What's up guys?! I decided to post this chapter a day early since it was already done. I know people have different ships that they support. Please be respectful to all ships. I hope you guys enjoy!
Back at the dorms, all of the girls had piled onto Momo's massive bed, sitting and relaxing. "Alright first order of business… dates!" Mina exclaimed.
As soon as she said the word "dates", all of the other girls blushed and looked away. Uraraka laughed awkwardly, "I mean Mr. Aizawa said that dates were optional..."
"Oh come ooooon! Sure they're called dates, but it's not like you have to date them! I'm sure we've all thought that at least one of the guys is cute." Mina glanced at Uraraka, "And I know at least one of us has a crush on one of them."
Tsu suddenly spoke up, "I think I understand where Mina is going with this ribbit. I'm sure at least some of the boys will want to go with a date, and statistically speaking, there are way more boys than girls, so we may all end up getting asked by a boy. I don't think any of us would really be able to reject one of them except for Mineta ribbit, so I think Mina is trying to see if we can have a choice in who our date would be."
Mina turned to Tsu, "Yes Tsu! As soon as Mr. Aizawa said that we could bring a date, I knew that the guys would want to do it even though it was optional."
"Also, you could just go as friends. It doesn't necessarily have to be romantic" Sumire added.
"Okay now who wants to talk first? Does anybody think someone might ask them to be their date?" Everybody was still a bit embarrassed to speak up, so Mina decided to take charge. "Okay guys, whatever is said in here, stays in here. I trust you guys, so I will go first." She paused for a moment, "I would say Kaminari would ask me if he didn't have eyes for someone else... Instead, I think Kirishima might ask me. I mean we did go to middle school together."
"Oooh I can totally imagine Kirishima asking you!" Toru said excitedly. "Personally, I wouldn't mind if Ojiro asked me to go with him." Nobody could see it, but Toru blushed as she said his name.
"Wow Toru ribbit, I didn't know you liked Ojiro." Tsu paused to think for a second. "I mean, if Tokoyami asked me, I wouldn't say no."
"I guess I'll say something." Uraraka gathered the courage to say it out loud, "I..I...Like...D..Deku!" Her face was entirely red as she finally admitted her crush for the first time out loud.
"I knew it! And I completely support it!" Mina said as she did a fist pump.
Everyone laughed at her reaction as Momo finally decided to speak, "If I had to choose based on who I admired the most, I would choose Todoroki." Momo surprised herself as she ended up blushing.
Everyone turned to Jiro who was sitting next to her and waited for her response. "I uh don't know who would ask me" she said as a blush began to form on her cheeks.
"Well I know who would ask you" Mina smiled deviously. "A certain Pikachu-like boy in our class seems to like you a lot."
Jiro's face was now crimson red as she tried to hide her face, "N..N..No! We're just friends!"
"Well you have been hanging out together quite a bit ever since the cultural festival" Uraraka added.
"I...well...um" Jiro finally gave up. "Okay fine, I might have some um... feelings for him..."
"Aw Jiro, I knew it! And I completely support it!" Momo's words copied Mina's, resulting in another round of laughter. Momo hugged her friend who was still red as a tomato.
"What about you Sumire?" Toru asked.
"I mean I don't really think I have any romantic feelings for any of the boys at the moment." Sumire paused to think for a moment, "I mean Bakugo and I have had some nice conversations here and there, but I think all of the boys are generally nice."
Everyone stared at her for a moment until Mina broke the silence, "Hold up, did you say that you have nice conversations with Bakugo?"
"Um, yeah?"
"Oh my god" Mina stared at Sumire. "I think he likes you!"
"What?! No!" Sumire instantly said.
"I agree with Mina" Toru began. "Remember how he was staring at you the first day you came?"
Tsu brought up an additional point, "You also beat him in training ribbit, so maybe he has extra respect for you as a strong person."
"Yeah and he's always mad at everyone, but ever since you came, he's been less mad" Jiro added.
"Oh! And didn't you persuade him to come to the study group?" Uraraka recalled.
"Yeah I saw you two talking to each other in the back" Momo remembered.
"I mean I do talk to him more than anybody else other than Kirishima. I guess I'd be fine if he asked me, but I doubt he will" Sumire answered.
"Hey you never know" Mina said. "Boys can be weird and spontaneous sometimes."
Meanwhile in the common area, all of the boys had gathered, including Bakugo who was dragged there against his own will. "So Iida," Kaminari began to question him, "as for those who need assistance, what if I need assistance in finding a date?"
Iida was taken slightly aback, "Oh, I forgot about that. Does anybody here have experience with dates or anything relating to the subject?"
"You have to be a man and ask her in person" Kirishima responded.
"You would probably be more successful asking someone you know well or are good friends with." Everyone was surprised as Midoriya had spoken up. "Uh...uh...I mean I'm not experienced with girls or anything, I just thought that was something that made sense."
"Also if we're going to talk about dates, we need to take into account the fact that there are only seven girls in our class" Sero said.
"That's right, how will this end up?" Iida thought for a moment, "Whoever wants to ask one of the girls to be their date, go to the right side. If you don't want a date, go to the left."
"Wait! We also need to think about how the girls might not want a date, or if they want a specific guy to be their date" Ojiro brought up.
"You're absolutely correct. Let's try to guess what each girl would do and go from there" Iida concluded.
Kaminari raised his hand, "I think Jiro would want to go with me."
"I thought Mina would choose you" Kirishima said.
"Nah man" Kaminari disagreed. "She would totally choose you."
"I bet Uraraka would choose Iida or Midoriya since she's with them all the time" Sero said as he looked at the two.
"Yaoyorozu really admires Todoroki, so she'd probably choose him" Midoriya said while trying not to react to Sero's comment.
"I think Toru would want to go with Ojiro" Shoji commented.
"Oh really?" Ojiro blushed.
Iida spoke up again, "I feel like Tsu would go with Tokoyami, Midoriya, or Shoji. Actually, I think Uraraka would end up going with Midoriya, so Tsu would go with one of the other two."
Tokoyami managed to not look surprised when Iida said his name, Does he really think that?
"Hey what about the new girl?" Sero asked.
"Her name is Sumire Kenshutsu" Bakugo interjected.
Everyone looked at him with surprise. "Hey Bakugo," Kaminari grinned, "maybe you should ask her."
Kirishima hopped on the bandwagon, "Yeah Bakugo, I've seen that you two have been talking to each other a lot."
"YOU TWO BETTER SHUT UP BEFORE YOU GET MURDERED" Bakugo looked at them with a death glare.
"Chill dude, they were just saying that you seem to be the closest to her" Sero attempted to defuse the situation.
"Shut up arts and crafts" Bakugo turned to Sero and gave him a death glare too.
"Well between me and Tokoyami, I think Tsu would go with him" Shoji cut in to ease the tension.
"Why do you think that Shoji?" Tokoyami turned to look at his friend.
"I'm fine going without a date, and I think you're closer to her" Shoji explained.
"I suppose..." Tokoyami replied.
"Well I guess that solves the issue of dates. Is everybody okay with Kaminari, Kirishima, Midoriya, Todoroki, Ojiro, Tokoyami, and Bakugo being the ones to ask the girls to be their dates?" Iida looked at the other boys and waited for a response.
"WHY CAN'T I ASK ONE OF THEM TO BE MY DATE!?" Mineta protested.
"Nobody will go with you Mineta! They don't like that you're a pervert! Your behavior is demeaning and disrespectful to them!" Iida said with passion. Mineta crossed his arms and sat back down. "Okay since we've all agreed, I think we can end this meeting. If any of you get rejected, it's okay. It can be difficult to know what girls are actually thinking."
As the boys began to disperse, Bakugo stayed rooted where he stood. Pikachu and stupid hair are going to be dead after this. Dammit, there's no way I'm asking Sumire to be my date.
