A few years had pasted by since the pack were forced to move into an abandoned farm. Hunting had become surprising easier for the family, as they managed to find some bigger and tastier wildlife to feed off of. Lincoln was now six and was now able to move and walk on his own. He was so energetic and was happy with what food his mother could bring him, because his sisters, Lisa and Lucy, manage to help out with getting him food. He also really wanted to play with the other pups in the pack, but Sam made sure that doesn't happen. Lori had given her strict orders to keep 'the human' away from the rest of the pack, and it was something that Sam was not really proud of. Nor Luna, as she sometimes had to force her son away from the rest of the pack, not wanting him to get hurt. It's been four years, and things still haven't smoothed out between the two.

Lori:"Well done keeping the human away from our young, Sam."

Sam:"How much longer are you planning to keep Luna and Linc away from the pack?"

Lori:"Until Luna wises and abandons that little thing."

Sam:"Lori, it's been four years! Give it a rest!"

Lori:"(growls) You're in no position to make demands, Sam! Now continue with your work, or feel free to join the outcasts!"

With that, Lori walked away from Sam, leaving her to shake her head think about everything she has regretted so far. As she much as she didn't want to, she was forced to always keep Lincoln away be any means necessary. That included taking drastic measures. She hated the thought of having to hurt a child, even a human one. But her opinion didn't matter at this point. What Lori says goes. Sam as in the hen house, where Luna keeps Linc at Bay, and away from the other pups which she could tell that he wanted to play with so desperately...

Linc:"Mommy. Can I please go play with Leo and the twins? I promise it won't take long."

Luna:"I am sorry, Dear. But I can't risk you getting hurt. You already have a permanent scar from the first time Lori had hurt you. I don't want to lose you."

Linc:"...Why can't I be a real wolf, Mommy?"

Luna:"Linc, you ARE a real wolf. No matter what the others say!"

Linc:"I don't feel like it."

Luna:"No matter what, you have the spirit of one. You are a wolf, Linc. I will always be here to remind of that."

Linc:"... Thanks, Mommy."

Lucy and Lisa overheard everything, and felt bad. Over the years, they were doing all they could to help Luna with raising Linc, making sure that they didn't get caught during the time. But Lori has grown to be more suspicious of their action, and kept a close eye on them. One time, they did ended up getting caught...

Lori:"I told you not go near that child again."

Lucy:"We were just giving him some food. Where's the harm in that?"

Lori:"The harm is in our family."

Lisa:"Oh please, Lori. That is-"

Lori:"I will not tolerate of having more of our young being turned over to Luna's side. You are either with us or against us. And thus, if I see you around that child again, I might serving you as dinner next time..."

Both pups were immediately silent. For they heard the seriousness in her voice, knowing that she wasn't messing around. Would their own sister go as far as to feed off of them? That's insane, even for Lori...

Lori:"Take it as a warning that are to have nothing with that child."

Lucy and Lisa nodded silently as Lori began to walk away. But they lied to her. They hardly cared for what Lori had to say now since they were older. At the cost of their lives, they would care for Linc as any good sister would do. That is how much they care for him. And with that, they turned to the Hen House and asked Luna if they could join her pack instead. Luna was a bit of unsure about this, but was happy afterwards, knowing that they are still sisters who care for her and her child.

Linc:"You wanna play with me?"

Lucy:"Of course, we do. Little brother."

Lisa:"That is what siblings are for."

Linc:"Thank you, Lucy and Lisa. I love you!"

Lucy/Lisa:"We love you too!"

Eventually, Lori had enough. Having heard of Lucy and Lisa's betrayal, she no longer wanted Luna or Linc anywhere around her pack. She decided that she would force them to leave, because she wasn't gonna have it with her anymore...

Lori:"I've had it with you, Luna!"

Luna:"I haven't even done anything!"

Lori:"You turned two of our young to love that filthy little human!"

Luna:"Don't you dare talk about my son that way!"

Lori:"You will never change!"

Luna:"Neither will you!"

Lori:"I want you to leave! To be far away from my pack as soon as possible!"

Luna:"And where exactly are we supposed to go?!"

Lori:"Not my problem. Just know that this is what you choose!"

Luna:"I choose to have a family!"

Lori:"Well, you can have it without us!"

Not saying anything else, Luna and Linc began to walk away, but not without Lisa and Lucy coming behind them...

Lori:"Lisa! Lucy! If you go with them, you are no longer part of this pack!"

They looked at each other before looking back at her. Then, they just continued on, not saying a word to their former big sister. They now had a new pack, one they were to be in and one that hoped to find any sort of shelter soon...

Lucy:"So...where do we go from here?"

Luna:"We'll just have to find someplace to live for now."

Lisa:"Luan had told me that she had spot a near by town of humans. Perhaps there."

Lucy:"But, Lori told us that those places are dangerous."

Luna:"We might not have much of a choice."

Linc:"Mommy?"

Luna:"It's okay, Linc. We'll get through this...together."

As they made their way to the human settlement, little did they know what they would find might be considered useless.
