Gisei ran hard towards his village as he saw the smoke rise his black hair flowing in the wind and his small bear tail wagging slightly as he gripped his sword tightly "come on could the humans have really attacked so soon I thought they had a truce with us we are under the Shield Hero's protection."

Soon Gisei ran over a hill and was able to overlook his village, and the sight was a horrible on building were on fire some of his friends he could see were beheaded overs where hanged, he could hear the screams of women that while knew what was happening to them he didn't want to think about it as he drew his sword and charged hard into his village.

Gisei was a strong bear demihuman and he knew he was the villages best warrior despite being only fifteen, as Gisei entered his village he saw a human look at him and with hatred in the human's eyes he charged straight towards Gisei with his axe at the ready.

Knocking the human's sword away with a hard slash of his sword Gisei then brought his sword back up and with a quick slash the human who was in steel chain mill but that armor did not offer much protection at the human's neck and that was Gisei's target slicing the human's throat to the bone.

Gisei moved away from the now dead human and ran through his burning village seeing many bodies of his people he had known his entire life, having to fight through the tears that were quickly forming Gisei move towards the sound of fighting.

That sound as Gisei soon found that several of his surviving demihumans were fighting back under the command of the Shield Hero Kandaina he was a tall man with light brown hair who was giving it his all to defend from several human attacks.

Storming into the battle Gisei swung his sword hard taking the head of what looked like a human officer as he looked through what was left of his village's population there was maybe twenty demihumans remaining and Kandaina looked at Gisei with a sad smiled as he bashed a assaulting human in the face with his shield and repeated the action until the human was dead.

Then Kandaina turned to Gisei "I am glad to see that you are alive Gisei but we are hopelessly outnumbered we need to evacuate the remaining survivors."

This surprised Gisei as he ran his sword through a short young human soldier before pulling a dagger from his hip and threw it into the throat of another human before saying "that isn't an option Shield Hero they will chase us down and kill us all."

Sadly smiling as he used his shield prison on a group of three assaulting soldiers so a few demihuman's could shove spears into the prison and kill the humans inside "I know Gisei that is why I am going to stay behind and hold the humans off as you lead the demihumans away to safety.

Not one to want to run from a fight and after seeing that his house had burned down and his family wasn't here Gisei knew he had nothing left that he wanted to live for save for revenge and in his anger of realizing that not only his family and his village were gone but his hero the one who for the past decade had protected him and his people the Shield Hero Kandaina was going to sacrifice himself, Gisei was so filled with anger that he swung his sword so hard the he had completely cut off the head of a human that was in front of him.

"No I won't leave you" Gisei screamed towards Kandaina as more human reinforcements arrived Kandaina couldn't argue with the fierce bear demihuman and turned to a older fox demihuman and told him to take everyone he could and retreat to the nearby forest.

the old fox demihuman nodded and started the retreat as both Kandaina and Gisei stood to face a force of close to two hundred humans in steel chain mill and holding steel longswords and axes and Gisei smiled sadly as he charged into the masses of human attackers and started to slice and cut through several soldiers but he felt a hard hit in the back of his head and then saw an axe coming down on to his face.

Then suddenly the axe was blocked and Gisei saw Kandaina bash the human's face in then he started to send out air strike shields that would kill several humans "come on get up we need to buy a few more minuets."

Gisei nodded getting to his feet and began to slice and slash tearing through chain mill and splashing blood all over his face "just one more minuet just one more minuet that is all that we need" Gisei thought as he felt a spear go right through his knee.

Gisei felt immense pain as he swung his sword connecting with the belly of a human soldier cutting him so deep his insides were exposed to the outside but Kandaina rushed to Gisei using a shield prison to hold four soldiers in place as he pulled Gisei to his feet "come on Gisei the retreat is successful we have to le."

Kandaina was cut off as a arrow went through the back of his head and out the front killing him almost instantly.

"No" Gisei cried as he went into a rage as he saw his hero die in front of him, the bear demihuman didn't feel the pain in his leg anymore and could only swing his sword back and forth cutting and killing anything that was in his way.

Though several died Gisei was taken down by a spear to his gut and then he felt his hand get removed from his wrist and his sword fall to the ground.

The human commander leaned down to Gisei's ear and spoke softly "sorry this had to happen you filthy demi but King Aultcray the twenty first of his name has ordered that all demihumans inside his kingdom be killed or enslaved so I don't think you will be valuable as a slave so" he raised his sword and began to swing downwards.

"I wonder when we will have another Shield Hero as great as Kandaina I wonder when humans and demihumans can get along in harmony" Gisei thought as the sword went through his neck and killed him.

Wow that was rather depressing but this was just a story I came up with a hour or so ago, as you can tell these were all OC's as this story took place long before the current story but I hope that you all enjoyed it despite it not being the best.

Also I want to ask for anyone who wants to Roleplay Shield Hero Lemons with with I don't having anything that I am uncomfortable with and if you have something just tell me about. I only ask for really two things one that we mix canon characters with OC characters and second that you be the female as I am just not that good at being the female.
