"Faster, faster. Move your legs faster, Izuku!"
Or else they'll die. They'll die a painful death and it'll all be my fau—
"Grandpa, please!" Izuku shouted to no one in particular. When Tsuyu and Minoru looked at him strangely, he clamped his mouth shut and started exclaiming internally, "can you please, quiet down for a moment? I need to think!"
There was a brief moment of silence. Until he heard a voice resounded from beneath his consciousness.
"I'm sorry," meek and soft, he felt the being he called 'grandpa' receded further and further; an image of a tiny cat curling on itself, shivering, came across his mind, "I'll stay away. Just…call me if you need me, okay?"
And then it was gone, leaving the greenette alone with anxiety and inpatient. He knew how worried his grandpa was. And who wouldn't? When the supposedly happy rescue training turned to nightmare fuel when a villain attacked out of nowhere. Not to mention, that menacing, warp guy warped them away from their responsible teachers. Forcing them to fight their way through as the evil goons were already waiting for the arrival of UA students.
Izuku was glad he got paired up with Tsuyu, because the frog girl managed to bring them away from the Wrecked Zone, with minimal casualties on their side as well. He didn't have to ask for the fiend's help, risking his secret to be out in the open. Or his friends started treating him like crazy. That is, if the fiend itself agreed to lend him a hand in the first place without the help of his Grandpa's 'persuasion skill' (and he couldn't do that when the man itself was panicking, mind clouded). Worst case scenario, Izuku, and friends had to fight the invisible enemy(ies) on top of the visible one.
They've been retracing their steps for the past minutes, trying to avoid the lingering villains and stifled their presence so they won't have to waste their strength uselessly. Oh, he wanted to help, alright. But the concern, contained anger, and guilt, guilt, guilt eat him up (he didn't know if these feelings came from himself or from the being that stays inside his head). The flashes of vague carnage (that he knew wasn't his. That he hasn't experienced it yet—) scared him. His classmates could save themselves—as he said, they were all just disposable goons—but their instructor. Shota and Thirteen. Were left with the strongest fighters, alone and no backup in sight. They cannot keep the momentum up, there were too many, the fiends hurriedly scampered away from the man with hands and his grandpa warned Izuku even before he was out of the portal, meaning that guy is the most dangerous and could possibly, surely, killed everyone off—
Damn it. So, he himself couldn't keep a clear mind, huh?
And when Izuku arrived at the clearing, Tsuyu and Minoru trailed from behind, that dam he tried so hard to contained finally burst.
Because there, on the cold, hard ground and was squeezed alive by the Brain Monster's humongous hand, was Shota. Head definitely cracked as blood pooled from beneath and Izuku felt his heart stopped.
His vision swam. He didn't see the USJ anymore. Nor did he see the monster terrorizing the very living being of Eraserhead. Rather, he was in the underground tunnel. With damp air and dim light. Surrounded by the dead mannequins, real-life horror plastered almost humanely on their plastic face.
He saw a girl with shoulder-length, brown hair crushed the 'windpipe' of the mannequins' leader with her bare hand alone.
He saw himself fall to the ground, tears running down his cheek as the word 'too late, too slow, too naive—' echoed like a second sound.

…how dare they?
How dare it touch my teacher?
How dare she touch my friend?
How dare they touch what's mine?
I won't let it kill him.
I won't let her kill him.
I won't let my people die.
I won't let my people die anymore.
I will save him.
I will save everyone.
Even if I have to sacrifice myself for it!!
(His body started to glow. A horn protruded on his nape, black tattoos that glowed green at its side appeared at every inch of his body; decorating his thighs, arms, chest, even his face. The presence inside his mind came to the surface once again)
(Midoriya Izuku stepped back)
(And Kashima Naoki took the reign)
Nocturne (game) belongs to Shin Megami Tensei
IT'S GOING TO BE HD, BABYYYYY! XD
Setting: Naoki failed to save the world and was on the verge of dying. With the last bit of his energy and the help of his Demon's friend, Naoki sent his own soul away to another body (preferably the unmoving mannequin inside the store. The one who wasn't alive) to give himself time, trained a little bit more, and face the God for the second time. But somehow, he got sent into an alternate dimension of the Next Generation of the New World and into the mind of a human. Not wanting to kill an innocent baby—not to mention, Izuku is actually his great, great, great, grandchildren. At least, to this world's Naoki—he decided to retire from his job as a 'Knight' and sleep. When the Slime Villain endangers the safety of Izuku, Naoki finally woke up, took ahold of his body, and fought the villain off. Now, Izuku knew about the existence of another consciousness within the back of his mind and he can also see the invisible Demons since the day of Naoki's awakening. He can also ask for their help, borrowing their elemental power to finish the job if the Demons allowed him to.
Izuku's Quirk: Semi-Fiend (borrowing Naoki's demon power).

BONUS:
Naoki, controlling Izuku's body: "now that you know I'm not Izuku's second personality, let me give you a small warning," *grinning evilly at the gaping teachers and the smiling headmaster* "I've known Izuku for fourteen years. If something bad happens to him, I'll kill everyone in this room and then myself."
Izuku, watching everything from the 'brain monitor': *covering his face with both of his palms as he blushed furiously, completely embarrassed* "doting grandpa…"
