Contestants

Montserrat Margo(The Samba Dancer)

Montserrat is a 31-year-old samba dancer from Rio De Janerio, regulary she performs at the Club Agridulce. Samba is not the only dance she does, in the early 90s, she was quite the hip hop dancers. On the night of her boss's birthday, he showed her a flier for LADUWS and encouraged her to join. With her strategic skills, she'll do what it takes to be the best dancer.

Fransisco Lobo(The Circus Star)

Fransisco is a 23-year-old wolf tamer in Sao Paolo. Before that, he was a poor lad who worked as a personal trainer. One day, he saw a modern dance class watching Flashdance to get ideas for dancing. Amongst the dancers were the lifeguard whom he loved for a long time, 'Janiyah' a newcomer to the gym from Arizona. Wanting to win her heart, he decided to dance for her. For a year now, he's been working at the Professor Case's Fortuna Circus and wanting to save enough money for the first ever LADUWS. During the anniversary of dating Janiyah, he decided to go onto LADUWS for the Save The Wolves campaign.

Jazmín Belo(The Carmen Miranda Cosplayer)

Jazmin is a 26-year-old performer in The Sapphire Casino in Sao Paolo. She's quite illiterate and is a very charming woman. Before she was a Carmen Miranda cosplayed, she was a movie star. Her most famous film as Chica Chica Bambu, which was a biopic on Carmen Miranda. After the premiere of the film, the managaer of The Sapphire offered her a job at the casino. WAnting to keep Carmen's name alive, she took the job. One day, a famous RnB star was performing at The Sapphire when she told them about the first ever LADUWS: Brazil. Inspired by her words, Jazmin decided to join in.

Juan David Alves(The Manners Man)

Juan David is a finishing instructor in Recife. All his life, he's been properly handling manners from crochet, to ballroom dancing. His idol in his life José Carioca from Disney. The very minute he came to Disney World for the first time in the 1980s, he was blown away by his appearance near the Jungle Cruise ride. Inspired by his mannerism, he decided to be a finishing school instructor to children. After decades of manners, the 34-year-old thought he would show the true meaning of dancing by entering LADUWS.

Alessandra Cardoso(The Road Rager)

26-year-old Alessandra Cardoso is a tattoo artist in Brasilia. Not only that, she is also a stunt biker. Recently, she lost her cycling reputation after an incident and the Brazil Cyclying Championships, where she drove on an overheated motorcycle, costing her career and her legs. Now going around in prosthetic legs, she has no choice than to work at her cousin's tattoo parlor. She does fear about bad luck sometimes, but after her cousin's fiance showed told her of a LADUWS opening, she decided to try dancing for a change.

Diego Alejandro Durate(The Workaholic)

At 38-years-olds, Diego hardly takes a day off as a data analysist in Curitiba. He learned about the importance of hard work during high school as a barista at a coffee shop. At his first job, he got promoted faster that any other promoter. During the anniversary of his company's foundation, he saw a commercial for Let's All Dance Until We're Sick with his coworkers. He refused at first, but his boss persisted after telling him that he hasn't taken a day off within two years, even on Christmas. Not wanting to get a new job, he decided to do it.

Paulina and Manuel Felix(The Star-gazers)

Paulina and Manuel Felix are a married couple in Manaus. They work as tour guides at the Estrelacair Observatory. Over the years the two of them guided many people. When they first met, they didn't know about romance. After reading a crime-fiction book about dancing, they began to bond. During a Christmas party within the year they first met, they did a little dancing and fell in love. After ten years of love and five years of marriage, they decided to share their love for dance to the world. While surfing only for a dance competition, Paulina found one about LADUWS. Manuel recalled having a friend being a telenovela star who went to Orlando's Studio 25 during the time of LADUWS' first ever recording. With all the love they have, Paulina and Manuel decided to go on.

Rebeca Nunes and Martín Soares(The Coffee Makers)

30-year-old Rebeca Nunes and 32-year-old Martin Soares are coffee farm workers in Salvador. Rebeca works in the marketing for the farm while Marin is a coffee picker. While attending a friends' party in the late 90s, they started dancing to a Christina Aguilera hit. Once there, they've been dancing together ever since. Currently, the farm is being sold and being turned into a parking lot by real estate developers. Worried that they would lose their jobs, they decided to go onto LADUWS: Brazil for the farm's sake.

María Paula Silva nd Esteban Souza(The Carnival Dancers.)

24-year-old Maria Paula Silva and 24-year-old Esteban Souza are Brazilian dance instructors Rio De Janerio. Being part of the RDJ Academy of Dance, they instruct teenagers on how to become better dancers and better people. They both first met at the same school ten years prior. They were both taking contemporary dances when they were assigned to each other for the winter finals. They didn't get along well at first, but after seeing Maria Paula's Kenzie Christmas doll collection, they decided to pay tribute to the world famous doll. It gave girls hope and dreams of working promoting Kenzie dolls. During the commercial for the Rock and Roll Brazil Kenzie doll, they were offered a gig on LADUWS. The rest was history.

Micaela Melo and Kellan Matos (The Dolphin Dancers)

19-year-old Micaela and 22-year-old Kellan are co-workers at the Ipê-amarelo Dolphin Center in Belo Horizonte. Before she was a dolphin trainer, Micaela was a ballet dancer for a traveling Brazillian dance troupe, whom her parents are the troupe advisors. After a seven years of traveling with her troupe, she settle down in Belo Horizonte, where she got a job as a dolphin trainer. During a practice session, a bunch of dolphins dancd with her. This also caught the attention of a co-worker, 'Kellan' who is a blind dancer. He gets teased often for his disability and got kicked out of all the local dance schools for being different, but learning from library books didn't stop him. After seeing that Micela's favorite dolphin is sick, she decided to go onto LADUWS to get the money for it.

Josefina and Kase Ferro (The Art Collectors)

18-year-olds Josefina and Kase Ferro are cousins and owners of the Ferro Museum in Sao Paolo. Before he was a museum owner, their grandfather, 'Rico Ferro' was a world renowned dancer. He'd even got to dance with the legendary Carmen Miranda. Last year, he passed away at the age of 91. While going through his old stuff, Josefina found a scrapbook of all the times he dance in Brazil. Kase, on the other hand, was taking care of online job openings when he saw an AD for LADUWS. Feeling inspired, Kase and Josefina decided to go on LADUWS in his memory.

Laura Cruz and Leonidas 'Leon' Da Costa(The Zumba-Ziserz)

22-year-old Laura and 23-year-old Leon are fitness instructors in Brasilia. Laura started out as a zumba dancing instructor when she was 18, around the time Leon was looking for a job after he got fired from his last job at as a personal trainer for making his clients pass out constantly. After meeting Laura for the first time, he learned not to rush into workouts. Recently, their fitness center was in need of a new wing and they didn't have the money for it. On the bulletin board, Leon found a flier for LADUWS and they decided to join.
