Hello all Storm here with a new chapter! It's been a while since I updated this story, but I'm back and now we'll finally be seeing the attack on Suna and Oto, there will be deaths, there will be pain, and most of all Naruko thoroughly enjoying herself. Also for those that want to, feel free to play "War by Edwin Starr" when the attack begins. So, without further ado.
I own nothing
Two days after Naruko's and the Feuerjaegers subjugation of Takumi Village, along with gaining the allegiance of Raiga Kurosuki and his gang, the rest of Konoha's army had reached Takumi Village. With the first thing they saw, being the mutilated corpse of Seimei hanging from the gates. Much to the horror of some of the weaker-willed Ninja and Genin, including Ino, Kurenai, and Tsunade. The latter of whom terrified at the sight of all the blood, but due to the seal on her, she couldn't freeze up at the sight of blood.
It only got worse, when they walked through the village, and saw just how utterly crushed and broken the inhabitants were, along with taking notice of the collars that they were all wearing. Before they reached the center of the village, where they saw Seimei's head impaled on a pike, for all to see.
"How could these be allowed?! The Hokage has to learn about this and put that lunatic in a cell!" Kurenai exclaimed, disgusted, and horrified to see what Naruko had done, firsthand, and refused to believe that the Hokage would allow this to happen, knowing the Uzumaki couldn't be allowed to continue doing this.
"Kurenai, be quiet." Said Asuma, with Kurenai about to say something, only to be silenced by the serious expression on his face, something rare for the normally laidback Jōnin.
"This is the reality of war, you either win, die, or stay out of it. And for these people, they chose to get involved by allying with Suna and Oto, now they're suffering the consequences of that choice. And do you really think, if the situation was reversed, they'd show mercy to me, to you, to any of us? No, they wouldn't, they'd do the exact same thing, or even worse, if they thought any of us would be more useful alive, for other purposes." Asuma said, not saying exactly what the "purposes" were, but all the experienced Ninja knew what he meant, while Kurenai didn't have a retort to this, but still believed it was wrong.
"If you don't like it, then fine, you don't have to. But what you should be concerned about, is making sure you're still alive, when this is over. That goes for all of you." Said Asuma, looking at the Genin, who nodded shakily, most of them still unnerved, when they saw Seimei's corpse.
It was just a reminder that this wouldn't be like any mission they've been on before. They were now in the middle of a war, with a high chance that they will die, or even end up like Seimei. Now they can only do as Asuma said, make sure that they're still alive when this is all over.
*Suna*
Meanwhile the Suna Council and the remaining Oto leaders under Guren, were currently going over battle plans after getting reports that Konoha's army was now passing through the Land of Rivers. Meaning it wouldn't be long until they arrived, and they had to be ready when they did.
The meeting was then interrupted when a Suna Ninja burst into the Council Chambers, looking shaken and terrified.
"What do you have to report?" Baki questioned, recognizing them as one of their spies that had been monitoring Takumi Village, to make sure they didn't plot to betray them
Though Baki became a little unnerved when the man looked ready to burst into tears before he pulled out two scrolls, placing one on the table and opened the other one to read.
"Hey there...you…dumb f-f-fucking…S-Suna and O-Oto f-fuck-fuckfaces…m-me a-and m-my new te-team…are c-co-coming to-to k-kill y-you a-all…w-we-we've a-already t-taken th-the v-village of bl-blacksmiths pl-playing dr-dress u-up. I-I to-took great en-enjoyment t-tortu-torturing that we-weakling S-Seimei, h-his b-body now de-decorates the to-town gates. We-we a-also to-took K-Katabami G-Gold Mines an-and now we-we're c-coming f-for…Oh Kami!" The man cried falling to his knees, as everyone felt more than a little disturbed at realizing he was reading a letter, meaning he had been captured and sent here
"…coming for you…so I-I hope you've m-made pe-peace wi-with yo-your pathetic lives…because I-I am go-going t-to c-cut yo-you into ti-tiny pi-pieces and make yo-your f-families ea-eat them b-before k-killing…them! Si-signed N-Naruko U-Uzumaki. P.S. n-now wa-watch as-as this li-little bi-bitch dies…OH KAMI NO-!" The messenger screamed as an icicle shot out of the scroll impaling his throat
Everyone could only watch in horror as the messenger choked and gagged on his own blood before finally falling over dead.
Shakily, Baki got up and grabbed the other scroll and saw it was the spies report of what happened in Takumi Village. Opening it, Baki's face turned green as he felt nauseous to learn the exact details of what happened, and the torture inflicted on Seimei. Once he finished reading it, Baki passed the scroll around to the other council members and Oto leaders, all of them feeling just as sick, with some of the weaker-willed members actually doubling over and emptied their stomachs. Even Guren felt sick, but refused to give up until she avenged Orochimaru, not caring what Naruko did.
Baki took a few breaths as he realized just how quickly the Land of Rivers had been conquered and brought under Konoha's control. And that was just Naruko and this new team of hers, meaning it wouldn't be long until they and the rest of Konoha's army arrived.
But even with this knowledge, everyone still began preparing for when they did arrive and what would most likely be the final fight of their lives.
*Timeskip-Three Days*
Three days passed, since Naruko's message had been delivered to the Suna Council and Oto Leaders. Since then, both the Feuerjaegers and the rest of Konoha's army have now arrived at the border of Sunagakure, where they could see the village just off in the distance.
Currently, Naruko stood on a stage of ice, looking out at Suna with a smirk on her face.
"Is everything ready?" Naruko asked, while looking at Tayuya and Karin, the latter of whom holding a camera.
"Yeah, four-eyes managed to splice into their communications network. All we need to do is start rolling, by the way, if I haven't said it before, I'll say it now, you are really a sadistic bitch." Tayuya stated, not believing Naruko was actually doing this, which was hijacking the communications network in Suna to deliver a message to the entire village.
Giving those, who wish to, a chance to surrender themselves, before the massacre begins, along with telling those that stay exactly what she plans to do to them.
"Oh Tayuya, if you want me to fuck you, all you needed to do was ask. There is no need to butter me up." Naruko cooed, with Tayuya pinching the bridge of her nose.
"I'm surrounded by psychos." Muttered Tayuya, swearing that after all of this over, she was getting drunk.
Smirking, Naruko turned to Karin and motioned her to start rolling, while the rest of the army looked on in confusion at what she was doing. Turning the camera on, Karin gave Naruko a nod, showing they were on, with the reincarnated Uzumaki turning her attention to the camera, and addressed all of Suna.
"Ladies, gentlemen, boys and girls, and that technicolor rainbow in between, I am Naruko Uzumaki. You may remember me from that piss poor invasion that you all attempted, not even a month ago, during the Chūnin Exams. Of course if you encountered me during that invasion, you won't remember, since I've already made you into vulture food. But that's not what I'm here to talk to about, today. Today, I'm making an announcement!" Naruko declared, as the citizens of Suna listened in fear and trepidation of whatever it is Naruko was going to say.
"I am hereby offering all of you one last chance to surrender yourselves. Those of you, who wish to live past today will leave Suna and give themselves up to the army, just outside your walls. And for those of you, who still believe you have a fighting chance; I offer you all the chance to fight me one-on-one. And much like Tsunade, I will accept all comers." Naruko said, while smirking at the camera.
"How dare she…?!" Tsunade growled, wanting to throttle Naruko's neck, but couldn't.
"For those of you who wish to live, or to try and challenge me, you all have seven hours. That should give you plenty of time to prepare. Or for those not participating, time to connect with loved ones, get your affairs in order, or maybe just kill your boss! Get a purge going! Live a little! Because when the time runs out…well, to give you an idea…" Naruko said, before raising her hand as storm clouds gathered overhead, for everyone to see.
And just like she did during the Chūnin Exams, Naruko created a gigantic ice dragon. Which she then directed straight towards the ground, where it exploded, creating a massive gathering of icicles in the desert.
"So, keep that in mind, and I'll see you in a few hours! Also, feel free to pray to Kami. But spoilers, I won't be listening." Naruko stated, as Karin turned off the camera.
"Hehehehe, I'm really liking your style, Ice Queen." Said Raiga smirking, as he and the rest of the Feuerjaegers stood off to the side, having watched Naruko send her broadcast to Suna.
"Is this all just a game to you?!" Jiraiya demanded, marching up to Naruko, not believing what she was doing, or how Minato's daughter could be this…this twisted.
"A game? Hardly. If this were a game, I'd be having fun or conditioning my new pet." Naruko said, while looking at Kujaku, the woman that she claimed as her new pet, who whimpered in fear at the sadistic glee in Naruko's eyes.
"Well, are you gonna go and wait, like everyone else?" Asked Naruko, motioning Jiraiya to go away, with Jiraiya looking at her, having trouble believing that this is Minato and Kushina's daughter, before walking away.
'There's a good little toad.' Naruko thought, having no patience to deal with her sorry excuse for a godfather.
Naruko then created a throne of ice and sat down, waiting to see who will surrender or if anyone will try challenging her. She also kept her Ice Storm Commander-In-Chief active since she couldn't stand the heat.
Along with wanting to see how long she could keep it active in the desert.
Though what many didn't know, is that while Naruko's message was intended to cause chaos within Suna and see who will surrender. It had another purpose, given its already past noon and when the time limit has expired, the moon will be out. Which, along with Shukaku, will give Gaara the power to break through Suna's gates and walls.
Now, they just had to wait and see who will surrender, and who will die.
*Later*
After almost four hours, Naruko saw a decent sized group of villagers and Ninja leaving Suna, and making their way to the army. As the group approached, Naruko recognized a few Ninja, mostly Genin, including Matsuri, Sari, Yukata, and Ameno, from what she learned from Gaara, Temari, and Kankuro.
'And isn't this a surprise, the Honored Siblings, Chiyo and Ebizō.' Naruko thought, surprised to see the Honored Siblings were surrendering.
Soon, the group had reached their location, with Naruko smirking.
"So, are you surrendering, or simply decided to not wait until your time was up to die?" Naruko asked, while creating several icicle around her.
"You know why we're here, Ice Queen. We know the only way to survive is surrendering, so we surrender ourselves to you." Chiyo said, the chosen leader of those that surrendered, with Naruko's smirk widening as she got rid of the icicles.
"Hm, very well, I'll accept your surrender…if Gaara also accepts it." Said Naruko wickedly, as the groups eyes widened in fear, before they looked at Gaara who looked at them with wide psychotic eyes, an expression usually seen right before he kills someone.
Their fear only growing when Gaara began chuckling in a deranged manner, all of them paling at the chance that they had simply walked to their deaths. Only to be shocked when his normal neutral expression returned.
"I accept your surrender, as well. But if any of you ever even think of wasting this chance, we've given you, you'll that wish I let Shukaku kill you, instead." Gaara threatened, all of them nodding in terror at the threat, even more so than if Gaara just killed them.
After the group had been escorted into the army's camp, along with being watched and monitored, in case they tried anything, they resumed waiting until time expired. With a couple more people showing up and surrendering themselves.
Finally, the seven hours had expired, meaning now was the time to attack. But before that, Naruko stood up and addressed the army, sensing that some of them were still unsure about the idea of attacking Suna, like this, or those afraid of the chance that they'll die.
"Listen, all of you!" Naruko said loudly, getting everyone's attention as they looked at the ice user.
"I'm sure many of you are afraid, afraid of the chance that you will die here tonight. Or perhaps, you believe that our intent to destroy Sunagakure is unjust and wrong. And I will tell you all this right now, it is not wrong or unjust! Sunagakure was our ally, and yet they willingly worked with Orochimaru to attack Konoha, with the intent destroy it and kill us all! We may have pushed them back, but at a cost of comrades, friends, and family dying, including the Sandaime Hokage. Even with Orochimaru dead, there are still those loyal to him, who would not hesitate to kill any of you, in revenge for their masters death! Not caring who you are, what rank you have, whether you were a civilian or a Ninja! And Suna believes that they can be forgiven for their crimes, when they should have been loyal to their allies, instead they betrayed Konoha and are now suffer the consequences. Even now, after learning of Oto's betrayal by killing their own Kazekage, they still ally themselves with the remnants of Orochimaru's forces! It's time they learned, it's time everyone learned, that betrayal will not be met with forgiveness, it will not be met with an offer of friendship, it will be met with force and retaliation! That no one will threaten our homes, our friends, or our families, unless they wish to have any attacks repaid a hundredfold! What say you all, will stand and fight, or cower in fear?!" Naruko shouted, looking at the army, as they all shouted in agreement, as Naruko drew the Kusanagi and aimed it at Suna.
Looking at Gaara, Naruko nodded at her fellow Jinchūriki, with Gaara returning it. Before the redhead raised his hands, causing the ground to begin shaking before dozens of giant pillars of sand shot out of the ground, and began assaulting the gates and walls around Suna.
Gaara having been breaking down the desert sand to be used, for the past seven hours, and moving it around Suna, waiting to use it. And with Shukaku and the full moon increasing his strength, Gaara was able to control the several hundred tons of sand he's collected and use it to destroy the gates and walls.
Within only a few moments, the walls surrounding Suna had been reduced to rubble, leaving the village itself, open and defenseless.
"ATTACK!" Naruko declared, as the army charged forward, with the moment they reached Suna, all hell broke loose within the soon to be destroyed village.
*With Gaara and Raiga*
"Lightning Style: Lightning Ball!" Raiga said, grinning madly as he fired off several balls of lightning at the Suna and Oto Ninja, with their bodies being reduced to charred carcasses after being hit.
"Sand Tsunami!" Said Gaara, slamming his hand on the ground as a giant wave of sand shot up from the ground, before washing over dozens of Suna and Oto Ninja, either being crushed from the impact or remained buried in the sand, though Gaara didn't stop there.
"Grand Sand Mausoleum Seal!" Said Gaara, as the sand formed up with the Ninja still trapped within, before compacting it into a large pyramid.
"Hm, interesting attack and lovely way to have several funerals at once. But it's missing something." Raiga said, before raising the Kiba blades into the air as they were covered in lightning.
"Fangs of Lightning!" Said Raiga, sending two blasts of electricity into the sky, before bringing his swords down as he called down a lightning strike right on top of the sand pyramid.
The combined attack resulting in the sand being fused together, creating a pyramid made of glass, as the Ninja that were trapped within are now dead and forever frozen inside.
"It's…beautiful. Now I can see their faces and always remember, the times we shared." Raiga said with tears in his eyes at seeing a new way to hold funerals, where he can always see the faces of the friends, he has to bury.
"Wouldn't it be better if the pyramid was hollow inside, and then filled with sand or water. Or just trapping them inside with a limited amount of air." Said Gaara, making Raiga look at him with wide eyes, before grinning wickedly.
"Yes! I've finally met someone who shares my love of funerals! After this, we'll think of new ways to hold funerals to honor our fallen friends, like we have these ones." Said Raiga, being more and more pleased at having taken Naruko's deal.
The two then continued killing the enemy forces, combining their lightning and sand to take them down.
*With Sasuke, Kin, and Shizune*
"The best place to throw Senbon is into the neck, given if you aim it right, the attack can either incapacitate or kill an enemy. With it being lethal, no matter what, especially if you add poison or channel Chakra into it, to increase the speed and strength." Shizune said to Sasuke and Kin, before throwing five Senbon into the throats of five enemy Ninja, with the two younger Uchiha watching as they collapsed to the ground, dead.
"Now you two try." Said Shizune, handing them a dozen Senbon, with Kin throwing them normally, along with her bell ones, while Sasuke channeled Lightning Chakra into them.
"Uh Shizune, not that I don't mind the lessons. But is now really the best time to teach us how to throw Senbon?" Kin asked, thinking the middle of a battled wasn't the best time to be instructed.
"Now's actually the best time, as it'll give you actual experience in aiming such a small weapon, along with aiming at moving targets." Shizune replied, before going through handsigns and expelling a cloud of poison gas at a group of Oto Ninja.
The two younger Uchiha nodded, seeing the wisdom in doing that, since the best way to gain combat experience is in an uncontrolled environment, against real enemies. Even more so since they didn't have to hold back from killing them.
'I wonder what happens if you use Fire Chakra.' Kin thought, seeing Sasuke's Senbon with Lightning Chakra either paralyzed or killed enemies.
Wanting to test it, Kin channeled Fire Chakra into her Senbon, before throwing them at three Suna Ninja, stabbing into their throats. The girl's eyes widening in surprise, when the Senbon actually caught fire and began burning the Ninja from the inside out.
'Huh, neat.' Thought Kin, before going back to killing more enemies.
*With Kakashi and Gai*
Kakashi jumped from enemy to enemy, stabbing a Raikiri through each of their hearts..
"That's makes 22 for me." Kakashi said, before pulling out a kunai with an Explosive Tag on it and threw it through another Oto Ninja's head.
"Severe Leaf Hurricane!" Said Gai, taking out three more Suna Ninja.
"Yosh! That makes 22 for me Kakashi! We're now tied-" Gai said, only to stop when Kakashi's Explosive Tag went off.
"Make that 25." Said Kakashi, while patting Gai on the back.
"Curse your cool, hip attitude, Kakashi!" Shouted Gai, before leaping up and delivering a jump kick at an Oto Ninja, sending them flying into a group of enemies, taking them down.
*With Kankuro*
Kankuro controlled both Crow and Black Ant attacking his former comrades and the Oto Ninja, using the numerous blades within both puppets and poisons in Crow.
He then noticed an Oto Ninja sneaking up on one of the Konoha Ninja nearby, and quickly directed Black Ant to them, as the puppet opened up and trapped them inside.
"Black Secret Technique Machine One Shot." Kankuro said, as Crow separated into several pieces with knives popping out, before impaling into the slots on Black Ant, killing the Ninja inside.
Looking at the Ninja he just saved, Kankuro cried when a rock was thrown at his head.
"I don't need your help, woman beater!" Shouted the Kunoichi, while glaring at him.
"Are you kidding me?! I barely touched her! Wait, it wasn't like that!" Kankuro said.
"He admitted!"
"He touched a girl, without consent!"
"Get him!"
'Why me?!' Kankuro thought, before running from the angry mob.
*With Temari*
"Wind Style: Wind Scythe Jutsu!" Temari said, swinging her fan, trapping a group of Suna Ninja in a vortex of wind, as their bodies were slashed apart by the razor sharp wind currents.
'Finally! I can finally get to fight!' Temari thought, glad at getting the chance to fight, given her opponents forfeited in the Chūnin Exams, everyone was taking out her targets during the invasion, and there wasn't any fighting on the way to Suna.
Now she was taking every opportunity she could to fight anyone she could get to before anyone else killed them. Unfortunately, while Temari was pleased by this, she's so far just gotten cannon fodder and was hoping for a challenge.
Temari then jumped back, just as a blast of wind impacted where she had been standing. Looking at where it came from, Temari saw a Suna Ninja holding a large battle fan like her own, and from she could sense, they were also pretty strong.
'Yes! Finally, I can have a challenge!' Temari thought, glad to get an opponent that can challenge her, as she held her fan up.
Though not even a moment later, a kunai was lodged into the Suna Ninja's throat from behind, killing them as Tenten jumped out from behind them.
"Are you serious?! That was my opponent, go find your own!" Temari shouted, now angry at her opponent being killed.
"Try to be faster, next time." Tenten stated, while smirking, with Temari growling in anger, before swinging her fan and unleashing a blast of wind at a group of Suna Ninja.
*With Hinata*
Hinata panted as she knocked out several Oto Ninja, not being able to bring herself to really kill them, with Shino and Kiba actually taking care of that part for her. Though now, she was starting to feel tired from the constant fighting.
"M-maybe we should find somewhere to rest a little and regain our strength." Hinata said, before looking around and got worried, when she didn't see Shino or Kiba anywhere.
"Shino? Kiba? Where are you?" Hinata called out, worried that she somehow got separated from her teammates.
Closing her eyes, Hinata opened them as her Byakugan activated, hopefully to find out where they were and if they were safe.
Only for her eyes to widen, as she quickly jumped back to avoid being attacked from behind.
Seeing who attacked her, Hinata's eyes widened further in shock, when she saw it was Neji glaring hatefully at her.
"N-Neji, what're you doing?" Hinata asked, a little afraid at the hatred on her cousins face.
"Getting revenge for my father!" Neji shouted, before attacking Hinata again, with the Hyūga girl dodging his attacks while looking at him in shock.
Hinata knew that Neji held a grudge against the Main House, and her specifically, for what happened to his father, her uncle Hizashi, but she didn't think he'd actually go far enough to actually try attacking her.
"Neji, please, stop this! I don't want to fight you!" Hinata said, trying to talk some sense into him, while dodging his attacks.
"Shut up! AH!" Neji exclaimed, before shouting in pain, when Hinata subconsciously struck a Tenketsu in his left arm, making it go numb.
"S-sorry!" Hinata said, not meaning to do that and just reacted, as Neji growled in anger at the loss of his arm, but still continued attacking.
"Neji, please, just tell me why're you doing this?" Asked Hinata, as while Neji held a grudged against her, he's never gone far enough to attack her like this and figured that something must have caused this.
"Because your father killed mine, and even tried lying about what happened to him!" Neji screamed, his mind going back to the meeting he had with Hiashi, just before they left to go to Suna.
*Flashback*
"You wished to see me, Hokage-sama." Said Neji stiffly, burying the anger he felt, while Hiashi stood up and walked around his desk to his nephew.
"Yes Neji. I wanted to give you this, it was given to me by Hizashi before…he wanted you to have it, when you were ready." Hiashi said, pulling out a scroll and handing it to Neji, who looked at it intensely after hearing it was from his father.
Opening it, Neji's eyes widened, when he saw it was a letter for him from his father, explaining that Hizashi had chosen to take Hiashi's place in dying and being sent to Kumo. But not because it was his fate or he was ordered to, but so he could protect his brother and the Hyūga Clan.
Gripping the scroll tightly, Neji looked at Hiashi, only to see him bowing on the floor.
"I know nothing I can say will ever truly matter Neji, but I am truly sorry. I wish I had gone instead of Hizashi, he didn't deserve to die because of my mistakes." Hiashi said, having always regretted Hizashi's death and wished that things could have been different, that he was the one who died and Hizashi lived.
Though with his head bowed down, Hiashi didn't see the anger on Neji's face as he looked at the scroll.
'Does he expect me to believe these lies?!' Neji thought, refusing to believe his father would willingly choose to die, instead believing that this letter was a fake and Hiashi was trying to trick him, to make him a good little slave for the Main Branch.
But while Neji was being consumed by his hatred and anger, he didn't realize that the scroll was written in his own father's handwriting, with no sign of forgery or mistakes.
Not saying a word, Neji exited the office as Hiashi looked up, sighing at not getting a response.
'Perhaps he just needs time to himself, to come to terms with the truth.' Hiashi thought, standing up, while believing his nephew needed to be alone right now.
However, Hiashi couldn't help, but get a bad feeling from the fact Neji didn't say anything and simply left. He could only hope nothing bad comes of this.
*End Flashback*
Hinata looked at Neji in shock and disbelief at what she just heard. That Neji was so lost in his delusions and self-righteousness, that he'd believe her father would ever create such a lie. While Hinata knew her father was a rather distant and cold person, he would never make up such a lie about his brother.
The fact that Neji actually believe what he was saying as well, Hinata didn't even recognize him as her cousin. Instead, all she saw was a stranger, wearing her cousins face.
"And now, I'll avenge him by the killing the one that lead him to his death!" Neji shouted as he rushed Hinata, delivering a palm strike straight towards her heart.
Hinata's eyes widened in fear, since she had been distracted, and didn't have time to dodge or deflect the strike. Only to be horrified, when Shino suddenly appeared and jumped in front of the strike, as he was hit right in his heart.
"Shino!" Hinata screamed in horror at seeing her teammate be struck, before he immediately fell over the palm strike, due to it causing his heart to burst.
"Shino!" Shouted Kiba as he ran up, the three of them having gotten separated in the fighting, while being shocked, horrified, and angry when he saw Shino shield Hinata from Neji's attack.
Falling to her knees, Hinata raised a shaky hand to Shino's shoulder, but didn't get any reaction.
"H-he's…he's dead…" Hinata muttered with tears in her eyes.
"Yes, he is dead. I suppose I was wrong; your fate isn't to be a failure. Your fate is to have everyone around you, die." Neji taunted, pleased at having caused Hinata pain before killing her.
In response to the death of their host, and the threat to his friend. The Kikaichū, and various other insects that Shino had collected for his hive, expelled from his body to attack Neji. Only to ultimately be cut down by the fallen Hyūga, thanks to his Byakugan and Jūken strikes, along with a few Rotations, as well.
"Such pests should know better, than to strike their betters. Now should I torment you even further by killing the Inuzuka and his pup, or should I take out of your misery, right now?" Neji mockingly asked, taking pleasure at the shock and sadness of Hinata's face, before deciding on his next target and turning his attention to Kiba and Akamaru.
But before Neji could react, he gasped in pure pain, when Hinata suddenly shot up and swung a kunai at his right arm. Neji could only watch with wide terrified eyes, as blood flew everywhere, while his now severed arm fell to the ground. Though what terrified Neji, was when Hinata looked him straight in the eye, and he didn't see any emotions in them, no anger, no sadness, no despair, they were completely and utterly blank.
Neji didn't have time to register the pain of his lost arm, before Hinata slashed her kunai across his throat, killing the fallen Hyūga.
"H-Hinata." Kiba muttered hesitantly, shocked at Hinata's brutal execution.
Before Kiba could approach his teammate, Hinata suddenly shot off towards a group of enemy Ninja's that had shown up. All of them tried attacking the Hyūga, only for Hinata to dodge and weave through their attacks, with her natural flexibility, all while swinging her kunai across their throats, stabbed it into their chests, or simply gravely injured them as she kept moving and attacking.
It was only when blood splattered across her face, that Hinata blinked in confusion at what happened and where she suddenly was. Before immediately falling unconscious as the adrenaline left her body.
Thankfully, before the remaining enemies could kill her, a team of Konoha Ninja, led by one of Naruko's Shadow Clones, arrived and took them out.
'My oh my, doesn't she have a secret side. One that apparently enjoys some bloodshed.' The Clone thought, looking around in approval at all the Ninja that Hinata killed, seeing she was wrong before, and that Hinata did have what it takes to be a Ninja, a rather lethal one with the right training.
'And I'll be making sure she gets that training and fully embraces the killer she has within her.' Thought the Clone, refusing to let Hinata's potential go to waste.
"Take her back to the encampment, along with her teammate, and collect Shino's body to be returned to Konoha." Ordered the Clone, as the Ninja nodding as they took Team Eight back to the encampment.
Once they left, the Clone dispelled, transferring the memories back to the original.
*With Shikamaru*
"Hey, hey! Come on kid snap out of it!" Someone said, shaking Shikamaru's shoulder, as the Nara blinked a few times in confusion at what just happened.
Looking around, Shikamaru's eyes widened in shock, when he saw dozens of Oto and Suna Ninja lying on the ground dead. Looking at himself, Shikamaru was shocked even further, when he saw he was covered in blood and holding a bloody kunai, while his shadow waved around wildly, before calming down and returning to normal.
'What…what happened?' Thought Shikamaru, looking around in confusion, wondering if he blacked out.
Shikamaru then caught sight of Ino sitting against a wall, shivering as she looked at him in fear and horror. Seeing his teammates, it took a moment for Shikamaru to remember what happened and began looking around rapidly.
"Chōji!" Shikamaru shouted, looking for his friend, worried and fearful as he remembered what happened before he blacked and was hoping he was wrong.
He remembered capturing enemies with his shadow, while Chōji crushed them under his enlarged fists. But while they were doing that, Ino had been freaking out over what was going on, not used to being in a real life or death situation. Leading to her not noticing an enemy sneaking up behind her, but Chōji did and jumped in front of her and then was…Shikamaru shook his head, refusing to believe it really happened as he looked for his friend.
Only for the Ninja that brought him out of his stupor to shake their head sadly.
"If you mean the Akimichi, I'm sorry, but they didn't make it." Said the Ninja, with Shikamaru's eyes widening as he finally saw where Chōji was lying on the ground, unmoving.
*With Baki*
Baki grit his teeth as he and the other Ninja leaders jump across the roofs, having managed to gather what little reinforcements they could locate. Though, from what he could see of the fighting going on, Baki doubted it'd do them any good.
Though Baki's eyes widened as he quickly jumped down from the roof, just as dozens of icicles shot up and impaled the Ninja, he was with.
'Damn it!' Baki mentally cursed, before looking around, knowing who was responsible for the attack, before finally spotting Naruko standing on a nearby roof.
"Uzumaki." Baki said lowly, pulling out a kunai, knowing a fight between them would result in his death, but he'd make sure to at least try and take her down with him.
"Oh, I won't be fighting. A certain kitty I adore has a score to settle with you." Naruko said while smirking at the Suna Ninja, as Yūgao Uzuki, or as Naruko knew her, Anbu Neko, appeared in front of Baki as she glared at the one who killed Hayate.
Drawing her new sword, one she had gotten in Takumi when they passed through it, as Yūgao swore to avenge Hayate right here and now.
Looking at the woman, Baki frowned at the stance she was taking, recognizing it as the same one that Konoha Jōnin he killed used.
"That man in Konoha, you knew him." Stated Baki, with Yūgao's glare intensifying.
"His name was Hayate." Yūgao said, just as two Shadow Clones appeared and charged towards Baki.
Seeing the familiar attack, Baki bent back to avoid the swords slashes and quickly destroyed the Shadow Clones. Knowing what was coming next, Baki held up his hand.
"Blade of Wind!" Baki said, launching the invisible wind blade at Yūgao, as she swung her sword at it.
Expecting his attack to just phase through the attack and kill her, Baki was shocked when his Blade of Wind seemed to be absorbed into Yūgao's sword, which then ignited with flames. Though rather than continue and attack him, Yūgao suddenly vanished in a burst of smoke.
'Another Shadow Clone!' Thought Baki, quickly turned around and saw Yūgao as descending towards him with her flame-covered sword.
Before Baki could dodge or block the strike, he gasped in pain, when Yūgao swung her sword at him.
For a moment nothing happened, as Baki shook where he stood, while Yūgao landed in front of him. Then without warning, Baki's body fell backwards, having been cut straight down the middle by Yūgao's attack, with the wound being cauterized by the flames.
Releasing a breath, Yūgao stood up and sheathed her sword, glad that Hayate had been avenged. Looking at Naruko, Yūgao nodded to the Uzumaki, who returned the nod before vanishing in a burst of smoke.
*With Naruko*
Naruko hummed a small tune, as she casually ducked and dodged any attacks from the Suna and Oto Ninja, killing them as she did so. Either with her sword, her ice, or her bare hands.
'This is starting to get boring. I was hoping for a challenge, but so far, all I've gotten is cannon fodder.' Naruko thought with a sigh, before flicking her wrist up, making dozens of icicles shoot out of the ground and impale the remaining enemy Ninja.
"How disappointing." Naruko said, before sensing someone above her, with the Uzumaki seeing Guren going through handsigns.
"Crystal Style: Growing Crystal Thorns!" Shouted Guren, creating pink crystal vines with thorns, that began rapidly growing towards Naruko.
Unphased by the incoming attack, Naruko merely raised her hand, launching a blast of ice at the crystals, freezing them before they shattered.
"Crystal Style: Jade Crystal Sword!" Guren said, materializing blue crystal blades on each of her forearms as she charged Naruko and swung her blades at her, with the Uzumaki blocking and deflecting the strikes.
"So, I take it that you are the leader of what's left of the snake's minions." Naruko stated, with Guren growling as she began attacking with more ferocity.
"You're going to pay for killing Orochimaru-sama! I'll make sure you suffer every pain and torture I can inflict, before cutting your head off!" Screamed Guren as she continued attacking, with Naruko smirking at her as she held a hand behind her back and blocked the woman's strikes.
"Interesting proposal. Here's my counteroffer, surrender right now and I'll make you my personal servant." Naruko said.
"I'd never serve you, after what you did, you bitch!" Guren shouted, before jumping up and going through handsigns.
"Crystal Style: Crystal Lance!" Said Guren, as one of her blades transformed into a giant crystal lance, as Guren flew towards Naruko with her lance held out to impale her.
Smirking, Naruko unsealed Samehada and swung the sentient sword at the crystal lance. Pleased at Guren's shock as her crystal lance shattered, as Samehada absorbed the Chakra used to make it.
Naruko then kicked Guren into a wall, where she restrained her arms and legs with ice, before moving close to her.
"Hmhmhmhmhm, come into my parlor, said the spider to the fly. It seems you're trapped and helpless. Now what exactly shall I do with you?" Naruko said, smiling wickedly, as Guren snapped and growled at her, even trying to bite her until Naruko restrained her head as well.
Though despite that, Guren still kept fighting against her restraints, much to Naruko's amusement. An amusement, which only increased when Guren started crying.
"Just…just kill me…let me join my master" Guren cried, knowing she had no chance of beating Naruko, and now simply wanted to die to see Orochimaru again.
"Oooh, how sad. What happened to that fire, that anger? Weren't you going to avenge the snake, or are you just that big of a coward?" Naruko taunted, knowing that even if she killed her, Guren wouldn't be able to see Orochimaru again.
"Just kill me! Please!" Screamed Guren, just wanting to die already.
"Hmm, how about…" Naruko said, while pulling out one of her special collars and placed it around the horrified Guren's neck.
"…No. As of this moment, you belong to me, you will serve my every desire, and you will never disobey me or try running away. That collar makes sure of it, along with being unable to be removed except by me and prevents you from trying to kill yourself or attack me. And if you think of acting out, it'll also give you a nasty surprise." Naruko said, while giggling sadistically, as Guren's horror increased at being enslaved to the one who killed her master.
"Oh don't look so upset, I promise I take very good care of my pets. Now come along my little gem, we still have work to do." Naruko said, releasing Guren's restraints and forcing her to go with her as she continued killing the enemy Ninja.
Only now, she was making Guren take part in massacring the Oto and Suna Forces, as well.
*Later*
It took several more hours, but Sunagakure had finally fallen, with the remaining civilians and Ninja being captured and imprisoned. The same happening to any Oto Ninja that survived. While on Konoha's side, they lost barely over twenty percent of their own forces.
The Feuerjaegers had pleased Naruko, by taking out Guren's own "elite" team, though Raiga had spared the kid, Yūkimaru. Naruko didn't questioning it, since she figured it had to do with the kid Raiga carries around on his back. She was aware of that, given how she could both sense his Chakra and his emotions, but didn't mention it, given she didn't care as long as it didn't interfere in their work.
Naruko had placed Guren with Kujaku, pleased at having gained two new vassals from this war, and would make sure to begin training them when they returned to Konoha.
Though for now, she, Gaara, and Raiga were going to truly make sure that Suna has fallen, with no hope for revival.
"Gaara if you wouldn't mind lifting us into the air." Naruko said, with Gaara nodding as he created a sand platform that lifted the three high into the air.
"So, what's the plan?" Raiga asked, eager to see what they'll be doing to destroy the remains of Sunagakure.
Smirking, Naruko told Gaara and Raiga her plan and what they'll be doing. Once she was finished, Gaara had a glint of excitement in his eyes, while Raiga chuckled wickedly wanting to get started.
Gaara then held out his hands and began gathering every ounce of sand, he had created, and began lifting it into the air and having it take the shape Naruko instructed him to make. It took time and all his effort, but Gaara able to gather all the sand and create the shape, with Naruko nodding in approval, before aiming her hands at it and began encasing the sand creation in ice.
Once it reached the top of the creation, Raiga drew his blades and held them up.
"Fangs of Lightning!" Raiga said, calling down several lightning strikes onto the creation, none strong enough to turn the sand into glass, but super charging it and the ice with electricity.
With that complete, Naruko finished covering the thing in ice, before grinning madly as she saw that everyone on the ground could only look up at what they created. And Naruko was sure that even people in other nations could see the gigantic creation as well, given the sheer size of it.
As now, standing before them was an exact replica of the Imperial Guardian: Shikoutazer.
Of course, it couldn't actually move or attack, as it was merely a statue, But Naruko wanted to send a signal to all who will witness what's about to happen.
Holding out her hands, Naruko grunted as she began lifting Shikoutazer into the air, before moving it directly over Suna. Once it was high enough and over her target, Naruko smirked, before dropping it right on top on the destroyed village.
Not even a moment later, when the statue hit the ground, it exploded into a massive amount of sand, ice, and lightning. With the shockwave being felt even from the distance they were at, with the army down below being forced to shield their eyes from the blast.
Though once it faded, everyone could look in shock, as where was once Sunagakure, was now a twisted creation of ice and glass, with no sign of there being a Hidden Village there.
'And thus, the Five Great Nations became the Four Great Nations. Now all that's left, is for the rest of the Land of Wind to submit and this will be completed.' Naruko thought with a pleased expression, knowing they have won.
So, what did you think, good. Yep the other Konoha Ninja have seen the aftermath of Naruko's attack on Takumi Village, along with then seeing the messages Naruko has sent to Suna of what awaits them. Then we finally get to the attack and see how some of the Feuerjaegers are doing, along with seeing several deaths, some unexpected ones as well, with Naruko also gaining a new vassal in Guren. Finally, we see Naruko, Gaara, and Raiga putting on a grand display of power in utterly destroying Sunagakure, leaving the Land of Wind to finish being subjugated. So, review if you liked go away if you didn't.
Storm out
