"OH SHIT!"
I'm so sorry for the wait, I haven't been feeling well recently and I lost all motivation to write this story. Then I started playing Terraria again, and time just flew by like it was nothing. However, I'm feeling better again and I'm back to write some more. I'd like to thank everyone who has followed, favorited, and reviewed this story. I know you've probably heard this a thousand times before, but thanks. Really. Each email I get from FFN telling me I got a new follower, review, or favorite is that much more motivation to see this through. So thank you. Anyways, enough nattering. Let's get to Chapter 3!

Sonic had been wasting no time on his search for Tails. He had kept the Tornado III at maximum speed the whole time he was searching, and he planned to keep it that way until he found his buddy. Now, he was nearing the area where Tails had crashed, and he looked down at the ocean. He was only looking for a few seconds before an Eggrobo whizzed by at high speed, seemingly having much more important things to do than attack Sonic. So, he followed the Eggrobo, to see if it would lead him to Tails.
Meanwhile, Eggman watched Tails' medical reading closely. The sudden spike of dark Chaos Energy caught his attention, but it vanished as quickly as it had appeared. The kitsune was still out cold, but Eggman knew he wasn't going to get any actual rest. Not here. The doctor walked out of the room, and into a hallway. He continued down this hallway until he reached a large circular room, with a glass tube in the middle. Anyone who was familiar with machinery would recognize it as a roboticizer. He walked over to the machine's control panel, and started preparing it. An Eggrobo walked in, and saluted.
"Your orders, sir?"
Eggman looked over at the robot. "Bring me the fox."
The Eggrobo saluted again. "Yes, sir." It left the room, and walked down the hallway to the room Tails was held in. Shortly after, the robot returned, holding Tails in its arms. He was still out cold.
Eggman motioned over to the roboticizer. "Put him in."
The Eggrobo obeyed, placing the fox into the glass tube. The tube sealed shut shortly after.
Eggman grinned evilly. "Now… let's get on with business."
After a few minutes of following the Eggrobo, Sonic was flying over land again. He looked down at the miles of trees and vegetation. Then, he saw a small metal object. He recognized it as a hatch. So, he brought the Tornado III down, switched to Cyclone mode, and got out. The hatch seemed to be locked shut, but it was nothing a simple Spin Dash couldn't break. After breaking the hatch, he looked down to see a long tube, going somewhere underground. He jumped in and slid down it.
Meanwhile, Tails had just woken up inside the roboticizer, and Eggman sat at the controls, grinning evilly. Tails knew exactly what he was going to do.
"Wakey wakey, Miles. I hope you're enjoying your new living accommodations."
"Very funny, Eggman. Let me out of here!"
"Oh no, Miles. I can't do that. Not when I can just press this button, and get all the information I want out of you. And then I get a robot slave! Just how wonderful is that?!"
Tails glared at Eggman.
"You don't have the guts."
Eggman's grin grew into a sadistic smile.
"Don't I?"
Eggman threw the switch at the control panel, and the robotization process began. Tails screamed as electricity arced around him and the machine. He felt the dark Chaos energy inside him reach a boiling point, and he released it all as a shockwave that destroyed the glass tube, and the roboticizer. Glass shards flew across the room.
Eggman could only gape at Tails' new form that had manifested from the dark Chaos energy. He floated eerily, and his eyes were white voids. His golden fur was now a dark crimson, and his gloves were gray. The most alarming part though, is that both his legs were robotic.
It seemed that the roboticizer had some sort of effect.
Tails glared at Eggman with his empty eyes. Eggman backed away, until he was cornered against the wall. Tails slowly raised a finger to point at him.
"Robotnik… you've made a very big mistake."
"Wait, Tails! We can talk about this!"
Tails wasn't in the mood for conversation. He appeared behind Eggman in the blink of an eye, and struck him on the back of the head. Eggman promptly fell to the ground. Several Eggrobos quickly flooded into the room, and started shooting at Tails.
The following battle was nothing short of chaos. Cyan lasers flew across the room, Tails flew back and forth, striking down the robots with his bare hands. A laser hit him in the side, but all it seemed to do was make the kitsune even angrier. He turned around to the source of the laser, which was a larger Eggrobo, with a different paint scheme. He flew towards it at an alarming speed, and crashed right through the robot, bisecting it.
Tails looked around him. All that was left was a shattered roboticizer, destroyed Eggrobos, and an unconscious Eggman. He could feel his dark Chaos energy fading, so he floated down to the ground, his new robotic legs making a quiet clang as he did. The energy faded from him, and his normal appearance was restored. The robotic legs adopted a shiny gold and red color, matching his fur and shoes. He felt dizzy, and fell to the ground. His vision went black, and he fell unconscious shortly after.
And that's it for Chapter 3! Again, I'm so so so sorry for the wait. I'll admit I was procrastinating. It won't happen again. I hope you enjoyed it, and I really hope it was worth the wait. And if it wasn't, then you have every right to yell at me and call me terrible things.
