You're very drunk.
No we can't do that here!
What bottom bunk?
No, my name isn't Keith!
Wait that's what you wanted to do?
That's wholesome.
Always look underneath the underneath.

With the help of the three wood style users, Naruto, Tenzō, and Danzō, over half the village had been rebuilt. It was tough work, as even Naruto was only able to make about 3 or so buildings an hour. After his run-in with the fire poker man, he felt like he saw him everywhere. It could have just been that now everyone was out and about all at once, but it just seemed too convenient.

"Naruto-kun," he was shaken from the thought by a familiar voice, "I bet you're exhausted, let's go get something to eat."

"Nah I'm still busy here-ttebayo. I would love to, but I need to do this first."

She hung her head, "I understand."

"HEY KEHIBAN!" A familiar voice shouted from nearby. The two turned to see their friends from the sand village walking towards them, Temari smiling and waving vigorously. She rushed in and squeezed the girl.

"Hello, Naruto," Gaara said as he approached, "It's been a while since you last visited."

"Oh yeah, you mean the time I saved you from that weird artist?"

"Right. Anyway, we wanted to support you in your time of need."

"Hey Gaara, let's get something to eat first," she yawned, "it's already pretty late, so maybe we should just start tomorrow."

"Temari I-"

"Gaara. Let's. Eat."

"Right. Sorry. Will you join us Naruto?"

"Not yet-ttebayo. I'm going to try to get some more work done here. Let me know where you guys are going and I'll stop by later."

After a while of thinking, the four decided on just getting some barbecue, let Naruto know, and walked off towards the food district. The village had been designed with structure in mind. There were separate districts set up for different things. There was the food, shopping, and housing districts so far. You could tell that there was a tremendous amount of care put into each of the buildings. It wasn't just wood pillars and walls thrown together to make cubes. Intricate carvings covered the posts, vibrant colors were used to bring life to the village, and lanterns were scattered along the walkways using string, creating a truly breathtaking night experience. You could just feel the spirit as you walked into a building. You could even tell who made it. Danzō's were regal and luxurious, Naruto's were complicated and lively, and Tenzō's were the other ones. The people of the hidden leaf were tremendously proud of their eventual home.

"Hey, you know what? I could go for a little sake," Temari said scandalously.

"Now you're speaking my language," Kankurō replied.

"You guys just do that?" Hinata asked.

"Do what? Order sake? Yeah, shinobi are basically considered old enough."

"Oh I had no idea. Sake does sound good."

"That's the spirit!"

"hey, hey, hey temari," Hinata poked at the girl. Who knew she was such a lightweight? "i'm in love with naruto."

"Yeah, we all know that."

"oh, okay," there was a long pause, "hey temari," she giggled, "who do you like?"

"No one."

"oh, okay. is it shikamaru?"

Temari went red-faced, "No. I don't know how you would- why you would think that?"

"hehe, just a guess," she crawled back to her seat and continued to eat.

"Phew, good work today," the sun had gone down and Danzō had called off work for the night. Naruto was exhausted and starving. He was going to stop by ichiraku when he remembered the sand village ninja were in town. He would meet up with them at the barbecue place instead. It had only been around an hour since they left, so there was a good chance they were still eating. He transformed into a fox for quick travel, and was there in 5 minutes. As he approached he could hear someone wailing his name.

"NARUTO-KUUUUN! NAAAARUTO-KUN!" He opened the door to the barbecue place. He followed the voice and found a screaming Hinata lying on the floor with her eyes closed. Temari and Kankurō looked exhausted, but Gaara just looked as he normally did.

"Uh, hey guys."

"Oh, hello Na-"

Gaara was interrupted, "Oh thank god you're here. She's been screaming for the past 15 minutes. Just take her."

"AH," Hinata looked up, "Naruto-kun!" She got up and started to crawl to Naruto. She tackled him by the waist and snuggled her head into his crotch, "Oh hello there, you," she said as she pulled her head back and giggled.

"Hinata, you're drooling. Here," he reached for a napkin.

"Then let me wipe it on this," she tried to pull his pants down, but he caught them just in time.

"Hinata, not right now," he whispered as he smiled awkwardly to their visitors.

"I WANT TO RIGHT NOW!" She pulled again, and Naruto countered her, pulling the opposite way. They squinted at each other and lightning sparked from their eyes. They both strengthened their grip. Naruto pulled upwards as hard as he could, but Hinata just released her grip. The front of his pants tore off, revealing boxers covered in froggies. Naruto and Hinata grew red as the three sand-nin tried to hide their laughter.

"Oh yeah, what's so funny?! I bet you guys wear embarrassing underwear too-ttebayo!"

Temari and Kankurō shook their heads, "None."

Gaara, still deadpanned, "Sand."

"What does that even mean?"

"Just forget it."

"Jus lemme," she stuck her hand out towards his resewn pants.

"Hinata please. Can you just wait?"

She crossed her arms and sat down on the ground, "I'm not moving unless you let me."

"Where? Hinata can we please just keep moving?"

"No. I dowanna."

Naruto looked up for a minute, "Fine," he grabbed her by the hand, "be quick."

"Okay, right now."

"No! Hinata we can't," she interrupted him by squeezing him tight. She held him there, rocking side to side as he returned the hug.

"Okay. That was it."

"Wait really?" She nodded, "Phew, I thought you were going to do something lewd," she giggled and latched onto his arm. She was, but he would never know. Naruto's stomach growled.

"Oh, are you hungry Naruto-kun?"

"Yeah I never really got the chance to eat," he rubbed the back of his neck.

"Well come on. I'll make you something."

Hinata presented a plate of two burnt eggs, "Uhhh, hehe, it's... egg surprise," she held an awkward smile.

"Here," he took the plate and set it down, "I'll just make something," she hung her head in shame, "It's okay. Just go rest on the couch."

"But you're tired. I want to help you," she pouted.

"Hey, cooking helps me relax-ttebayo. Just being able to see you helps me," she rolled her eyes.

"You're just saying that so I won't cry."

"Yes. So don't cry," she scowled and crossed her arms, "I'm just kidding."

"Naruto, I'm very drunk, don't mess around like that."

"Oh I didn't even notice," she rolled her eyes again, "Did you have fun?"

She smiled as she thought about the day, "Yeaaah. It was so nice to see all of those guys again. Speaking of which, where did you get this couch?"

"Speaking of what?" She replied with a loud snore, "Nevermind."

They were in Naruto's new house. Yes, that's right: house. Danzō and Tenzō had built it as a surprise. His house was at the front of the shinobi quarter housing, the closest to the Hokage tower. It was quaint and cozy. It retained the feel of sleeping in the cabin, while also having air conditioning, furniture, and a kitchen. He came to love it, and so did Hinata.

He turned the stove off and dumped the contents of the pan onto a plate. He looked proudly at his prepared meal. There weren't many grocery stores around, and to add to it, Naruto was spending his whole day building houses, so he barely had time to shop. All he had were eggs, potatoes, onion, cheese, and basic spices. He looked proudly at his omelet and hash browns, before picking up the plate and moving to the couch. He sat crisscross next to Hinata and raised her head to be supported by his leg. He brushed some hair from her mouth and began to eat.

He heard sniffing coming from Hinata, "mmmmm something smells goood," she whispered.

"Why are you whispering?"

"so i don't wake up."

"Do you wanna bite?" She opened her mouth, but kept her eyes closed. Naruto skewered some egg and potato and lowered it to her mouth. She bit down hard on the fork and recoiled back, bringing her hand to her mouth.

"OwwWWwwWwW."

"Ooh yeesh, ouch. You okay?" She shook her head and began snoring again. Naruto chuckled and took another bite, 'Never change, kehiban.'

"Ino, may I ask you something?" She nodded, "Why do you keep coming here? Tsunade is no longer screaming."

"That's true. You want to be understood, so I want to understand you."

"But I've told you so much. What more could you have to understand?"

"Well that's not really up to me to know."

"I suppose."

"I think the real question is: why are you still so surprised that I'm coming here?"

Itachi thought for a moment, "I do not have an answer to that. Do you still like to go for walks?"

"Of course."

"Me too."
