Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: A Dawning Path

Six humans from the Pokemon-Human World must now journey to the Pokemon World and become Pokemon. Will Fennekin, Mudkip, Pikachu, Eevee, Bulbasaur, and Cydanquil, along with their partners (Snivy, Litten, Charmander, Popplio, Torchic, and Totodile) be able to save the Pokemon World before it's too late?

4. Chapter 3: Pikachu

Chapter 3: Pikachu is here! Enjoy! Pikachu, your turn to hold up your sign.

Pikachu: First, give me a donut.

Fine. (Gives him a donut.)

Pikachu's Sign: Please Follow, Favorite, and Review if you haven't already. Also, give me a donut.

Pikachu: I'm outta here! Byeeee!

(Sigh.) Well, do enjoy and remember the disclaimer.

"Hello? Helloooo? Are you awake?"

Pikachu opened his eyes and saw a lush forest. Sunlight streamed through an opening in the leafy canopy, and and Pokemon-Birdsong filled the air. Sitting up and turning, he saw a Charmander. Strange, he thought. How am I in eye level with a Charmander?

"Hi! I'm Charmander. Nice to meet you. You're a Pikachu, right?" the Charmander said, extending a paw.

Pikachu jumped at least three feet into the air and landed on the forest floor. Then, half amazed, half scared, he said,"First, how can an Charmander talk? Second, I am not a Pikachu! I am a human."

"Well, you are a Pikachu. Just look down at yourself," Charmander replied in confusion.

Pikachu did as he was told, and saw yellow fur, a lighting-bolt shaped tail, and brown stripes. Totally scared, a Thunderbolt attack unleashed from him.

"Wow!" Charmander said in amazement. "That's a nice Thunderbolt!"

Pikachu smiled. "I guess."

"Follow me!" Charmander said, starting off down the path.

"Where are we going?" Pikachu asked, following after Charmander on all fours.

"PokeTown!" Charmander answered without looking back.

"Why?"

"Because we're starting a Rescue Team!"

"A Rescue Team?" Pikachu said in wonder. "What's that?" Just then, he noticed a Fennekin and Snivy through the bushes, who were chatting together. Somehow, that Fennekin looks familiar... he thought to himself. But how? I don't know anyone here besides Charmander. He turned back to Charmander, who was explaining.

"A Rescue Team goes out and saves Pokemon from places called 'Mystery Dungeons.' There have been many natural disasters recently, so loads more Pokemon are relying on Rescue Teams to help them. If we go to the Rescue Team Bulletin Board, we can sign up," Charmander explained.

"That sounds cool!" Pikachu said, eyes shining brightly.

"It will be!" Charmander agreed. "Let's go! We're almost there!"
