Jade had been in the dark for almost four days, but it felt a lot longer than that, she'd just been staring into the complete darkness all that time and her father hadn't made a single noise, so she was stuck listening to the voices in her head. She tried to play out movies, music and things she remembered well to avoid going crazy, but that had only helped her for a while, after all that time, she just wanted it to be over, regardless of the price.

She knew every inch of that place by heart, so she could still move around, but that didn't make it any easier to cope. She'd bathed several times trying to get clean and she'd tried to sleep as much as she could, but there was a point when her body did not allow her to do it anymore and she felt she was suffocating in all that darkness.

It was making her crazy and she just wanted to see and hear something, even if that was her father or another man. She felt just like when she was a child, she imagined that was what hell felt like.

"Well, well…how are you feeling?" Her father finally said as he opened the door and Jade immediately sat up, he turned on the lights and she covered her eyes because it was too much for her at that point "It's okay, open your eyes slowly…but first cover them with your hands" He said and she did, it took her about a minute but she finally managed to see, so she smiled, even those gray walls and her father's face gave her joy.

"Do you see now?" He asked and she nodded.

"Yes, daddy" Jade said.

"That's my girl" He said and smiled, he handed her some food and she immediately started eating, she'd been starving.

"Thank you" Jade said and he stroked her head.

"No problem, enjoy" He said and she kept eating "I hope you used all this time to think about what we discussed" He commented and she looked at him nervously.

"Yeah…" She muttered.

"And? You agree, right? You understand this is home and that I'm the only person in the world who really loves you, right?" He questioned and she nodded, she just wanted to avoid another period in the darkness "We belong together, baby" He affirmed.

"I know" Jade said and he sighed satisfied.

"Good"

Jade finished her lunch and he smiled as he put the plate away, then he held her hands and took a breath "I hope you know I don't enjoy leaving you alone, but I had to, you needed to understand I'm trying to protect you" He affirmed.

"I do" Jade lied and he smiled.

"I'm glad" He said and pushed some hairs behind her ear, so she looked at him trying to hide her fear "Now, let's fix things…" He said and smirked, so she felt the disgust building up inside her, but she only wanted to keep him happy at that point, it was her only choice.

"Okay" Jade said emotionlessly and he started kissing her neck, so she closed her eyes and several tears streamed down her cheeks; she wasn't going to fight him or be rude, she simply laid down and tried to go away in her mind while he raped her yet again.

When he was done, he simply kissed her forehead and stroked her head gently, like a normal dad after his child gets a good grade in school, except there was nothing normal about what had just happened and Jade could only think about how messed up their relationship was, she felt disgusting.

"I have a surprise for you" Her father commented as he buttoned up his shirt and she looked at him emotionlessly.

"What is it?" Jade asked and he smiled, he left the room for a few minutes and then came back holding a piano with a big bow on it and a box of chocolates on top. It was really nice and she wanted to be happy about it, she needed some joy at that point in her life, but she knew what that piano meant, so she had no reasons to be happy.

"I saw it and I know how much you like music, I saw that you learnt how to play so…I thought you'd be happy to have it" He said nicely and Jade faked a smile.

"Thank you, daddy" She said and he left it on the bed next to her.

"I love to see your smile, baby" Her father said and kissed the top of her head, while she stared at the piano imagining what awaited her that day. It had taken him a while, but deep inside she'd always known he'd go back to pimping her out.

"I know…" She said and sighed.

"By the way, we'll have some visitors later so wear the new clothes I got you, okay?" He said and she nodded in resignation.

"Okay" She said.

"And honey, please don't be rude, no crying or screaming, okay? They are daddy's friends and you have to be nice to them" He said and she felt the rage running inside her body, he talked to her as if she were still the child who believed his lies and she couldn't stand it, but she had to control her emotions, she couldn't upset him again.

"Yes, daddy"

Back in the West residence, they'd been monitoring the site for days with no updates, but Alex and Anna didn't stop and one day, they finally got some activity on the post.

"I don't understand, they are not talking about her" Beck said referring to the texts they were seeing on screen.

"They are but it's all code" Anna said.

"So, what are they saying?" Tori asked.

"And why are there so many icons?" Cat asked confused.

"It's not just one customer" Alex informed "He is arranging a meet up with three different men for tonight and a few others on the weekend"

"Bastard" Mr. West said upset.

"Where?" Evelyn asked.

"He is gonna pick them up at the casino in the city center" Anna said and smiled "We got them!"

"Oh my god, so now what?" Diana asked.

"We'll follow the bastards to the house and it's game over" Alex said and everyone smiled in relief, they couldn't wait to see Jade again.

Jade, on the other hand, couldn't even imagine life outside that prison again, she was wearing her new lingerie in front of the mirror and waiting for some strange men to come in and rape her again. She felt she'd been in that place for ages and she knew they would never find her, so she just wanted to end things, nothing good awaited her anyway.

Jade grabbed the piano and smashed the mirror with it, so it broke down into pieces, she put the piano back on the bed and then leaned down to grab a large glass piece from the floor. She looked at it and smiled, she could see her slightly distorted reflection on it and suddenly, she had power again.

Jade had two options: she could either try to stab him and hope she'd catch him before he closed the door or she could just put an end to her misery, so she sat there debating what to do. Neither option was good, but only one allowed her to be free, not only from him but from her own inner hell, so she knew what she had to do.

She laid down on the bed again and stared at herself on the broken glass, she took a breath and slowly moved it to her wrist as she thought about her life, all the bad and all the good, she missed the happy moments. However, in those moments, her bad memories were a lot stronger, so she didn't really care about leaving, she just wished she'd had a chance to say goodbye to her friends and family, but she'd always known she'd die alone.

Jade's father met with the men in the casino as he had planned and the police had several undercover agents standing by, so they wouldn't miss him. They didn't know what he looked like, but they had some leads such as his height and hair color, so they were carefully monitoring all the possible suspects.

"I don't see him" Alex commented as he drank some coffee.

"Check your six" Anna said and he discreetly turned around, he saw a man with a hat approaching another one and then two others joined them by the bathrooms. They chatted for a few minutes and then they made their way to the parking lot.

"It's got to be them" Alex said and Anna ran outside to get back in her car.

"What happened?" Beck asked when he saw her running past him.

"I think we got them" She said and he quickly got in his car as well, he and the gang were waiting because they wanted to see Jade as soon as possible. Jade's parents also had a car standing by, so as soon as Anna took off behind the criminals, they all followed her.

They rode for around twenty minutes and finally parked in a normal street, it was a nice neighborhood and nothing seemed off about the house. The four men simply got out of the car and Jade's father put the key in the door, but before he could open it, they were surrounded.

"This is the police, freeze!" A cop shouted.

"What the hell?" The other man asked.

"You are both under arrest" Anna informed.

"On what charges? We haven't done anything wrong" Jade's father said.

"You'll have plenty of charges to choose from, how about kidnapping, rape, sexual slavery, I could go on all day long but I think that will do for now" Anna said and the other cops put the handcuffs on the men.

"Where is my daughter, you bastards?" Mr. West asked them because he didn't know which one was Jade's father.

"I don't know what you're talking about" Jade's father said.

"Let's go" Alex said and they went into the house to look for Jade, they knew she was in a basement so they didn't even bother to go upstairs.

"Here!" Anna exclaimed and Jade's friends and family immediately ran after her. They went downstairs and saw the huge iron door with an electronic lock.

"Wow…" Robbie said totally creeped out as they stared at the door.

"Stay back" Anna ordered and shot the lock to open it quickly, they didn't want to wait for the technical team.

The gunshot worked and the lock opened automatically, so Evelyn immediately pushed the door open and they all saw the room from outside. It was even smaller than they'd imagined it, there was no color on the wall, just gray bricks, the toilet and the bath, exactly as Jade had described it.

"God…" Tori said sadly, they didn't even want to step inside but Evelyn needed to see Jade, so she walked in and looked to the side, the bed was the only part of the room they hadn't seen and when they stepped in, they almost wished they hadn't.

Jade was laying on it facing the wall, so they thought she was either asleep or too scared to turn around "Thank god" Evelyn said gladly as the others looked around, the room wasn't big enough for all of them so Diana, Robbie, Cat and Andre stayed outside while Jade's parents, Anna, Beck and Tori went in.

"Careful…" Tori said to Beck because he was just staring at Jade and he'd almost stepped on the broken glass.

"What's this?" Mr. West asked confused, but they were all focused on Jade, so he simply stepped away from the glass pieces.

"Jade, sweetheart, it's us…you don't have to be afraid anymore" Anna said sweetly, there was a new piano with a bow next to Jade and she was wearing lingerie, so they looked at each other and shook their heads because they knew what presents meant for her, so their hearts broke just imagining what she'd felt knowing some strange men would be coming to rape her. It was exactly what she'd described in court, her worst nightmare had come back.

"Jade, are you okay?" Beck asked, but Jade didn't move so they looked at each other.

"Maybe he drugged her for the men" Tori said and Anna got on the bed to turn her around, but as soon as she did, they all stepped back shocked. She was unconscious, her arms were all bloody and so was the sheet on the bed. They could see the cuts on both of her wrists and the bloody glass piece right next to her.

"Oh my god" Beck said appalled and Evelyn covered her mouth in shock as her eyes filled with tears.

They looked at the piano, at the bloody glass piece, at her and at the broken glass on the floor and all the pieces clicked in their minds, so they felt the shivers going down their spines and a stabbing pain in their chests. They'd been so close, if only she'd known, if only she'd waited, but she'd decided to put an end to her torment and there was nothing they could do to change it.

"We are too late"
