Summary/disclaimer: Time for another chapter of Supernatural Romance. Enjoy the 900-word chapter. I don't own Yunna, Shonen Jump and a few others do.
The difference between Ogres and Trolls was that Ogres processed a lot more natural muscle and usually were more committed to combat then Ogres.
This was not something Tadaaki cared to admit as Nonko sent an orc flying with a single kick. The pig like monster crashing through a tree and laying still made Tadaaki blink and pause.
This was more then enough time for one of the orcs to try and shoot him as Tadaaki was forced to dodge behind a tree. he then slashed one of the orcs who tried to get a better shot before using him to block a shotgun round.
He tossed the dead pig man to the ground. he was covered in trace amounts of crimson, all due to one orc who thought he was a lot tougher than he looked.
Tadaaki also watched to see Nonko had already stabbed another orc and backhanded another. He really didn't know whether to praise the girl for having combat skills… or beg for her not to unleash her power onto him.
Then again, considering she got more powerful the drunker she got? He really didn't want to see her mad at anyone besides the enemies they usually faced.
He was still caught off guard by one of the orcs, he began to wonder if there was just far more of them then he could reasonably kill.
"Do you idiots just wish to die or…" Tadaaki was forced to block an orc with an axe.
This served in making him entirely amused at the idea that warriors who had said they distained such tools were using them anyway. he was less amused as the warrior struggled and grunted, eager to murder the troll and go after the ogre.
"Why can't you just die!?" He heard from the Orc before brushing the weapon aside and hammering him in the face with the hilt of his blade.
The orc fell to the ground, crimson seeping from his nose as the hulking troll sighed.
This mission was a lot harder than he assumed it would be and it was annoying, they didn't stay down when he hit them and continued to get up to try and antagonize him.
He respected warriors who would continue to fight despite the odds… but this was growing so tiresome that it warranted nothing but closing. The orcs weren't interested in him more then killing him and possibly bringing his body back to loot and eat or something.
It was Nonko they wanted, a very pretty girl to play with… something that made his blood boil endlessly the more he thought about it.
"Pests, I hate you. I hate you all so much…" he hissed, he wanted to grind them to pieces under his fists and grinded into paste.
He restrained himself, this anger was blinding him to the fight, as was his intense desire to focus on the orcs one at a time.
2 more fired SMGs at him, he rolled and took cover. They didn't want to try their luck and possibly kill Nonko.
Speaking of that, she was fighting off 3 of the warriors easily, he watched her flip one to the ground and gleefully send another orc twice her size to the ground with a flick of her finger. It only served to highlight just how much out of their depth they were.
"Damn, you just don't get the memo, do you?" He heard from the leader of the orcs, something that amused him to no end as well.
Seriously, they had ambushed the group, and the orcs were complaining when it came down to things? He didn't know either to cry in joy or just shake his head and continue to send the orcs to the afterlife.
"I'm actually starting to wonder if your stupid or just plain bad at things like this." Tadaaki joked, knowing the orcs were rather dull.
It didn't befit the entire people, but they weren't very clever when it came down to things, and their tactics seemed to just be to charge the duo.
He didn't envy their determination as it only set them up to be killed easier and easier.
A stray bullet still got him in the side, making him grunt in pain as he felt his thick skin grazed. Tadaaki was very glad trolls were born with very tough skin or the bullet could have broken something or worse.
"Now your deaths are going to hurt." Tadaaki growled out, he advances on the rest of the orcs.
They would all be destroyed, he'd only spare the ones who didn't try fighting him, for his rage did have bounds and lines not even he would dare crossing. He didn't want to cross them at all.
They watched as he lunged forward, eager to destroy them… to lay waste to them all… before they did more damage.
