DM Margo and The Bullies Chapter 1

As Margo made her way to school each morning, she felt sick with fear.

The lessons didn't bother her, she just put her effect in like everyone else.

Most of the students and teachers were ok,

but there were some girls called Sally, Stella, and Susan. who were much older and bigger than Margo, decided to push her around whenever they got the chance.

The pushing got worse and one Monday, Margo found herself not only being pushed over,

Sally, Stella, and Susan. had grabbed her feet, picked her up, dangled her upside down and dipped her head in the school swamp when the teachers weren't looking.

Margo broke free and headed inside to the girls toilets to dry herself off with a towel before afternoon lessons. After school, Margo headed out to meet Lucy with the Sally, Stella, and Susan shouting after her, ''Mommy's Little Girl! Mommy's Little Girl!''.

Margo hoped her mom didn't hear any of them shouting those dreadful words. ''Hello Margo. How was school today?'' Lucy asked on the way home. ''It was ok Mom'' Margo said with a groan, she didn't want to admit to her mom that she had been head dipped into the school swamp.

The next morning was Tuesday and Gru and Lucy came into the girl's bedroom to wake Margo and her sisters ready for school.

''Girls, time to get up and ready for school!'' Lucy said brightly. But Margo wouldn't even make the effect to get out of bed. ''Margo come on!'' Lucy said, ''You'll miss breakfast and be late for school!''. Margo let out a groan.

''Mom I don't feel very well'' she said and buried herself under her duvet covers. ''Are you sure?'' Lucy asked pulling back the covers and feeling Margo's forehead only to find out it felt just fine and not hot at all.

"Margo, don't ever play a trick like that again, young lady. You'll get yourself into trouble!" Lucy said crossly, ''Now hurry up and get dressed and come and eat your breakfast young lady!''.

Margo whined realizing there was no way out of it. She got dressed, ate her breakfast, cleaned her teeth and headed off to school.

''Margo, what's wrong? You're gonna be late!" Lucy said on the way as her daughter whimpered in terror and walked slowly behind.

They arrived at school where Sally, Stella, and Susan were all waiting for Margo. As soon as Lucy was gone, Susan taunted, ''Hello Glasses Girl!''. Sally mocked and taunted and pointed at Margo, ''We meet again, Smarty Skirt!''.

Stella laughed evilly, ''Well, if it ain't Mommy's Little Girl!" she said nastily. ''Remember my fist?'' said Susan and punched Margo in the eye, breaking her glasses in the process and making her grunt.

Sally and Stella kicked and punched Margo and beat her up until Margo found herself lying on the floor all bruised and beaten with a bleeding nose and her glasses completely broken from being stamped on.

Margo struggled to get up, made her way into the classroom before anyone else where she sat at her desk, buried her face into her arms and cried.

Just then, Margo's friend Nia came in, ''Margo? What's wrong?'' she asked, coming to sit next to her. Margo slowly lifted her head and Nia gasped when she saw Margo's black eye and bleeding nose.

''Margo have you seen yourself in the mirror?'' Nia asked worriedly. She handed Margo her pocket mirror. Margo looked at her refection and saw her own black eye and bleeding nose which had soaked into her jacket sleeves.

''Margo, please speak to me!'' Nia pleaded, ''who did this to you?''. ''It was Stella, Sally, and Susan'' Margo admitted quietly.

Nia's sister Sophie who was also Margo's friend came up to them. ''Hello Margo, Nia'' she said, ''what's going on?''. "Stella, Sally, and Susan beat up Margo!" Nia cried, ''They're bullies! ''Margo, that's terrible, you should tell Miss Frannie!'' Sophie told her. Miss Frannie was their class teacher.

"Yeah, we gotta tell her quick!" Nia added. ''I can't tell Miss Frannie, the will find out!'' said Margo tearfully. "It's for their own good!" said Nia. ''Not if they beat me up again'' wept Margo and she began to cry again.

"Hey, hey, chillax. Miss Frannie's gonna suspend or expel 'em!" said Sophie gently, as she comforted her friend. ''What's all this about being beaten up?'' said Miss Frannie who had come in when the girls hadn't noticed and overheard everything.

"Margo's been beaten up" said Nia. ''By Sally, Stella, and Susan Miss'' said Sophie. ''And now look what happened!" said Nia. She showed Margo's black eye and bleeding nose to Miss Frannie.

"Oh my goodness!" gasped Miss Frannie, ''Margo is this true? Has this happened before?''. "Yes, Miss Frannie. I didn't wanna tell you before because they might see me and get mad" said Margo sadly.

Miss Frannie smiled and said, ''Well Margo, thank you for telling me. What those girls have been doing to you is bullying! We don't want bullies in this school!''

''No Miss Frannie'' Margo admitted. ''Now go and see the school nurse about that eye and nose while I write a letter to your parents about this'' said Miss Frannie. ''Yes, Miss Frannie'' Margo said heading out of the door.

''Have those bullies done anything else to you Margo so I could write it all down?'' asked Miss Frannie. "They grabbed me, picked me up by my feet, dangled me upside down and dipped my head into the pond and they broke my glasses'' replied Margo.

''Ok, now go and get yourself fixed up with the nurse!'' said Miss Frannie, sitting down at her desk to write to Gru and Lucy about Margo being bullied. Meanwhile Margo made her way to the school nurse who said ''Hello Margo, how can I help you?''.

''I have a sore eye and bleeding nose'' Margo said. The nurse gave her an ice pack to hold on her black eye and helped to wipe the blood away from her nose. After school, Miss Frannie handed Margo the letter for her to hand to Gru and Lucy.
