Eret's POV

I am Eret Son of Eret (you have no clue how awkward it is saying that). Former dragon trapper and worker for Drago Bludvist and now a full fledged dragon rider.Life on Berk has been ok. People still don't trust me fully (Valka) but thanks to chief Hiccup and his friends, I'm gradually becoming more and more accepted.You might think this is a happy ever after for me and Skullcrusher, but there is one other thing... There's this beautiful viking girl. She is like a valkyrie. She is both hot and badass. Back with the hunters we would just force the girls to be with us whether they liked it or not, but I feel that that is not the custom on Berk. So I want to ask her out. Since Hiccup is good friends with her, I decided to build up the courage to ask for some 'love advice.'Hiccup's POV

"Can you help me chief?"

"Of course Eret, how can I be of assistance?"

"Oh... well...ehm... you see... ehm... ok... there's a girl on the island whom I have an eye for."

"Its not Ruffnut is it," I joked.

"Ha no.. its ehm... someone special."

I started thinking whom he could be talking about. "What she like?" Toothless also seemed intrigued.

"Well... she's like a valkyrie, a true beauty but at the same time a strong warrior who can defeat anyone with just her axe. I want her so bad. I was wondering if you could design a weapon for me to give to her as a gift?"

"Of course Eret! I'll see you in the forge first thing."

"Thank you chief. See you in the morning." And he left.

"Can you believe it Toothless. I didn't know Eret had a thing... for Heather!"

Toothless gave me a weird look but I just ignored it. "Let's go home bud."

Toothless' POV

Seriously Hiccup. My rider is obviously not as smart as he was back on the edge anymore.You and I both know whom Eret was talking about... Astrid.

Hiccup's POV

"Look I'm going to be busy in the forge today. Are you sure you can handle chiefing on Berk."

"Brother. I am the chief of the Berserker Tribe, king of the Defender of the Wing and an overall, lovable viking. It will be fine." Why did I choose Dagur of all people?

Dagur quickly left to start his 'chiefing' and I saw Heather approach. I couldn't help but grin. "Hi Heather, just to be clear, please keep an eye on your brother, ok. I don't want the village turning... well beserk. "

"Relax Hiccup it will be fine. So what you doing in the forge?"

"Oh it's a secret hehe."

Just then Astrid came by on Stormfly. "You ready to be beaten Heather?"

"In your dreams, let me just go wake up Windshear."

Heather walked away. "Good morning milady," I greeted and gave her a kiss. "How was your sleepover?"

"Oh Odin, where do I begin. Ruff kept asking Mala about her sex life. Then she asked about OURS. What was worse was that your mum was there."

"Oh Thor. So eh what did you say," I said seductively.

"I said its non-existent since we would 'never break tradition' and do something like that now would we." She gave me a cheeky grin while I blushed red. Boy were they wrong.

"Anyway, got to go. I'm taking the kids class today in the arena. I'll see you later."

"Stay safe Astrid." I gave her one more kiss and let her go. I turned to Toothless, "How did I get a girl like her, eh bud."

If it wasn't for the flight I gave, you would still be alone

"I know, I know. Thanks bud."

Eret's POV

I came to the forge with a design I drew for the weapon. It's an axe (duh) but was able to open up double-sided (like Heather's in rtte). "Morning chief."

"Please call me Hiccup. Chief makes me sound like my father." He joked.

"Anywho, this is the design I would like for the axe. Can you make it?"

"I'll try. Come back in the evening and it will ready for tomorrow."

"Thanks Hiccup. I hope she likes it." I left the forge and walked to the arena. I saw her training the kids. Wow, she's even good with kids. She would make a great wife and mother. And damn she looks good.

Toothless' POV

Hiccup was busy making the axe and I got bored. So I decided to wander about the village. I saw Eret staring at my rider's mate. You better not break my friend's heart.

I saw Skullcrusher approach me. 'Does he know that she is already someone's mate?"

"No. But this will be entertaining."

"So since your riders are mating does that mean you and Stormfly are-"

"Hey!" I growled. "We're just friends. Why do all the dragons ask me that?"

I flew (sort of) back to Hiccup. I repeat me and her are JUST FRIENDS!
