"And when I thought I only need to keep an eye on the Hero with yellow google too…"

A high-end Noumu called 'Woman' evaded a pincer attack from an ant-like monster, ducked under its wide wing, and could only groan in agony when it turned smaller, sacrificing its power yet increasing its agility, hence it able to bit her multiple times with just one swipe.

The thing was, despite its look, this creature wasn't one of the Noumu at all!

First of all—Woman jumped away and let her regeneration activated, putting a distance over the ant monster who grew back to its original size—this monster doesn't have its brain out in the open for the world to see; one of the primary traits for Noumu to identify themselves. Second, it wasn't corporeal. Not really. Ant Monster was wreathed in black fog, letting out an ethereal blue light from its eyehole and wings. Rather than an anthropomorphic animal (if they could call a Noumu that) this ant is like a shadow. A living, dangerous shadow that can touch and surely kill whatever it deemed an enemy.

It wasn't the only one roaming around either. There were also knights. A high ranked knight, one was wearing a long, flowy cape and the other was strapped with a horns helmet. A large bear, fur flowing like water and claws intimidating. Then last but not least, a mystifying hooded man. Red face and white fangs, wearing a scary skulls necklace around its neck. Along with the Ant Monster, those shadows had been hindering the High-Ends Noumu from advancing since the very beginning.

While the rest of the Heroes ran toward the location of the tube where their master was sleeping in, these shadow monsters pointed themselves as their impromptu shield. By forcing her companions' attention toward the axe-wielding shadow using its roar alone (the sound itself felt enticing. It was ugly, yet at the same time, they couldn't stray their gaze away from it), the Shadows cut Noumu's limbs off or roasting them in a blaze of fire whenever possible. If one of her comrades managed to escape somehow, the other low-ranking shadow soldiers—consisted of knights, magicians, and pig-face men. The latter were bathed in red light instead of blue—will swallow Noumu's movement using their quantity. Jumping on top Noumu's shoulders, latching onto their waist and legs. Until one of the high-ranking shadows came and continued the halted battle.

Worst of all, both side had its own regeneration power. So, they've been stuck in a stalemate since forever.

Woman bloated her thighs and activates the Liquification Rupture, Ant Monster flew and dodged them all. Woman unleashed a devastating chain punches, Ant Monster leaned slightly to the side and slapped her across the face with its wing alone. Woman did a spinning attack, Ant Monster transformed to its mini size once again. Their high-speed battle kept on going and didn't show any sign of it going to stop soon until she heard a scream. Or rather, an elated celebratory.

"Shigaraki is down! I repeat, Shigaraki is down! He's out of the tub and we're now moving to apprehend him."

oh.

Their master is down.

He is gone.

So…they had failed.

"And it seems my job here is also done," Woman jolted when a voice she hadn't heard before reached her hearing. She did a fancy flip, snapped her head upward, and glared at a man with black, fade-haircut, wearing a black trouser and black hoodie over his white t-shirt. He was standing on top of a dragon. Made of shadow and was emitting the same blue light. Woman instantly knew that this man is the owner of all the Shadow Monster.

(Whether it was his Quirk or he had created them just like how Kyudai did, it didn't matter).

(What Woman knew is that he is really, really dangerous).

The man slowly leaned forward, two daggers were clasped tightly in between his nimble fingers. Woman crossed her arm in front of her chest in an attempt to create a feeble barrier. But it was futile when the man, with a speed so fast, she couldn't follow him at all (even faster than the Ant Monster), crisscrossed the air. Figuratively teleporting from point A to B and landed at point C, right on top of the awaiting Shadow Bear hug. Then the air rippled, stopped, before—

SLASH SLASH SLASH

—every High-End Noumu's brain crumbled.

And Woman knew no more.

Setting: After the death of his family at the hand of a rogue villain, Sung Jin-Woo decided to be a Vigilante, living his life on the run. However, the heroes called him a villain instead of a vigilante. The second coming of Stain, even. Because he won't hesitate to kill anyone when they turned out to be the scum of the earth; whether it's a civilian, hero, or villain. Here, Sung Jin-Woo appointed himself as a helper to stop Tomura's army. And although the Heroes knew Sung Jin-Woo is a dangerous villain, they let it slide this time as his quirk really helped them a ton. Unfortunately, they couldn't chase after him because, not only he already escaped, Tomura wasn't actually 'dead' and had disintegrated half of the town in the meantime.

(Did he sound too strong in this fic? Blame the canon itself. I don't have to tweak anything and Jin-Woo is already OP :'D)

Sung Jin-Woo's Quirk: The Living Dead (awakening the soul of deceased beings, be it humans or animals, he can turn them into his own subordinates. When Jin-Woo was still a nice kid, he didn't tell anyone the true nature of his quirk. He only said that he can create shadow soldiers, leaving the fact that he needed dead beings' souls to activated it in the first place. He's a smart cookie. He knew if he did tell them, he'll be bullied)

Series or One-shot?: One-shot

BONUS:

Sung Jin-Woo: *blankly stared at the destroyed town while riding onto Kaisel to escape from the wrath of the awakened villain* "should I keep helping them? I don't think he's the villain I'm searching for."

Beru: "We're your subordinates, my master. We will follow whatever you wish to do."

Sung Jin-Woo: *silent. He pulled out a pendant from inside the collar. Inside was a photo of him, embraced by his mother and sister* "I wonder what will they say when they see me hesitate in the prospect of saving others."

Beru: "…"

Sung Jin-Woo: "Let's go. Target or not, he killed a lot of innocent people. If I have to be a murderer for the sake of a better world—"

Sung Jin-Woo: "—then so be it"
