Chapter 7 Werewolves

(Amu's pov)

The alpha wolf lunged at me and I ducked out of the way. "I don't know why they are attacking us Ikuto, but don't kill them please" I said as I avoided another wolf.

"What?" he yelled as he stopped himself from stabbing a wolf. "Why?"

"I think we invaded their turf; this is their land" I responded with my fangs out and black streaks in my hair. "If we can just get to where we can get away from their area, we should be okay" I said hoping that I was right.

"Okay Amu, your choice, we will do this your way" he told me as he dodged another wolf rolling out of the way and standing next to me. "Then why do we have daggers?"

"If they won't let us leave, then we are only to injure, but we do not kill them" I said as I felt a wolf crash into me causing me to fall and I couldn't get up because it was on top of me. I tried to stab him, but I only caught air. I opened my mouth bit his leg. He howled and three wolves jumped on me. Ikuto couldn't get to me since he was pushed away when I first hit the ground. Instead of killing me, the wolves held me down and I couldn't get up.

I looked to my left and saw Ikuto stab one wolf in the leg and black lines started spreading. Then he got knocked down by two more wolves. I fought the wolves on me but I still couldn't get free and then watched Ikuto fling one over his back. While I was still trapped, I saw the wolf closest to Ikuto's neck try to bite him and I screamed.

"NOOO! DO NOT TOUCH HIM!" I screamed to the wolf then my body started to glow. A droplet of blood that had been formed into my dagger combined into the light shooting from my body shot out knocked the wolves off me and the light hit the wolf attacking Ikuto in the chest. The light expanded to Ikuto and healed his wounds. He looked at me with questioning eyes.

"Amu? What? How are you doing this?" he asked me.

"I don't know Iku, but I refuse to let them hurt you" I said quietly while panting. I heard sounds from all around us and I saw the alpha wolf try to me to attack me, and then blood-red light surrounded the wolves and immobilized them. The wolves started to whimper from the light hurting them.

Ikuto and I were trying to walk away when we heard a voice come from behind us that sounded like it was in a lot of pain, "Please Hime-sama, release us."

We turned back around, and I saw the Alpha wolf talking to me. "Iku? Do you hear a wolf talking?" I asked him.

"Yep" he said.

"If I try to figure it out, will you promise not to hurt us?" I asked the wolf.

"I promise, in fact Hime-sama, we have a lot to talk about" he said.

"Okay, I'll try" I said concentrating on the removing the red-hue and imagining it going away. The blood drop went back into my dagger and the all the wolves breathed in relief.

"Thank you Hime" the Alpha wolf said, then they all changed into humans.

"My name is Kukai, my Luna is Utau" the alpha said as he pointed to a blond-haired girl. "We attacked you because our home is not far from here. You are within the immediate location of our pups. The next thing we need to discuss will be in our den."

"Please allow us to show you to our home and we will explain" he said, and the pack started walking away.

As we walked, I noticed that Utau was the one who led them and Kukai followed behind helping the wounded.

"Kukai?" I said.

"Yes Hime?"

"Would you please stop the pack and allow us to heal everyone?" I asked. "I know that we caused the injuries and I am sorry, but we really just wanted to get out of the forest when we got too close to your family. For that, we are truly sorry" I said bowing.

"Utau, please stop the pack" Kukai said with a loud voice. "Please heal the badly wounded, but leave the ones that aren't as bad that the rest of the pack can see what you can do okay?"

"Ikuto, thank you for protecting me out there" I said as hugged him. "Will you please help me heal the wounded "I asked, and he nodded then pricked his finger with his fang and began healing while I did the same.

"Thank you Hime" Utau said, as she walked up to Kukai hugging him. "I know that Kukai is stubborn, but he was hurt worse than all of us, please heal him."

I looked at his leg and saw the black streaks getting bigger, "I'm sorry Kukai, but I need to heal you now. I know that you value your pack over your life, but if I don't heal your cut then your blood will become poisoned" I said pointing at his leg.

"I'm sorry Amu, I would have done it, but it was cut with your dagger. I can't heal the poisoned blood, only you can do that" Ikuto said quietly.

"I know Ikuto" I said just as quietly, I softly kissed Ikuto then leaned down to Kukai's leg. "It's going to take a bit more to heal you Kukai. Please pull you pant leg up the rest of the way to your knee" I asked.

"Utau, you know the area, we will need leaves that will stay on his leg and quickly" I told her as she ran off taking two wolves with her. I watched as they shape changed back into wolves.

"Please the rest of you, do not touch the blood until I say it is safe, okay?" they all nodded and sat on the ground.

I took my dagger and cut my palm and let the blood pool then I took my hand rubbed it all over his leg. By the time Utau returned, Kukai's leg was fully covered in my blood.

"WHAT HAPPENED?!" she screeched.

"It's okay Utau" I said with my hands up. "It's my blood. It'll heal him."

"But it was your blood that did that to him!" she said loudly dropping all the leaves at my feet and started to swing her fist at me. I picked them up and started wrapping his leg.

"Utau, please understand" Ikuto said as he held her arm from hitting me. Then he continued so that he could explain how my blood worked while I continued working on Kukai. "Unlike me, she can manipulate her blood. My fresh blood wounds will just cause harm and kill humans or severely burn supernatural beings. Yes, I can heal but only small cuts or things like that. I, myself, cannot burn out the infection and heal at the same time. She can. We will explain everything once we get to your den but please let her finish what she needs to do, or you will lose your mate" he said softly.

"I'll trust you Amu, but if you hurt him worse, I will kill you myself" she said with her eyes blazing jerking her arm away from Ikuto as she sat on the ground.

"I'll accept that too, I refuse to hurt anyone else" I responded and turned back to Kukai.

After another 10 minutes his leg was fully covered, and he was standing again. "How does it feel?" I asked.

"It feels good, thank you Amu" Kukai said, then he walked to Utau then knelt down and hugged her.

"I'm okay Utau" he said. "They are the real deal. The dreams are real. Let's get them back to the den so that we can all talk about everything."

While standing up, Utau told everyone to move out and shortly after, we saw their den.

Ikuto and I saw a bunch of kids run out of the den, then run back in when they saw us.

"Come on kids" called Kukai. "They won't hurt us" he said walking up the opening. "I need everyone who had any strange dreams about a red-eyed king to come closer. I also need everyone to come out and watch Hime-Amu-sama and Ikuto-sama heal the remaining wounds. Then I will ask everyone to please tell what they know and what they see."

"Hi everyone, I'm Amu and this is Ikuto" I said pointing. "I was asked to show you this. I am not showing off and neither is Ikuto, but we were asked to show you how we can heal."

Ikuto and I pricked our fingers and started to heal the minor wounds left. When we were done, I sat on the ground next to Ikuto and waited for Kukai to start explaining what was going on.

"Wow!" a little girl around 8 years old said walked up to us. "Your hair looks just like a girl I dreamed of a few days ago. She was a princess that needed our help killing a red-eyed man and his army. He had sharp teeth kind of like ours but –" she put her hands on my mouth and pulled my lips up to fully see my fangs then let go, "his teeth looked more like yours. She had a friend that used his mind to move things and he had blue hair. The fight she was in, scared me but in the end, she won because she trusted her friends", she finished saying then she sat back down.

Another girl walked up to me and asked if the other little boy was going to join them because he could turn into a wolf and he seems to be a nice kid. "What do you mean sweetie?" I asked.

She described my brother Sora and said that she saw him change into a wolf and two people roughly kick him out of his house while his sister cried and begged to let him stay, telling them they already kicked out her sister a month ago. They pushed her away from the boy and the girl was so upset that sparks flew out her hands and started a bench on fire. After that, they were both pushed into our forest and told never to return.

"Are you telling me that my siblings still aren't human? I knew they weren't vampires but the sounds like werewolves and witches" I said. "Do you know when this will happen? How old do they look?" I asked her.

"Well, I don't know if they are your siblings, but they look my age" the little girl replied.

"And you are?" Ikuto asked.

"I'm 10!" she said happily.

"Great! I guess we will have to hang out here for a few weeks until they are kicked from their home too. Their birthday is in a month. Will that be okay Kukai? Utau?" I asked.

They both nodded and explained that we needed to train with them anyways, so weekly a member of the pack would go and see how the young prince and princess were doing and watch for when they were pushed out of their home all because they weren't full human.

Author's notes:

Nikki: Thank you for your review. They will soon all be reunited. It is always better to be with people who accept you for who you are. Their parents do love them they are just scared of the unknown, some people instead of accepting and learning and going along with something new, they choose to buck against. This is return makes it where they are unable to accept anything different. Just wait until you see my plans for the rest of the family! Lol. Thank you for your review. :)

sweetXDmelody: Ikuto understood that she would be grieving the loss of her entire life, he wanted her to know that no matter what happened to her, that he would always be there for her. Ami and Sora will soon see the benefits of being different. They will also learn that it's not a bad thing. It is all in the way you personally view it. My Mom used to say that the truth was in the eye of the beholder. Meaning, it how you view it that will make your own differences good or bad. Thank you for your review :D
