Chapter 27

Eliza POV

Opie and I were engaged. I couldn't believe it. I had dreamt of this for as long as I could remember.

When I woke up the morning after the proposal, I was curled up next to Opie. I opened my eyes to see him staring at me. "Good morning." I said.

"Morning." He said.

I stretched. I climbed out of bed and started to walk over to the bathroom. When I walked out. When I did I looked at Ope, "I had the strangest dream." I said.

"Oh yeah?"

I nodded, sitting back on the bed. "I dreamt that yesterday you were dodging my calls and then my mother blindfolded me, even knowing my recent trauma, took me out to the Indian Res and we had a big party where you proposed to me." I said crawling up the bed and straddling him.

He leaned forward and kissed me. When he leaned back, his phone rang. He picked it up and looked at it. "Clay." I climbed off of he and let him answer it. I walked over to my closet and pulled out my clothes for today. I ended up grabbing a pair of blue jean cut off shorts and a TM tank. When I walked out of the closet Ope was getting dressed.

"I gotta go." He said and I nodded.

I smiled at him. "I know."

"It's not Club related. I'll explain everything later." He said. I laid my clothes on the bed.

"I'll see you later?" I asked as he headed for the door.

He turned back and smiled at me. "Absolutely."

I didn't know what was going on but what I did know was that I trusted Ope.

Opie POV

When I got to the clubhouse, and walked in I was surprised that she was here. "You're here." I said.

"Aye. I got your letter." She said.

I looked at Clay and Jax. I turned back to her. "She's going to be excited to meet you." I said. She smiled at me. "Clay, call Gemma and Eliza. They should be here." I told him.

Things were about to get interesting in Charming. I had done something. I just hoped that Eliza wouldn't be angry at me for doing it.

Fifteen minutes later, Gemma and Eliza had joined us. "What's going on?" Asked when she walked in. She saw the girl when she walked in. She stared her up and down. "Who's this?" She asked.

I grabbed her hand and pulled her to me. "Eliza, Gemma. Meet Trinity Teller, from Belfast." I said.

"Your…" Eliza said, clearly remembering the letters.

Trinity stood up. "Aye, I'm your half-sister." She said.

"What the hell is this?" Gemma said.

Eliza turned around and faced her mother. "Dad had an affair."

We ended up and Clay and Gemma's. We were sitting at their dining room table. It was Clay, Gemma, Me, Eliza, Jax, Lexi (who was holding Abel), and Trinity. We thought this would me more relaxed. "A while back, I was going through some of the stuff in storage, trying to see if there was anything that we could use for the house, anything that Jax could use. That's when I came across a couple boxes of Dad's stuff. I found some letters." Eliza said, taking a drink of her coffee. "I pulled them out and started reading. Most of them were love letters. Letters about how much he loved her and wanted to take me and Jax and be in Belfast with Maureen and Trin." She said. I knew that this was hard for her.

"I know your lying." Gemma said. "I care about where the letters came from." Eliza nodded. She'd never give up Pops. That was for sure.

"I was supposed to be here last night but there some bad weather in Ireland which delayed my flight." Trinity said.

We all nodded. "So, let me get this straight. All those times Dad was going to Belfast it wasn't just for the Club?" Jax asked as Lexi passed me Abel.

I nodded. "Right. From what my ma said, she met Da when he came to start the charter over there and they clicked instantly."

I cleared my throat. "Right. Well I'm sure that you want to get settled in." Clay said.

We could feel the awkwardness in the room. "Right. I'll take you over to the house." Eliza said. "Then we can head back to TM so I can get to work." She said.

Clay POV

After the kids left, Gemma and I were sitting there with Abel. She'd told Lexi that she'd watch her so that she could run some errands. "You okay?" I asked her while I finished my coffee.

"I'm not sure. You know, I knew that he was being distant, but I never thought that it was this." Gemma said. "How do we even know that we can trust this girl?" She asked me.

"We don't. We'll just have to keep an eye on her." I said and she nodded.

Eliza POV

When we got to the house, I showed Trinity the room that she'd be staying in. "It's a nice house that you have here." Trinity said.

"Thanks. It was a graduation gift from my mom and Clay." I said laughing.

Trinity sat her bag on the bed and turned and looked at me. "Why is that funny?" She asked.

I shook my head. "The longer you're here, you'll see." I said and she smiled.

After Trinity and put her stuff in what would be her bedroom during her time in Charming, we headed back to TM. Half-Sack and Juice were in the ring boxing so Trin walked over to watch. Introducing herself to the guys. I told her not to mention that she was a Teller just yet. She gave me a questionable look and I told her that I would explain later.

When I walked into the office, I relieved Piney so that he could go back to whatever it was that he did during the day (probably getting drunk). Before he walked out of the office, he kissed my cheek.

Now that Opie and I were engaged, I had a wedding to plan. I was hoping that I could talk Clay into paying for it… I mean after all it was tradition for the bride's family to pay for the wedding.

That evening, when Trin and I left the garage I stopped and picked up some bridal magazines. Lexi and Tara were coming over so that we starting putting ideas together. Tara of all people knew how I've been wanting this….
