Hey guys! Sorry I'm posting this really really late, but I've been a little bit busy lately. This chapter takes place mainly at the mall. I had a lot of fun writing it, so I hope you guys enjoy!
"So are they just not talking anymore? Like at all?" Uraraka asked.
"Pretty much" Mina said dejectedly.
Uraraka brought her hand to her head, "How did I not notice all day?"
"Well, probably because your mind was occupied by thoughts of a certain curly-haired boy" Mina said with a laugh.
"Actually, we only know because Jiro told us ribbit" Tsu stated.
"Come on Tsu, can't you just go with the joke?" Mina sighed.
"Okay, so it wasn't just me" Uraraka sat with her friends in silence for a moment. "But if they aren't talking, then who is Sumire going to the party with?"
Meanwhile in Sumire's room: "I don't want to go to the party" Sumire said with her arms crossed.
"Don't you remember? Mr. Aizawa said the party is mandatory, so you have to go" Jiro said from across the room.
"Well I'm not going with him" Sumire replied.
"And you don't have to" Momo said gently.
"You don't have to go with anybody at all" Jiro added. "Now hurry up, we are meeting with the other girls and going to the mall."
"Okay" Sumire got up and grabbed her bag. This is what I need, a day out with the girls to clear my mind.
The girls met up and made their way to the mall. As they entered, Uraraka finally decided to say what was on her mind, "Hey Sumire..."
"Look at those dresses guys!" Jiro said loudly as she pointed at a display window. Momo pulled Sumire to go take a closer look. Once they were out of earshot, Jiro spoke up, "Sorry Uraraka, but it's best to not mention anything about Bakugo to Sumire right now. I'm sure Tsu or Mina already told you what happened."
"Oh my gosh! Sorry I wasn't thinking" Uraraka apologized.
"Don't worry about it" Jiro reassured her.
"Hey guys let's check out this store!" Sumire called back to them.
Once they entered the store, Jiro felt her phone vibrate in her pocket. She pulled it out to see the notification.
*1 new message from Denki
~hey babe do u want to meet at the mall to pick out outfits for the party?
~I'm already at the mall
~thats great im here too
where r u?
~I'm with the girls though
Are you sure you want to hang out with all of us?
~thats not a problem
id choose u over my friends anytime :)
~Wait you're with friends?
~yea
~Who?
~kirishima and Bakugo
~Denki! I need you to keep Bakugo away from the girls
Sumire is with us and it would be really bad if she saw him
~aw u called me by my first name
~DENKI
~ok ok dont worry ill try my best
~Thank you
~ok but can i call u kyoka?
Jiro blushed and hesitated for a moment before replying.
~If you want
~see u later tonight kyoka :)
Jiro then looked up to find Momo. "Momo, just so you know, Bakugo is here at the mall" Jiro whispered. "Denki is with him so hopefully we'll be able to avoid bumping into them."
"The mall is pretty big too, so maybe we won't even need his help" Momo added.
"Yeah, hopefully" Jiro sighed.
After they finished looking around the first store, the girls went to two others before ending up at the food court. "Ice cream! Ice cream!" Mina and Toru chanted.
"Okay who else wants ice cream?" Momo asked.
"Can we get mochi?" Sumire pointed across the food court.
"Ooh mochi sounds really good" Uraraka exclaimed.
"Okay we can just split up and meet back here after we buy our food" Jiro suggested.
"Wait, are you sure that's a good idea?" Momo whispered to Jiro as the girls split up.
"Sumire won't be that far, plus I can just tell Denki to stay away from the food court" Jiro replied. She then pulled her phone out and typed up a message.
"Why do we have to keep trying on suits? Why can't we just buy one and go?" Bakugo asked with an annoyed tone.
"Look Bakugo, we need to look good for our dates" Kirishima replied as he examined himself in a mirror.
"Also you said you would go with us if I offered to buy you mochi" Kaminari added.
"Yeah but I never agreed to not complain. And speaking of mochi, I don't feel like waiting anymore. Let's head to the food court" Bakugo said as he placed the suit he was holding back onto a rack.
"Good idea I'm kind of hungry" Kaminari replied as he rubbed his stomach.
They left the store and began heading toward the food court. Kaminari then felt his phone vibrate, so he checked it.

~Don't come to the food court
Kaminari stopped in his tracks, Oh crap. "Hey guys" he said to get Kirishima and Bakugo's attention. "Actually um... let's check out one more store before we go."
"What?" Bakugo said after he turned around.
"Didn't you say you were hungry man?" Kirishima asked.
"Um I... am not hungry... anymore" Kaminari said as he looked around nervously.
"Well whatever, I want mochi. You can try on more suits after" Bakugo began walking again.
"Stop!" Kaminari yelled. "I mean, ahem... I think it would be better to uh do it before because then we wouldn't have to walk all the way back to the store"
"I don't care. I want mochi now" Bakugo insisted. Kirishima just shrugged and started walking again with Bakugo.
No no no no no. This is bad. This is really bad. Kaminari began to text Jiro again.

bakugo insists on going to the food court
~You can't stop him?
~i tried
can u guys just leave before we get there?
he wont listen to me
Jiro looked up from her phone. "Momo, Bakugo is heading here right now! We have to get Sumire out of here."
They rushed over to the mochi vendor where Uraraka and Sumire were standing. "Oh hey guys. Not hungry?" Sumire asked.
"Yeah um we actually realized that we want to visit another store that we think you will really love" Momo replied.
"Okay cool let's check it out after we get our mochi" Sumire smiled.
"The problem is that it's about to close soon, so we have to go... right now" Jiro added.
"We already ordered though" Sumire said with a confused look on her face.
"You can get mochi later." Jiro turned to the man working the register of the mochi vendor, "Can you save that mochi for when we come back?"
"Sorry I don't think I'm authorized to do that" he replied.
Jiro stopped herself from complaining and turned back to look at the girls. "Sumire, I'll buy you more mochi later. Please come with me. We really need to go."
"It's only Wednesday. We can just come back tom..." Sumire stopped talking. Jiro and Momo turned around to see Bakugo standing there. He had also stopped where he was and was staring back at her. Kaminari and Kirishima were with him, but they stopped when they realized the situation that was occurring in front of them. The boys and girls just looked back and forth from Sumire to Bakugo. Nobody moved or said anything. Finally, Sumire broke the silence, "I can't do this."
As Sumire proceeded to run away, Jiro said to Momo, "Go after her." Momo nodded and ran off after Sumire. Jiro then had a quick word with Kaminari, "Denki, it's not your fault. You tried your best." She then went to go find them. It turns out Sumire and Momo were at the mall entrance. "Hey guys. Sumire are you okay?" Jiro asked once she caught up to them.
"I am fine, really I am. I just need to get back to the dorms and away from the mall" Sumire replied calmly.
Jiro looked at Momo, who nodded. "Alright, let's go back. I'll text the others and let them know" Jiro said as she pulled her phone out.

~Hey
Momo, Sumire, and I are heading back to the dorms
You guys can stay longer if you want
~okay I won't ask questions
thanks for letting us know
"Uraraka answered, so I think we are good to go" Jiro said to Momo and Sumire.
"Alright we'll just come back tomorrow to buy our outfits after school" Momo said.
They stuck to the plan and purchased their dresses, shoes, and accessories on the next day, Thursday. Sumire and Bakugo continued to avoid each other during class, at the dorms, and around the school. Thursday and Friday passed slowly, but Saturday finally came.
I really loved writing Jiro and Kaminari's text exchanges. Also, next chapter will finally be the party! What do you guys think will happen?
