Hi everyone! It's been a while.

First off, I like to thank everyone who submitted a Zenith-Class danger beast. Remember, you can submit more than one and they can be humanoid and/or beast-like. Try and expand your ideas from the usual abilities and appearance. Such as not always using dragons or elemental powers. Also, I may have made some changes to your danger beasts, but I will credit you all. I'll be adding the names of each person whenever I introduce their danger beasts in a chapter.

With that said, please enjoy the chapter.

(Natsu)

The sun was beginning to rise over Fake Mountain. Within a large cave high above the mountain was none other than Natsu, in his dragon form. Since being able to transform into one, Natsu had preferred sleeping as a dragon, finding it comfortable than sleeping in his human form. It brought back memories of better times when he slept, before he had to wake up to the current world. Letting out a yawn, Natsu did some stretches to get the stiffness out him. That included his tail and wings, hearing the satisfying cracks as he began to wake up. Once that was done, Natsu walked out of the cave, standing at the edge of the cliff. From there, Natsu could see the forest from down below.

Natsu's mind wandered as he sensed the presence of several Zenith-Class Danger Beasts, from hundreds of miles away. Also called Beast Lords, they were Danger Beasts that had evolved and gained power from defeating other Danger Beasts. Once they reached a certain level, they were tested by the Supreme Danger Beast, AKA END. If they passed the test, the newly titled Beast Lords were given the rights to rule over pockets of land, commanding the local Danger Beasts there, but also had to follow END's laws and swear loyalty to him. END also made a rule that Zenith-class ones could challenge him for the title as Supreme-class every few years, if they so choose. Most of them do, while others were content with their current position.

Speaking of which…END could feel the presence of two Zeniths nearby. Along with that were some other familiar scents too. Whether there would be a conflict or not was hard to say, given the personalities of some of the Zeniths. Still, it was worth to check just in case, as it would be amusing at the very least.

With his mind made up, END walked out of the cave, which overlooked most of Fake Mountain. Doing another stretch to get rid of sleepiness, he spread his wings and took off.

(Elsewhere)

Tatsumi had a rough night. The whole fiasco with the pinkette had left the Night Raid member worn out, and that marking he left on his neck had itched. Fortunately, the itch had gone away when morning came. Another cause for Tatsumi's bad sleeping was Esdeath. Along with wearing a revealing sleeping clothing, the general had used the young man as a sleeping pillow, hugging him close to her voluptuous body. Obviously Tatsumi got little sleep.

Still it wasn't so bad. During his short time with them, Tatsumi was able to learn most of the Teigus that the Jaegers wielded as well as their skill level. And unfortunately, many of them were on par with Night Raid. Then there was Esdeath of course. She was on a whole other level. Not just her strength and but skills in combat too were unlike anything Tatsumi had seen before. He recalled how the general had told him about her encounter with END at the North. The mere fact she managed to survive the battle was another testament of Esdeath's strength, even if she did lose.

There was some good news though. Esdeath was planning to take Tatsumi, as well the Jaeger members Wave and Kurome, the latter Akame's sister, to Fake Mountain to hunt Danger Beasts. Tatsumi was to be paired with Wave for the first part before switching later in the day. That would give him a chance to escape and return to Night Raid with the information he got.

The moment came when a swarm of Tree Beasts ambushed them. Their numbers were enough that they would keep Wave distracted to allow Tatsumi to escape. However, that planned failed when out of nowhere, a stream of fire struck several of the beasts. The heat reduced them to ashes in second and caused the other to flee. Tatsumi and Wave got their answer when they looked at the source.

Standing on a higher edge above them, was a massive bear. It had blackish-grey fur that had multiple orange glowing lines going down it's body and even out of its mouth. It had red eyes that glared down at the two young men. Its claws were razor sharp and appeared to be melting the stones that they touched. Covering its face were several scars, no doubt from battles long ago. Finally, sticking out of its back were multiple spikes. At the center of its forehead was a black, five-pointed star.

Beast Lord: "Magma Mountain" Teth (1)

"What kind of Danger Beast is that?!" Wave exclaimed as he stared at Teth.

Tatsumi couldn't give a reply. The moment their eyes locked onto each other, Tatsumi felt a searing pain on his neck. It was the same spot where Natsu had put that symbol. The brunette fell to his knees as he clutched the mark in a desperate attempt to stop it.

Wave, seeing his comrade in pain of some sort, started to assess the situation. 'I have no way of contacting Commander Esdeath and Kurome. And it looks like Tatsumi is hurting from something, maybe that wound he got from that weirdo last night.' The sailor looked at Teth. 'I've definitely never seen a Danger Beast like this before. Judging from its size and strength, as well as this aura its giving off, I have to say it is at least Ultra-Class. I don't know how well I'll fare against it, but I got to protect Tatsumi.'

With that said, Wave pulled out his weapon, a black short sword with a handguard and a chain link tassel on the hilt. He immediately impaled the blade into the ground before him. "Grand Chariot!" He yelled as seconds later he was covered in a black, full-body armor, with a phantasmagoric defensive film on its back.

Through the pain, Tatsumi managed to get a glimpse of Wave's armor. 'So that's his teigu? It looks kind of like Incursio. More importantly' He shifted his gaze towards Teth, who was growling at Wave. 'Will it be enough to face this thing? I can tell that it is probably on the same level as Esdeath, maybe even stronger!'

"Don't worry, Tatsusmi! I won't let any harm come to you." Wave declared before launching himself towards Teth. The Beast Lord opened its mouth and fired a ball of magma at the sailor. Using his enhanced strength, Wave shattered the attack with a single punch, his armor protecting him from the superhot rocks. He then landed a kick on Teth's head, but the Danger Beast shrugged it off. Wave jumped back and landed on the ground. Then, using the momentum, launched himself back towards the Beast Lord.

However, this time Teth was prepared. Infusing his right claw with heat, the Beast Lord slashed at the oncoming Teigu user. Grand Chariot's metal was able to deflect most of the damage, but the claws still left a large gash in the chest piece. The force of the blow also sent Wave flying backwards, crashing into the mountain. Dust rose up from the impact. When it cleared, Wave was rendered unconscious and his armor faded. He had bruises on his body and a trail of blood was running down from his mouth.

Tatsumi was not standing idle when all this was happening. As Wave was focused on fighting the Danger Beast, the brunette made for Incursio's blade and discreetly activated the armored Teigu. 'Now's my chance!' Tatsumi declared as he made a dash towards the forest below. However, he was swiftly cut off when Teth appeared in front of him. 'S-so fast!' Thought Tatsumi as his eyes widened under his helmet. While it wasn't as fast as some other people he knew, Teth's speed was enough for Tatsumi to know that he would not be able to escape without a fight.

Instead of a fight like he expected though, Teth was sniffing Tatsumi. "You" The Danger Beast spoke with a growl, surprising the brunette. "You have the scent of END. His mark. Why is that?" Asked Teth.

Still shocked that a Danger Beast was speaking, Tatsumi managed to respond. "M-mark? What are you talking about?" He asked.

"Do not lie to me human! I know the scent of the Dragon Emperor's mark when I smell it." Teth exclaimed as he pointed to his forehead. The same black pentacle appeared there before quickly disappearing. "It is the mark that END has deemed you worthy of becoming a Beast Lord, or Zenith-Class as you humans would call it."

Tatsumi was still confused until he saw the mark on Teth's forehead. The same mark he had gotten on his neck where Natsu had touched him. Realization hit Tatsumi like one of Bulat's fists. That pink haired guy was END?! The Supreme Danger Beast?! He had no idea that Danger Beasts could even take on a human form. Or was that something only END could do? However, he could tell Teth was becoming impatient with the silence. "I don't know why he gave it to me! He just grabbed neck and put it there! Hell, I didn't even know that was END. And what do you mean by Beast Lord?"

Before Teth could even explain, his eyes widened as he snapped his attention towards the forest. Thousands of vines shot out from the trees towards the two. Tatsumi jumped back to avoid them, while Teth released another ball of magma from his mouth. The vines were burned and reduced to ash almost instantly, with several trees behind them also hit by the lava.

"Blume! You dare use such a cowardly attack! Show yourself!" Teth roared. His rage made him release heat from his body that melted the ground and nearby stones.

There was no response for a few seconds. Then suddenly, a large flower shot out of the forest and stopped a few feet from Teth. Tatsumi watched as the flower opened to reveal someone inside it. The person was a female by the looks of it. She had a humanoid appearance with a beautiful and voluptuous body. Her entire skin was a light green and her hair was dark shade with the tips being maroon. In fact, they looked like vines combed back and reached her waist. She had leaves that covered the important parts, enough to hide her dignity, and vines trailed around her lower legs and upper arms. She had poisonous green eyes as she looked at Teth with a mocking stare.

Beast Lord: "Demon Dryad" Blume (2)

The plant woman gave a seductive smile that would entice lesser men. "Come now, Teth. Is that anyway to talk to your neighbor?" She asked.

"Don't play games!" Teth snarled. "I smelled some of your grunts around here, sneaking into my territory. You have a lot of nerve to do such a thing. Or do you want to be reduced to ashes?"

Blume was not the least bit faze. "I can't help it when my underlings wish to plant their roots on your precious pile of rocks. Besides" She looked at Tatsumi. "I was curious about the human that Master END took an interest in."

Tatsumi gulped as both creatures continued to argue. The brunette knew that he had no chance of winning against either of them. His only hope would be that they let him go or fight one another, seeing their hostilities a few seconds ago, and he would use the confusion to escape. To be honest, Tatsumi doubted that even Esdeath could go up against them one-on-one.

It was that moment that all three paused, feeling the same immense power wash over them. In unison, all three turned their heads up and saw a large red dragon flying over them. It did not seem to take notice of them, or it did and didn't care. Across the other side of Fake Mountain, a similar feeling was going through Esdeath. She completely ignored how the Danger Beasts around her and Kurome and fled at the sight of the giant red dragon.

"Commander isn't that…?" Kurome asked only for Esdeath to take off at an incredible speed.

The general didn't even pay attention to her subordinate calling for her. All Esdeath could think of was having another chance to face END again. To feel the excitement of a true battle, to experience the closeness towards death one has when fighting a true adversary.

Back with Tatsumi, the young boy took notice on how Blume and Teth were completely absorbed by END's appearance. And with Wave knocked out, this was the best chance Tatsumi had to escape. With that thought in mind, he pulled out Incursio's key blade and quickly clade himself in the Teigu Armor. For extra measure, Tatsumi made himself invisible and dashed off towards the forest, towards the direction where Night Raid's base was.

A few minutes later Esdeath had arrived. She frowned when she realized she would not catch up to END. She was surprised, however, when she saw Wave laid out against the rocks, and two Danger Beasts that she had never seen before, watching where END had flown. Once the dragon was out of sight, the two Zenith Class snapped out of their stupor and spotted Esdeath.

Teth growled. "The other one…" He snarled. "And it looks like the first one fled while we were distracted…"

"So, she is the one END had blessed the Predator Mark with." Blume commented as she noticed the interesting aura Esdeath had. "I can sense the presence of Danger Beast in her veins. How interesting."

Esdeath was surprised that the two Danger Beasts could talk but pushed it aside as she spoke. "I've never met specimens like you before. However, it appears that you attacked one of my soldiers." She motioned to Wave. "And for that I'll have to discipline you!"

With that said, Esdeath launched a barrage of large icicles at the two Zenith Class. While many would be alarm of such projectiles heading towards them, Teth and Blume were not. The large bear let out a roar, releasing a wave of heat that instantly melted the ice projectiles into water instantly. He then fired a ball of magma at Esdeath, forcing the general to dodge so as to not be melted.

Blume huffed. Her expression changed, and she glanced back at the woods. She then looked at Teth. "You can play with her if you want, Teth. I've already seen all I wanted to see and have other matters to attend to." The plant woman said as she headed back to the forest below.

"Damn woman. Doing what she wants." Teth cursed. He brushed off a pillar of ice that tried to impale him, his natural strong hide and the heat he emitted stopping the attack. Turning back to face Esdeath, Teth saw that she was joined by Kurome. The assassin girl was holding Wave, an arm over her shoulder.

Raising the heat around him, Teth glared at the blue haired woman. "Now then, let's see how well a human who gained the mark of END measures up!" He roared as he charged Esdeath.

None of them took note of Nikolai, who was floating above the mountain range. He had been watching the whole event take place, including END's appearance. Also, moving through the forest was Dr. Stylish and three oddly looking individuals were following Tatsumi.

Hope you all liked that chapter. Next one will have less of END appearing but some of the Zenith Class Danger Beasts. Anyway, below is a list of the ones featured and who suggested them.
