Maya really wanted to skip the party but she had told Louis that she'd be there. She also took it as an opportunity to ask Louis about Merissa.

Maya put on a black knee-length dress, kept her long hair as it was and put on proportionate make-up. She was ready to go and found Zayn as she walked out of her place.

"You still haven't left?" she asked him, she really wanted to avoid him after why had happened between her and Harry the previous day.

"Yeah, come, let's go together."

Maya couldn't think of a proper excuse to turn down the offer so she just nodded.

They sat in the car and after few moments of silence Zayn finally spoke.

"Harry left early. He's already there," he informed out of the blue.

"Umm...okay," she didn't know what else to say.

"I thought you'd be thinking why I was alone and why Harry wasn't there."

"Why'd I care where Harry is?" Maya said, when there was no need of being defensive.

"Well, I don't know. You guys seem close," Zayn said, in a rather accusatory tone.

"I'm sorry for trying to be friends with your best friend!" Maya said, sarcastically.

"Don't pretend like you don't know what I meant!"

"Zayn, I don't know what the hell you're talking about," Maya said, softly.

"What I'm saying Maya is that I'm done with being your boyfriend when Harry is the one who makes you happy!" Zayn shouted.

Maya was completely taken back by Zayn's outburst. Before she could reply, they had reached Louis' place and Zayn walked out of the car. Maya walked out behind him and tried to catch up, she wanted to talk to him. But she didn't know what to say. She had cheated on him.

Maya entered Louis' place, disturbed. Lana and Georgia were already there and Maya ran towards Georgia as Lana was getting some drinks.

"G, I need to talk to someone," Maya said, desperately.

"Dude, what's wrong now?" she asked, concerned.

"I'm screwing everything up."

"I figured it out but what did you do exactly?"

"I kissed Harry, for a long few minutes. Zayn is mad at my closeness with Harry but he doesn't know that... I... well cheated on him. And now, I don't even know what to do!" Maya ranted and Georgia was stumped.

"What the fuck Maya!?!"

"I know I should've told you guys everything before but I was so confused."

"You're confused because you don't know what you want?" she asked.

"I don't know what I want!" Maya exclaimed.

"Really? Maya listen to your heart for one fucking time! Stop using your overthinking brain!"

"Hmm. I will. But what do I do now?"

"You'll figure it out once you make up your heart," Georgia answered.

"Thanks G. I just needed to tell someone. I swear I'll not keep any secrets anymore," Maya promised and Georgia looked a little guilty.

"Umm, Maya, I hid something from you. I'm going out with someone as you very well know but I think I should tell you who it is."

"Oh yeah. Tell me."

"It's.. it's Niall."

"What?!"

"Yeah. It's been like two weeks," Georgia said and Maya smiled.

"I'm so happy for you Georgia."

They were talking when Louis came to call them for a game but stopped as he heard Maya say, "I can't believe you're actually dating Niall!"

Louis was surprised. Niall was their best friend and he hadn't told them that he was going out with another friend of theirs. Louis walked away from there and cornered Niall in the kitchen.

"Louis, you wanted to tell me something?" Niall asked.

"Why the fuck didn't you tell us that you're dating Georgia?" Louis asked, directly.

"What!?!"

"Don't act surprised. I heard her talk to Maya about it!"

"Well.. yeah.. I.. am" Niall stammered.

"Why did you hide it from us Niall? Aren't we supposed to be absolutely honest with one another?!" Louis accused him.

"Please stop talking about honesty in this group! One friend likes another's girlfriend. One is dating a girl just because he has this weird drive to see everything as a challenge. I'm hiding a relationship because I kinda like privacy sometimes and you! Louis William Tomlinson! You don't talk about honesty! I know you're dating Harry's ex, Merissa! Georgia told me that she has seen you guys kiss in the corridor when she was with Maya and Lana! So, we all have things we're hiding from one another!" saying that Niall stormed out of the kitchen and Louis stood there, shocked but then tried to follow Niall. They were unaware of the fact that Lana was a witness to the whole conversation. Lana ran to Maya and Georgia to talk about it.

"Georgia! Why the hell did you tell Niall about Louis and Merissa? We promised we wouldn't tell anyone!" Lana said.

"It's not my fault that I'm honest with my boyfriend!" Georgia defended herself.

"Yeah but it was not too hard to hide it for a while!"

"Wait, Lana, why aren't you surprised to hear that Niall is Georgia's boyfriend?" Maya asked, suspiciously.

"Oh Maya, well, I, umm, Lana knew... about my relationship," Georgia said, guiltily.

"What! She knew?!"

"I knew," Lana said, looking down.

"Why did you tell her and not me?" Maya asked, she felt betrayed.

"Okay, Maya, you... you have been... I don't know how to say this.." Georgia started.

"You've been really busy with your Zayn and Harry love triangle!" Lana finished for her.

"What?" Maya was taken back.

"You haven't been really around that much..." Georgia started again.

"Basically, you've been pretty self-consumed for a few days now," Lana said, meanly.

"Lana, I..." Maya tried to defend herself.

"We tried to talk to you at first but then you went on about how fucked up your life was!" Lana acussed her again.

"I had no idea you guys felt this way..."

"It was high time you knew."

"I'm sorry that I've been a shitty friend. Not saying that you've been great either," Maya said.

"Excuse me?" Lana asked.

"I might've been self-consumed but you guys even came around real less. You used to run away when I wanted to talk. You might think that I used to talk about my issues only but you guys were never good listeners at all!"

"Wow! Now we're really playing this blame-game?" Georgia asked.

"I guess we are. But Maya you say that we're not good listeners, then how come we have no secrets from each other but from you?" Lana asked.

"No secrets? Really? If you had this level of transparency then does she know the real reason why you're with Liam?" Maya said.

"I...I'm with him because I... I... I like him.." Lana said, looking down.

"Lana, I know you're lying," Georgia said.

"Fine! You wanna know why? It's because I'm done with waiting for someone else!" Lana exclaimed.

Liam was coming towards them and stopped as he heard Lana said that.

"I'm tired of liking someone else. So I asked Liam out because I was mad after seeing Louis kiss Merissa!"

Liam was shook. He was hurt to hear that. The girl he likes so much is just using him. Georgia and Maya were also shocked.

"Yes, I like Louis! But he's with Merissa!" Lana finished as she let out a deep breath.

"I can't believe you hid this from me!" saying that Georgia walked away.

"I can't believe that you're playing with Liam's feelings like that!" Maya walked away too.

Liam heard it and he was thoroughly upset. He thought of talking to someone about it all but he didn't know who to go to. All of them were pretty fucked up.

Liam was in his trail of thoughts when Louis went on to make an announcement.

"Okay people! Enough of chit-chats. Now we'll all play Truth or Dare!! I know it sounds childish but don't worry cuz things will be going wild in this game!" hearing that everyone knew that Louis was drunk but it was his party so they sat in a circle to play truth or dare.

Louis spinner the bottle, the neck pointed at Lana and the bottom at Liam. It was Lana's turn to answer.

"Truth or dare?" he asked.

"Umm, truth," she answered.

Liam took a huge breath and asked, "have you ever lied in a relationship and what was it?"

There was silence in the room. Georgia and Maya shared glances for a second.

"I-I-I have," she said, looking down, "I told someone that I actually liked them when I didn't."

Maya and Georgia were taken back by her honesty and Liam let out a sad smile and said, "at least you didn't lie." That's when Lana understood that Liam had found out and she was feeling very guilty.

"Okay, let's spin again!" and Louis spun the bottle. The neck pointed at Niall and the bottom at Louis.

"Truth," Niall said, firmly and Louis smirked.

"Who are you dating?" Louis asked and Niall rolled his eyes. He slightly looked at Georgia and she nodded.

"Fine guys. Here it goes. I've been seeing Georgia for two weeks and I didn't tell you guys because all of us have been really busy the last few days."

"Woah. Didn't see that coming," Harry reacted, "but that's great mate."

Niall spun the bottle to divert the attention. The game went on for a while. After a few rounds it was Louis' turn to answer and Niall's turn to ask.

"As I'm drunk, I choose dare!" Louis announced.

Niall smirked, "okay, Louis, kiss your girlfriend."

Drunk as ever, Louis went ahead and kissed Merissa and everyone's mouths widened.

"Louis!" Merissa exclaimed as he moved back.

"I had no idea," Zayn said, shocked.

"Everyone has secrets, Zayn," Louis said, eyeing him and Zayn looked down.

Harry spun the bottle and the neck pointed at Maya. Zayn was on the other end.

"Truth," Maya said and regretted it instantly.

"Interesting. So Maya, what's the worst thing you've ever done?" he asked.

Harry straightened his back and Maya gave him a slight look.

"Fine. I'll tell you," she said and Harry looked alarmed. I had pushed away the person who loved me the most and by the time I realized my mistake, it was too late."

Silence surrounded the room and all of them were confused. They wanted to know more.

"Who was it?" Harry asked and everybody looked at him.

"It was my grandfather. He always was strict with me, used to scold me, keep me in total routine and I used to get so mad...But later I realised that he just wanted to make my life better. He wanted me to be someone of principles so that I can be who I am today. Anyways, I realized that he was the only one who had faith in me and I let him go...he died..." Maya answered. "So, I have this tendency of accepting everybody and not letting go of anyone because I feel like I might not know if that's the person who's good for me or not," saying that she looked at Zayn.

The silence was there again and Maya decided to break it off, "anyways, let's continue with the game," and she spun the bottle.

After a while it was Harry's turn to answer and Zayn's turn to ask. Zayn smirked and Harry was nervous. Zayn knew everything about him, his deepest secrets, his past, everything.

"So Harry, you've to choose truth because last time you picked dare," Zayn said, tilting his head.

"Fine. Truth."

"What..is...your biggest fear? You've to be absolutely honest, man," Zayn asked and Harry looked disturbed.

"Zayn, seriously?" he said.

"We're allowed to ask anything," Zayn said, cockily.

"Okay. My greatest fear is becoming something I've always tried not to."

"Dude, elaborate," Zayn tried to push him.

"Zayn, let it go," Niall tried to handle the situation.

"Why? The rules should be equal for everyone in every matter," Zayn replied and Niall shook his head, "c'mon Harry, elaborate."

"If you're gonna be such a dick about it, here it goes, I don't wanna be heartless and aggressive like someone I knew," Harry replied, his voice becoming heavy.

"Guys, we've been playing this for too long. Let's do something else," Liam announced and got up. The others did too and Harry looked at Zayn with a hurt expression and Zayn looked away with no guilt.

Liam was sitting alone with a drink in his hand when Lana walked to him. She sat next to him in silence.

"You don't have to say it Lana," he whispered, "I heard it."

"I'm sorry, Liam. I didn't know what I was doing."

"It's okay. I was being foolish."

"No, Liam. It's really my fault. I just ruined everything," she said, tears started to form in her eyes.

"Well, you haven't ruined anything. We're gonna be friends like we were before, like you always wanted."

"How are you so nice and forgiving?" she asked in disbelief.

"I can't hold on to something I was never meant to," saying that he smiled at her. She got down from her place. Lana softly kissed him and said, "you'll always be my friend, Liam," and walked away.

Liam sat there with a sad smile when Merissa came and sat where Lana was sitting earlier. "Break-ups hit bad. Don't they?" she asked.

"Huh?" he asked.

"I can tell by your face and what happened earlier that you're girlfriend likes someone else and now you guys just broke up."

"You're... right."

"I can't believe Louis couldn't keep our relationship secret cuz he was drunk!" she exclaimed.

"It's okay, he was drunk and nobody cared much," he said.

"Yeah but there's a problem. I'm done."

"What do you mean?"

"I really thought I wanted to be with Louis after Harry dumped me but, he was just a rebound. Remember how Harry finally started dating me in high school senior because he was just tired of me running around him for the past three years?" she asked and Liam nodded.

"Well, at that time, that's all I wanted- Harry Styles, just because he was gorgeous and popular. I started dating Louis to forget Harry and now I guess I'm forgetting both," she said with a sad smile.

"You don't want any of this shit anymore, basically?" he asked and she nodded.

"Damn! You're a great listener!" she said, smiling.

"I've heard that before," he smiled back as their eyes locked. He gently brushed a strand of hair from her face and she put a hand on his shoulder.

Louis was walking around looking for Merissa. He finally found her but he was shocked when he saw Merissa kissing Liam. He couldn't believe his eyes first but when he finally could he was furious.

"What the fuck Liam!!!??!!" he shouted and the two of them separated from their kiss. All eyes were on Louis because he was clearly going to make a scene.
