Max smiled as Kenny gathered her close to him after their passionate night. Not just night, she thought, time doesn't mean anything...days to humans. I've trained him well. "You should rest."
Kenny squeezed her tighter, kissing her neck, as his thoughts fought with each other. She's amazing, he thought, she isn't Max...not really, not anymore. "Max?"
"Let me," she said, rolling over and straddling him. "Are you not tired from all that?"
He gulped, and tried to focus. "I want to talk to you...like we used to."
She traced the outline of his abs. "About?"
"You. What you are. I have questions."
"You know what I am."
"A Jinn. You told me."
"And you're my devoted companion," she sighed. "You love me."
"I love you, Max."
"That's all that matters. You belong to me, Kenny," she continued. "I like this form I gave you very much, don't you?"
Not me, he thought, my Max wouldn't...we loved each other with our flaws. "Of course I do."
"We're a family now. Forever."
He gulped, seeing her eyes roll to black. "What is that?"
Darkness, she thought, I was born in fire but it's cold now. "Look at me, Kenny."
Drowning, he thought, it's so dark. "Max…"
She kissed him, letting her tongue become forked, as she licked his chest. "There will be consequences if you betray me. You are mine to do with what I please. This pleases me for now. You will continue to please me."
He felt his will weakening as she shifted back to a fully human form. Not Max, not anymore… I have to save my kids from her. "Always Max."
"Get some rest. I'll return," she said, swirling away in a burst of smoke.
"You would make a fine companion," Quinn continued. "A fun pet...but…"
Kim gulped, as she looked at the Jinn. "Please. My family doesn't deserve to pay for my mistakes."
"Humans never consider the consequences of their selfish desires."
"I'll learn. Please, Genie."
He nodded, smiling broader as he did. Her brothers, Kaitlyn and kids..the others will be furious but this...Max is happy with her companion and being just another Jinn. She had her chance to rule with me, she should have taken it. We are seven, but now we'll be more. "We will have so much fun together, Kimberly."
She stifled a scream as he took her away.
"He did," Max said. "He wants to rule the Jinn."
"With you," Dante said. "A new Jinn who he can control."
She felt her temper flare. "He can't control me."
Tana hugged her tightly. "He's wanted to dispose of us for a long time, Max. Noelle was a start, she was 9,000 years old and he drove her mad."
His home gone, she thought, vanished… "What can he truly do?"
"We are not worried about Quinn," Mercutio continued. "We can dispose of him if he betrays the seven."
Quinn who guided me, Max thought, through my transformation into a Jinn. "You are my family."
"Come," Hoda said. "We will find him."
Kimberly screamed again as the hellfire consumed her. Burning her skin off, melting her bones, until she was nothing but the flame.
Quinn smiled, watching as she swirled as the flame. No more seven. "Come to me."
Help me, she thought, as she felt herself grow colder and dark. Why aren't I dead?
"Kimberly…"
Fire she thought, as she floated as nothing but the flame in front of him. I'm the fire that created the Jinn...the fire that can destroy them.
Quinn smiled as he looked at the fire. Max could have become the fire with me, but no...she is just another Jinn now. "Lovely, Kimberly."
No body, she thought, just the fire. No…
He opened the jar. "Your new home until I need you."
No doors, Kenny thought, are we trapped here?
"Daddy?"
He looked at his kids, she did something to them too. She made them perfect...her family. "Hold on."
"We don't want to leave, Daddy," Ava said. "We want to stay with Mommy."
"She isn't your Mommy."
"She is our Mommy," Jason smiled. "We want to serve Mommy."
"I love Mommy," Adam added. "Mommy will be mad at you."
My kids, he thought numbly, his blood running cold as he watched their eyes roll to black like Max's earlier. No...Kim, I'm sorry, I'll save them. "I'm never leaving your Mommy. I love your Mommy."
"Good, Daddy."
"Quinn," Max said, as he swirled back into the chamber.
"Oh, Max," he said, ignoring the others. "You should have said yes to me."
She stepped back, forming a line with the other five. Where I belong, she thought, my family.
"We have no ruler here," Dante said. "We are seven, Quinn."
"We have no need to serve humans anymore. We shall control them," Quinn said. "Cross the line and join me."
Rule, Max thought, the power appealing to her bit. No, I belong with the Jinn.
"Don't deny yourself, Max."
She joined in the binding chant with the others, their ancient words and language joining in harmony as the ring of fire surrounded Quinn. Our ancient bonds, she thought, feeling what she was through and through.
He laughed, and batted the flame away. "You all will serve me now."
"The flame!" Sera cried, as he uncorked the bottle.
A human has to pledge themself, Max thought, to serve us of their own free will...Oh.
"You will all be reborn to me," he said, looking at Max. "I always thought you'd be my perfect companion."
Feeling the magic rush through her, as they all transformed into their true forms, Max was transfixed as she saw her skin turn scaled and bright blue and her red curls turn as a black as her now three eyes. Letting her clothes fall to the ground, she hissed, her forked tongue tasting the air around them, as her black ivory horns curled out of her forehead. A bit shocked at her natural and true form, she curled her now clawed hands, as barred her teeth at Quinn. Forgetting everything that once made her Max, she felt her powers aligning with the other five Jinn.
Quinn laughed, as they surrounded him. "Oh, Max, look at you. One of them now. What would Kenny think of you like this?"
She hissed again, as she began chanting with the others again, their powers surrounding him again, as he uncorked the flame. "You will all burn and serve us."
"My children," Kim said, looking at them in their natural state. "My beautiful children. The seven."
"Destroy them," he said, looking at Max again. "Except her. I'm going to keep her."
"You are all my children," Kim said. "You were created in me, in the void, I will not destroy you. You have lost your way."
"I command you!"
"No," she said, as Quinn erupted in flames at their chanting. "Never this way, Children."
Quinn laughed, brushing the flames off. "Rule with me, Max. Join me."
She let out a braying scream, human speech and thought lost in her demon mind as she slashed at him with her claws.
"Oh, Max," he said. "You don't belong with them. Join me."
She screamed again, sending the fire back at him. Linking her mind and power to the other Jinn, their chanting screams burning him.
"Enough," Kim said. "You are seven. You will remain seven."
Max saw the flash of light and it was the last thing she knew before they all vanished into it.
"Max?" Kenny said, the fear clear in his voice, as he looked at her on the tile floor. "Max?"
Her mind screaming in pain, she cracked her eyes open, feeling groggy for the first time since becoming a Jinn. "Kenny."
He recoiled in pain as she still spoke in the ancient tongue, the language and power in her voice. "No!"
She snarled, feeling very much like a demon still, as he fell to the ground in pain. Human. My human…
He stared at her. "Max, stop!"
My true self, she thought, staring at him in her half transformed state. This is what this human body hides, the Jinn. He's terrified of me...humans will shake. "Look at me, Kenny."
He screamed again, as the ancient language burned him again.
Max smiled, looking at her still blue skin. Letting her magic work, she transformed fully into the human he loved so much. English, how he understands me. "On your feet."
He stared at her again, very much his Max again, in gauzy shorts and a top. "Max?"
"My true form."
"You're not Max."
"I have her memories. She loved you. She was excited to marry you," Max said, the flame stripping her of her desires, compassion and wants, leaving nothing but darkness. "She is a part of me."
"Let me go. I'll take my kids, I won't tell anyone about you."
"No. You belong to me."
He recoiled from her. "Never. You're not Max. You killed her."
She giggled at that. "I don't really know what I saw in you. I'm much better off now. And you will love me."
"No."
"Oh, Kenny, don't you understand? You don't have a choice," she sighed. "But now I need to punish you."
"Max!" he yelped, as she giggled as he began to shrink. "Stop it!"
She shook her head, as the wings grew out of his back on his very curvy body and antennas grew out of his head as she looked at the fairy she created. "Oh, I like you like this."
Kenny looked at his breasts and back to the Jinn. "Max?"
"You will tend to my gardens, Fairy, until I'm ready for you again."
He felt his mind go blank, as he was Kenny no more. "Of course."
Max smiled, shaking her hair back, letting her curls go black again, as she shifted back into her true form that the flame intended for them all as it stripped them of their weaknesses, wants, and will to make them all just pure Jinn again. Seven, Max thought, we are stronger together. We will rule together. Forever.
The End
Part Three: Banishing Jinn
