"Okay so here is where I build some drama and add Maya's Indian touch.

At the Cafe.

"You look great by the way," Niall said with a pleasant smile. "Thanks," I replied, "you look pretty good yourself."

"Can I ask you something?" he asked and I nodded. "Why did you react so much on a pen? Like, I know you were mad at him but you punched him 'cause of a pen. I don't wanna sound insensitive but why?" he asked me a question that I really wanted to avoid but he was so polite, I had to answer, "it belonged to someone really special to me and that someone's gone so this is what I have left of him."

"Not trying to overstep, but can I know who this someone is?" Damn! He asks a lot of questions. "Umm, 'was'. It was my grandfather's and he's dead so..." I didn't want to say more because it was the most sensitive topic of my life. "Oh. I'm sorry. I thought it was your ex. Stupid me." he said and I let out a small laugh. "What's so funny about it?" he asked. "Nothing, you won't get it."

"C'mon tell me. I'll try and understand." he said

"It's just that, in India, relationships without intentions of marriage are not allowed. And in some big cities, relationships before 22, don't really matter," I replied with a little laughter.

"Are you serious?" he asked, as confused as ever. "Yep, hundred percent. But I don't believe in this stuff," I said, "but for some people's mentality, I never had a relationship that meant something."

"So, you've at least have boyfriends?" he said. "Yeah, but back in India, you're parents can't know about these. It's pretty messed up, you won't get it," I said and he let out a confused laugh. "I've been pretty chilled my whole life but my parents are purely Indian, so the generation gap seems really huge," I tried to keep up the conversation. "You people have serious issues," he said and munched on a French fry. "Yeah we do. But at the end of the day, we learn that family's gonna stick with you forever and all they say and do is for your good and these typical mindsets are there because they don't know better and I don't blame them," I said, rather defensively. "That's actually pretty deep," he replied, smiling, "I really liked your company today. You want to do it again sometime?" he said.

"Yeah, about that, Niall, I would love to but I'd really enjoy these as long as they're just friendly. Hanging out with ya is fun and I would love to have a friend like you. Is that okay with you?" I asked as politely as I could. "Well, to be honest, I really wanted this to go somewhere but I think you're gonna be a great friend and yeah we're cool. Friends?" he said stretching his hand for a handshake and I shook it. "Friends!" I said with a smile.

In a different cafe along the road.

"HarryBear, I just love to be around you!" Merissa said in her kinda loud and annoying voice. "Merissa, I've to tell you something. It's really important and I have to get it out of my system," Harry said in a low voice. "Is it finally the time you tell me you love me?" she asked with an expectant smile. "What? No. Definitely not that," Harry replied, confused. "Then whatever it is, I'm not very interested," she said in a bored tone. "Well you have to listen carefully. You're a really nice person and I love how much you care for me but I don't really feel the same way for you like I did in the start," Harry said, expecting her to say something.

"Boo, are you breaking up with me?" she asked with almost teary eyes. "Oh god, don't cry now. I'm sorry but I guess we deserve more opportunities and explore more people. You get what I'm saying?" he asked. "Yeah, I guess you're right but I'll really miss you, baby!" she said with a sad expression. "You might feel sad now but you'll thank me later, I promise. And now that we're not gonna be dating anymore, I'd really appreciate you not calling me with those nicknames anymore," he said with a smile. "Fine, if you say so," she said with a sad smile.

I was walking through the hallway in my building and saw the one person I didn't want to see. I tried to avoid him but it was of no use now as he too saw me. "You! What are you doing here?" he asked me, equally annoyed by the sight of me as I was of him. "Why do you ask?" I snapped. "Well, because, this apartment no. 15 is where I live," he snapped back. What... the... hell! He was Zayn's roommate!?! "So, you followed me to my place now?" he rudely asked me. "Point number 1, I don't have time to follow absolute trash and point number 2, I live in apartment 16" I replied with equal rudeness.

"What? You were the new neighbour Zayn was talking about?! I don't believe that I was actually interested to know who it was. And that bastard didn't even tell me later!" he said and I had to say something back because that's my nature. "You see Styles, things don't always go how you like. Better get used to it." He looked at me and said, "what do you mean?"

"You always think things will go your way but guess what, that's not how the world works," and I don't know why my words kind of enraged him. "You have no idea who and what I am and you felt free to comment on my life?!" he said with a new anger in his eyes. "I know exactly how spoilt douchebags like you are," was my brave response. "Then let me judge you, wannabe new Indian girl on the block. You think that everything is important whereas it isn't. You like to exaggerate everything and somehow always get to play victim. Like seriously, you made a scene out of a pen!" he said with a faint laugh and no one, I repeat, no one has ever had the guts to speak to me like that.

"I guess one punch wasn't enough for you. Like how cheap and racist can you get to bring my nationality in all this! First I had doubts but now I'm sure, you are an absolute jerk. Honestly speaking, this behaviour of yours proves that no matter where you grow up, it doesn't matter if you're not taught well from the start," these excessive mean words came out of my mouth and I thought to myself that maybe I said too much. Before I could think more, he pinned me to the wall.

"What the hell are you doing?!" I exclaimed. "Who do you think you are to comment on my life? You don't know anything!" he said as angrily as he could. "As if you haven't done the same?" I said right on his face. "You went too far with this!" he said still holding me tight to the wall. "Maybe I did, but maybe you deserved it," I replied. "Just shut the fuck up!" he lashed out. "You think you can scare or intimidate me by showing off your strength and so called masculinity. Well guess what, this doesn't make you a man. It just makes you an insecure coward!" I said, looking him sharply in the eye. With this, he was a little taken back. He let go off me and took a few steps back. "You don't know me Maya. You don't know what you're talking about," saying these repeatedly, he walked into his apartment and I entered mine.

Woah, what the hell was that? A normal argument had just escalated to now that I'm thinking, a lifetime of hatred. Yeah, it's true, I fucking hate Harry Styles!

Phew! That was some intense hate. I'm really enjoying writing this. Please keep reading.
