Two months had gone by and Wesley and Kathryn were taking a walk.
Everyone was happy for them and would help them whenever they needed it.
Then out of nowhere Kathryn felt pain in her abdomen and winced.
"You alright?" Wesley asked.
"I think so. My abdomen hurts a little." she said and it hurt again.
That got Wesley to know what's happening after remembering what happened to Amy and Dave six years ago.
Then there was blood and Kathryn started to panic.
"No! It can't be a miscarriage!" she said and started to cry.
"Lieutenant Crusher to Dr. Crusher." Wesley said while he held her close.
"Dr. Crusher here."
"Come to right outside," he started and looked to see who it was. "Ro's quarters. Me and Kat were on a walk and she's having a miscarriage. I remember what happened six years ago with Amy and Dave."
"I'll be right there."
Wesley held her close while she cried.
A few minutes later Beverly was there.
She checked on Kathryn and Wesley rubbed her hand.
"Alright let's see what happened." Beverly said.
A few minutes later she looked at them saying it all.
Kathryn cried hard in Wesley's arms and he held her close.
"I'm sorry you two. But you had a miscarriage." Beverly said.
Wesley shut his eyes and held Kathryn close. She cried even harder.
"Why don't we go head to my quarters and calm down?" he said and Kathryn nodded.
So he helped her up and they headed to his quarters.
When they got there they sat on the couch and Wesley held her close while she cried.
"Sh. We can try again if you want when you're ready." he said and she nodded.
Then he looked at his watch to see what time it is and he has the bridge in five minutes.
"I'm wicked sorry Kat but I have my bridge in five minutes."
She nodded and then he gave her a kiss and headed to the bridge.
