Hey guys! I'm so excited for this Friday! I invited like several people over to watch the new movie with me, but two of them had actually never heard of P&F or seen it. (I never thought such a person existed!) So, I gave them a list of episodes they had to watch to get prepared for the movie at the beginning of the month. I told them to watch all the must haves, like Summer Belongs to You, and Act Your Age. A bunch of non necessary ones, just because I liked those episodes. (I was really biased and didn't tell her to watch any of the Monty x Vanessa ones, just the Ferb x Vanessa ones, but only because they're perfect together!) Anyway, now whenever they come over to my house, she says, "Watcha doing?" It's funny. Thanks for reading and thanks for the reviews, follows, and favorites!
Snowflake88- I don't like the idea of Perry in love either. But the idea of Perry with Vanessa would be kind of cute, except Ferbnessa is my OTP. Thanks for the review!
Desiree- Thank you! I will do so. I hope I can live up to your expectations! Thanks for the review!
The sun came in through the boys' bedroom window, directly in Perry's eyes. He stated to stir with a yawn. He stretched on the bed, causing it to shake rather violently. He slowly opened his eyes, and stood up on the bed on all fours. The bed seemed to sink under his weight more than it had ever done. Perry was a little confused by this, but it was too early for any mysteries. He jumped off the bed like a cat, landing on his feet. The ground felt different under Perry's feet, but he was sure he was still just worn out from his fight last night. The next thing he did in the morning was wake up Phineas, but it looked like the boy was already awake.
He sat up in his bed, the sheets over him. He rubbed sleep from his eyes before letting out a yawn. Then he looked around the room, trying to find his beloved pet platypus. "Perry?" he called softly, not wanting to disturb Ferb. Perry tried to make his purring sound, telling the boy he was there, but for some reason he couldn't. It just came out weird and more like someone gurgling water in a really breathy way. Phineas' eyes moved to Perry and they looked each other in the face. Then Phineas let out a yell.
Perry jumped back alert, looking for anything that could've made Phineas scream. Phineas ran out his bed and into Ferb's, causing the green haired boy to wake up. Ferb slowly sat up. "Ferb, there's someone in our room!" Phineas said.
Perry's eyes widened and he frantically looked around. But... it didn't look like anyone was in there. Perry looked back to his boys. Ferb was slowly moving out of his bed, eyes locked on Perry. He grabbed his shoes, which were at the foot of the bed, and quickly tied the laces together. He held the shoes like nunchucks, swinging them around. Ferb slowly edged closer to Perry, threatening to hit him with the shoes.
Confused, Perry ran underneath Phineas' bed, which was actually harder than it normally was. Perry breathed heavily, not really knowing what was going on. Under the bed was Phineas and Ferb's science project from a few years ago. They had experimented with bending light and mirrors. When Perry's eyes landed on the mirror, his heart stopped.
He jumped up, hitting his head on the top of the bed. He tried to get out from under the bed, but instead he just clumsily flipped it over. Perry shoved his back against the wall, breathing heavily. He was now standing on two feet and seemed to be considerably taller than the boys. He looked between Phineas and Ferb wondering what they would do. Perry bit his lip, kind of freaking out. In the mirror, he had seen, in place of a platypus, a man.
"Oh my gosh!" Perry let out. Hearing himself speak just caused him to freak out even more. He stiffened, his heart racing and his hands shaking.
Phineas and Ferb watched him uneasily. Phineas put a hand on Ferb's shoulder, causing him to let his guard down. Phineas squinted at Perry and turned his head curiously. "Perry!?" he asked.
Perry gulped and nodded. Ferb dropped his sneakers in awe. Phineas slowly stepped forward. Looking around anxiously, Perry dropped on all fours a tried to purr, only to remember that his vocal cords were different. He was conflicted between his training. Either take charge of the situation and figure something out or continue trying to play it off and act like a normal platypus. Phineas and Ferb exchanged a glance and stepped towards Perry. Perry sighed, realizing it was probably best to just take charge of the situation. As long as he didn't let anything slip. He sat crisscross on the floor and smiled awkwardly at his boys. "Guys?" he began.
"Do you know what this means?" Phineas said, his voice quiet from surprise. Ferb and Perry shook their heads. Phineas put his hands on his head, a huge grin forming on his face. "Our platypus is a platyperson!" he exclaimed. He began walking in circles, listing all the things they could do with Perry. "Perry can help build our cool inventions, and he could go on adventures with us, and since he's an adult, we could go see all those movies that you need a guardian to watch with!" he said, practically bouncing up and down.
Perry took in a breath and stepped towards Phineas. "No, we can't. We need to fix this," he said, gesturing to himself. His voice was deep, and honestly it scared Perry a bit.
"Yes, how did Perry get turned into a human anyway?" Ferb asked.
Perry's mind flashed back to Doofenshmirtz' inator. He tensed, and looked around nervously. "It- It doesn't matter. Just, can you turn me back?" he asked.
Phineas nodded, putting a hand on his chin thoughtfully. "Maybe, but we'll have to do some tests," he said.
Perry allowed himself a sigh of relief. Just then, his watch began to buzz. Perry's eyes widened. Nothing was going his way this morning, was it?
"What's that?" Phineas asked.
Perry slapped his hand over his wrist, quickly finding the off button. "It's nothing." He smiled awkwardly. "Why don't you and Ferb go set stuff up for those tests, and I'll get cleaned up in the bathroom, alright?" he said, ushering the boys out.
"Well, okay," Phineas said, following Ferb out.
Perry headed to the upstairs bathroom as quick as he could. He literally slid in. He shut the door behind him, making sure to lock it. He leaned against it, letting out a breath. "Doof, you idiot!" he let out. I mean, it's not like he didn't think that all the time. Now he could just say it.
He looked himself over in the bathroom mirror. He had ruffled teal hair and deep brown eyes. He was dressed in a soft blue flannel with the sleeves rolled up. Around his neck was an orange checkered tie. On his wrist was his watch, which was used as an OWCA communication device. He had an average body build, not noticeably thin or thick. His skin was a more sun tanned color. His face was dotted with small freckles. His pants which were more of dress pants were a beige color and he wore black suit shoes. He looked to be in his early twenties.
Once again, Perry's watch beeped, and this time he answered. Monogram's face was displayed on the screen. "Agent P, good-" He stopped when he saw Perry. "Morning... Um, Carl?" he said. Perry rolled his eyes as he watched Monogram and Carl's conversation unfold.
"Yes sir?"
"Who is this man and why does he have agent P's watch?"
"What do you mean sir?"
"Well come take a look."
Carl's face came onto the screen.
"Oh, well, maybe he stole it."
"Who would want to steal from a tiny little platypus?"
"Well, sir, what about that time-"
Perry finally decided to end it. "You guys! It's me! Perry!"
"Great Googly Moogly! Agent P was a human the whole time!" Monogram said.
Perry face palmed. "No, Doofenshmirtz turned me into a person." Perry tapped his foot impatiently.
"Do you know how to reverse it?" Carl asked.
"Yeah, I've got Phineas and Ferb on it," Perry said.
"Phineas and Ferb? Your host family? You didn't tell them about OWCA, did you?" Monogram wondered, raising an eyebrow. Perry shook his head. "Good, because if you do-"
"Yeah, I don't need you to remind me," Perry interrupted. He sighed, hoping that he didn't accidentally let something slip. He was just a platypus who was turned into a person. Average Tuesday.
"I'm going to be late to work, just so you know," he said, before hanging up. He sighed. "Alright, Perry, you got this."
He stepped out into the backyard, moving quickly to avoid getting caught by Linda. Or an even bigger threat, Candace. She would probably lose her head if she found out. Perry joined Phineas and Ferb, who were in the middle of the yard, already looking over blueprints. He stood over them, which was weird. Perry was so used to looking up to his boys.
"You know Perry, you're oddly calm about this whole thing," Phineas said, unrolling a page of blueprints. Perry sat across from him, biting his lip. Ferb nodded. "Yeah. I thought you'd be more... platypusy I guess?" Phineas said, trying to find the words.
"Well, I guess it's just... such an unexpected event that I'm taking it well," Perry said. Hopefully that would suspend their disbelief for a second.
"I still find it strange that you just wake up one morning as a human," Ferb put in.
Perry tried to distract from the question. "Who knows how any of these things happen. Just think of the way all your projects disappear," he said.
Phineas nodded. "I guess he's right." Then realization hit him. "Wait, you know about all our inventions? But you always disappear off somewhere and then come back after everything's cleaned up," he said, raising an eyebrow. Perry sighed, as he knew he was just digging himself into a deeper hole. As long as the didn't ask-
"Where do you go everyday, anyways?" Ferb wondering. -that. Perry tried to play it off.
"Eh, here and there, you know, like how cats do," he said.
Phineas looked up from the papers in front of him to Perry. "Maybe we should enjoy this before we turn you back," Phineas said with a smirk.
Perry's eyes widened. "I don't think that's such a-"
"Please!" Phineas said, making the most begging face ever. "You can even do stuff that platypus' never get to do! Eat chocolate, ride a bike, be allowed in no pets allowed places," Phineas said, listing on his fingers.
Perry thought a minute. One day with his boys wouldn't be so bad, would it? "Alright," he said smiling.
"Yeah!" Phineas jumped to his feet. "Ferb, I know what we're going to do today!" Ferb gave his brother a thumbs up. Perry couldn't help but smile at Phineas' energy.
A familiar bow wearing girl stepped into the backyard. "Whatcha doing?" Isabella greeted. In her arms she held Pinky, her pet chiwawa, or as Monogram liked to call them, shaky little rat dog. "I was coming over to see if I could borrow Perry? Today the fireside girls and I are doing a pet wash to earn our pet care taking badges so-" Isabella's eyes moved towards Perry, who gave her an awkward wave. "Who's your friend?" she said, interrupting herself.
Phineas jumped up and ran to meet her. "Isabella, I give you Perry!" he said, gesturing to Perry. Phineas put his hands on his hips. "We woke up this morning and he was a person," he said.
Isabella nodded, though it was obvious she was still lost about the whole thing. "That makes sense... I guess?" she said, tilting her head.
"I don't really get it either," Perry said.
Isabella gasped. "Oh my gosh, he can talk too!? That is just the cutest!" she said, filled with excitement. She started squealing and walked up to Perry. "Can I pet you?" she asked.
Perry raised an eyebrow. "Okay...?"
She set Pinky on the ground and ran her hands through Perry's hair. Pinky let out a bark and Perry laughed. "Weird, right?" he said.
Isabella took a step back. "Can you understand him?" she asked, pointing to Pinky. Perry nodded. "What did he say?"
"He says I'm tall," Perry said blandly.
Isabella smiled, then fiddled with her hands nervously. "So you're a pet, which means you know everyone's secrets right?" she said. Perry shrugged, trying to figure out where she was going with this. She leaned in close and whispered something in his ear.
"Does Phineas ever talk about me when I'm gone? Like maybe he likes me or something?"
Perry laughed and was about to answer when Phineas called her. "Isabella, I need your thoughts on our itinerary of this we're going to do with since he's human now." She walked off, leaving Perry and Pinky.
Pinky let out a few barks and Perry picked him up. "Yeah, yeah, I know. Don't give away any secrets," Perry said, rolling his eyes. Pinky continued on. "I think it had something to do with Doof's inator," Perry explained, thinking it over in his head. Pinky yipped. "The boys think they might know a way to fix it, but they want to spend a day with me first," Perry said. Pinky let out a small growl. "Come on, it's just one day off. Monogram doesn't even let us call in sick, but he can't make me go to work today!" Perry cheered quietly. Pinky raised an eyebrow and barked again.
"Yeah, about that. Could you maybe get Doofenshmirtz today?" Perry asked, smiling hopefully. Pinky let out a few barks and a growl. "Pft, Poofenplotz can wait. Doof is a much more dangerous villain than her," Perry smirked. Pinky let out a string of barks and growls, and the two glared at each other. "Just do it, please," Perry sighed. Pinky frowned, then finally gave in and nodded. Pinky moved to jump out of Perry's lap. The chiwawa slipped on his fedora and stood on his hind legs. "And send Doof my regards. He gets whiney if it's not actually me that beats him up... for some reason," Perry said, shaking his head. Pinky saluted before running off.
Isabella, Phineas and Ferb walked back over to Perry. Isabella looked around, then frowned. "Where's Pinky?" she asked.
Perry shrugged. "Dog business," he said, hoping that was enough of an answer.
Ferb handed Perry a piece of paper. "Here's all the stuff we have planned for today," Phineas said.
Perry looked over the list. "Alright then. What's first?"
