Marinette was panicking. She told Tikki all about what happened near school. Alya had left a blue glittery dress on the bed and a light pink purse that also was a mask that matched the purse. She looked at the dress hoping it would make her feel better and take her mind off Lexis. But it only made her worry more. Who was she going to wear this dress with?
Marinette, for the first time, didn't know what to do. She heard a bundle of screams. "Tikki, spots on!" "Miraculous Ladybug!" The city was brought back from the destruction the akumatized villain had caused. "Bugaboo, that was a world record!" Cat Noir exclaimed. " Yeah" she said back sighing. They hopped onto the Eiffel Tower which was near the Parisian Airport. " Are you okay, Milady?" "Yeah" Chat knew better than to ask what was wrong. A plane passed through and their miraculous started beeping. They didn't hear it over the landing plane and they de-transformed. "Chat-" Marinette started. "What- The moment of truth had come. " Marinette?" "Adrien?" They stared at each other for what seemed like eternity. They pulled into a kiss then smiled, transformed and left for home. Marinette walked into school and got surprised by a hug by Adrien. " Slow down, Kitty." Adrien pulled out of the hug and grinned sheepishly. Alya, who was watching from behind almost screamed. Marinette explained everything with a fake story, making sure she didn't take it over the top. They went past Chole who was having a fit. "Ridiculous, utterly ridiculous. I'll get you back, mangy Marinette. She's brainwashed my Adrikins." Alya and Marinette promised that they would never let themselves forget this. Even Tikki coughed up some giggles from inside Marinette's purse. They had about four days until the Fall Masquerade and luckily, Marinette had forgotten about Lexis. One day before the dance there was a group project. Marinette and Adrien got paired up. They met up after school at her house. Tikki and Plaag goofed around with costumes Marinette made for them, while Marinette and Adrien thought of ideas for their project curled up on a beanbag watching Plaag and Tikki put on a show on a mini theater. " Marinette!" Marinette's mother called out. " Yeah, Mom?" she called back. "Your dad's bringing up macaroons!" Sabine said. "Okay!" she said before whispering commands. " Tikki, Plaag hide." Adrien scooted a bit further. "That's great, Adrien. Take the theater, Tikki. Plaag,take the costume box." " Marinette, I have macaroons. Five for each of you." said Marinette's father. " Thank you Mr. Dupain-Cheng!" Adrien said after swiping five. "Welcome!" her Dad said and vanished under the trapdoor. They finished the macaroons and their project, and said goodbye.
