Lucy was playing with little Linc, enjoying the baby's company. He's actually starting to feel like a little brother to her, beginning to love him the same way that Luna does. Of course, she knew that Lori wouldn't approve of her spending time with a human child, but she didn't care at this point. Lucy now felt that Linc was like a brother to her, and she was okay with that. But it was then that Lisa came by with some sort of bottle in her mouth filled with a green liquid...

Lisa:"Excuse me, Lucy. I wish to give this to our human counterpart here."

Lucy:"You're not going to try to experiment on him, are you?"

Lisa:"No. I already tried. Didn't take. This is so that he will be able to understand us better."

Lucy:"You're serious? Will it make him...half-wolf?"

Lisa:"Not exactly. He will just be able to follow with our conversations. Making him half wolf is something that I'm working on."

Lucy:"And does Luna approve of this?"

Lisa:"Of course. I asked her and she is willing to go along with it. I'm hoping her little child here does as well."

Linc merely tilts his head, having no idea what Lisa was talking about.

Lisa:"I'll take that as a yes."

Placing the bottle down, she pulls off the cork with her teeth and then gives it to Linc. Taking the bottle, Linc leans back as he began to drink the liquid inside. Lucy and Lisa stood back as the watched the child drink the whole thing. After half a minute, Linc finished up and Lucy patted his back to help him burp...

Lucy:"So...now what?"

Lisa:"Well, I guess we just have to wait until he begins to understand us better...and maybe, he'll start talking."

Lucy:"You sure that potion of yours did anything?"

Lisa:"Oh, give me a break. I never had to make something like that before."

?:"...Lu...Ly?"

They both stopped when they heard a small voice. They turned their head towards Linc, who looked like he was trying to...speak...

Linc:"Lu...Ly..

Lucy:"Luly? What's that supposed to mean?"

Lisa:"I think he's trying to say your name."

Lucy:"Wait, really? Is he trying to say my name?"

Linc:"Luly!"

Lucy had let that sink in before she begins to carefully hug the child...

Lucy:"This the greatest day of my life!"

Linc:"Luly!"

Lucy:"Yes! Luly is here for you, dear brother!"

Lisa:"I suppose this must be the results of the potion. I wonder if there are anymore surprises in store."

Linc:"Wisa!"

Lisa froze for a moment before hugging the child herself.

Lisa:"Normally, I don't atone to these type of emotions, but- I love you, little brother!"

Linc:"Wisa!"

?:"Just what do you two think you're doing?!"

They all stopped after hearing the voice of the alpha, Lori. She saw them playing with little Linc, something she disapproved of dearly and was angry about...

Lori:"Care to explain why you are hanging out with that human?"

Lucy:"What? He's just a baby, Lori."

Lisa:"Indeed. Plus, he can now understand us better."

Lori:"I don't care! I know humans, and believe me when I say that this child grow up to destroy our family!"

Lucy:"You're just being paranoid."

Lori:"Don't say I didn't warn you!"

Linc:"Wori!"

The alpha female had suddenly froze upon hearing the human child trying to call her name. And that was not all, she could see him reaching out to her, like she would want her to hold him. But she shook off the feeling and moved away, leaving Lucy and Lisa to shake their heads and continue playing with their little brother. Luna saw as Lori had run away and it had reminded her of Sam. She had pushed that feeling aside as she came by to check up on Linc and Lucy...

Luna:"How's Linc doing?"

Lucy:"He's really fun to play around with."

Lisa:"You'll be happy to now that giving him the potion has worked. He can understand us better now...at least, I think."

Luna:"That's...good to hear."

Lucy:"Still thinking about Sam?"

Luna:"Yeah."

Lisa:"Do not fear, Luna. I'm sure she'll come around before you know it."

Luna:"Thanks, Lisa. That means a lot. At least I still have you guys."

Linc:"Momma?"

Luna's heart skipped a beat when she heard Linc call her mother. She couldn't help but cuddle up next to him, along with her little siblings."

Luna:"And at least I still have you, my child."

Speaking of Sam, she was off wonder the forest, being on her own for a while now. A true lone wolf, which she hated the thought of. She wanted to be with others, with a pack again, and she just rejected the only pack she came across, and they were good friends of hers! She was immediately regretting the decision to do so, as she was no hunter. She was only able to survive at this point by feeding small animals or stealing fish from bears, which was a huge pain to do. It didn't matter to her though. She just wanted to be with a family again. As she was soon to be lost in her train of thought, her mind shifted back to reality as she heard some noise not to far away...

Sam:"What the heck was that?"

Chasing after the noise, she found herself standing over a waterfall, but it wasn't high enough to show her anything. With a mountain towering over her, she climbed high enough to where she could see and what she saw was...terrible. Human machines that were beginning to tear apart the forest, cutting trees, destroying the homes of many animals who were living here. And what was worse, the destruction was happening not to far from where Luna's pack lives. It won't be long until their home is overrun, not unless someone warns them...

Sam:"Oh no. Hold on, Luna. I'm coming."

Luna was continue to snuggle next to her child. But she then heard footsteps coming her way and quickly stood up. Looking forward, she saw that Sam was coming this way as fast as she could. Luna growled, fearing that Sam may have come back to harm Linc. She wasn't gonna let that happen, as Sam soon stopped in front of her...

Sam:"Luna!"

Luna:"Come to hurt my child, Sam?"

Sam:"You have to listen to me! Humans are invading the woods, they're destroying everything!"

Luna:"What?"

She soon believed what Sam had just told her as she then heard some trees beginning to fall down. Not to mention, the voice of a human saying "Timber!", not that far away...

Luna:"Oh, this is bad! We have to warn everybody!"

Linc:"M-Momma?"

Luna:"It's okay, my child. Hold on to mommy, we're going for a ride!"

They went off to find Lori as the sound of falling trees and machinery was filling the air. They soon reached the pact, who may have already heard what was going on as they were in a state of panic...

Luna:"Lori!"

Lori:"We just heard! Humans are coming this way! I had told you that your 'child' was bad news!"

Luna:"Do not blame this all on Linc!"

Sam:"Can we just focus on getting out of here?!"

Lori:"Alright! Leni, lead our young away from the noise of destruction! The rest of us will follow point!"

Leni:"Right!"

Obeying her sisters orders, Leni picks up her son, Leo and begins to lead the youngsters away. Pretty soon, they all felt the ground beneath their feet begin to shake, and then made a break for it, having to say goodbye to the only home they knew. Luna wondered what was gonna come next as she felt her child grip onto her, and refusing to ever let go..
