Alright, Chapter 2:Mudkip is out! Mudkip, please hold up the sign.

Mudkip: Also review... can I go now? I really want to swim.
Me: Okay, sure. Enjoy this chapter everybody! (Disclaimer: Remember at first the characters do not remember they are Pokemon!)
Mudkip heard a voice coming from somewhere... he opened his eyes to see a sunny beach. The shore was full of sand, and a few Krabby scuttled across it. A Lapras floated in the distance. Then, sitting up and turning around, he came face to face with a Litten... and in eye level!
"You're awake!" Litten meowed happily, showing her white teeth in a smile. "I'm Litten. Are you alright? Most Mudkip don't just black out on the shore, you know."
"A TALKING LITTEN?" Mudkip exclaimed, jumping backwards and landing with a 'thump' on the sandy beach. "And who are you calling a Mudkip? I am a human, thank you very much."
"You're a Mudkip alright," Litten purred. "Uh... do this if you don't believe me." She held up a paw to show what Mudkip should do.
"Fine." Mudkip held up a 'hand' and noticed it wasn't a hand... it was a paw! He dashed over to the ocean and looked in. A blue Mudkip stared right back. "How did this happen?"
"What is the last thing you remember?" Listen asked, circling him with her black and red tail swishing.
"I don't remember anything..." Mudkip said, trying to remember. All I see is black when I try to... he thought.
"That's okay!" Litten said. "I'm sure we can find someone who can help!" She sat down on the beach and sighed. "Except... I don't know anyone who can help."
Mudkip fell over, then sat up. "WELL, WE HAVE TO FIND SOMEONE WHO KNOWS WHY I BECAME A MUDKIP!" he shouted.
Litten stared at the sand, scooping some up with a paw and then dumping it back onto the beach repeatedly. "I'm sorry... it's just, I was going to go find someone to start a Rescue Team with me, then I found you, and now I don't know what to do..." A shiny tear fell from her cheek onto the sandy, making it wet.
"What's a Rescue Team?"
Instantly, Litten looked up. "There have been many natural disasters lately, and Pokemon have been suffering from them. Rescue Teams go out and help these Pokemon."
"Oh, I see," Mudkip said, nodding.
Suddenly Litten's eyes sparkled. "Would you like to join my Rescue Team? Together we can save Pokemon! It'll be great!"
And maybe find out why I'm a Pokemon... Mudkip thought to himself. He nodded. "Sure."
"Yay!" Litten swished her tail in happiness. "Follow me. We have to go sign up at the Rescue Team Board!"
And so, the pair trotted off down the beach.
