So, officially, the School Chapters became separate story. As it was said previously, these chapters will focus more on life of Witches beyond the battlefield. And because I lost School Chapter 1 and 2, I had to rewrite them. So you can expect some changes.

Anyway, to it.

Chapter 1

,,Birthday"

Comodoro Rivadavia Harbor, ORP Cracow, Mess Hall

The ship's Mess Hall was decorated with various streamers and numerous confetti. On the tables were laying plates and cutlery, each with guest name next to it. There were more preparations to be done, but it was not long before party could start.

Adrian and Diana were now hanging banner over the entrance, which said 'Happy Birthday Hisako and Krystian!'. It was like that, because the two had their birthday today.

"Just a little more!"Diana said, attaching the banner.

"And…done!"Adrian said.

The two went down the ladders and looked at their work. They smiled.

"I have to say, this looks nice"Diana said.

"I know"Adrian said"Let's see, what we have left…"
He reached his pocket and pulled out a list. On it, Adrian could see the things still needed to be done and people responsible for this.

"Okay…Shirley and Tiffany are taking care of cake. Crystal, Anton, Ellen, Eevi and Erica are taking care of balloons. Yoshika, Lynn and Perrine are buying snacks. Natalia and Helena are delaying Krystian and Hisako. And others should be here before the party starts"he read.

"Sweet"Diana said"And what you bought for Krystian?"

Adrian hid the list and approached one of tables, from which he took a book.

"I'm gonna give him a book. He was lately saying about the Polish translation of eighth The Expanse book. And what you have for Hisako?"Adrian said.

Diana pulled a pair of tickets.

"I bought tickets for Margaret's concert in London next month. Think she'll like it?"Diana asked.

"Sure. Margaret is her favorite singer aftter all"Adrian replied, putting the book down.

Not long after, Shirley and Tiffany entered the Mess Hall, with square box in Shirley's hands.

"There is the cake!"Tiffany exclaimed.

"Thanks"Adrian said, taking the cake from Shirley.

"It's nice from you, that you're helping us"Diana said.

Shirley just waved her hand.

"We are here for short time, but I simply liked Hisako"the Witch replied.

"She seems to like you too"Diana noticed."But now, we need to wait for the rest to arrive. There are still some things needed to be done, my friend."

"I know"Shirley said.

Adrian, in the meantime, opened the box. Inside, he saw a vanilla cake, with sentences painted on it's top with frosting, saying 'Happy eighteenth birthday to you!'. Boy nodded and put the cake on the table.

It didn't took long for the others to arrive. Crystal, Anton, Ellen, Eevi and Erica entered the hall with balloons in their hands.

"Balloons, check."Adrian said, marking it on the list."Great to finally have you there."

"No problem, picking these balloons was pretty fun."Eevi said.

"Especially when Erica inhaled with helium."Anton said.

With this, everyone laughed, leaving puzzled Adrian, Diana, Shirley and Tiffany looking at Erica.
"I just wanted to inflate it."Erica said in squeaking voice."But instead, he inhaled me."

Hearing this, Diana barely stopped her laugh. She almost let it go, but Adrian stopped her, covering her mouth. In the meantime, everyone went to attach the balloons to the walls and tables. Not long after, first guests started to appear.

"It seems like party is going to start really soon."Minna said.

"Exactly."Adrian agreed."By the way, where is Barkhorn? I thought she will come with you."

Minna scratched back of her head.

"Sorry. She was stopped on the frontlines, breaking through Chinese defenses around the city."she replied.

"Oh. Janos actually is doing the same too."Adrian said."Now I just wonder, where are Yoshika, Lynette and Perrine. They had to be done around seventeen minutes ago…"

As per his words, three Witches entered the mess hall, carrying some backs of crisps, cookies, cola and other snacks and drinks. They put them on one of tables and approached Adrian.

"Drinks and snacks, check."Adrian said."By the way, what took you so long?"

Three Witches looked at each other.

"Well…"Yoshika started.

Half an hour earlier…

ORP Cracow store

Tasked with buying snacks and drinks for Krystian and Hisako's birthday party, the three Wicthes made their way to school's store. They entered inside and made their way to the drinks alley.
"What are we actually gonna buy for that party?"Perrine asked.
"Well."Lynette started."Cola and crisps seems to be the best for such parties."

"Then we should buy some."Yoshika said.

Her eyes then stopped on some bottles of cola on the top shelf. Yoshika tried to reach for one of the bottles, but it turned out to be too high.

"I can't reach."Yoshika said.

"Let me do it."Perrine said.

She came up to the stand and jumped up grabbing the bottle with one, fast swing. She showed the bottle to her comrades.

"Done."Perrine said.

However, she didn't noticed, that she also knocked another bottle, which fell off the shelf and on the ground. It was shook by this fall so hard, that it literally shot out of the bottle. Straight at Perrine, which was standing in front of it.

Now, Witch was covered in cola, dripping from her uniform. She looked down and sighed.

"How could this even happen?"she asked herself.

Now…

"Now it explains, why you smell like cola."Adrian said.

Perrine gave asking look.

"I though I cleaned it all…"she said and walked away.

Adrian looked at Yoshika and Lynette.

"Anyway, thanks for these snacks. Boss really loves these things."he said.
"No problem."Lynette replied.

Two Witches walked away and joined in helping decorating the mess hall with balloons. Adrian checked his list and nodded.
"We just need the guests to arrive."he said.

"Let's just hope that Linchov won't bring vodka."Diana said.

"We can only pray."

Not long after, first guests started to appear, followed by many more. Almost all guests had something to give to one of two most important people today. But, as Adrian suspected, Linchov brought alcohol.

"Linchov, why?"Anton asked.

"What?"Linchov asked"It's my present for Saltarski."

"More like present for you. You know he doesn't drink?"Adrian pointed out."And shouldn't you be on a rehab?"

Linchov just threw up his arms. It was true, he liked to drink. The only problem is that he started this…when he was 11. This is why he often got himself into problems, some bigger, some smaller. But after Ilya appeared, he decided to get rid of his bad addction and went for rehab. Yet, he still liked to drink, when nobody was looking.

"And what have you bought?"Diana turned to Sanya and Maleroshka.

"We bought a model car for Hisako."Maleroshka replied.

"Hope we hit it?"Sanya asked.

Diana enthusiastically nodded her head, almost loosing her eye patch.

"Of course you did."she said"You know, how she loves cars. Put it there."

She pointed at the table, on which numerous boxes and packs were standing. The two came up to the table and placed their present there.

Meanwhile, Tiffany and Shirley were placing candles in the cake. But they couldn't agree in the question of number. Because of that, they turned to Sakamoto, which was standing next to them, looking at the snacks.

"How many should we put?"Shirley asked."Thirty six to symbolize their common age, or eighteen, just to show how old they both are from ow on?"

Strike Witches 2IC scratched back of her head.

"Why do you ask me?"she asked.

"Because you stood closest."Tiffany replied.

Sakamoto sighed and said:
"Better just eighteen."

"Ha! Told ya!"Shirley said, placing eighteen candles in the cake.

Meanwhile, Anton came up to Linchov and pointed at the bottle of vodka in Russian hands. Linchov knew, what was it all about.

"Alcohol to deposit."Anton said.

"Party breaker."Linchov whispered.

But Anton already left the mess hall with bottle in his hand.

Rest of preparations went pretty quick, while the last guests have arrived. Now, they were all admiring their work.

"Nice."Diana stated.
"We just need Krystian and Hisako here."Adrian said, taking his phone.

He looked for the correct number and when he found it, he called.

"Natalia?"Adrian asked."Everything is ready. Bring the two here."

Natalia replied from the second side and ended the call. Not long after, both she and Helena ran into the mess hall, breathing heavily.

"They're on their way."Helena said.

"Okay. Let's hide, people!"Adrian ordered.

Soon, everyone hid behind the tables, covered by the presents and snacks, while Adrian stuck to the wall and turned the lights off. Whole mess hall was covered in silence, when Krystian and Hisako came in.

"Why there is so dark?"Hisako asked.
"I don't know"Krystian replied"And you're sure, that Helena and Natalia wanted us to come here?"

"Yes"Hisako replied.

Right as she said that, whole mess hall was filled with sound of a power saw. The two looked at each other.

"And did they mentioned a psychopath with a power saw waiting for us?"Krystian asked.

"No they didn't!"Hisako replied, cuddled into him with fear.

But then, the light turned on and the two could see both adjutants and Witches standing between the tables, which were decorated for a party.

"Happy Birthday!"everyone exclaimed.

Hisako and Krystian looked at each other and then back. Over the door, they could see a banner.

"Oh, right. Today is 23rd"Hisako said.
"Yeah. How could I forget?"Krystian asked.

Then, Adrian approached them from behind and put his hands on their arms.

"Happy birthday to you two"he said"You don't know, how long it took us to prepare all of this".

"This is why we're thankful, that you didn't forget"Hisako said.

Soon, everyone started walking up to the two and started giving them their individual wishes. They accepted them with smiles on their faces.
"Now, why won't you look at the presents?"Diana proposed.

But before they could move, sound of power saw again filled the mess hall.

"What the hell is wrong with this saw?!"Krystian exclaimed.

Natalia then reached her phone and pressed the red button to cancel the call. She waved the device.

"Sorry, new bell"she explained.

And scored hit in the head from Helena.

Meanwhile, Krystian and Hisako started opening their presents. Saying that they were happy about them, would be too big understatement.

"Come on, really?!"Saltarski exclaimed with happiness."Where did you even got that book?"

"Secrets"Adrian replied.

Hisako, meanwhile, unpacked the present from Maleroshka and Sanya. When she saw the model, she almost jumped out the mess hall through the roof.

"Aston Martin DB11?!"she said."Thank you! You're just great!"

She then placed kiss on Maleroshka's cheek and hugged Sanya tightly. She didn't noticed Eila sending her unpleasant look.

"No problem"the two replied.

"Now, it's time for your wish"Adrian said"Blow the candles off."

The two looked at each other and nodded. Next, they took a deep breathe and the candles were off.

"Okay, time for some music!"Diana stated, turning the radio on.

Zbuntowany Anioł-Łobuzy

With Diana's announcement, everyone started having a lot of fun, while dancing to the music. Dances were both crazy and calm, but it was certain, that everyone had a lot of fun. Especially Krystian and Hisako.

But soon, party was over and everyone went in their own directions.

And it's ready. As I said, it's rewrite of original School Chapter, so there are changes. Anyway. These one-shots might be more or less serious, with sometimes even entering paranormal areas.
