"A…shopkeeper?"

Tsunagu's eyebrows that were hidden by his blonde bangs rose when Nedzu brought two people to the midst of the war, right as the main attacker for the epic yet dangerous showdown between All-Might and his long-lost nemesis. One of them is a male with short, uneven black hair while the other is a woman with striking silver hair. Both of them seem to be in mid-twenty, wearing casual clothes under their cream apron, totally unsuitable for a soldier trying to reign in the terrorist. The man even yawned while scratching his buttock, uncaring and apathetic over the dire situation that Japan was stuck with; and it was understandable, actually. Both of them weren't heroes. Their shop located far, far away from the center of the battle. As long as it won't hurt their business or well-being, no civilian will care about the main fighters fighting on the frontlines. Sometimes, Tsunagu wondered if protecting these kinds of people were worth it in the first place.

Well, at least the woman had the decency to be embarrassed and smacked the man across the head for his unprofessionalism.

Nedzu just smiled his mysterious smile, ushering Best Jeanist to rest on the 'spectator benches ('because you're hurt. Nobody wants you to lose your life just so you can buy another second for All Might to unleash one of his devastating attack') while the shopkeepers sat at the mahogany desk he prepared. Four meters long and with two computer screens screwed at the front. It showed an aerial view of All Might and All for One skirmish rather clearly. The rat-bear said, "this is Seki Tonari and Yokoi Rumi. If you're worried about the legality of their help, then don't be. They have their hero licenses."

Huh…

Wait, they did? Then Tsunagu's comment about their unwillingness to sacrifice their time (and maybe life) for the sake of the world was annulled. But then again, he never heard nor saw these two 'Pro Heroes' on the television. Even the upcoming Hero had a chance to presented themselves on the screen at least once. And besides, the principal said they are shopkeepers. A child toy shopkeepers. So, what does he mean by 'qualified for a Hero job'?

They answered his question when Rumi pulled out a clump of clay from the plastic bag she brought. Tonari cracked his fingers, his neck, and before their eyes could follow, attacked those mud with vigor that it felt like he had multiple hands. Tsunagu didn't have the time to let his jaw drop, and the clump of clay was transformed into an exact copy of the area where their number hero fought; complete with the destroyed building, street sign, debris, and the hero and the villain themselves. He made all of that in a span of minutes and this time, Tsunagu finally let his mouth open in shock.

"That wasn't his Quirk, by the way. That's just pure skill," Nedzu happily explained, sipping a cup of tea he produced from wherever, "his Quirk is 'Link It'. He can create a connection between what he made over here," he said, pointing toward the amazing diorama Tonari made, "with the real thing over there," then to the scenery shown on the live video on the television, "the diorama he made will move on its own, according to the real-life event," as he said that, All for One destroyed another floor of the surrounding building. The clay version of it crumbled as well, "following that, Seki-kun can move the inanimate object from afar. Like a remote-control toy."

Or almost like a telekinesis power but with a wide range, "why did he make a robot though?"

Yes. True to his word, Tonari had created a robot along the way as well. It looked like a Gundam (of which type, Tsunagu didn't really know. He wasn't interested with any mecha animes. He wasn't interested with an anime, period. Just a fashion show and only a fashion show), standing tall between All Might and All for One. What's the use of that toy?

"Oh. This is where Yokoi's quirk comes in," the rat chirped. He sounded like a proud parent. Maybe they were his former students. Rumi stared hard at the robot her companion had crafted, clasped her hand together, and closed her eyes. Somewhere on the battlefield, right between the two opposing members, the air rippled, "'Become True'. As long as she had the blueprint or know how the finished product work," Tsunagu mouth was agape for the third time this day when the mini clay doll on the table slowly but surely, like an invisibility cloak being lifted off, appeared in real life, right between them. Just like how Tonari wished it to be; but taller than its original size, towering over All Might and even the mutated All for One, "she can create an exact copy of it. In whichever size she wants. Combined with Seki-kun's quirk…"

He can control the robot from afar and let it help All Might fight that villain off!

Oh wow, that is such an awesome ability!

…wait a minute.

Then, why a shopkeeper? They could be a famous duo-hero, for all it worth!

With the appearance of Quirk and mutant people, you could say that this world of theirs was practically a fantasy world. Weird and intriguing. But right now, Tsunagu felt like he was dropped right into a storybook parents usually read for their child bedtime story. The robot punched and kicked, whacked and slashed with its sword, supporting All Might whenever he fell behind as his power weakened and weakened. All for One hastily destroyed the machine, yet both of them just made another one in an instant and continued on. Need a distraction? Tonari controlled the debris around and punted it at the enemy. Lying down a classic pitfall trap to trip the villain up? Rumi sneakily summoned those right beneath All for One's feet. On and on, they just kept on pushing. Tonari even made another batch of smaller robots and expertly control them all without another hand to help. As expected of an owner of a toy shop. He must've played with his creation a lot. And after a lucky slip happened, caused by a simple rope trap Rumi summoned, All Might, buff and muscular (although Tsunagu felt like he saw him shrinking a little bit? Must be his imagination) finally managed to land a strike right under his enemy's jaw.

Tonari and Rumi high-fived.

Now, he knew why Nedzu called them for their backup. These two were definitely an ace in the hole; teamwork solid and magnificent. So, really.

Why did they become a shopkeeper again?!
