The guild hall was busy as usual when six o'clock came around. Master was sitting on the bar and was waiting for the last two couples and Cobra to make their way into the guild. The doors opened and Cobra walked in with a duffel bag and the guild hall quieted down watching him as he strolled down the isle and straight to Master who nodded towards Kinana who was sitting at a booth in the corner with Mira and Laxus. Cobra looked towards her and a smile came to his face as he walked over the booth and dropped his bag to hug Kinana, who had gotten up and ran towards Cobra jumping at him. The guild hall went back to normal giving the couple some privacy. Erza, Gray, Juvia, Cana, Gildarts, Elfman, Freed, Bickslow, and Lisanna all stood next to the bar talking to Master as Lucy, Natsu, Panterlily, and Happy walked in. The first couple and Happy walked over to join the others as Lucy sat in Natsu's lap blushing. Moments later the second couple walked in with matching blushes and mused hair. Half the guild hall broke out into laughter as the other half was left in hushed whispers. Levy and Gajeel hurried to the other couples who were smirking as they sat down. Master walked over and cleared his throat quieting the whole guild hall.
"Okay. So I have escorts for each pair to the cabins. Like I said before they are secluded from each other and civilization and only these escorts and I know where the cabins are. They are fully stocked but if you need anything use these to get in contact with us. The cards will light up blue." Master said handing out a calling card from Cana's deck to each couple. The mates took them and pocketed them. "If by any chance something was to happen and you need reinforcements use the card and it will glow red for danger. Now dragon slayers, your powers are going to two folds what they normally are. You need to be extra careful when handling your mates. I'm sorry to say this but Happy, Carla, and Panterlily, you all can not go with them. There is too much of a risk that you will get hurt. Please say goodbye to your friends now before I break them up to go to the cabins." Master says as he walked back over to the bar.
Happy walked across the table looking down as he got to Lucy and Natsu. He looked up with tears in his eyes. Lucy reached out and picked up Happy wrapping him up in a hug as tears sprung to her own eyes. Natsu wrapped his arms around the two and hugged them both as his mate and best friend cried together. When Natsu sat back and Lucy rested Happy in her lap she wiped away tears. "We won't be gone too long little buddy. This is just to make sure I don't accidentally hurt you." Natsu said and Happy nodded looking at his paws. He looked up at the two and sighed and hugged them again individually this time.
"I'm going to miss you guys. I knew you loveeeeeee her." Happy said as he flew back to the table after hugging Natsu. They all three let out a laugh and shook their heads at the cat's antics.
Carla walked over to Wendy and Romeo trying to keep a strong face on as she hugged her dragon slayer goodbye. She went to wipe away Wendy's tears to see Romeo beat her to the punch. He rested his arm around her shoulders comfortingly and Carla smiled at the gesture. "Now listen here child, you need to be safe and behave. Romeo, I expect you to keep an eye on Wendy now and don't let her go over board with her magic hear me?" Carla commanded like normal. Wendy giggled and nodded as Romeo nodded frantically scared of the white cat. Carla smiled at the couple and hugged them both, which surprised Romeo as he hugged her back.
Panterlily walked to the edge of the table with his arms crossed looking at the couple in front of him. "Gajeel, you better be nice and protect Levy now. And don't do anything stupid because I won't be there to help you or cover up." Panterlily said as Gajeel huffed at him. Levy reached out and grabbed Panterlily in her arms and hugged him tightly to her sniffling back a sob. Panterlily wrapped his small arms around her and nuzzled her neck smiling at his best friend's mate, who was unknowingly becoming his best friend as well. Levy set Panterlily back on the table as Gajeel patted the cat's head before hugging him as well.
"Take care Lily. Watch over things while I'm away." Gajeel said as Master walked back over to the group.
"Panterlily, Carla, and Happy, you all will be staying with Alzack and Bisca while they are away." Master said and The Exceeds nodded flying over to them as their child started playing with Happy. "Okay, the first couple will be Kinana and Cobra, you will be escorted by Erza and Jellal." Master said as the couple got up and Erza appeared beside the master with Jellal.
"Follow us." Erza said as she headed to the doors of the guild with Jellal and the couple following her.
"The next couple is Natsu and Lucy. Your escorts will be Cana and Gildarts." Master said as the father and daughter come up to the couple smiling. The couple smile and get up grabbing their bags and following the escorts out of the guild towards their cabin.
"The next one is Gajeel and Levy. You will be escorted by Freed and Evergreen." Master announced as the two members of the Thunder Legion came towards them. Gajeel grabbed both his and Levy's bag following the escorts towards their own cabin.
"Laxus and Mira you're next. Your escorts are Lisanna and Bickslow." Master called as the escorts came up as Mira squealed. Lisanna blushed and shushed her sister as Laxus chuckled and grabbed both their bags and nodded and Bickslow. Lisanna and Bickslow led Laxus and a squealing Mira from the guild hall and into the night towards their cabin.
"Finally, Wendy and Romeo your escorts are Macao and Wakaba." Master said as Romeo's father and his father's best friend came up to the young couple smiling at them.
"Let's go kiddos." Wakaba said as they led to the young couple out of the guild and towards their own cabin. Master watched as each couple departed silently hoping he was making the right decision to send them away.
~Kinana and Cobra~
Kinana and Cobra followed silently behind Jellal and Erza who seemed to have a permanent blush across her cheeks. Cobra looked at the ground and chuckled, shaking his head. Kinana looked over at her and tilted her head to the side.
"What are you laughing about Erik- I mean Cobra?" Kinana asked. Cobra looked up and smiled at his mate and took her hand in his.
"Erza's thoughts. She won't shut up about Jellal. The same goes for him as well. He is only thinking about her and how pretty she is. It's quite comical that neither will voice their feelings." Cobra said pulling Kinana closer to him as if he was protecting her.
"Oh. I can see how that would be funny." Kinana said blushing at their closeness. Kinana looked ahead and seen a cabin came into view. Her eyes widened at the large cabin that would be all for themselves. Erza and Jellal stopped just outside the front door and handed Cobra the key.
"Enjoy you two. Be careful and don't hesitate to call us." Erza said with the same kind of authority she always carried. Kinana and Cobra nodded as they unlocked the door and entered. Cobra shut the door after they waved goodbye to the two escorts. Cobra opened the door again and popped his head out before they were too far away.
"You two love birds enjoy yourself as well!" Cobra yelled as the two turned back around with blushes that could rival Erza's hair. Cobra laughed as he closed to door turning to his mate smiling at her beauty.
"Let's check the cabin out and then I will make you some dinner." Kinana said taking Cobra's hand as they traveled around the cabin.
It was rather large for just the two of them. They first went to check out the living room that had a fireplace and a large TV above it and two large book cases full of various genres of movies. They exited the living room and went across the hall to the kitchen which was just as large as the living room. There was a decent size island in the center and all stainless steel appliances. Kinana looked in all the cupboards and drawers that were stocked to the brim with food and drinks. They moved onto the next room which seemed to be a half bath. They moved upstairs where there were four other rooms. Two were small guest rooms and one was the floor's bathroom. The largest room on the top floor was at the end of the hallway to the left. They entered he room to find a large king size bed in the middle of the back wall. The bed was decked out with dark purple and black covers and decorative pillows. There was a large walk-in closet to their right and a large master bath attached. The two looked around in awe at the surrounding room as they dropped their bags on the bed and sat down next to one another taking everything in. There was a small fireplace across from the bed and a large TV above it as well, similar to the set up downstairs in the living room.
"What would you like to eat, Cobra?" Kinana asked as she stood up turning to her dragon slayer.
"Anything you want to prepare. Don't worry about calling me Cobra. Call me Erik. I like when you do that." Cobra said as he wrapped his arm around his mate as they headed down the stairs to the kitchen.
