It's been months, and no one has come looking for the child. Luna has been raising it as if it were her own, and she truly has been a caring mother to her little human pup. The other sisters had tried to get interact with the child, but Lori always ends up pulling them away, including her own pups as well. She still believes that the child will grow up to turn against them, and she refuses to let that happen. Even if her own children are wanting to play with the human pup, Lori denies their requests, saying that it's all for their own protection. She despises how the human is rubbing off on her family, making them think that its harmless. But she believes that she knows better. From time to time, she does her best to convince Luna to let go of the child...
Lori:"I am telling you, Luna. Let go of the child. It is not yours, and it'll surely put us in danger, should we keep it around."
Luna:"If anybody would even bother looking for Linc, they would've been here by now. Don't you think?"
Lori:"You are continuing to make a very grave mistake, Luna."
Luna:"You say that everyday. We are still alive, are we not? Are we still in living in peace? One human child does not mean the end of the world for us, Lori!"
Lori:"To me, it is but a sign. He is the first of many to trespass in our territory. Others will come, take what belongs to us and leave us for dead!"
Luna:"That is enough, Lori. Linc is my child, my pup. I will never abandon him."
Lori:"..."
Luna:"Now, if you excuse me, it's time to feed my child."
Lori:"How do you even feed him?"
Luna:"Same way any mother would do."
Lori was a bit confused about what her sister said, until Luna law down and the human pup come to her breast...
Luna:"Come, Linc. Time for your milk."
Disgusted, Lori turned away as she was sickened by the thought of Luna giving a human child her milk. One of Leni's pups, Leo, came by to see what was happening, but Lori turned him away.
Leo:"What is Aunt Luna doing over there?"
Lori:"Something you are not ready to learn about, child."
Leo:"How come you never let us go play with Linc?"
Lori:"Because he is a disgrace to our kind, who are dangerous and attack our homes. I want you to have interaction with that child. He is not one of us."
Leo:"Okay, Aunt Lori."
While Luna was feeding her child, her sister Lisa was coming by and instantly turned away at the sight of what was happening. However, since she saw how serious Luna was at raising this child, she let out a heavy sigh and faced her older sister...
Lisa:"You know, it's not my area of expertise, but I may be of some assistance with raising your child."
Luna:"How exactly?"
Lisa:"I can truly make him one of us. He can truly be your child."
Luna:"He already is. I don't need your crazy magic anywhere around my pup."
Lisa:"It's not magic."
Luna:"Whatever it is, keep it away from Linc."
Lisa:"Hmph."
With that, Lisa took her leave and saw Leni was with her own pups, who then same came by her...
Leni:"Hey, Lisa. Is it okay for me to ask you something?"
Lisa:"What is it, dear sister?"
Leni:"Do you think it's possible for a human and a wolf to have a hybrid offspring?"
That question made Lisa turn around to see Luna again, who was finished with feeding Linc and they were now both sleeping together.
Lisa:"That question actually intrigues me. Perhaps I'll figure it out."
Leni:"Okay!"
Later than night, everyone was asleep, but Lori was having trouble sleeping. She was having a rather frightening nightmare. It was pouring down hard with rain, Lori could barely see, but was shocked to have found most of her sisters dead on the ground, and the pups being taken away in cages...And then, she found herself in one, with a giant male human hunter, with white hair towering over her. It horrified her to see that she was looking at the face of the child that Luna had taken in. The child that would ruin her life. It was enough to wake her up and see that everything was alright, that her family was unharmed and her home was still in one piece. But she then saw Luna and Linc sleeping together, and came to a conclusion that something had to be done about that child. Walking towards the two, she growled silently and prepared, looking ready to cut the baby's throat out...
But then, the little child stretched it's tiny arm out and touched Lori's paw. It felt warm, soft and it instantly made Lori retract. She felt like she was having a realization; could this child really be like wolf? Would he be family or would he be their end? Such thought flooded Lori's mind as she left the two be...
Lori:"Hmm...One day, when this child grows up, he's going back to his people. That is final."
