"W-What's going on?" Tails said as he woke up in a strange place with a humongous headache. Everywhere he saw there were plants bigger than he was. He saw gigantic boulders he swore had eyes. He saw a bunch of sunflowers that had faces on them and were singing. Where the heck was, he? He slowly got off of the ground where he was laying and began to wander aimlessly. "S-Sonic? Amy? Knuckles? Anybody?" He said throughout his wandering thru the strange forest.
A strange pink creature suddenly jumped out in front of him with a big smile on her face as Tails was wandering. The creature had long pink hair, was wearing a blue, white and green dress and had a floral headband to match the dress. "Hiiiiiii! I'm Poppy! Are you lost, little buddy? You look lost. What are you? Oh! You're a fox! And you have two tails! Oh, you're so cute! You've got to meet my friends! Oh, I should help you find your way first. Then you can meet my friends. Oooh. Better idea. I can take you to my friends and they can help you find your way with me. Go Poppy. You rule." The pink creature said rather quickly.
Tails just stood there. Was really confused and didn't know what was going on with the creature. "Uhhhhhhhh…" was all he could say. The creature notices the look on his face and face palmed. "Dang it! I'm overdoing it again. Come on, Poppy. Branch talked you about this" Tails couldn't say a word. He was really confused. A strange watch like device went off on the creature's wrist and she smiled. "Hug time! What a great way to meet new friends!" She walked up to Tails and gave him a big hug.
She was hugging him so hard that he was having trouble breathing. "C-Could you let go, miss?" Tails said. The creature quickly let go of him and face palms yet again. "Come on, Poppy. Really? "She said before taking a deep breath. "Sorry, let's start over. Hi, I'm Queen Poppy, the Queen of the pop trolls." She said with a smile. So that's what she was. A troll. The trolls Tails knew of from where he was from looked nothing like her. They were big hulking beasts. Not these adorable, clearly really peppy, colorful creatures.
"You're a troll? Wow." Tails said in astonishment. Poppy had a real perplexed look on her face. "Um, yeah? You look like you've never seen a troll before." Poppy said. "Well, I have but they're very different from where I'm from." Tails said. Poppy got excited. "Oooh! Are they nicer than us? Do they have better singing voices than us? What are they like?" Poppy excitedly asked. "Um, let's just say they are the exact opposite of you guys." Tails said
Poppy got even more excited. "Oooh. I just have to become friends with them and maybe they'd be happier." Tails face palmed and said "Are you always so painfully positive?" Poppy just nodded. "Yes. Yes I am." Poppy was smiling even brighter. She takes Tails by the hand and starts running. "Ah, where are you taking me?" Tails screamed. She ignored Tails and began singing. "I get by with a little help from my friends." Tails yanked his hand loose and stopped where they were. Poppy face palms again. "Dang it. Dang it. Dang it. Sorry." She says
"So, are you going to tell me where were going or are your just going to keep ignoring me? "Tails asked. "Sorry about that. Were going to my village where I'm going to introduce you to my friends. To see if they can help you." Poppy said. Tails nodded. "Thanks for telling me. We should probably get a move on then." Tails said. They got a move on and soon arrived at Troll Village. "Welcome to Troll Village." Poppy cheerfully said.
Tails had a good look around of the place. It was beautiful. They made a really beautiful village in the forest. It was truly breathtaking. Poppy gave a cocky little giggle. "Speechless, eh? We get that a lot." She said. Before Tails could respond, a gray troll with a red mow hawk came running up to them. "Oh, hi Barb. This little guy needs our…." Poppy began but never got to finish her sentence. Barb went directly up to Tails and grabbed him by the scruff of the neck. "Ow. What the heck are you doing?" Tails asked. Barb glared and asked "The better the question is what are you doing here? You're not a troll so you don't belong here."
"Barb! Stop it! We've talked about this!" Poppy yelled. "Dang it. Sorry man. I'm still kind of new to the niceness and friendship thing." Barb said before dropping Tails. Tails landed on his butt. Barb turns to Poppy and asked "For real though, what is he doing here?" "This here is… uh, what's your name? Never caught your name." Poppy asks Tails. "You were talking so much I never even got the chance to tell you." Tails said
Barb burst out laughing. "Oh, I totally feel you, bro. You try living with her." She said. "STOP TALKING!" Poppy yelled like Rigby from Regular Show. This only made Barb laugh harder. "Relax, Pinkie. I'm just joking." Tails just stood there. He didn't really know what to do. "Um, so can I actually introduce myself now or are you just going to keep arguing?" Tails asked. "Oh, right, right. Sorry. Your name is?" Poppy asked. "I'm Miles Prower but call me Tails." Tails said. Poppy got a confused look on her face. "Um, why do you want to call you Tails?" She asked.
Tails stood up from the spot he landed on the ground and then turned around to reveal his two tails. "Oh, that would explain it." Poppy said before turning to Barb and then saying "This is Tails. He is lost and we're going to help him find his way home." Barb nodded and was getting excited "Oh yeah. Another adventure! Yeah baby!" Poppy smiled brightly. "Hey, it doesn't have to be that complicated. You just gotta help me find my way home and the I'll be on my way."
"I have quite a few adventures where I'm from. I wouldn't be opposed to turning it into an adventure." Tails said with a smile. Poppy got really excited. "I guess we're having an adventure after all." She said practically bouncing with excitement. Tails just shook his head. "What have I gotten myself into?" He thought to himself
