjoyed it nonetheless. She briefly wondered if this was normal or was it connected to a love-powered goddess inside her.

"I missed you," he said, his hands massaging hers, "even if you were gone for just a day."

"Missed you too, dear," she agreed, hugging him, deciding to stay like that till their kids were done with their chores.

(* * *)

The family ate dinner and after that, as promised, Kanon and Keima played with their children.

Of course, the children stuck to both their parents, but it was also obvious to see that Maron preferred to bug her father, while Konan tended to interact with his mother more.

The reason for that was that Maron and Konan had different personalities and Kanon suspected that it had more to do with their age difference or, more accurately, the time when each of them had been born.

Of course, given their young age and Kanon's career, the young newlyweds hadn't been planning to have children anytime soon and the idea hadn't come up for several years. It had been only later when Mari had started to drop hints, even asking Eri to stop visiting her brother and his wife too often and give them time to themselves, clearly hoping for grandchildren.

Long story short, Maron had been born when Kanon had been 25, at the apex of the then-idol's career. Thus, Maron's earliest memories had been already full of paparazzi, camera flashes, fans, and crowds. The young Katsuragi hadn't taken too kindly to that and had ever since preferred to stay indoors with her father, shielding herself from the unwanted attention, enjoying quiet and growing into a resolute, calm, and sharp-witted child. It had been rather easy to predict how leaving her indoors with her father would end. Indeed, Maron soon had started to exhibit interest in many electronic devices and while Kanon had made every effort to prevent her daughter from developing a gaming frenzy like her father, the girl nonetheless was already happiest when in front of a computer screen, console or a book, immersing herself with games, anime, manga, and Yuutube.

Konan was different. He had been born when the pressure from being the offspring of the famous Kanon Katsuragi (né Nakagawa) had already lessened considerably. Moreover, the little boy had always had the company of his older sister. In result, he was very outspoken and loved people, even in large groups. He always interacted with visitors easily and eagerly (and their house had visitors quite often, it seemed Keima couldn't kiss a girl without her dropping for a visit once in a while or at least calling), while Maron was more shy and tended to hide behind her father most of the time. Furthermore, the little boy probably had already sung more songs in his life than his father ever had, loving to use anything, being it a carrot or a spoon, to pretend he had a mic and dancing with his mother. He also seemed eager to be interviewed, but Kanon kept him away from any journalists, not wanting to risk what would happen if her son's mouth was allowed to run unrestricted.

As for Keima himself, he was still a gamer but hadn't had nearly as much time compared to when he had been in high school, especially during the time from when Maron had been born to when Konan had become 2 years old. Of course, sometimes Kanon and Keima could rely on babysitters. Living in Maijima they rarely had any problems with finding one. Starting from both pairs of grandparents, through Eri (who had no problems whatsoever with playing with Keima's children using firetruck toys) and ending up with whoever of Keima's female friends was in town and available.

Still, this couldn't work in all situations and coupled with the fact that Kanon was out of the house most of the time, leaving many duties to her husband, Keima's career choices were limited. He couldn't work at the office reliably. Moreover, many jobs would restrict his gaming time even further and Keima had refused to do that.

But as they say: do what you love and you will never work a day in your life.

Thus, the first idea had been to work as a game streamer, which worked to an extent, but Keima hadn't stopped there. He had decided to work as a game tester, dealing with any game that was enough to qualify as a galge for him. It had been a good choice since his streaming fame allowed him a contract to get free copies of games to test. Of course, testing had required Keima to play a game for much longer than usual and at times he had been forced to play games he hated, but being able to play galges and being paid to do it had been enough to keep him at it.

That night Maron's and Konan's rooms remained empty, the kids deciding to sleep in their parents' bed, not leaving their mother even for a moment. It was very nice, but when Kanon looked closer at her husband, it was not hard to notice her children were not the only ones who missed her.

Fortunately, she had a fool-proof plan.

(* * *)

The next morning Keima and Kanon took the kids outside, going for various activities. And there was no better place for that than Dezeni Sea in Narusawa City. Maron and Konan were overjoyed, even though Kanon's daughter was, not for the first time, surprised that people were not swarming around them and asking for autographs.

Kanon exchanged a quick look with Keima, knowing that he was also wondering how long could they afford to rely on Apollo's illusion in situations like this.

Ultimately, it was a very active day and in the late afternoon, the family of four visited Mari and Keiichi for dinner.

It was at the dinner that Kanon employed the maneuver she had planned before, asking if the kids could stay at Café Grandpa for the night. Mari wasn't really surprised and allowed her grandchildren to stay and Kanon promised to pick them up in the afternoon the next day.

By the time Keima and Kanon returned home, it was already past 6 o'clock and Kanon decided, that it was to finally relax, just the two of them (well, three of them, counting Apollo).

"I missed this," Kanon said several softly hours later, nuzzling against Keima.

The pair had been mostly chilling, save for a few make-out sessions as if they were teenagers again. They have also listened to some music and they have been looking through their old album, the one with moving pictures that Keima, Eri, Tenri, and Diana made for Kanon's birthday over 15 years ago. Due to its magical nature, they could show it to next to no-one and thus it became a thing just for the two of them. Compared to before, it was filled with many more pictures, and right now it wasn't just Kanon's album, but her and Keima's. It contained pictures from the time they were dating, doing their jobs, their wedding, their marriage, them caring for the children, and even pictures of their friends.

And, seeing as more and more pages were filled with pictures, Kanon decided on a new, more fitting, name for this album: "Full of memories".

The album was now lying on the coffee table in the living room along with two cups of Keima's god-like coffee as Kanon and Keima were sitting, or more like lying, on the couch and watching a movie.

Keima chuckled. "You haven't seen me for a day, you know?"

Kanon snorted. "Who said I was referring to you?"

"It goes without saying," Keima said in his full-of-himself voice, "I'm a god after all-oww! What was that for?" he added nursing his arm where she had punched him lightly.

"Your caring wife making sure it doesn't go to your head."

"Thank you, my dear," Keima kissed her forehead, "but I'm afraid you're a few decades too late."

Kanon laughed, before relaxing against his side.

"Anyway, I meant it's always noisy and everything's happening so fast at work," she went back to her previous thought, "even at home there's not a moment to rest with the kids around. That's why," she snuggled in closer, "this feels nice once in a while."

"Really?" Keima asked, his arm wrapping around her waist and resting on her stomach. "No songs, poems, or lessons... How can it be nice without the things you like?"

"That might be right," Kanon admitted, "but I like you better than all those things," she said as she kissed him on the lips. Keima immediately felt that this kiss was somewhat different. Sure enough, when she pulled back he saw the fire in her eyes.

"Tonight you're not going to play with the kids or your games and certainly you're not going to entertain your guests," she said, suddenly feeling impossibly closer to him than a moment ago, "I want all of your attention on me and I mean all of it," she added, body flush against him.

"With pleasure," Keima smiled, his arms embracing her and starting to draw patterns on her back as they locked lips together again.

(* * *)

It was well past midnight when the sound of the toilet flush woke from her comfortable sleep Kanon. The pink-haired woman moaned softly and turned around, her mind still half-asleep. She frowned a bit as her new position didn't seem good enough. She turned again, trying to get comfortable, but to no avail, her hand searching for something on the empty space beside her. She turned yet back again.

She heard the door to the bedroom open and knew it was Keima, somehow picking up on the way he walked. She felt him get into the bed and lean against her back, spooning her, his hand gently coming up to her stomach. Kanon lips curled into a smile as she leaning back into the familiar firmness of his chest and felt his hand stop.

"You're awake?" Keima whispered in case she was still asleep... which was quickly proved wrong when she rolled, turning to him and getting even closer, her cheek finding his shoulder.

"I guess that answers your question", she replied, her hand lazily draping up and down his chest, but stopped when she saw his troubled expression.

"What?" she asked.

"You're not sleeping enough as it is," he explained, "sorry for disturbing your sleep after I kept you up late."

"Don't be sorry," she said, her hand brushing his hair affectionately, "I'm fine. In fact..." she stretched herself as if it was early morning... very very early morning, "I feel great. I've not felt this good and relaxed in some time."

"In some time, huh?" Keima pouted. "It sounds as I've been neglecting you lately."

"Of course you haven't," she argued and she put her finger to his lips before he could retort, "and if you feel you have then you can do something about it... in the morning," she nuzzled against him, "for now we sleep."

He chuckled "Yes, ma'am."

Kanon smiled and rested her head against him again. Soon Keima's even breathing told her that he was asleep and Kanon felt her eyes close. Feeling happy. Just happy. Like she was where she belonged. It didn't matter if it had to end at one point or which girl would follow after her. Kanon was content.

This was her world.

It was her happy ending.

Her canon.

(* * *)

She woke up as she felt warmth on her face.

She sat up and looked around. The weak autumn sunlight bathing her bed was coming through the gaps in her blinds.

Her bed. Her blinds.

She was in her apartment.

Kanon leaned backward, her back hitting the sheets as she let it sink.

It was done.

She had been asleep for about a day. She was in her apartment because she had gone through this and Eri had agreed to substitute for her and bring her back her when it was all done.

And it was done.

She had gone through with this and it was done.

Honestly, Kanon had been hoping, truly believing, that this entire ordeal would be a good idea, but this... she certainly didn't expect this.

She felt rested. Like really well-rested.

It made sense though. When she had been affected by the Weiss, there had been a weight, a burden on her shoulders. But Keima had saved her from it. However, by doing that he had made her fall in love with him. It had been unrequited and Kanon hadn't been ready to let it go, so it had ended up weighing her as well.

But now, she had been saved from that as well.

She felt free. At peace.

She hadn't felt at peace like this since the time she had remembered Keima... or since the time the Weiss had possessed her.

No, she was wrong. It wasn't longer than that.

She hasn't felt that well-rested in years.

She turned on her bedside radio and got up to open her blinds, before walking to the bathroom to wash up and confirm what she had already felt. The voice, the presence inside of her head that she got accustomed to was not there.

Apollo was no more inside her.

As troublesome as she could be at times, Kanon knew she would miss her. Then again, knowing the ditsy pink-haired goddess and what Ayumi-san was told about Mercury-san, the idol very much doubted Apollo would be gone forever... or even gone for long at all.

When she came back from the bathroom she recognized one of her own songs coming from the radio.

'I'll continue to walk on,' the lyrics went, 'for your sake also.'

Kanon couldn't help, but think how fitting this was. This was her latest song, something she had sung after Keima-kun had come from the past. But she hadn't been ready then to let go... but she was ready now.

She had put that chapter of her life behind her and was ready to walk on.

For her fans.

For the world.

For herself.

And also for Keima.

He wasn't her lover and he will never be one... but they were still friends. Yes, back when they had first met, she hadn't known anyone at school. He might've been rude and uncaring and she might've tased him, but they both went through a lot since then and Kanon believed they were, and would remain, good friends. She planned to cherish that friendship.

Kanon smiled, it might not be the best of ideas considering she had to watch her figure, but she felt like eating pizza. She hadn't had one in ages.

She changed into her 'incognito' clothes, grabbed her purse, and went out of her apartment. When she was going down in the elevator, she pulled out her phone and earpieces and started listening to some music, humming as she did it, the feeling of peace not leaving her mind.

Everything was well.

Now all that was left was to wait for Keima to wake up.

(* * *)

Here it is. The ending of KanonNomi. Keima and Kanon have two kids, their own house and we Keima manages to keep his yandere wife satisfied enough that she even allows other girls to visit him... maybe. :P

Truth be told I originally had a different idea, where Kanon and Keima would have like 4 kids and I had a specific innuendo I wanted to go with this (something about private night-time songs that turned into a 4-track album :P), but I changed it into this one in the end. I really like the "kids would be the same, except they were born in different time/circumstances" thing. :)

I'm pretty happy with how this chapter came out in general. I certainly enjoyed it as I was re-reading it before posting... interestingly, I decided to have pizza for today and then I read Kanon's having pizza in the story as well. xD

And Kanon ends her time in the orb-world and wakes up. I hope this time it feels better than usual. Kanon moving on feels more fitting and cheerful this way. I hope it was a satisfying end of the story for you as well, I think I managed to make it less bitter-sweet and more sweet and I'm glad about that.

Anyway, there are a few more things I want to talk about here.

First, and the most important, about the story that will follow KanonNomi. It's only partially written (about 60% I'd say), but I'll post the first chapter tonight, it should appear soon (maybe before you actually finish reading this). While it's a small connection, it is connected directly to KanonNomi, so I advise you to start reading it as soon as possible after reading KanonNomi. The first chapter will be fairly short, so it hopefully won't be a problem. As for the frequency of updates and such, please refer to the starting author's notes in that story.

Moving on onto another matter, I took a kind of challenge in KanonNomi, trying to reference all of Kanon's songs (or Kanon's versions of multiple-character songs) in this story. Well, I probably missed some of them, but nonetheless, I did it, so here's a list of where's each reference, if you're curious (ordered by flags it appears in):

1. "The Way of the Bonds" / "Kizuna no Yukue": in Flag 64 (the chapter title references the final line form Kanon's version of the song).

2. "Santa who has Fallen in Love" / "Koi ni ochita Santa": in Flag 65 (mentioned directly by name).

3. "Pink Décor Motion" / "Pinku deko mōshon": in Flag 65 (plays on radio during taxi ride).

4. "Love Call" / "Rabu koru": in Flag 66 (background music before and during Hayate/Maron (Keima/Kanon) kiss).

5. "Apple Ribbon" / "Ringo Ribbon": in Flag 67 (referenced on the T-shirt Kanon is wearing).

6. "Door of Miracles" / "Kiseki no Doa": in Flag 67 (plays on radio/music player in this Shiratori household).

7. "Full of Memories" / "Omoide ga Ippai": in Flag 67 (the album Kanon got on her birthday) and in Flag 86 (Kanon and Keima browse the album and it's revealed it was named after the song).

8. "ALL 4 YOU": in Flag 68 (in Eri's karaoke performance).

9. "Love Kanon": in Flag 68 (it's the ringtone of Kanon's phone).

10. "Uraha Love" / "Uraharabu": in Flag 69 (Eri hums it in the shower).

11. "Autumn-Colored Unrequited Love" / "Aki Iro Kataomoi": in Flag 70 (Kanon thinks of the song during her talk with Okada).

12. "Do You Remember Love?" / "Ai Oboete Imasuka": in Flag 70 (Kanon thinks of the song during her talk with Okada as well).

Finally, I'd like to thank very much to all of you who have read, followed, favorited and reviewed my story, especially those that endured all those years that sadly took me to finish this story. Thank you for all your love, support, and critique. I appreciate it a lot. You guys are the best! :)

Here are the replies to the latest reviews:

DarkDrawerJ: thank you very much, I was hyped as well, for more than one reason :P. Yes, ShioriNomi is coming, but we'll have to wait for it, unfortunately :(. Thank you very much for reviewing all this time! :)

William F Somebody: Thank you sooooo much for this and all your other reviews. As usual, I don't know where to start replying xD. Yes, drunk girls are hilarious in all kinds of ways xD. Lol, Kaori probably keeps a thick file for blackmail material on everyone xD. Lol, the evil trio :P. Yup, any version of Kaori is dangerous :D. My Kaori's not all that bad, but I hear you :P. I'm pretty sure the goddesses can get drunk, while in the host bodies :P. Well, equal rāmen-alcohol mix is bad, but small spicing, who knows? Maybe there's a market for that :P. Lol, Apollo would do that xD. Yes, the goddesses forget to, no other way to keep it consistent. It was Vulcan who designed this, after all, she wouldn't overlook that. Yes, Keima needs 'protection' from Mari xD. Eri's reaction was predictable :P. Kanon used Eri's begging! It's super effective! Critica hit! Kanon's dad fainted and is unable to fight xD. Lol, Kanon's fan would raid the country if the wedding wouldn't happen (if they knew about it of course :P). Nice university idea, who knows :P. Hm... I suppose Kanon was at Keima's home a lot and she has to leave a lot, so it wouldn't be that much of a difference. And then there's illusion magic, right? *wildcard excuse* :P. Yup, the wedding! I really wish Asami, Aoba, Tōru and Shino could be there too, but alas :(. Yup, there's hoping to that. Yup, consiglieri seems about right xD. Aunty Jun :P. I think Keima likes Kanon without the dress more ;). Lol, I kinda forgot about Okada... let's assume she was there xD. Kanon can still use "Nakagawa" in public, I think it happens to real-life idols and singers too, even if the public knows their name changes, but their popularity is tied to their name a lot so... Well, tradition is one thing, but she might lose some fans who want her to remain unmarried for... reasons :P. Well, kids not so quickly, as you see here... consummate? Yeah :P. Sorry that the ending is always bitter-sweet, I'm sorry I didn't come up with anything better. I hope you liked this chapter at least.

Big Bad Beowulf: I'm glad you liked the wedding. Yup, the parents were... amusing :P. Elsie the grenade xD. The chaos in her wake is that of a Beelzebub :P. Thank you for your understanding, it means a lot to me :). Thank you very much for your review :).

Sir Sleeps-a-lot: thank you soooo much for this review :). Glad you found the drunk party part amusing :). You're right, maybe in another story we'll see more of the "drunken carnage" in some other setting :P. Minami cowering could be turn into a video game: Metal Gear Minami: a stealth game where you avoid Kaori, Hinoki and Nora... and you meet Elsie who says "it's dangerous to go alone, take this" and gives you a useless broom :P. Comic book time references are great :P. Lol, Yui would make a really great grey ash :P. Yup, Kanon was sure of her decision and Eri is irresistible :). I'm so glad you enjoyed the radio show, I got this idea thanks to you :). Yup, Kanon made a lot for the idol industry. Wedding! Yeah, the story needs more males for best man candidates xD. Being a menace and exposition, Chihiro's so good at multitasking :P. Lol, I'm bad with clothes description but it went fine I think. Heh, the concert was nice, but I glad you liked the conversation afterward. Yup, tonight's gonna be a good (and long) night ;). Lol, I don't know if that was the first time. I'd ask Kanon, but considering her dislike or interviews and my sixth sense *tazer bzzzt noises* I think I'll pass... that shall remain a secret :P. Well, first time all-the-way as it may be... no-one said they didn't do anything before, Kanon knows how to... hold a microphone, doesn't she? :P ;). Nooo, cooome baaack! I need to see that story! xD Thank YOU for supporting me so much, your reviews are always great. :)

ZelgadisGW: you managed to review in time so it's all well. Yes, Ryō should leave Tenri alone or get punched by Diana xD. Oh, Kanon was jumping around and flailing her arms in pure bliss... just not from the start xD. Yup, humans are no match for Eri's kawaiiness :P. Yay! Great minds think alike :P. I hope I won't run out of dress designs :P. Yes, naughty Kanon is the best Kanon. She'll give Keima a private... backstage audition after the wedding ;). Thank you for the review. :)

Orion-Sacred Arrow: welcome back! Sorry about your fanfiction though :(. I see a lot of people are hyped for ShioriNomi, sorry for the long wait as we're still not there yet. I'm glad you like how the chapter was written. Well, it was four months, so I guess I'm late though :(. As for your reboot, you know my opinion on it by now :). Thank you for your review :).

Ghost Man: nope, it wasn't the last chapter. Lol, Ayumi metabolizes fast, but she doesn't have brakes, so if she drinks enough even she will get drunk :P. Kanon and Kaori would work together well actually, they're both yanderes :P. Lol, tonic with Hinoki xD. Eri's a super special one-hit K.O. move in fighting games! :P "Grandbebes" xD. Yay, par-tay! :D Lol, Keima's always smooth... except the times he's not :D. Lol, Kanon thinks, knows and DEMANDS it's hers :P. Sure, I'll mark this as complete story. Than you very much for your review. :)
