First, I would like to say SORRY! for not updating lately. :( But now I'm back on here with a brand new chapter! Please favorite, follow, and review!

Mudkip shook his head. No, no, I couldn't have seen a Fennekin before. It's not possible!

He had watched Team Gust bully Snivy and Fennekin until they had left. Then Fennekin and Snivy had gone as well, being a new Rescue Team.

"Uh, hello? Mudkip?" Litten waved her paw in front of him. "We're almost to the front of the line! You're being more out of it than a Slowpoke."

Mudkip snapped out of his thoughts and sighed. "Sorry Litten... but... have you seen that Snivy and Fennekin before?"

She cocked her head to one side. "Yes, Snivy I've seen before but Fennekin... nuh-uh." Then she started bouncing. "We're at the board!"

The bulletin board was taller than it would have been if Mudkip was human. He barely noticed, however, because Litten was bounding over and preparing to write down their name.

"Mudkip, what should we call ourselves?" she asked.

"Team... uh... hmm... Wave?" Unsure, he hoped Litten would like the name.

"YES, PERFECT!" She wrote the name down and then picked up a box. "Aw, matching blue scarves!" She gave one to Mudkip and tied the other one around her neck. Mudkip smiled happily as he did the same. Litten pawed him a badge to wear. "Could you carry our Toolbox?" she asked, pulling an orange and pink box out.

"Okay." He strapped the bright box on.

"So, Litten, how about another offer...?" A voice purred sharply from behind the pair.

Mudkip and Litten whirled around. A Meowth, Glameow, and Alolan Persian glared at her. Glameow raised a paw and licked it, keeping her yellow gaze on the pair, eyes chips of ice. Meowth growled swished his tail. Persian gave them a nasty grin.

"What, no!" Litten hissed. "I have never and WILL NEVER be a part of Team Klaw! What right do you have going around and bullying other Pokemon?"

Glameow placed her paw back down. "Let me put it this way... you'll have richer pickings with us than you would with a Mudkip," she mewed haughtily.

Litten snarled in response and unsheathed her claws. Mudkip wanted to help her, but part of him could not bring himself to hurt Meowth.

Persian stood firmly in between Litten and Glameow. "Enough," he purred cooly. "Glameow, Meowth, let's go. No use talking to someone who doesn't want to join." The trio padded away, paws barely making a sound on the path.

"Team Klaw is made up of cat Pokemon. Meowth may seem nice, but you'll get under his claws fast. Glameow HATES dirt and loves to keep herself well groomed. Very stuck-up," Litten muttered. "And then there's Alolan Persian. He leads the two and makes sure everything is divided evenly. He fights dirty."

Mudkip nodded in response. "But... there must be some ounce of good in every bully, right?"

Litten purred. "Mudkip, that's nice. Yes, I do believe that if something were to happen, that might change their point of view." She put her claws in. "But I don't know how soon that would be."

She started walking. "Come on, there's something I HAVE to show you!"
