It was the last day of our special training and nothing had really happened after my exchange with Yamaguchi. I had told Kuroo and Bokuto that there would be no more plans because Tsukishima already found out and I didn't want to annoy him anymore than I have already. They agreed but were a little upset that they couldn't use their other plans. I can only imagine how many they came up with. They still insisted on doting on me in front of Tsukishima and really everyone, but other than that nothing and Tsukishima barely interacted with me besides when we were in practice matches where he had to. I wasn't going to lose hope though, Yamaguchi had made me feel more confident about the whole situation, so I wasn't going to let something like this get me down like it usually would.

We just finished out last match and I was exhausted, but the mention of food brought us all back to life. Tanaka, Nishinoya, and I were all drooling thinking about the meat we were going to eat and started running outside where some of the other teams already were. We quickly gathered around to get some food. As I was piling food onto my plate, I noticed that the amount I had never changed, in fact it looked smaller, I turned around and saw Kuroo directly behind me taking pieces of my food off my plate and placing them onto his and Bokuto's plates.

"Hey! What are you doing?"

"Well I just assumed that since you were piling so much on your plate you wouldn't mind sharing a few."

He was grinning at me holding a piece of meat up above his head so I couldn't reach it. As I was about to jump for it Tsukishima appeared out of nowhere beside Kuroo.

"Are the three of you going to stand here and hog all the food?"

"N-no we di-"

"Now now Tsukki don't be like that"

Kuroo had one arm around Tsukishima's shoulder while still holding his plate of food in the other. Bokuto went on Tsukishima's other side and did the same. They were both smiling widely at him while he looked like he wanted to be anywhere but here. They soon started bickering, but Tsukishima didn't seem upset about their attention, I just stood there staring not knowing what to do until I felt someone start pulling me away. I turned to see Kageyama holding onto my wrist and pulling me away from everyone else into a more secluded area.

"Kageyama, what's wrong with you just pulling me away like that?"

I could still see everyone where we were, but no one would be able to hear us which I guess is what he intended. I looked back to where I was originally and saw Kuroo and Bokuto still standing with Tsukishima in between them but they seemed to be bickering now and Tsukishima was staring right at me. I felt my heartbeat pick up when we made eye contact and quickly looked away, maybe he was just trying to see where I went so I looked again and yep he was still staring except this time he smirked when we made eye contact again. I felt my face get hot but didn't look away this time until I felt something hit the back of my head.

"Hinata are you even listening to me?"

I rubbed my head where Kageyama had smacked me.

"Huh?"

"Stop staring at Tsukishima and pay attention for a minute."

"I wasn-"

"Yeah, ok. Anyways I was saying that Oikawa wants to go on a date when we get back."

"Um, alright?"

"I'm freaking out Hinata!"

I really wanted to gloat and cherish this moment because he really is only a confident genius when it comes to volleyball, but he looked like he was really panicking.

"Haven't you already gone on dates?"

"No, those don't count as dates. We have gone to each other's houses and played volleyball but usually Iwaizumi was with us. This is different, he actually wants to go out, just the two of us, to a restaurant and movie or something like that and I don't know what to do."

I put my hand on his shoulder and looked him in the eyes.

"Honestly, you're both messes and I'm sure Oikawa doesn't expect much from you."

I felt him jab my side as I grunted in pain,

"Also, from what you told me about him crying during your confession means that you probably have nothing to worry about, he's most likely just as stressed about this as you are. Don't overthink it and just be your stupid self around him, remember he agreed to date you so he obviously has feelings for you."

Kageyama's face was like a statue as he processed everything I said.

"Yeah, you're right….thank you"

I gave him my biggest smile as he muttered the last part and looked down at the ground.

"Now let's go back to where the others are."

It was fun hanging out with everyone from the other teams I almost didn't want to leave but we had to. I was saying my last goodbyes as I got on the bus. I looked around for Kageyama but saw that Yamaguchi was already sitting with him, weird. I started looking for any open seat, but they were all full except for the seat next to Tsukishima. He had his headphones on and was staring at the window, I looked pleadingly towards Kageyama and saw that everyone was staring at me with thumbs up. Of course, now everyone knows, and those meddling bastards decided that this was a good idea. I sighed thinking about whether I could just fit in someone's luggage or maybe they could tie me to the top of the bus.

"Hinata just sit down."

My eyes widened not expecting Tsukishima to be the one to tell me to sit, he was still looking out the window but had removed his headphones to where he could hear. I quickly sat down next to him but refused to look at him. I stared ahead until the bus was finally leaving and decided to chance it and just quickly glance at him, but once again Tsukishima was surprisingly already staring at me. He leaned closer to me and I felt like my heart was going to burst out of my chest with how hard it was beating. He leaned close enough to be next to my ear and whispered to me,

"You know you turn super red when you're embarrassed? It's honestly endearing, you really can't hide how you feel."

I shivered when his breathe hit my neck and ear, he must have felt it because he chuckled under his breathe and slowly pulled away from me and put his headphones back on but not before smirking at me. When he was looking out the window again, I let out a long sigh and tried to force my blush away. This was going to be such a long ride home.
