Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: A Dawning Path

Six humans from the Pokemon-Human World must now journey to the Pokemon World and become Pokemon. Will Fennekin, Mudkip, Pikachu, Eevee, Bulbasaur, and Cydanquil, along with their partners (Snivy, Litten, Charmander, Popplio, Torchic, and Totodile) be able to save the Pokemon World before it's too late?

2. Chapter 1: Fennekin

Disclaimer: The Pokemon do not have any real names besides their Pokemon name. When I say "Fennekin" she does not know she is a Fennekin at first.

Fennekin opened her eyes. What was that voice coming from somewhere...?

"Please... oh, you're awake!"

She turned her head, examining all the lush green forest around her. What is this place?

A Snivy was standing over her... but wait, she was bigger than a Snivy, right?

"Thank goodness you're awake! I was surprised to see a Fennekin lying around! I'm Snivy, by the way."

"I am not a Fennekin!" Fennekin protested. Why would a Snivy say... wait, say?

"YOU CAN TALK?" she shouted.

"Yeah, so?" Snippy said, shrugging. "You're a Fennekin and you can talk."

"STOP CALLING ME A FENNEKIN!" Fennekin exclaimed.

"Listen, come with me," Snivy said in exasperation. "We're going to find you a puddle."

Fennekin followed Snivy down a dirty trail on all fours... although she decided she must be crawling with fear.

Until, that is, she saw her reflection.

"I'M A POKEMON?!" she yelled out, examining herself in the puddle. No doubt about it, she had a long snout, yellow, flaming ears, and a bushy tail.

"That's what I was trying to tell you," Snivy pointed out.

"But I was a human not too long ago!"

"A... human?" Snivy asked, tipping her head. "Then where did you come from and how did you get here?"

How DID I get here?" Fennekin thought. "I... I don't remember anything," she told Snivy.

"Well, if you have nothing to do, you should come with me!" Snivy started skipping down the path.

"Where are we going?" Fennekin asked, trotting to keep up with her newfound friend.

"To start a Rescue Team, of course!" Snivy said cheerfully.

"A what?" Fennekin asked, stopping.

Snivy stopped as well and turned around. "A Rescue Team. They rescue Pokemon from trouble. Recently, there have been many natural disasters going on. Many Rescue Teams have been started, and their members go out and save Pokemon from these disasters."

"Oh..." The pair started again, and kept going until they reached a well-sized town.

"Welcome," Snivy said, waving her arms in a grand gesture. "To PokeTown!"
